are dismissed to go upstairs. Please take your Bible and turn back to Daniel chapter 7. Last week I introduced a two Sunday series seeking to address some of the current events that we are seeing unfold. And I'd like to complete that today, not that it will be complete forever, for the very prophetic themes of the Bible are great themes to study. But I'd like to read a portion from Daniel chapter 7. And last week, We commented that the prophecy of the Bible is what gives us great confidence that the book we hold in our hand indeed is the Word of God. For as we see these things begin to unfold, we know it's a revelation. The Lord in the prophet Isaiah said this. He said, this is how you'll know that it's my revelation. He said, I will tell you the end from the beginning. There is no other book out there among all the religions of the world that has this type of prophecy like the Bible. Daniel is writing about the time of the end. And when you consider that this was panned over 2,000 years ago, 2,500 years ago, And he was told that he was to seal up this book until the time of the end. And the text says that in the time of the end, that there would be great transportation and great knowledge that's disseminating all over the globe. There's going to be a connection globally. And I don't think we can get any more connected than we are today. With global transportation, the Internet, the phones, Cell phones. I mean, it's there. Daniel chapter 7 and verse 9, I kept looking until thrones were set up. And the Ancient of Days took a seat, and his vesture was like white snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool. His throne was ablaze with flames, its wheels were a burning fire. A river of fire was flowing and coming out from before Him. Thousands upon thousands were attending Him, and myriads upon myriads were standing before Him. The court sat, and the books were opened. Then I kept looking, because of the sound of the boastful words which the horn was speaking. And I kept looking until the beast was slain, and its body was destroyed and given to the burning fire. As for the rest of the beast, their dominion was taken away, but an extension of life was granted to them for an appointed period of time. I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven, one like a son of man was coming. And he came up to the Ancient of Days and was presented before Him. And to Him was given dominion, glory, and a kingdom, that all the people, nations, and men of every language might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which will not pass away. And His kingdom is one which will not be destroyed. As for me, Daniel, my spirit was distressed within me, and the visions in my mind kept alarming me. I approached one of those who were standing by and began asking him the exact meaning of all of this. And so he told me and made known to me the interpretation of these things. These great beasts, which are four in number, are four kings who will arise from the earth. But the saints of the Highest One will receive the kingdom and possess the kingdom forever, for all ages to come. Isn't that a blessed promise? For we are the saints of the Highest One. Verse 19, Then I desired to know the exact meaning of the fourth beast, which was different from all the others, exceedingly dreadful with its teeth of iron and its claws of bronze, and which devoured, crushed, and trampled down the remainder with its feet. And here is the text, the meaning of the ten horns which were on its head, and the other horn which came up, and before which three of them fell, namely the horn which had eyes and a mouth uttering great boast, and which was larger in appearance than its associates. I kept looking, and that horn was waging war with the saints and overpowering them until the Ancient of Days came. And judgment was passed in favor of the saints of the highest one. And the time arrived when the saints took possession of the kingdom. Thus he said, The fourth beast will be a fourth kingdom on the earth, which will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth and tread it down and crush it. As for the ten horns, Out of this kingdom ten kings will arise, and another will arise after them, and he will be different from the previous ones and will subdue three kings. He will speak out against the Most High and wear down the saints of the Highest One. And he will intend to make alteration in times and in law, and they will be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time. But the court will sit for judgment, and His dominion will be taken away and annihilated and destroyed forever. Then the sovereignty, the dominion, and the greatness of all the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the saints of the Highest One. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all the dominions will serve and obey Him." And at this point, the revelation ended. