Since many evangelicals have a very poor understanding of the gospel, biblical doctrine, and history, they make themselves vulnerable to Roman Catholicism. The papacy The perpetual enemy of the evangelicals has been very skilled in identifying these weaknesses and, 50 years ago, formulated new methods by which to trick unforeseen biblical believers. Then we see the message of Pope John Paul II to the predominantly Muslim nation of Kazakhstan, 12 days after the horrors of September 11, 2001, when he said, God is one. The apostle affirms above all the absolute oneness of God. Christians have inherited this truth from the children of Israel and share it with the faithful Muslims. It is the faith in the only God, Lord of heaven and earth. omnipotent and merciful. Ecumenism with the Evangelicals Before Vatican II, Roman Catholicism called the Evangelicals heretics. This had to be done mainly through dialogue. Some of the most prominent evangelicals of that time, such as John Stott and J. E. Packer, were the first prominent examples of this false ecumenism. John Stott and J.E. Packer, key leaders in the 1st and 2nd Anglican Evangelical National Conference, met in Keele and Nottingham, in the United Kingdom, in 1967 and 1977 respectively. The conferences were prepared to launch the new Anglican Evangelical policy of accepting ritualistic Anglicans who were essentially Roman Catholics in belief and practice. Both John Stott and J.E. Packer supported the statements of these conferences. This is how these conferences in England helped prepare the scene for the apostasy that would later take place in the United States. Evangelicals and Catholics together In 1994, about 17 years after the Nottingham Conference in England, the most drastic abandonment of evangelical principles took place in the United States. At the end of March of that year, a group of 20 prominent evangelicals and 20 prominent Catholics produced a document entitled Catholics and Evangelicals together, the Christian mission in the third millennium, which is abbreviated ECT for its English acronyms. The two main instigators of this reprehensible ecumenism were Chuck Colson and Richard John Neuhaus, a Lutheran pastor who became a Roman Catholic priest. Chuck Colson, who was born in 1931, claimed to have become a priest by reading C.S. Lewis. He also gave credit to the writings of Dietrich Bonhoeffer for influencing his life. In such a way that it is not difficult to see where it was that Colson learned his twisted theology and ecumenical philosophy. After being released from the prison that he kept for his part in the Watergate scandal, he started the Prison Fellowship Ministries. All efforts must be made to cultivate the moral principles of honesty, respect for the law, work, caring for one's neighbor, chastity, mutual respect between sexes, and the will to marry, have children, and form a family. We reject the assertion that in some or all of these areas, tolerance requires the support of moral equivalence between the normative and the biased. In a democratic society that recognizes that parents have the main responsibility for the education of their children, schools must assist and support and not to oppose or undermine the parents in the exercise of their responsibility. We fight together against the pornography that is so widespread in our society, as well as the celebration of violence, sexual depravity and anti-religious fanaticism of the entertainment media. So far the words of the ECT, page 7. The main fallacy of this long document is its declaration about the Gospel. The signatories express what they believe is closest to the Gospel of Christ when they declare, We affirm together that we are justified by grace, by means of faith, because of Christ. The evangelical signatories of the ECT have coincided with the Roman Catholic definition of active living faith in love and, therefore, have accepted an addition to the Gospel that cancels the message of the Gospel. By backing the Roman Catholic teaching, they have denied the clear teaching of Scripture that says But when the goodness of God, our Savior, and His love for men was manifested, He saved us, not by works of justice that we had done, but by His mercy. Titus chapter 3, verses 4 and 5. The apostate evangelicals support Rome doubly. On November 12, 1997, a second document titled, The Gift of Salvation, was signed and published by Evangelical and Roman Catholic leaders. It is called Evangelical and Catholic Together 2. Their manifest intention is to demonstrate the common faith, as they say, of evangelicals and Roman Catholics, and also, according to their words, to recognize each other as brothers and sisters in Christ. This was published on December 8, 1997 in the magazine Christianity Today. Explicitly, Catholic signatories such as Richard John Neuhaus and the Jesuit Avery Dulles, S.J. affirm in the document to be, according to their own words, Catholics consensually faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church. The Roman Catholic doctrine of justification conferred is taught as if it were the Gospel. The evangelicals are now united not only in the preaching of a message of justification and a confusing gospel, but also in a peculiarly intellectual way. They have come together to support the Roman doctrine of internal justice conferred, instead of supporting the biblical teaching of imputed justice. The devastating effect of the concessions that the evangelicals have made at the expense of the gospel is to stop the efforts to evangelize the Roman Catholics around the world. If the biblical churches accept to sacrifice the preaching of the true gospel of Jesus Christ, they will abstain from evangelizing the Catholics. The harmful impact of these theological concessions can already be seen in the deficient disclosure of the Gospel by the true Church in third world Catholic countries of Central America and South America, in Africa, as well as Spain, Portugal and the Philippine Islands. A practical and realistic example of ecumenical apostasy. A recent example of false papal ecumenism was the campaign called More Than Gold, launched at the 2012 London Olympics. However, the campaign of false ecumenism led by a Catholic seems to have been successful in giving ecumenical darkness and not the light of the gospel of the grace of the Lord. The Christian response to ecumenical apostasy The evangelical apostles that we have documented in this talk have a reputation of being Christians, but in reality, they are a danger to those who have remained faithful to the gospel. We must separate ourselves from those who promote heresies and ardently contend for the faith that has been once given to the saints, as the epistle of Judas says in verse 3. The fact that these evangelicals have recognized papal Rome as Christian should be extremely worrying. The deception according to which doctrine, faith and practice are separate elements in Christian life is very widespread among popular teachers. In the same way, a terrible ignorance of the word of God is generally manifested in evangelical circles. Even among the few who are familiarized with the Bible, there are too many people who think that it is irrelevant for the faith and conduct in today's world, while those who want to live according to the word of God are considered religious or legalistic fanatics. Hundreds of thousands of souls around the world have succumbed to the presentation of a false gospel preached to the astute from the pulpits of the emerging church and the evangelical churches. If we really trusted in the promises of the Lord, we would act differently. The spirit of biblical Christianity is dynamic. It is a person-to-person encounter between the believer and Jesus Christ.
