All right, if you have your Bibles, we're in Joshua 1. We're gonna read verses one through nine. Now, after the death of Moses, the servant of the Lord, it came to pass that the Lord spoke unto Joshua, the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying, Moses, my servant is dead. Now, therefore, rise. Go over this Jordan, thou and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. Every place that the sole of thy foot shall tread upon that I have given unto you, as I said unto Moses, from the wilderness and this Lebanon, even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun shall be your coast. There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with thee. I will not fail thee nor forsake thee. Be strong and of good courage, for unto this people shalt thou divide for inheritance the land which I swear unto their fathers to give them. Verse 7, only be thou strong and very courageous that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law which Moses thy servant commanded thee. Turn not from it to the right hands or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. Verse 8, this book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate on therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein. For then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage. Be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed, for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. You can be seated. Thank you. I personally I love the book of Joshua. I know I probably say this every time I Every time I have the chance to preach or teach that this is one of my favorite books or my favorites I was talking about about him and then in my Bible reading my personal Bible reading I was I started the book of Joshua again and then I find out that if you're using the The read, read your Bible through in a year that we passed out, I think you actually would be in Joshua starting either yesterday, today, tomorrow, somewhere in that general area. So it just kind of, I saw it this morning, I was like, well, it's kind of funny that what the Lord gave me just kind of fits in with, if you're using that. But as I was reading and studying Joshua, the Lord laid something on my heart that I just wanted to share with you this morning. And to start out, right out of the gate, I have a question for us this morning. Do you ever feel weak? Do you ever feel weak? Now, listen, I'm not talking about, you know, obviously as we get older, you know, things change a little bit. And, you know, it's not, you know, I used to be able to bench press 300 pounds, but, you know, now I'm only able to pick up those five pound dumbbells. That's not what I'm referring to. I'm talking about, do you ever feel weak in your walk with the Lord? Or maybe it's something that you're going through, or maybe something that you're facing in your life, something that's a burden to you, something that's weighing you down. Do you ever feel weak? Now, I think if we're all honest, there's probably a lot of times in our lives where we just, we have that feeling where, you know, I just, I just have that pressure. I just, I feel beat down. Whatever it is, I just, I feel weak. And hopefully today, as we look at, look at some of the things in this charge given to Joshua, it will help, it will help strengthen us a little bit. From our daily walk to maybe something that we're facing, hopefully it's gonna help us. Now, listen, let me just preface this by saying I understand the context of this. It's a charge given to Joshua by the Lord. It wasn't written to us, but I see in here some things that I think if we apply, if we look at, I think it'll help strengthen us. Now, before we look at this, let's lay a little bit of groundwork so we're on the same page, we know what's going on. The verse 1 tells us that Moses is dead. Now, we know who Moses was. Moses was used by God to lead the children of Israel out of slavery in Egypt. Moses was the one that went to Pharaoh and told him of the plague, so let the people go, and Moses became their leader. Moses led them through some tough things, and Moses had some complaining people, Moses had some challenges, and now Moses that's done a good job, he's now dead. But Moses prior to this was not, he was told by God he's not going to be able to go into the promised lands. The reason was because Moses' sin at Meribah. But Numbers 20 verse 12 says, and the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron, because you believe me not to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, Therefore you shall not bring this congregation into the lands which I have given them." So God says, Moses, I want you to lead my people to the promised land, but Moses messed up and wasn't able to bring them into the promised lands. Now Moses is told he's about to die and Moses, your successor is going to be Joshua. Now, we know Joshua was one of the spies that was sent out, and when the spies came back, only two came back with good report. When they were sent out to spy the lands, both Cain and Joshua and Caleb were the only ones that came back with good report. Now, if you keep your finger on Joshua, we'll be coming right back there, but go with me to Deuteronomy, Deuteronomy 31. Now I want you to see this is where Joshua is given his charge from Moses, where he's told that he's going to