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts were greatly alarming me, and my face grew pale, but I kept the matter to myself." We are living in some incredible times. The Lord Jesus outlines all of human history in the Scripture. We have in the Gospel accounts what is called the Olivet Discourse. It was a discourse that the Lord gave prior to His crucifixion on the Mount of Olives. And the disciples were with Him that evening. And they're looking at the temple, glistening with its gold. And they inquired about the temple and the time of the end. And then the Lord begins to outline in Matthew 24 and 25 the destruction of the temple and what's going to take place prior to His coming and the time of the end. And it is incredible instruction. And we come to the book of the Revelation and we read that incredible book. It's called the Revelation because it speaks of the coming revelation of our Lord and all of the events that are going to transpire before the world sees Him for who He is, King of kings and Lord of lords. But what you find in the book of the Revelation is also discovered in the book of Daniel. And as Daniel outlines history, And the end, he makes reference in chapter 7 to a final kingdom of the earth that is divided into ten kingdoms. A couple of weeks ago, I picked from my library shelf a book entitled, Enroute to Global Occupation by Gary Coff. I remembered reading this book probably 12, 14 years ago after it had come out in print. And I was redirected toward this book and the theme of globalism most recently as we have seen events in the world and in this country. Last week we began discussing that there is a three-pronged effort toward globalism. That's the key word today. Globalism. We've got global problems that need global solutions. AT&T's phone card, one card, one world. you are going to continue to hear globalism, globalism, globalism. Because we are headed toward this final kingdom that the Scripture speaks of. We spoke of a three-pronged emphasis in globalism. We spoke last week of the political and the economic parts Today I want to speak of the religious aspect. We discovered last week, I don't have one with me, but if you have a dollar bill, anybody have a dollar bill? Just loan it to me, you don't have to give it to me. Sammy, you got a dollar bill there? I just need one, but maybe I'll take three and keep two, I don't know. You know, we use this tender every single day. United States of America. One dollar. It's called a Federal Reserve note. We made reference last week that the Federal Reserve is not a part of the federal government and most people think it is. It's a private corporation. But on the back side of the one dollar bill you have the great seal of the United States. It's on the right side. It's the eagle and we're all familiar with that great seal. But for many years, the backside of that seal was not seen. But on the left side of the dollar bill is the backside of the great seal of the United States. Picture of a pyramid with a capstone, with an all-seeing eye. And that capstone has not yet been placed on the pyramid. And if you read the caption underneath that pyramid, It literally says, and it's written in Latin, so we wouldn't see it in English, the New Order of the Ages. The New Order of the Ages, the New World Order. And that was put on the dollar bill demonstrating that the New World Order was not yet complete, was not yet brought into fruition. And that's why the capstone is resting above it. But the efforts have been in place for hundreds of years from the human side to bring in the new world order. I remember a number of years ago when Bush Senior was our president. He was the first public official that I ever heard using the expression, the New World Order. But you've heard it a lot since then. It's becoming more common, not only in the government of this nation, but in the governments around the world. Efforts have been made by individuals to set up organizations that can help bring in this New World Order. I mentioned to you last week that the Council on Foreign Relations that was begun right here in New York City was begun with an effort to help facilitate the New World Order. Most of you have heard of the Council on Foreign Relations. Over in Europe, there's a counterpart. It's called the Club of Rome. These organizations have already set up a world parliament. There's an organization called the World Constitution and Parliament. They've already written a world constitution. Much of this has flowed right out of the United Nations. Once again, located where? In New York City. I spoke last week of the Trilateral Commission. That also located and started in New York City. This city has provided a lot of leadership for this whole global movement and new age that's being set up. Very interesting. But we focused more on that last week. the political side. We demonstrated that just about every single president for the past number of decades has been a member of the Council on Foreign Relations or the Trilateral Commission. Discovered that a couple of weeks ago as I was reading Gary Caw's book. I recommend it to you. And if the president wasn't, his vice president was. And most of the leadership that is chosen by presidents, going back for decades, have been members of one of these two organizations here in the United States. The majority of the Congress and the Senate of the United States is either a member of the Council on Foreign Relations or the Trilateral Commission. And this economic crisis that this country is in, that is literally affecting the entire world, is being used by people in leadership all over the world to help usher in the New World Order. You