Series How to Worship
HOW WE WORSHIP: Sing Praise to the LORD!
I. The Injunction of our Singing
II. The Function of Our Singing
III. The Direction of the Our Singing
This message continues the series of sermons on the basic elements of worship. Over the course of this series we will work our way through the liturgy that we ordinarily follow during public worship.
Today's message looks upon the part of our worship service that involves singing. It is closely related to both prayer (call upon the Lord) and Worship (vocalizing our thoughts toward God.
The explicit commands to sing, shout, proclaim, declare are quite numerous and emphatic. SO? SING PRAISES TO THE LORD.
