I want to turn today in our Bibles to 1 Corinthians and chapter 1. So the 1st chapter of Corinthians and chapter 1. So 1 Corinthians chapter 1. I'm going to begin to read together at verse 1. So 1 Corinthians chapter 1 and verse 1. Paul called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God and Sophonis, our brother, unto the church of God, which is a corneth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, both theirs and ours. Grace be unto you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ, that in everything ye are enriched by him, in all utterance and in all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you, so that ye come behind in no gift, waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful by whom you were called unto the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, that they be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. By this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul, and I of Apollos, and I of Cephas, and I of Christ, is Christ divided. Was Paul crucified for you, or were you baptized in the name of Paul? I thank God I baptized none of you but Crispus and Gallus, lest any should say that I baptized in mine own name. And I baptized also the household of Stephanas. Besides, I know not whether I baptized any other. For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with the wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. For the preaching of the cross is to them a parish foolishness, but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. Amen. We pray the Lord to bless the reading of his word to all of our hearts. Our tax is found at the very beginning of verse 9. The little phrase, God is faithful. I want to speak this morning on the faithful God. Let's look to the Lord and ask for his help. Our loving Father in heaven, we would bow humbly before thee today. We acknowledge, Lord, that we need thee. We cry to thee for a sense of thy presence. We pray, Lord, I will pour out your spirit upon us. And I will help us around thy word. Help us, Lord, to preach thy word with power and with clarity. Help, Lord, thy people to listen to thy word with profit. And may there be a word in season, a word in comfort into the hearts of your people here today. I ask you that you close us in with thyself. In Jesus' name, amen. Thomas Presolem had a very difficult other life. They tell us that his health was very, very bad, and there were times in his life that he struggled. And he was confined to bed. You see, he found as a Christian, it is not always easy in this life. There's difficulties. There's trials. There's times when you would be laid aside. And this young man found this to be true in his life. He was a young man. At the age of 27, the greatest event that ever happens to anybody happened to him. He found the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. He found a friend. We were singing about this friend this morning. Let's take a closer on a brother. He found great comfort in the Scriptures. Because a Christian, when they're in trouble, when there's trials, when there's sorrows, when there's difficulties, we should run to the Bible. And so he ran to the Bible. He read the Word of God. And some of his favorite verses were found in Lamentations 3, verse 22 and verse 23. I'll read them to you. It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning. Great is thy faithfulness. Remember, these words came to the heart of this young man as he was lying in bed in great sickness. But he could testify, and he had learned by experience, that his God was faithful. Great, he said, is thy faithfulness. He had a great gift of poetry. And he wrote a poem to his friend, William Runnard, an unknown musician. One day this man was going through the poems that Thomas had written to him, and he came across one that really struck his heart. And he says, I could put music to the words here of this poem. And so that's where we got that great hymn this morning, Great is Thy Faithfulness. O God my Father, there is no shadow of turning with Thee. Thy change is not, Thy compassion's the feel not. As Thy has been, Thy forever will be. Great is Thy faithfulness. And so the great hymn was born in 1923. And every child of God here in this meeting today, we have to testify like this young man, that our God is a great God. That our God's a loving God. We have to say, of course, that our God, He's a faithful God. Our God is faithful. And we find it here in this text. Paul here, at the very commencement of this epistle, it is a long epistle. There are 16 chapters in this epistle. But at the very commencement of this epistle, he tells the people the truth. What is that truth? God is faithful. God is faithful. And I want to say that to you here this morning, at the commencement of this service. God is faithful. Maybe you feel in your life that God has let you down in some areas. Maybe you wonder how God allowed you to go through the dark times, the difficult times. But I want to say that God never changes. Our circumstances, they're always changing. There are highs, there are lows in the Christian life. But remember this truth today. God is faithful. Your God is faithful. If you're saved this morning and Jesus Christ is