Our Lord Jesus Christ, by the offering of Himself.The death of Christ has made amends unto God for our guilt, and added the "fifth part" to cover our sins.CONFESSION. ACCEPTANCE. "And it shall be forgiven him" (5:10). This contains a double promise, giving a double assurance."Through this Man (Christ) is offered unto you the forgiveness of sins" (Acts 13:38).Set Free from the Guilt;sins against the holy things of God,breaking the commandments of God, and 3. Set free from guilt, guilt due to sins against one's neighbors.