be the successor to Moses, that he's who God chose. So, let's see, Deuteronomy 31, we'll start in verse 1. It says, and Moses went and spake these words unto all Israel. And he said unto them, I am 120 years old this day. I can no more go out and come in. Also, the Lord hath said unto me, thou shalt not go over this Jordan. The Lord thy God, he will go with thee, and he will destroy these nations from before thee, and thou shalt possess them. And Joshua, he shall go before thee as the Lord hath said. So Joshua's gonna be Moses' successor. He's gonna lead them into the promised land. And the Lord shall do unto them as he did to Sion and to Og, kings of the Amorites, and unto the lands of them whom he destroyed. And the Lord shall give them before your face that ye may do unto them according to all the commandments which I have commanded you. Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them. For the Lord thy God, it is he that doth go before thee. He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Verse seven, and Moses called Joshua and said unto him, in the sight of all Israel, be strong and of good courage, for thou must go with this people unto the lands which the Lord has sworn unto thy fathers to give them. And thou shalt cause them to inherit it, And, O Lord, it is He that doth go before Thee. He will be with Thee. He will not fail Thee, neither forsake Thee. Fear not, neither be dismayed." And Moses wrote this law and delivered it unto the priests and the sons of Levi, which bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord and unto the elders of Israel. So we see, we'll be back in Joshua, so you can go there if you want to, Joshua 1. But we see that now Joshua's been told he's gonna be the successor. Moses says, listen, I can't go into the promised land, I messed up. Joshua, you're gonna be the leader, I'm gonna die soon. And so Joshua's given this charge that you're gonna lead the people into the promised lands. We see here in Joshua 1 that what I just read is that the Lord gives Joshua a very similar charge that we just read Moses saying, that Joshua, you're going to be the leader and God's going to go with you into the promised lands. Now, when I read this in Joshua and in Deuteronomy, and as I was looking at this, there's a phrase that keeps popping up, and it's something that just kind of really stood out to me, and it's these two words, be strong, be strong. Now, in the passage of Joshua, I saw it listed at least three times that stood out to me, and in Deuteronomy there, it was multiple times listed too. And as I was studying this, as I was looking at this, Be strong just kept popping into my head. And I thought, how? Be strong. It's not something that just happens. You just can't just be strong. And as I'm saying, I was thinking back. I used to go to a gym back in Connecticut. It was a chain gym, you know, they had a million different branches here and there. And one of the things that this gym did, obviously you go to the gym to work out, right? I mean, that's, well, I mean, that's what they're designed for, I guess. So you go to the gym to work out. This is back when I actually used to do that. And so this gym, this commercial gym, one of the things they had was pizza night. where you go to the gym and you get free pizza. And I was like, that's kind of a cool gimmick. That's kind of a cool gimmick that, you know, it's kind of like going, if you're a dentist, you know, you send the kids home with bags of candy. You know, you keep yourself in business this way. But they had pizza night. And I noticed something after a while. Because pizza night just happened to fall on a time, it was like five o'clock at night. And it just happened to fall on a time where I was usually there. And you get to, if you go regularly to the gym, you start to know different people. And pizza night, there was this guy that would always come in, he would come in about a half hour before the pizza was supposed to arrive. He would go and he'd swipe his card, and he'd go sit down in a chair. And then the pizza would come. They put the pizza on the counter. And he would go over, and he'd take a plate, get some pizza, sit back down in his chair, and he'd eat his pizza. And he'd get done eating pizza, and he left. And I always thought, what is the point? That's not helping you. You're not getting any stronger. Listen, I could get a gym membership. I can sign up, I can pay, I can do what I need to do, get that gym membership, I can drive there every day, I might even walk in, but if I'm not doing something, if I'm not actually putting in some work, some effort, then I'm not going to get any stronger. Being stronger doesn't just happen. You have to do something, you have to put in some effort. How many people in here, you can raise your hand if you want to, probably just by the, People's faces, I don't know the answer. How many people either have right now or had at some point in your life a treadmill or a exercise bike or some type of equipment that was a clothes hanger? Right? It doesn't do us any good to have it. It doesn't do us any good. We need to actually use it, right? And so I think about where Joshua's at and what he's about to face. Moses is dead. You're going to take these people into the promised lands, and you're going to face battles in your future. You're going to