Trusting In The Midst Of Darkness

There are occasions in the Christian’s life when he is compelled to walk in the way of trouble. He exchanges the mountain top for the gloomy path of the valley. He loses his joy and is overcome with grief; he sighs instead of sings. He is weary instead of being strong. He grows tired instead of pressing on. He walks in darkness and trouble seems to overwhelm his soul! Though we are children of light – we often experience periods when it seems we have no light. What is the answer in times like this?
