How to Confess Sin

After addressing God in terms of deepest reverence, Daniel begins his prayer with confession of sin in terms of transgression, perversity, lawlessness, rebellion and obstinancy against God. By his doing so, the Word of God provides all men a general pattern by which to confess our sins instead of the mindless confession which so often characterizes prayer. Here also is a key to really loving Jesus and his shed blood.