face wars in your future. We know what the children of Israel have been like. They've been complainers. They've been rebellious. And Joshua, you're the new leader. This is what you get. Oh, and Joshua, by the way, be strong. You're about to face all this. Be strong. And I look at us and maybe we're facing some things in our life. Maybe it's something new that just came up. Maybe it's a tough decision that you have to make in your life. Maybe it's a battle that you're going through or a loved one's going through. And maybe we're just feeling overwhelmed, we're feeling weak. How are we gonna press on? Joshua, how are you gonna press on? How will we get through this when we're weak? Be strong. And I see that phrase and I think, but how? How, Joshua, how are you gonna be strong when you're faced with these battles? Christian, how are you gonna be strong when you're faced with that next thing in your life, when that next battle comes? How are you gonna be strong? And I thought, it doesn't just happen. But thankfully, as I look down through this passage, I look at some things that were told to Joshua And as I said, I understand this was a charge to Joshua, but I see some things here in this passage that I think would help us, some things that I think we could take that will help us when those times come and we feel weak, to be strong. So hopefully this is a help to us this morning, and if you need that, hopefully it strengthens us, and maybe when we face something in the future, it'll hopefully help us get us through that. But here's something I noticed as I was looking at this. Let me give you the first thing I see is I see don't depart from the book. Don't depart from the book. Verse 7 says this, it says, only be thou strong and very courageous that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law which Moses thy servant commanded thee. Turn not from it, to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper with us wherever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein. For then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. You literally cannot be strong in your daily life, your Christian walk, without the word of God. The book, the Bible, God uses that to strengthen us. It'd be like having a gym membership and not using it. Just because I have a Bible doesn't mean that I'm gonna be stronger. If I'm in there, if I'm learning what God says, then I'm gonna be strengthened. But how do I do that? I need to meditate day and night. It's not just a Sunday I come to hear preaching. It's not just a maybe Wednesday if I'm not doing anything else. It's I need to be in the book. Meditate. Meditate means to dwell on it in thought, to contemplate, to study, to study, to focus. Are we focused on God's word? See, if I miss a day at the gym, that day becomes two days, that two days becomes a week, that week becomes a month. Ask me how I know. My wife's like, yeah, you need to get back to the gym. You have a membership, go. It's how it is, right? Listen, it's no different when you're out of the word of God. It's no different. Maybe I got busy, and I understand. Maybe I got tired and I missed a day, then that day turns into a couple, and next thing I know, I haven't studied God's word in a while. I still have my Bible, I still have it, but if I'm not using it, I'm not gaining any strength. If I'm not using it, it's doing me absolutely no good. I need to make sure that I'm in there, I'm meditating day and night on God's word. I'm studying it, I'm getting what I can. Why? Because God guides us through his word. I need God's guidance to be strong. So that, not only me, we all need that. We need to be in God's word to be strong. That's how we get our strength. Have you ever maybe read something in your daily devotions or you've been in church and you stop and the thought hits you, Lord, that's exactly what I needed. Lord, what I just read was exactly what I needed right at that time. Lord, thank you for that verse. Lord, I needed that. But if I'm not in there, if I'm not in his word, if I'm not faithful to preaching, if I'm just kind of going about my life in my own way, then how can I expect to be strong when I'm trying to do it aside from what God has? But see, it's not just good enough for me to be in there and read God's word. I see that Joshua's told observe, observe and do. Observe and do, we need to observe and do God's word. Recently, I did something that probably all men hate. I went to the doctor. I hate to waste my time. It interrupts your day. It's not even that bad. It's like whatever. But for some reason, we just don't want to ever go to the doctor. Well, I went to the doctor. And you already know how it's going to go. So I went in. I sat down. The nurse brings me in. She says, I'll sit in the chair. And she's all nice. And she says, well, I'm going to, she has a little finger hand. I thought she was going to check my ear. And she sticks out my forehead. I'm like, it looks exactly like the ear thing. I'm like, what are you doing? It goes over here. So she checks my temperature. And then she pulls out the blood pressure cuff, puts it on my arm. And she starts cranking that thing and cranking it. And I think my arm's going to explode. And she says, oh, my. I said, oh, my? That's not what you want to hear? What do you mean, oh, my, it's good? No, oh my, it's not