A Great Rock in a Weary Land
Series Jesus in the Psalms & Isaiah
Isaiah thirty-two foretells the time of the Messiah. It begins in verses 1 and 2 prophesying the reign of the King of "righteousness". Then in verse 2 names Him "that man" and predicts great safety by Him. The chapter closes by prophesying the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Verse seventeen calls "righteousness" a "work". Yes, it's the work of Christ!
