Good to be here this evening.
Good to see you here. Appreciate everybody coming out
this way. Thank the Lord for life tonight. Good word of God, I need it.
Somebody told me that it was good and I said, yeah, I need
it. We all need it. If we ever get to the place where
we feel like we don't, we're in trouble. I hope that we pray
much today for the service tonight. God's will be done. May the Lord
help us all to just come together. Amen. Just have church. This
could be it. This could be the last time,
the last opportunity. Amen. I just want to be that
displeasing. We'll pray tonight before we
do anything else. Let's pray for the service. Let's pray for
our laws. I ask you to pray for my sister. She needs the Lord. We pray for her. If there's any
lost here tonight, we're tickled to death to have you. Amen. You don't have to leave that
way. Amen. We may have come in lost, but
we don't have to leave like that. We might have come in discouraged.
We might have come in looking for help, but I believe that
the Lord has everything that we need. Anybody else tonight? God bless you. I thought always free. I once was so broken and battered
by sin. The stories that I tell you, Such a marvelous thing, how love
brought together Becker and the King. I've traded for riches

Who do men say that I am? He said, will some say that you're
Isaiah or Jeremiah or one of the prophets? And he looked at
little old Simon and said, who do you say that I am? He said,
I say, the Lord, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Amen. He asked him, if you may know,
he said, amen. Now will you also go away? He
said, Lord, to whom shall we go? There's nobody else that
can do what he can. Good to be saved. I ain't no preacher anyway. I do appreciate the Lord. I saw some people making the
right choice today. Amen, making the right choice. I guess it's Jonathan, that's
your name. I pat him on the shoulder, I said, you made the right choice. Then I seen a lot of these young
folk making the right choice. Amen, when we make the right
choice, we'll be blessed. Love you tonight over the book
of Chronicles tonight First Chronicles chapter number four. Amen. Good to be here. What wonderful
preaching we heard Kind of dreaded following that I appreciate the
Lord He's faithful, and I am who I
am. What you see before you, if you
see me at Walmart, it's who you'll be. Amen. You see me down at the drugstore,
this is what I look like. I'm just who I am, in other words. So, we just appreciate another
opportunity to be in the house of the Lord. I won't be before
you, I don't reckon, too long tonight. Just however long the
Lord, I could listen to what I heard last night all night. Amen, I really mean that, amen.
But the Bible said here in verse number nine, in chapter four
of First Chronicles, verse number nine, when you're there, say
amen. You do pray for me tonight. You're
not looking at a man that's capable tonight. No, you're not. You're not looking at a man that
can stir it up on himself, no. It takes the Holy Ghost. It takes
the Spirit of God. It takes unction tonight. But
the Bible said, and Jabez was more honorable than his brethren. And his mother called his name
Jabez, saying, because I bear him with sorrow. And Jabez called
on the God of Israel, saying, O that thou wouldst bless me
indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that that thine hand might
be up with me, and that thou wouldst keep me from evil, that
it may not grieve me. And God granted him that which
he requested. Amen. And so that's where we'll
stop tonight. And I was thinking tonight of
prayer. and thinking of prayer tonight,
and I was thinking about it there on my way home last night, going
to the house, and when I got in there, I told my wife, I said,
I'm gonna go back here and read, but I got to continue to lay
there. This is what God gave birth to
me. Amen, so you pray for us here
just a few minutes tonight. Now, I'm glad to see so many
come to the altar and I thought about as those children were
praying tonight and the great example that they've seen in
this church. Amen, truly tonight, we need
more examples and more heroes. in the house of God than we do
on a ball field. Or down in Hollywood, my friend. We need heroes right here in
the house of God, my friend, tonight. I'm thankful, Brother
Charlie, for the heroes that I grew up with. Amen, but I want
to tell you something tonight. I want you to see standing before
you, I've not always been. Hey, God, I'm telling you tonight,
There was a time in 1989, I needed a savior, my friend. I want you
to know he come to where I'm at. Thank God it rose me up. Amen, it made me who I am today. I didn't get here by accident. where I'm at tonight. It'll take
you as long as your life. Amen, to get to where you are. Whether you make the right choice
or not. Amen, you'll reap at the end
of the way. Amen, now listen. Our brother,
oh, our brother J-Beth. A man from the tribe of Judah. Thank God, what a messed up man. There was something about J-Ben. He was born in green. Amen. But he looked at his forefather. He looked my friend. I buried
his brother. And he just said, you know what?
I don't want nothing either. I love that mess. Thank God I
want to dedicate myself to God. I look at the world today and
I've said in my heart, I don't want to be like the world. I
want to be different. Thank God tonight. Don't you
want to be different? Thank God. It'll show on our
life. It'll show in our daily walk. We want to be different tonight. You pray for me a minute. Thank God I'm not Gordon tonight.
Praise God. I bet you hear me tonight. Over
in the book of Genesis chapter 29, old Jacob set out. He's looking for a wife. And
he finds himself down there at Laban's house. And he finds himself
in love with a woman. Amen. And he desired for Rebecca
to be his wife. Amen, and it worked seven years. And the Bible said in Laman,
I give him Leah, who was tender-eyed. Amen, she witnessed fire to look
upon. Amen, pray for me tonight. Hey
God listen, that ain't what he desired. But God had a plan. Thank God less any word. Amen
for seven years. And brother here he stood by
old Leah and her. Thank God and Leah began to have
sons. Amen to the Rebekah. Amen was wedded to Jacob. And
she began to have sons. and the fortune of being Judah. And so we read about Judah. But you also, amen, gotta understand
where this tribe was. Thank God it was a mixed up bunch.
Thank God it was half-baked bread. And shame, in one day and out
the other. Thank God, you know what J-Bear
said? I don't wanna be like him. And
I won't be cold one day, and hot the next. And the Lord told
the church of the land of Zion, he said, I'd rather you be hot
than cold. Forgive and forgive, I'll spare
you. Oh, listen to me tonight. Oh,
listen to me tonight. He decides I'm not gonna be like
my brothers. Hey, and the Bible said he was
more honorable. You don't hear a lot about J-Bells.
I've been all these years, I've heard it. God heard his prayer. Thank God. Some people think
they need their name in their lives. We think we need to be
on the deacon board. Or we think we need to lead the