say, how do we know this? All you've got to do is start Googling and listening to different people who are talking right now within the past couple of weeks. you Google Kissinger's name and publicly he has been saying in the past couple of weeks that he's calling on our new president to use this economic crisis and this is his language to bring in the new world order. What it was hidden for decades from the public view is now coming to the surface i've mentioned last week that the majority of the people that are a part of the mainstream media are also members of the council on foreign relations or the trilateral commission and publicly some of these leaders are now saying that what has aided our ability to push this agenda has been the secrecy that has been given to us by the media for the past forty years you and i have have heard a little or nothing obvious but it's being put forward now you you look at all of this and you say what is going on my friends what is going on is what the scripture has told us is going to take place but what what where is all the energy for this coming from what is the desire to see established here not only in the united states but here in the world i mean what's it where's the energy coming from if you were to look at stuff Asians chapter two you would discover that the Bible says that the energy for all of this is coming from none other than Satan himself. He is the great energizer of this entire situation. And he has been seeking to do this for hundreds of years. And all we need do is go back in man's history to discover where it's coming from. I'm just going to begin with where we are today in the New Age movement. We've all heard about the New Age movement, more recently in the past, really, couple of decades. If you were to go just even across the street to Life Cafe, I was in Life Cafe the other day, and I picked up the magazines that were in the lobby of Life Cafe, and you were to open up these magazines, you would find in these magazines favorable advertisement for the occult, for shamanism, for New Age. It's just that prominent. Go into numerous Typically, you'll find these in health food stores. You'll find these in health-related organizations. Because one of the strategies of the New Aid movement is to infiltrate, in the name of peace and unity, organizations that will help meet the needs of community. We need better health. We need to eat better. We need to exercise. But the New Age is using these great themes to bring in this call for unity and peace. Now, does the world need to be unified? Yes or no? Yes. Does the world need peace? Yes or no? Yes. And we know that when the Lord Jesus Christ comes, He's going to bring a unity to the world, and He's going to bring a lasting peace. But the New Age movement, under the direction of Satan himself, is going to seek to establish this apart from our Christ. And it's going to be short-lived. at the heart of all new age religions is pantheism. A couple of weeks ago, Robert and Sal and I were out on our street just doing some interviews of just people in our community, asking them different religious questions. One of the young men that we had an opportunity to talk to mentioned to us that he believes in reincarnation. You know, just interesting. What do you believe in? Well, I believe in reincarnation. One of the tenets of the New Age movement is that you will never die. That is none other than the pantheism of the ancient religions that go all the way back to the Garden of Eden. For when Satan came to Adam and Eve, the first thing he said is, In other words, you need to question God's Word. That's where he started. And then he made this comment, you shall not surely die. But you're going to be like God. And those two ingredients are found in all the pantheistic religions of the world. God is the sum total of all that exists. That's what pantheism is. In other words, God is in everything. Not so much a personal God. You don't want to talk about a personal God who's up in heaven. But a God force that flows through all living things. You are God. And you have God's... We know that we were created in God's image. And you have this God force within you. You're a piece of who He is. And the New Age movement is saying that global unity is absolutely necessary for the proper flow of this God force that is going to solve all of the nation's and the world's problem. And so we must become a part of this New Age movement and yet it was a very live the devil from the very beginning and the occultic practices that you and I are seeing observed today and by the way you know as well as I do that this city is full of the occult it seems as though every year a new a shop pops up in our community we can go in and have your palm read or your future told or the cards laid out The occult has become very much in the forefront. And you study the occult and you discover that it also goes back to these pantheistic views. And most of the witches or the Wiccans or the shamans believe that the witchcraft is the ability to manipulate the forces of nature or the God force that you have within. You study the ancient Eastern religions, Hinduism, Buddhism, And they all focus on this inner force, which is a part of the occult. I was coming home last night, walking through the neighborhood, and