your Lord and your Savior, you have a faithful God. You have a faithful God. I want young people today who are saved to learn early in life, God is faithful. Because the devil will come with his doubts. The devil will come with his lies. You tell your God has let you down. That's a lie. The faithful God. I want to give you a number of points and show you today the greatness of faithfulness. That our God is faithful in every way. Could I say, first of all, and I run through these, God is faithful in his promises. You know, our God never lies. What he says, he will perform. I don't know about you or I, but people look me in the face and they've told me nothing but lies. But God never lies. Why? God is faithful. He's faithful. a child of God, we can trust his word. Every word he brings to us, every word he says to us, I can trust this Bible. There are men and women who have been burnt at the stake for this book, because they realized that every word was true. Every word was from God. God's faithful. I'll give you a couple of references to show it. In Titus 1 verse 2, in hope of eternal life, it's God that cannot lie. It's impossible, impossible for the God of the Bible to lie. He is holy. He doesn't lie. In Judeo-Alamy 7 verse 9, know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God. which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him, and keepeth his commandments to a thousand generations." And here is Moses really at the closing, closing message to the children of Israel, and he reminds these people that he's a faithful God, which keepeth covenant. God keeps covenant and mercy with them that love him. keep his commandments. Can I say God is faithful and he keeps his covenant promises? What is the covenant promise? Well, there's a tremendous promise given to us or given to God's people in Matthew 1 verse 21 about the birth of Jesus Christ and I shall call his name Jesus, well, for he shall save his people from their sins. That's a promise from God. When Jesus Christ came into this world, He came to save His people from their sins. And I say to everyone here this morning, He will save everyone He came to die and save. He will not miss one. God will keep His promise. Jesus Christ came and bled and died upon the cross, and He shed His blood to save us. Will God keep that promise? O child of God, when the Lord Jesus came into this world to save you, He'll keep the promise. He'll keep the promise. He has promised to save us. He has promised to keep us, to secure his people. I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish. Those he saves, he promises to keep. There's no such thing as being saved and lost. You cannot be a child of God today and washed in the blood of Jesus Christ, and tomorrow, you cannot be a child of the devil tomorrow. That's impossible. You are a one of the are. You are saved, you're not saved. You see, those he saves, he promises, I give you eternal life. He's promised to save his people and to secure his people and to keep them. In Psalm 37 verse 28, for the Lord loveth judgment and forsaketh not his saints. They are preserved forever. Those words the Psalmist was saying, way in the Old Testament, by the way, he was saying about the saints of God, they are preserved for when? For six months? No. They are preserved forever. God has promised. He's faithful in His promises. It's covenant promise to save His people and to secure His people. I read of a story of a person who was struggling with alcohol and he says about he was very conscious of his weakness and helplessness. He was asked to sign the pledge. Someone says, well, sign this pledge and keep it. The man says, I don't need something to keep. I need someone who can keep me. You know, after this, he found Christ as a Savior. He learned the great truth that he's able to keep that which I've committed unto him. Listen. Child of God this morning, God is faithful in his promises to you. He has promised to save you. Isn't that wonderful? He has promised to bring me to heaven. I don't deserve to go to heaven. I'm sure you're like myself. We're saved by the grace of God. And he's promised to keep me. I'm glad of that. I've been in the pubs long ago. The devil had his way in my life. He has promised to bring everyone, every one of his children, he has promised to bring us home. He's faithful. Could you show me in the Bible, Annie, who didn't make it? Could you show me, Annie, in the Bible, who was washed in the blood of Jesus Christ and who was saved and who didn't make it home? Everyone makes it home. Why? He's a faithful God. He's faithful. He's faithful in His promises to us. And I want to put that upon your heart here today. Sometimes God's people fear they will lose their salvation. Listen, if you're saved, you'll never lose it. He's faithful. He's faithful in His Word, in His promises. In 2 Corinthians 1, In verse 20, for all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him amen. Unto the glory of God by us. So we think of him, what? We're standing. What are you standing on? The promises. The promise of God. If I'm only standing on my own two feet, I wouldn't be standing too long. But we're standing on the promises of God. Listen, our God is a faithful God. He's faithful in