the church. But all we really gotta be is
a child of God. Oh God, you might not sing the
best. You might not praise the Lord.
You might not be that preacher man. But in his eyes, you're
a child of a king. Let's praise the Lord. Amen. I left down there today. I got me a cup of coffee and
come over to my house. I said, Lord, I want you to know
I ain't nothing. I ain't nothing. I can't do nothing. Won't you go ahead and not let
me have to preach. Amen. I ain't much. I know I ain't. But you can't love God no more
than I do. Thank God he's been good to me.
He's been God to me. Thank God he's been there when
no one else has. He's been my healer. Thank God
he's my savior. He's my Jehovah-Jireh. He's my
all and all. Ain't you glad, sir, that you
got that man on your side? Begin to look up there. Begin
to see the important things. He looks up there and he sees
old David. He backslid. Amen. Come back to God. Wrecked his
life. Sword laying in his door. Oh,
he lied. He was a killer. Stole a man's
wife. Killed that man. Amen. He was trying to cover up the
truth. But he realized in the long run, you can't hide the
truth. It'll come up. And the thing
that you sow, that's what you'll reap. The very thing you've done
in secret will be showered on the house. That very thing you've
done in the dark, it'll be brought to light. And he looked down
on the little father, and he seen Solomon in all his wisdom. and riding in the mud, yet he
went away from God. And he built orders to Baal and
all these other gods. He was carried away with women
in his heart. He liked the wild women. Thank
God you listened to me today. Judah looks up, he says, you
know what? I don't want to be that way.
I want to be in the good grace of God. I need him to lead my
life. I need him. Praise the Lord. So you begin to ask some things.
It's written right in your book. Hey man, I can't add nothing
to this. The Bible said, and J-Baz made the right choice.
Thank you, brother. Thank you, brother. He made the
right choice. What did he do? He called upon
the name of God. Amen. The one that can answer
by fire. The one that he saw work and
brought men back that went astray, who fixed their mess. Thank God
today they ain't nobody today. They ain't no drug, they ain't
no psychiatry, they ain't no program that can fix you. Finish him! You have to go to
the bar! He lifted up fire and he called
on God. Have you called on God? Well, I'm gonna tell you something.
I'd hate to be so stubborn. Come to the house of God. I had
so much pride in my life. I couldn't get up out of my seat,
get myself down to the altar. You ain't got medical reasons. You need to get yourself on the
altar. Hey, God's doing it because he loves you. Preachers have been accused of
being mean. There are a lot of them not being
mean today. There's a lot of them not being mean. Thank God
we've got a house full of mixed breeds. Goats and sheep. Are you hearing me? You're running
off the cliff to hell. And that hireling's leading the
way. When the plug goes over, they'll all follow. I want you
to know, sir, you grab ahold of the truth. You buy the truth. You sell it now. If it cuts you
to pieces, you say, Lord, put me back together. That's good. That's good. Ain't that right? You know who
Samaritans was, don't you? They was half-Jews, but they
didn't have a whole Jew in them. And so the Jews looked at her
and said, you ain't got a God, you're a dog! And even one little