a whole group of the Hare Krishnas were on the sidewalk, going through the groups of people. Two groups right here in our community. The Hare Krishnas started in America right in this park. There's a tree out there. It's called the Hare Krishna tree. Got a big plaque out there. And you'll see them marching around this tree. I've spoken with one of the head leader of one of the two factions here in our neighborhood. Got pictures of him going around that tree, shaking his little pouch. Very prevalent here in the West. Most revered guru are the Tibetan monks. Who hasn't heard of the Dalai Lama? the world has heard of Dalai Lama. And yet you study Dalai Lama and his religion and he will tell you that he is one who through his meditation has opened himself and tapped into the quote, spirit guides. And the scripture says that in the time of the end that people will turn away from the faith and they will give attention to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons. And this entire New Age philosophy that is infiltrating our schools, it's infiltrating our businesses, and it's coming under this need of, you know, you really need to relax from the stress that you're under. You need to meditate. And do people need to meditate? And the answer is yes, they do. The Bible says an awful lot about meditation. But what are you to meditate on? The Word of God. But that is not what these people are saying. They're saying you just need to meditate and just open yourself up to whatever. And so many people are falling prey to this and are opening up themselves to the occult. It's very seductive. It's very addictive. And as I mentioned, one of the most dangerous aspects is entering into this altered state of consciousness where you are opening up yourself to the enemy. And it's achieved by using a variety of concentration and meditation techniques, most of which have the effect of producing an altered state of consciousness. So they take something good, like health and relaxation, and there's a tremendous emphasis in yoga on what? Meditation. But it's not the meditation on the Word of God. It is this opening up of your consciousness. And some people actually go into this altered state with their first experience. But not everyone. People talk about an out-of-body travel, an astral projection, this hypnotism that will help you deal with your past life regressions, visions about future events, and then direct interaction with spirit guides. I'm convinced that a lot of the people that are leading this movement are in contact with spirit guides, the ones that are high up, but the people underneath them aren't. They have no idea what's really going on behind the scenes to bring this about. Because it's coming in the guise of health and relaxation and all of these things. But the people at the top know exactly what they're doing. Mind-altering drugs have been used for thousands of years to help bring about this altered state in the minds of people. Do you realize that the word drug and witchcraft is the same word in the Bible? Did you know that? In the 1960s, drugs and the occult exploded in this country with LSD and heroin and crack. And the desire was to get people dependent on all of these things. Some people have given up drugs after they've discovered that they can have the same experience in an occultic meditation. And yet all of this goes back to these pantheistic mystery religions from Babylon. It all originated in the city of Babylon. And Israel itself was surrounded by all of these religions. To the west were the mysteries of Egypt, known as the mysteries of Osiris. And they say that the eye that is on the very top of this pyramid, that all-seeing eye on our dollar bill is said to be the eye of Osiris. George Washington, I mentioned last week, when he left office, as president of the United States publicly warned this nation 200 years ago that the forces were at work 200 years ago to bring in this new world order. Listen, he made that 200 years ago. How advanced are we today? Israel was surrounded by these enemies. To the south were the Arabian mysteries. To the east were the Babylonian and Persian mysteries. To the north were the Assyrian and Phoenician mysteries, the Baal worship. All of this was surrounding Israel and the occult that was present with it and all the priesthood that all these mystery religions had, and what the people had to do to become a part of this religion and the secret rites that we had to go through to be initiated in all of this. But one thing was common to them all, and that was the worship of Lucifer, the light bearer, symbolized as a serpent or a dragon. Many times these demons that were behind these religions in Israel's day were made into idols and that is why when you come in the Old Testament you find God telling his people in Exodus chapter 20 that they were not to make an idol like anything in the earth. For that is what the mystery religions around them were doing and worshipping. Read that also in Deuteronomy chapter 18 verses 9 through 13. The Spirit expressly says that in the latter times, some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons. You go back and trace from Egypt, Persia, India, Greece, all the way down. There is a real emphasis that I've heard in the past several years. You heard