15. Tempted, Yet Without Sin

In Luke's first few chapters, he establishes the credentials of Jesus Christ as fully God and fully man. In chapter 4, Jesus as the second Adam goes into combat as a man for men. What he does for our salvation he must do in his true and fully human, though not fallen, nature.