on the world all week. They're weighted down with the
world. You can't get an amen. I love them. The devil's rocking

She met the Lamb! and she drunk from the well.

drunk of Jesus. He gave her that water and she
wasn't thirsty no more. She'd been married five times,

go down there and get in debt for five years. I want a new
car, please. We all gotta do it. We all have done it. I ain't
ready to kill you. What I'm saying is, why not ask

move up. Nicky, he'll let you eat from the table. You get tired
of milk, he'll feed you meat. Ain't that right? Hey, listen,
he's got milk and honey. Amen for dessert. If we just
eat to me, he'll cut the sugar tree. And we can shout it out. Ain't that right? I ain't no real second to win,
I hope, tonight. He called on the God of Israel,
saying, O that Thou wouldst bless me indeed. He desired to be blessed. It's in the book. Charlie didn't
write that. No, turn it in right there. He desired to be blessed. He had kings in that lineage.

this and like that and like this. Let me be like Jacob. Let me

got what he looked for, and there's always somebody getting in the
way. Ain't it about time you get what you need? Ain't that right? Ain't that
right? It's about time you get what
you need. Walk through the mess. Hey man,

ahead of the flock. He ain't walking behind them
in a mess. But he's ahead of them, he's
trying to lead them. He's trying to lead them in the green pasture.
He's trying to lead them beside still water. He's trying to feed
them tonight. But we need some people that
will follow. I desire to be blessed. Again, it's right here in your
book. King James, you think King James will give you mine? You give a little, the devil
will take it all. The devil take it all. Ain't