the term Kabbalah? And who is the leading advocate whose name is being put out there for that? Madonna. This is an ancient mystery religion that really was an oral occult tradition designed to deceive the Jewish people. And it was an answer for the Old Testament Scriptures. And they taught in the Kabbalah that Moses really wasn't the divine prophet from God. He was really initiated into the secret rites of the mystery religions of Egypt. That's really the truth. The Old Testament is not the truth. Kabbalah is the truth. And that is being put forward very publicly now by movie stars and others. Gnosticism, which means to know, to have secret knowledge, was dealt with in the New Testament times. We have letters in our New Testament seeking to confront the Gnosticism of that day, which was all about a secret initiative. You got initiated into the secret religion and then you got the super knowledge. The New Testament was written to confront a lot of this that was going on in Paul's day. One of the mystery religions. And it too worshipped Satan and had a hatred for Christ. Who hasn't heard of the Knights Templar? During the Crusades, there were a group of knights who made efforts to protect the pilgrims that made their journey to Jerusalem. Those knights were honored. One of the ways they were honored is they were given the right to, when they got to Jerusalem, to live in a palace that was built by a king on the Temple Mount. They occupied the Temple Mount. And hence the name, Knights Templar. Very strong organization through history for several hundred years and gained great wealth all over the world. And then they were exposed. the Knights Kempler. If you know anything about history, you also know that they were the precursors to the Masonic Lodge. And most people don't understand that underneath the surface of the Masonic Lodge is none other than the worship of Lucifer and the 33 degrees that one branch of the Masonic Lodge goes through. The secret initiate, Torrey Wrights, I remember my foster father's father passing away and he was a member of the Masons. We attended his funeral. I went downstairs in the basement and here was a group of them gathered around in a big circle going through a special rite for the burial of my foster father's father. But if you get the literature the moral and the dogmas from the Masonic Lodge and you read them, not what I'm saying or what Karl is saying, but you go to the original documents and you will discover that the passion of this group is to establish a new world order, to put Satan at the forefront, and he is the God of this age. And from that order of the Templar Knights and the Masonic Lodge came the Illuminata. And they're the order within the order. We spoke of them last week. And the purpose, as you read their literature, is to abolish Christianity, overturn all civil government, and set up this new world order. Freemasonry is a religion. Don't think otherwise. I read excerpts from their quoting of Scripture. It was illustrated that so many of the verses that had the name of Jesus Christ and that they took out His name, they acknowledge that the source of a lot of their knowledge comes from the Kabbalah. And that the source of inspiration is none other than Lucifer, the light bearer. And the source of their power is the seething energies of Lucifer, the God force at work. And their desire is to unite all world religions under one umbrella. And it is the New Age Movement. 2 Thessalonians 2, 7 through 12, for the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains will do so until he's taken out of the way. And then that lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth, and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming. That is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. For this reason, God will send upon them a diluting influence, so that they might believe what is false, in order that they may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness." You and I have got to acknowledge that in our day, what we are seeing take place, from a political standpoint, with the push toward globalism, the ten kingdoms that Daniel makes reference to in Daniel chapter 7, You've got to acknowledge that the New World Order, the New World Parliament, the New World Constitution, the Club of Rome, the Council, they have already divided the world into ten global regions. That is known fact out there today. The United States and Canada and Mexico is region number one. Europe is region number two. The United Europe, region number two. Japan is region number 3. And the rest of the world is divided into those 10 global regions. The very first place that our new Secretary of State went to visit was where? You weren't paying attention, were you? Where did she go? Tokyo, Japan. and there's a reason for that because Japan, Europe, and the United States are the trilateral. And when she was there, she used the term globalism. We're gonna hear more of this. It's out there now. It's public. The push is on. And now the world's in crisis. So how do we respond to all of this? We don't respond with fear. At all. For Jesus said, do not be afraid. He said, I told you ahead of time that these things are going to take place. And then He said, you know, there are going to be an awful lot of