Wearing the Crown of Thorns

At this hour, I want to approach the sufferings of Christ, from the standpoint of what the Roman soldiers did to Him, so that we might learn from what He suffered, so that each of us will pledge our allegiance to this great King, anew and afresh, and even enlist as a soldier in His army. It is only by the sufferings of the Lord Jesus, as a King, that you could be saved. For Jesus had to conquer sin and death on your behalf, and He did. The Lord Jesus is also the only one who can teach you how you to suffer for His name's sake, when you enlist as a soldier in His army. I want you to be able to see that Christ suffered as the King of Glory in order that you might learn to sweetly submit to His righteous rule, in all the circumstances that He will lead you into. 1st of all – I want to look at the meaning of the crown of thorns for every believer. 2nd – I want to look at at the meaning of the purple robe that was placed upon Him, for our sakes. And 3rd - I want to look at the meaning of Christ's seamless tunic not being torn, but cast lots for.