he'll take it all. Ain't that right? Make the right
choice. Listen tonight, folks. The devil
take your family, he'll take your wife, he'll take your husband,
he'll take your children, he'll take the one you love the most
if you let him in. By time we desire to be blessed. Not only desire, but do what
it takes to be blessed. I don't believe in salvation
by works, but I believe works by salvation. Somebody say, what
are you talking about? I don't go to church to be saved,
I go because I am! You couldn't buy salvation if
you tried. He ain't looking for rich people
to buy it. He wants to give it to all the
people that need it. It's a free gift. He'll set you
free. He'll make you free. If you're
about time you want to be blessed, you got to come get it. Remember,
they had the right man. He went up there and moved the
rock. Here comes Rebecca. He make that right? Yeah. Come
here, come Rebecca, we're leaving. Leaving flock. Come on, brother.
Came down here and look out. Hey, look out, Jacob. Old Jacob
fell in love. Went over and moved a stone,
watered a flock, they put it back. He went down there to Laban's
house. Hey man, he desired something,
didn't he? And I never seen a beat in my
life. We don't have to go to church. And we don't have to
go to church. A lot of people's ripped Hebrews 10, 25 clear out
of their Bible. He said, I fell in love to a
senior. You don't know where it started. You're a tribal star
when you get lazy on God. When you're not faithful to God. When you quit praying and you
depend on everybody else to do it. Saul went down there to the witch
of Endor. He sought somebody else to do
his job. He done blew it a long time ago. The sentence had done
been passed. Amen. I'm gonna tell you, we're
living in a sad world where a lot of people's sentences has already
been passed. That's for another time. Dinner
and the flocks are laying there. Jeb has looked up there and he's
seen all the men. He's more honorable than all
of them. That's what the Bible said. David, Jesse, Boaz. The only one, he wasn't better
than, that was the line of the tribe of Jesus. Jesus and who
he came out of the tribe of Judah He said right there was a promise
made to David he said David does not fail man said Guess where Judy is Huh? It's still a mixed up bunch.
So Jesus had to come. He'd take that mixed up bunch.
Hey listen, they'd backslide and get away. He'd send somebody
to get them. Good news is tonight, God sent
somebody to get you. You don't have to lay by the
well. You can participate in it. You
can drink from it. You can eat from it. Hey, listen
to me. The only thing holding you back
is you. You. Ain't I right? Oh, Lord, have
mercy. You might go home tonight, say,
and get a thing out of them. Come back tomorrow night, will
you? Amen. The Bible said, although
thou wilt bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast. He wanted to
grow. I didn't write that down, he wanted to grow. Enlarge my
coast. He wants God to make him rich,
maybe so. But God hurt him is all I know.
How many people get saved and never grow? I believe there's
people sitting right in the house of God and they're born again.
But they're still in the same shape they was 20 years ago.
Except that excitement wore off. And now we're coming because
that's just what we do. Their well has a cap on it. They ain't drunk so long. They
ain't shouted so long. They ain't cried so long. Now,
brother, they call it emotion. We didn't find that in the Bible,
but he told us we had an option. Then over in Acts, the Holy Ghost
come. We got the Holy Ghost. You hear me? We got the Holy
Ghost. Somebody said, when'd you get
it? 1989. God delivered a package
deal down there in Valdez, North Carolina. He delivered the package
deal. Thank you, Lord. He delivered a package deal.
Came at it, come here to fight about doctrine. My fellow is
free to say that. More people's lost, they're still
looking for it. Some are, some are, some are. They're still
sitting by the well, thirsting to death. Die! Right in the house of God. Can't
be penetrated. They're hard-shelled. Everything
you preach is for somebody else, man. If you'd been here, you'd
got them. Well, Charlie, you preached good
today, so-and-so. Been here, you sure got them.
And what happened is you raked them, they're trying to rake
you that way. Some of you preachers know what I'm saying. I ain't
picking on laymen. If it wasn't for the people sitting
here tonight, we'd have nobody to preach to this night. So it
takes faithfulness to be at the house of God. But shouldn't we
desire something when we come? Have you grown to your limit? Ain't nobody busting out scenes
tonight. Spiritually speaking. Is that right? We've heard some shouting tonight. Nick, we've heard some shouting
tonight, eh? Amen! I ain't seen everybody
that's shouted, but my goodness! We ought to enjoy being in the
house of God! Ain't anybody clapping? Children on the altar, young
babies on the altar. Amen, they're being impregnated.