good. And so then the doctor comes in, and she says, well, you saw the oh my part. And she says, you know, this. And she says, how's this? And I'm like, oh, great. So I get my laundry list like we all get. Eat better. I eat like a five-year-old picky child. I do. and eat better, you need to get some exercise, you should probably lose a few pounds, we need to do something about your blood pressure, and all this stuff. And I left there, and I know what I need to do. I know all these things. I have the laundry list of all these things I should be doing. But the question is, knowing it, am I actually gonna do it? Knowing it's not enough, I need to observe that list, I need to know that list, but I need to actually do it. Being in God's word and reading it, hearing preaching is great, but it's not gonna change us unless we're willing to do something with it. We're not gonna get any stronger unless we decide, you know what, I'm going to take some action. I'm gonna actually do something. James 1, 22 says, but be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. It's not enough just to observe something. I can sit down and watch a exercise video while I'm eating chips on the couch. I'm observing. That's what I would do. I'm confessing everything to that. That is what I would have, like yeah, that person's working out good. Got some dip? But it's not enough just to watch. It's not enough to observe. I actually need to do something. I shouldn't be just reading my Bible so I check off that time or so that I can say, hey, you know what, my proverb done. I need to be of the mindset that, you know what, I want to be in their study because I know it's going to help me. I want to be in the word of God because I know he's going to give me something that's going to pull me through that time that I'm weak. I know it's going to give me something that's going to strengthen me and help me. You know, when I go to the gym, I go with purpose. I go with a plan. I go with something that I want to change. I want to get stronger. I want to grow. I go there with that in mind, and because of that, I focus on that. Why is it then that when we go to the Word of God, we don't go with purpose? We a lot of times just go just so I can say I read my Bible today. No, I wanna go with, Lord, I need something from you today. Lord, I'm dealing with this and I'm weak, Lord. Lord, I'm struggling in this area. Lord, I'm struggling with what I'm going through right now. Lord, I'm beat down. Lord, I need to be strong. Please show me something. Lord, use your word today. Lord, give me what I need today to strengthen me so I could be strong. It's not enough for us just to observe. We need to actually do something. I see not only that, but going down to verse 9, it says, have not I commanded thee, be strong and of good courage, be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed, for the Lord thy God is with thee, whithersoever thou goest. Do what God commands. Do what God commands. Have not I commanded thee. You know, I can't think of anywhere, if you know where there's something in the Bible, please share it with me. I can't think of anywhere where God's a God of suggestions. I see where God's a God of commands, where God's a God of do's. You know, when you look at your Bible, it gives you things to do, and that's what's gonna help you. It's not like, Children, obey your parents if you want to do what they tell you to do. Obey them to have the rule over you if you feel like it. Pray if you want to. Study if you got time. Go into the worlds, or don't. Your call, whatever you want to do. No, I see God's a God of commands. Children, obey your parents and the Lord. Obey the heaven and rule over you. Pray without ceasing. Study to show thyself approved unto God. Go into all the world and preach the gospel. And the list goes on and on. You know, too many of us approach God's word with a, if I feel like it or if it fits my life. If it's something that I want to do, Lord, then I'll do it. And I think sometimes we don't even realize that. I can't read my Bible because I got a busy day today. Listen, I get that. I get what a busy day is like. And I'm sure some of you are probably even far more busy than I am. But on those days where I kind of have that mentality, I step back and I think, I wasn't too busy to check my phone. I wasn't too busy to check to see who's on Facebook right now. I wasn't too busy to get to that next level on my game. I wasn't too busy filling the blank. But for some reason, God takes a back burner. I'm not gonna be strong if God's not a priority in my life. I'm not gonna be strong if I'm not doing what God commands. I need to make sure that I'm doing what he commands. I don't, I can't remember where I saw this. It was on a church sign somewhere. But I remember reading it on his church sign. It says, seven days without reading God's word makes one week. Little play there. One week, seven days. But it was W-E-A-K. If I'm not in God's word, I can't expect to be strong. If I'm not reading my Bible and studying my Bible and trying to apply it to my life, how's God gonna show me something to strengthen me if I'm not even looking at what he commands me to do? If I'm not even looking to see what he was gonna give me from his word, I can't, I can't be strong without that. One more thing, I need to realize, you need