His promises to us, and let us rest in His Word. Let us stand in His Word. Let us believe His Word. It's all we have in this dark world. We're standing on the promise. Well, Lord God's faithful in His promises. Could I say to you that He's faithful in relation to our prayers? He is faithful to hear and to answer our prayers. Now, I'm going to read a verse to you. It's found in Psalm 143, verse 1. I want you to listen to the words of the psalmist here. And he says, Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications. Now, here's what he says. In Psalm 143, verse 1, In thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness. And so the psalmist, he's crying to God with all of his heart, and he says, Lord, give ear. He says, well, hear my prayer. He says, In thy faithfulness answer me, He comes to the faithfulness of God to answer him. Remember Jeremiah says, the Lord said, Jeremiah 33, verse 3, "'Call upon me, and I will answer thee.'" I say to you, God is faithful in answering our prayers. I would even say this to you. God is faithful in answering all our prayers. There's not a prayer that you pray to God, child of God, or myself, that God doesn't answer. You say, that's impossible. You say, I have prayed for things for years, and God hasn't answered. Well, he has answered. He has answered. There are four ways God can answer your prayers. I'm going to run through them very quick, for time goes quickly. Sometimes God can answer directly. What do I mean by that? You can pray to God and you need something immediately. You cry to God with all of your heart. He says, Lord, I need thee, I need thee to do this now, and God does it. Daniel, it says of Daniel when he saw the vision, in Daniel chapter 9 verse 18, and he says, O my God, incline thine ear, and hear, and open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name. For we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousness, but for thy great mercy. Daniel's in the place of prayer. He's in the right place. He said, O Lord, hear, O Lord, forgive, O Lord, hearken, and do. He's crying with all his heart unto God. You know what he says in verse 20? While I was speaking and praying and confessing my sin, Verse 21, yeah, while I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, which I had seen in the vision, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me by the time of the evening oblation. I said, what happened was this, here was Daniel in the place of prayer, and he was crying unto God with all of his heart, and he said, while he was praying, God sent an answer. Directly. While he was praying, God answered. And there are times God gives us that answer quickly. Sometimes he does that. There are times, of course, he gives a different answer. Sometimes we pray, Lord, I want you to do this, the Lord gives us a different answer. The Apostle Paul, I'm just quoting here from my faith without reading it, the Apostle Paul prayed to the Lord, Lord, take away this thorn that's in my flesh. He besought the Lord, thrice he said, he cried to the Lord with all his heart, Lord, take away this thorn, take away this difficulty from my life. Did God answer him? He did. He gave him a different answer. He says, no, I'm not taking it away. My grace is sufficient for thee, for my strength is made perfect in weakness. He says, I'll give you the grace to carry it. But God answered him. God answered the petition. He gave him a different answer. Then we find sometimes God gives a denial in the answer. Like Jonah, for instance, he cried unto God in Jonah 4, verse 3, He says, Lord, I've just had enough. And he says, Lord, take away my life. But God didn't do it. He says, I'm not taking away your life. He says, no, but you know yourself, child of God. Sometimes our children will come to us and they ask for this. Well, we don't say, oh, no problem. Whatever you want, just ask. There are times we say no. And there's times I've prayed to God with a broken heart, and the answer's been no. The answer's been no. That's the way it works. But listen, he's faithful. He answers our prayers. And sometimes the answer's no. And sometimes there's a delayed answer. Sometimes we have to wait. And we have to wait, and the Lord, we think, of Zacharias in Luke chapter 1, it tells us that the Lord angel came to him and says, fear not, verse 13, Zacharias, for thy prayer is heard, and thy wife Elizabeth shall bear thee a son, and I shall call his name John. And this angel comes to Zacharias, he's going about his duties, and says, well, you know what he says to him? Thy prayer is heard. Your prayer's been heard. We know what he says to him. Zechariah says at the end of verse 18, Whereby shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years. So they were past that period of time where she could bear children. But what had happened was this, this was a man, and no doubt with his wife, he had cried to God, Lord to give us children. And God never, for years, never heard, never answered that prayer, sorry he heard it. And then he comes to him, and he's an old man, and said, I've heard your prayer. There's been a delayed answer. I've heard people telling, and from the Pope attesting when he's been praying for somebody, somebody for years. And