And somebody saw them there. They're in parts of prayer. I
don't know if they're even praying, but brother, they know where
they're going. Could some of us adults tonight,
as religious crowd, amen, fall behind the years? Who did Jesus want around him?
Forbid not who? Children. But guess what, honey? You don't have to be five year
old to be a child of God. You're children, too. My children,
too. You know what stops an old time
revival? When you go home tonight, you
look in the mirror. You'll find what? Hey, don't look at your
neighbor. You go home tonight, look in the mirror. You'll find
out what will stop a revival. Because at the end of the day,
it's your rematch. It's your rematch. It's your
rematch. It's not about the same two or
three shouting. I mean, that's fine. They need
to shout if they got it. But what I'm talking about, don't
put it off on somebody else. Don't you want to grow? Don't
you want to be blessed indeed? Don't you want to emerge in the
Lord? Praise God. Don't you want to
be enlarged? Hey, my nursing people wants
to be enlarged tonight. God, I'm tired of sitting here.
God, I'm tired of the same old saying, I want to be a hill.
I don't want to be a hill. It's going to take prior realizing
you don't want to be where that bunch is being. Some people like him, folks,
is there that day when Jesus died. People say today, say,
well, if I'd been right there, we know you wouldn't. You'd been
just like them. Them that he opened their eyes,
them that he healed, them powerful angels running down there, and
they were scared to death. And my dad's just saying, you
don't tell less words than you act. We're preaching the Bible,
don't say, oh, but listen, it was announced, it was very announced
what they were gonna do to the king of kings. Now, where's all them people
he helped? Has God helped you tonight? Be
careful now. Where's his, he said, he said,
you call me father? Where's my fear? Oh, where's
my honor? He said, you call me Lord, but
where's the fear? We call him Lord and Savior, where's the
fear? He don't bother us. Down there,
tell a dirty joke. When we in and around the church
and old Charlie can't hear me, well, I got news for you, honey.
You'd be better off him hearing it than God hearing it. One thing I've learned is to
be honest to me. I've had to be honest in my life. Even as
pastoring, even as being a priest. Listen, I've had to be honest.
God, it ain't them down there, it's me. I ain't praying hard
enough to move that rock. See, this gospel's for everybody.
I feel like they're picking on me. Maybe God is picking on you. He cares for you. Listen. He said, listen. I won't grow. What are you saying? I won't
grow. Bless me indeed enlarge my coast
and that thine hand might be upon me. Ezekiel said the hand
of the Lord. upon me, carried me away in the
Spirit, set me down in the valley of your high place. You want
to experience the power of God, his hand's got to be on you. You can't be a Sunday morning
only. You can shout all you want to coming down the road, but
if you ain't faithful, it ain't God. You can work your emotions
up all you want. It ain't God. I've seen emotions. I've seen the Holy Ghost. Amen. Amen. I've seen fog machines,
but I've seen the fog moving. It's too late to tell me, brother.
Hey, I know what the real thing is. We don't need a smoke machine
and a fog machine, but what we need is the post to move. In the house of God. Ain't that
right? We need the pulse to move it.
There was something that had to happen. Isaiah said, it was
in the year the king Uzziah died, I saw also the Lord, how I lifted
up. He saw also. There had to be
somebody else. Think about this a minute. Uzziah's
dead. Uzziah's done a lot for them. But see Uzziah died. He
was man. Hey, after God takes all the
options away, we open the eyes. You know what old Isaiah did?
He opened the eyes. He said, oh Lord, what was my I've been in the house of God,
I've seen his glory. And I listen, I want to be enlarged. I want your hand upon me. And that angel took the tongue,
went over and got the hot coal, put it in our lady on his lap.
Then guess what? And I saw, he said, I saw the
poster, that poster. And the smoke filled, and the
cloud came in. Thank God we can still see it
tonight. Maybe it's in your marriage.
Maybe it's in this and that. Don't only limit the church.
Listen, if your marriage ain't what it used to be, somebody
fell out of love. And it ain't God. He's still
in love with us. For God so loved. For God so
put emphasis on it. He so loved the world. How can we say it and not want? I'm trying to be done. How can
we say it and not want? How can we sit and not desire?
These sisters shouting, Lord have mercy. Sisters, you might
say, well, I'm shy, but how can you not want? I can't preach
like Charlie. I see stuff in Charlie I want. I see stuff in Gordon Larson
that I desire. I'm ashamed to tell people I've
been preaching 34 years. When all these other men get up and