earthquakes. Have you ever looked at the history of earthquakes in the world? and started to note how more frequent they're becoming and how stronger they're becoming. Jesus said this would be one of the things that would mark the time of the end and he said that this was but the beginning of birth pains. Now my wife has delivered six kids, I never have. But I do know this, that the closer to the event of birth, the birth pains come closer together and they're more severe. Do not lose heart when you see these things. But rather lift up your head, for your redemption draws nigh. And do not be deceived by these things. Do not fall into the trap of the new age. But meditate on the Word of God. And know what Jesus said. There would be many false Christs who would come. And we know from Daniel and the book of Revelation and 1 Thessalonians that yes, indeed, there will be a man who comes on the scene and he brokers a peace covenant with Israel. And it seems as though the conflict in the Middle East is taken care of. Well, I can tell you at least one more event that's going to take place. You study the prophet of Isaiah, and Isaiah makes a comment about Damascus. Damascus is the capital city of what country? Syria. Iraq is not the strongest country in the Middle East, militarily. Iran is not the strongest country in the East, militarily. What is the strongest Arab country in the Middle East? Syria. Syria even goes beyond Saudi Arabia. For Syria has had the help of the former Soviet Union. And the Bible says that the city of Damascus in Isaiah will be destroyed and no longer be a city. Do you realize that Damascus is the oldest city in the world? And they're still over there. and god only knows what's going to bring about this catalyst that's going to be a great push for the new world order and the rising up of this leader to bring peace but we also know that they're going to be countries that invade israel they are named by name ezekiel you know that one of those countries is listed as a ram ezekiel says purge but they change their name for purgatory and just just a few years ago There's going to be war and rumors of war. Just like Jesus said. And there's going to be this invasion of Israel. There's going to be this destruction of Damascus. There's going to be the rising up of this man who the world says is our great Savior. He's Mashiach. He's Messiah. He's going to broker this peace covenant. And Israel's going to rebuild their temple. There's going to be a semblance of peace. Just like the Bible said. But He's not Mashiach. He's not the Christ. For Jesus said this, this is how you'll know it's really man. Oh, don't be deceived when they tell you He's out in the desert. Go out to the desert. No, Jesus said this. He said, when I come, I'm going to come in my glory and the glory of my Father and the glory of the angels and the glory of the saints. Jesus said, listen, when I come, there's going to be the splitting from the east to the west, this incredible light of glory, a brilliant glory. And we're going to know Him because of that radiant glory when He comes. And we are His saints. For He is the Highest One. When He comes, He's going to receive a kingdom. He's going to rule and reign in Jerusalem as King of kings and Lord of lords. And while the kings of the earth have taken their stand against the Lord and His Anointed. Our great God in heaven will laugh. He will have them in derision. But the day will come when they will bow the knee and they will acknowledge that He is my Son." Christ is the one that's going to bring in global peace. Christ is the one that's going to unite the world. And the world will see under Antichrist the inability of that man to do it. Deceived by him. And I believe with all of my heart that the hearts of humanity are going to be open to Christ. The Bible speaks of this last three and a half years of this tribulation. It says that a great multitude that no man can number who've washed their robes white in the blood of the Lamb are going to come out of these final three and a half years. The greatest evangelism is in front, not behind. They'll see Him for who He is, King of kings and Lord of lords. And we, His people, will share in His kingdom forever. So let not your hearts be troubled economic collapse, global war, famine, earthquakes. Jesus said, this is how it's going to be. Take heart for your redemption. Jesus said, listen, when you see these things, Matthew's Olivet Discourse, he says, when you see these things, He said, you know, I'm coming. Matter of fact, He says, My hand is on the door. He's just going to twist His wrist a little bit and open the door and come in all of His glory. Let's pray together. Heavenly Father, you said that during the time of the end that men's hearts are going to be failing them because of terror. I pray, Father, that in the midst of the calamities of this nation and the world, and what is yet to come, that your people will have settled hearts, confident in you, and looking to our Christ. And I pray as those are troubled around us that we can offer to them the hope of the gospel and the revelation that comes from your Word so they can see Your Son and embrace Him. So bless us, Lord, as we move forward for Your glory in this place, in this community, in this city. We pray in Jesus' name.