after many years, perhaps they felt they'd given up. The prayer was answered. But I'm saying to you here this morning, learn the lesson. God is faithful in answering prayers. There's four ways. So it's wrong for the devil to come to you or for you to think this morning, God never heard me. He never listened. But God answers in four different ways. He may be delayed with your answer. The answer may be around the corner. I don't know. It may be a different answer. It may be a direct answer or a delayed answer. I just don't know. But what I'm saying to you today is this. He's a faithful God. He's faithful. Imagine you had a parent and you went and asked them something, they never answered you. You went the next day and said, they weren't speaking to you, never answered you. You say, well that's terrible. God doesn't operate in that way. He's a faithful God. And so he's faithful in answering prayers for us here. And that's to encourage you to come to the prayer meeting of this church. That's to encourage you to pray and to bring your petitions on to the Lord and ask the Lord whatever your needs may be. For oh God, he's faithful. Now the psalmist says, Lord, in thy faithfulness, he says, in thy faithfulness, answer me. He says, he's faithful. Remember, child of God, he's your loving heavenly Father. Never changes. He is a faithful God. He's faithful in answer to our prayers. Could I say to you also that God is faithful in His presence with His people. See, everything about God, you can depend upon Him. He's faithful in His presence with His saints. There are tremendous words in Hebrews 3, or 13, sorry, verse 5. The Lord says, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. It doesn't matter who the child of God is. It doesn't matter where they're living. The promise here is not just for some of God's people. It's not for half of God's people. The promise here is for all of God's people. What is the wonderful promise of His presence? He says, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. I want you to grasp the words from the Scriptures here this morning about our faithful God. He says, I will never, I will never leave you. You say, well, I have fallen, I have failed the Lord. He says, listen here, I will never leave you. I will never leave you. Faithful with all the saints. That's for all of us children. And child of God, that's for you this morning. comes, he says to us that God has forsaken us, the Lord has left us. It's a lie from the pit of hell. He says, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. You see that in the life of Joseph, cast into prison, lied against it. And it says in Genesis 39 verse 2, And the Lord was with Joseph. What tremendous words. The Lord was with him. He was in a cell in chains. He was lied against, as I have said. Chains, a cell of darkness. But listen, but the Lord was with Joseph. And you know, child of God, if you have God with you, it's all that matters, isn't it? It's all that really matters. Being dependent upon the Lord, His presence is always with you. He's faithful. I will never leave thee. I will never do it. He's faithful with the saints. He's faithful in all our services. You know, think of the great words of the Lord Jesus Christ. He says in Matthew 18 verse 24, where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. It doesn't matter where the meeting is. It doesn't matter what time the meeting is at. You can always depend upon the Lord Jesus Christ. He says, where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. He's never missing. Because I said to you this morning in this meeting, the Lord is in the meeting. Do we look for him? Do we listen for him? You see, he's faithful. He never misses a meeting. Sometimes we lament the lack of faithfulness in God's people. Someone stops and starts in their life. You see them, oh, I'm going to go to a prayer meeting, a Bible study, and then they come, and then after a short period of time, they slack away off again. Oh, the service is in the church. or the evening service in the church. We find in our churches today that where people are once so faithful in coming twice to God's house, and we should, if it's possible, of course, if it's possible for you to come to God's house tonight, then you should be here. Why? Because the Lord will be here. We can depend upon him. You see, he's faithful in his presence with us. If the Lord's not here, we'll be all safer to stay at home. I will be safer to stay at home myself. But the Lord is with his people. We can depend upon this. And we come to this house to meet with God, and to worship God, and to praise him with all our hearts, you see. He's faithful. Terrible thing, the Lord is waiting on us coming together, and we don't come. He's a faithful God in his presence, with his saints and in his services. In our times of suffering, I said, your time to suffering will come to all of God's people. We all have to go through the valley of darkness. A very young Christian, he said, well, I've never really had much problems. Well, your day will come. It's only around the corner. Dark times, trying times, difficult times, comes to all. But remember, God is faithful. He's with you. He's with you in such times. Remember over there in 