A Man of Sorrows

As we read this text we are moved to recoil and turn to another passage. It is a verse filled with pathos. We are urged to rest assured the crown of thorns, the spear for His side, the nails for His hands have been laid aside. Our Lord now rules and reigns from God's heaven. Yet, we must turn aside to consider His suffering. This "man of sorrows" by necessity became acquainted with grief for God's elect people.