I'm thinking, I missed it, I missed it, I missed it. But you know
what God said, you still earned it. You still earned it. You've
got the desire to grow. Ain't no one got it all figured
out. If everybody was the same, we'd
go to one church. You wouldn't have 10 on the corner. They can't even get along here
and they're going to heaven. I don't know about that. Somebody can't
go. I'd go to them if they don't
preach the doctrine I like. Well, listen, you ain't gonna
always hear what you want to hear. Some of us carry camels
in our pocket. Strain that and that. Got the
camel in our pocket, ready to slaughter it just to prove somebody
else wrong. Care less what's over your door.
Hey, if the Holy Ghost bear witness, I'll take it. Take it! In all these years,
some of you know what I'm talking about. I preached to Pentecostals,
I preached to Methodists, I preached to Presbyterians. I've been,
I listened where I thought the enemy territory was. And I felt somebody die at the
enemy territory, He was there the whole time.
It turns out you don't have to be a hoe in the freewheel bag
to get along. You just got to be born again. Hey, I wouldn't let you steal
his stuff like that and get in our way. Come on down just a little bit
and I'm about done. I don't want to dig up what the Lord's put
out. He said that thy hand might be
with me and thou wilt keep me from evil. We're in a sad, sad
time. The church is running to the
world, says the world, run to the church. Church is trying to look more
like the world. They say they lost people to come in, but actually
what it is, they come there and the Holy Ghost don't bother them,
so they're comfortable. That's exactly what it is now,
it can't be nothing else. Amen. I'm going to go down here
where there's a bigger youth program. I didn't see no Iwanos in here,
but I saw an altar with youngins on it. Somebody had to be praying
in front of it. Nature itself talked to us about
imprinting. How you think a mommy eagle gets
his eagles to know that they're eagles? She'll get down in her
face. Oh, look here, look here. How do you know? How do you think
Moses knew? He didn't blow down in Egypt.
He was raised by his mama. She said, you ain't no Egyptian,
boy. You're a Hebrew. You go far down
here. We need somebody, we need somebody,
thank God we need somebody to tell people they don't belong
in this world. Well, you know about J.B., it's
not a whole lot, but I know God heard him. Leah was an ugly woman,
I guess, I don't know. But she had the first four sons
of Jacob, bless God. before they started fussing back
and forth, and God closed their wings, but no wonder the tribes
were messed up. They got their hand babies having
their sons because they're so ill to one another. Am I right
or not? In Revelations, Ephraim didn't
make it, didn't he? Unless I read in the wrong book.
I don't think I did. This is King James. I don't want no swap. I don't want a little bit of
change. You're too old fashioned down there. Really, really too
old fashioned. Too old fashioned. Abraham prayed. Moses went up on the mount and
talked to God. Prior. In the garden, God makes the
first sacrifice. Clothes them with animal skins.
So he's now having to destroy what he's created because what
he created destroyed what he gave them. Ain't that right? He took the blood then and all
up to Malachi. Took the blood of bulls and goats
and oaks and doves and all this old stuff. Could you imagine
if this world lived by those standards today? Every one of us would be going
to hell. Because the law, it condemns you. It kills. But guess who makes a lot of
money? Grace of mercy kind. Don't you want? to get above
where you're at. God's gonna do things in your
life to get you where he needs you. Sometime Jonah, you don't
have to be swallowed by that whale. But if you ain't careful,
there's something gonna come and engulf you. And God's gonna
get your prayer. If you're lost tonight, everything's
good at your house, right? If you're here tonight and you're
lost, I ain't gonna ask you to raise your hand that everything's good
at your house. You can change. Not because I said so, but because
I've read it in the book. Oh, if you consider my servant
Job. Ain't nothing like him. Ain't nothing like him. Say something,
we'll just drop that hedge, we'll see. But God already knew his
heart. We ain't none of us faced what
he did. Yet he retained God. He did not
charge him fools. He told his wife, matter of fact.
Yeah. Who's big to focus on? Yeah,
that's right. Waltz woman. Yeah. Huh? Somebody come and
pee in a wee. I appreciate it. I'm going to
make out an outer cow tonight. Bless you, George. At the very
best I can. The Lord let me do it. That's
good, George. Don't you want to be enlarged?
Do you want to be enlarged? Do you want to be protected from
this present evil? We're in a fight. I got all kinds
of energy. You're in a spiritual fight.
This thing ain't in flesh and blood.