2 Timothy chapter 4, the apostle Paul soon to lose his life, soon to lay down his life for the faith, for his love for the Lord Jesus Christ. And he said in 2 Timothy 4 verse 16, at my first answer, no man stood with me, but all men forsook me. Isn't that amazing? Where's his friends? Sometimes when trouble comes, you look around. And then you'll find out who, all your friends. He looked around and they're all gone, but he didn't pray against them. He says, I pray God that it may not be led to their charge. But here's what he said, and it's well known, no doubt, to the congregation here this morning, notwithstanding the Lord stood with me and strengthened me. No matter where he looked, he looked all around him, the people had left him. But here, standing somewhere in the shadows, was the Lord Jesus Christ. Nevertheless, he says, the Lord stood with me. Well, child of God, you can depend upon God when everybody else seems to forsake you. And there's darkness gathered around your soul. The Lord is with you. He never leaves his people. We can depend upon this. Look at that verse in Psalm 23, verse 4. Yet I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. I will fear no evil, for thou art with me. Even we come to die, and we will die someday. We will be taken out of this scene of time. But listen, here's the wonderful truth. The Lord is with us. He is with his people. I'll give you a wonderful verse. It's well known to all of us in Matthew 28, verse 20. The Lord Jesus Christ said these words before he left his disciples. And he says to them, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even until the end of the world. Another wonderful word the Lord Jesus sent on to his people, showing them here his faithfulness. Tell him to go out and make disciples. Go out and preach the gospel, he says. But here's a wonderful truth for all of God's people. And know I am with you always, even until the end of the world. Child of God, take these words for your own heart this morning. The Lord be with you to the end. That's what's neat, isn't it? You look at the end of your life, He's there. When you go through the valley of the shadow of death, He'll be there. Why? He's a faithful God. He's there every step. Now, granted, I have to say this this morning. There's times you not see Him there. There's times we search for God. We look this way and that way, looking for the Lord, but we just don't seem to feel His presence. But that doesn't mean He's not there. There's times we walk through the darkness by faith, But we have this faithful promise. The faithful God is with His people, and He's with you. He's with you. So, you know, I felt all forsaken. I felt alone. The Lord is with you until the end and for all eternity. He's a faithful God. Isn't that wonderful? I can say to you this morning, I deserve the Lord to leave me and to forsake me. But he never will, of course. He will never leave his people. He's with us to the end, through the end, and for all eternity. Why? He's a faithful God. Isn't that wonderful? That's why we sang this morning, great is thy faithfulness. Great is thy faithfulness. He is faithful in his presence with his people. He is faithful in the protection of his people. There are many dangers that will come upon us as we go through this world. There are temptations, of course. That's a great thing. And temptations can be translated temptation to sin or troubles. Now, there's a wonderful verse in 1 Corinthians 10, verse 13. Here's what Paul said in the same epistle where he tells at the beginning about the faithfulness of God. In 1 Corinthians 10 verse 13, there hath no temptation taken you, but such as is common to man. But here's what he said, but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able, but will with their temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. And you see here the faithfulness of God even in troubles. There's a limitation. There's a limitation here in our trials. He will not suffer you to be tempted above that you're able. He tells us what will happen instead. He'll make a way to escape. I don't know about you, child of God. In my own Christian life, there's times I felt I can't go on. Maybe you're crying within your heart here this morning. I just can't take another day of this. This burden, this trial that's upon my heart. You say, I've had enough. God will open up a way to escape. Maybe you felt today before you came in, I'm going to give up. I'm going to stop. Listen, next Sunday morning, you'll be sitting here. You'll be sitting here again. God'll help you through it. I have been there, and others, Christians who have been saved many years know what I'm speaking about this morning, by experience. You felt like giving up. Jonah did the same. Elijah said, enough, Lord. Take away my life. But they went on with God. And God'll bring you on, bring you through. You see, he's faithful. He's faithful in these things. He will not put too much on that's gonna break you. He wants to make us more to Christ. And you look back and he says, you know, those hard times were times I needed in my life. Can't say it in the moment, of course. But great is his faithfulness. I'm sorry, 2 Thessalonians 3 verse 3, but the Lord is faithful who shall establish you and keep you from evil. And there are many other verses, but our time is rushing on here this morning. But I want to say to you this here, God is faithful in His protection. The Lord is thy keeper, Psalm 121 tells us. He's watching over you. The Bible says in the epistle of Peter that we're kept by the very power of God. He's faithful in this. He protects us. And He watches over us. He's very faithful. You know, when I lived in England one time with children, we used to take them to London. and walking up the street, you know, those were free, the children were small in those days, but a lot of things you felt could happen to the children as we walked the streets of London. And they wouldn't know it, of course. Of course, they might have felt, some of the girls make me too bad to hold your hand, but the boys certainly didn't want to hold my hand or their mother's hand. But I walked about, and I just used to go, one, two, three, four. There's four of them, you see. I didn't count the wife, I thought she could look after herself, but one, two, three, four. But I was watching them. They didn't know it, but I was watching them. And God is watching over you, child of God. His eyes upon the sparrow, and his eyes upon you, great is his faithfulness. Can I say the last thing very quickly? He's faithful in his pardon. Sorry, there's two points, but I'll be very quick. He's faithful in his pardon. We do fail the Lord, and I want to reach through. Time is gone. Here's a wonderful verse. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Isn't that wonderful? Do we not fail? Of course we fail. We don't go out to fall, we don't go out to sin child of God, but sometimes in our life we fail and we sin against the God of the Bible, the God that we love. But listen here, the Bible says, tells us very clearly, if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. You see, greatness is faithfulness. He never fails. The devil lies against you. The devil says, look, you failed again. There's no forgiveness. It's a life in the pit of hell. Because if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Listen, there's power in the blood of Jesus Christ. He keeps on cleansing us. Someone prayed that this morning in their church about the blood of Jesus Christ. Keeps on cleansing us from all sin. Listen, he'll forgive you, whatever you have done. If you're a fallen child of God, the blood of Jesus Christ will cleanse you, because He is faithful. He is faithful. My children come to me and say to me, Dad, I'm very sorry for doing such and such a thing. I will forgive them. God's our loving Heavenly Father. He's much better than us. He's faithful in pardoning our sins. God, I say lastly, He's faithful in His provision. Because we know this, sir, at the very commencement of our service, it says about his mercies, it says, the Lord's mercies that were not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning. Great is thy faithfulness. He will provide for his people. You can read that in the Bible, of course. The children of Israel in the wilderness, there was no supermarkets, no shopping centers. But every day God fed them. The Lord tells us that even in Matthew, to behold the fowls of the earth. How God fed them. How much better are you? Paul wrote to the church of Philippi, My God shall supply all your need. The psalmist said in Psalm 37 verse 25, I have been young and I am old, yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor has seed begging bread. He's faithful in his provision. He feeds the sparrows. He feeds the birds. He will watch over you because he's a faithful God. I can bear testimony to this. There are people here today can bear testimony through the difficult times financially. Well, how are we going to do it? But we always get through because our God's a faithful God. And child of God this morning, he'll look after you. Remember, your God's a faithful God. Don't listen to the lies of the devil. Don't let doubts and fears fill your heart this morning. I trust if anyone came into this meeting and your heart was full of doubts and fears, that before you go out, you're changed. But God is still with you, still loves you, and he'll be with you to the end. Can I say it just in closing? Anyone's not saved. We want you to come to know this faithful God. We want you to be saved and washed in the blood of Jesus Christ. Would you not come and put your faith and trust in Him? He is faithful. The Lord Jesus is faithful to those who come to Him. He says, Him that cometh unto me, I will in no wise cast out. I prove that promise. And in this meeting has proven that promise. He is faithful. Come to Him. I can help anyone today. Come and speak to me. Come to your elders, deacons, someone in the church. Don't go home without a Savior. The Lord Jesus can save you, no other savior. Come and trust him. I trust that our Lord has blessed his word to all of our hearts. Amen. Let's close in a wee word of prayer. Father in heaven, we thank you for being with us. We pray you write these great truths upon the hearts of all your people. We're glad our God is the faithful God. Take us our separate ways and our homes in safety. We pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