to realize, when you're going through those times where you feel weak, you feel beat down, you say, you know what, I know I need to be strong, but I just, I'm just getting crushed. You need to realize you're not alone. Look at verse nine with me. Have not I commanded thee, be strong and of good courage, be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed, for the Lord thy God is with thee, whithersoever thou goest. Verse five. There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life, as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee. I will not fail thee nor forsake thee. Now listen, I get, I get this, I said, listen, this is to Joshua. But do you realize that same God that led Joshua, that same God that was with Joshua through all this, that same God that was with Moses, is the same God that we serve today? God hasn't changed. God's not gonna leave just because, well, you know, that's Old Testament and God's all of a sudden gone. No, God's still with you in what you're going through. God's still there trying to guide you. God's still there trying to strengthen you in what you're going through, just like he was there for Joshua. You know, I look at this, it says, be strong and of good courage. It says about, you know, not, Don't be afraid and neither be dismayed. And I look at that and I think of a little kid that's getting picked on. A little kid, the bully's just beating him down. This little kid just feels weak. The bully's just pushing him, calling him names, totally in control. And all of a sudden, the little kid gets a smile on his face. See, the bully doesn't realize that the big brother just stepped up behind him. And now all of a sudden that little kid that was weak can get pushed around. Now all of a sudden he's got strength. Now all of a sudden he's got courage. I could take a stand because I have somebody with me now. Listen, I don't know what we're going through, but I do know this. God's not gonna leave you or forsake you. God's not gonna let you go on your own and say, hey, listen, what you're going through right now, you feel weak, you feel beat down, good luck with that. It's on you. No, He's right there with you. He's right there the whole time. No matter what you're going through, what you face, the Lord's right next to you trying to be a God in help, giving you strength. Why is it then that we try to walk in our own strength so much? Why is it that we try to do everything in our power when we know that God's gonna be right there? We could leave Joshua for now. Let's go over to Ephesians 6. Ephesians 6, if you know Ephesians 6, you know that's where we find the armor of God. And it made me think of Ephesians 6.10 as I was looking at this. Ephesians 6.10, we know this is the armor of God after this. We know this is, it talks about the armor that helps us through our spiritual warfare, helps us through our spiritual fights, our spiritual battles. But I want us to look at verse 10. Verse 10, it says, finally my brethren, there's that phrase again, be strong. But notice it doesn't say be strong, in yourself. Be strong to the best of your ability. Be strong as much as you possibly can. No, it says be strong in the Lord. In the Lord, and in the power of your might? No, his might. We need the Lord, but so often we try to do things in our own way. Listen, I can't be strong in and of myself. You can't be strong in and of yourself. We need the Lord. We need to lean on him when we're feeling weak. We need to make sure we're in that word, trying to get what he has for us, where he's gonna try to show us, listen, this is how I'm gonna strengthen you. This is how I wanna show you so that you're gonna be strong. I'm not just telling you be strong. I'm there with you. I'm trying to give you what you need when you're going through this. I'm trying to help you through this. But it's in my power and in my might, not yours. you need to lean on me. Be not afraid or dismayed from Joshua. Dismayed is deprived of courage. When we walk with the Lord, there's that peace in his strength. Isaiah 41.10 says, fear thou not, for I am with thee. Be not dismayed, for I am thy God. I will strengthen thee. Yea, I will help thee. Yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. God says, listen, you're not going through anything on your own. Like I said, I understand this is Isaiah. It's Old Testament. It's not a different God. We serve the same God. He's still with us just like he was back in Old Testament times. We need to lean on him. I want one more of my favorite passages of scripture. But it made me think of this, and I just want to look at this. It's probably one of the most common things we know, probably most of us haven't memorized. Let's go to Psalm 23. How do I be strong? Well, I need to get my answers from the Lord. I need to lean on Him. I need to put my trust in Him. I need to lean on His strength. I have none of my own. Psalm 23 says, the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures. He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul. He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me. Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies. Thou anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over. Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. You know, this is, like I said, when I was putting this together, I thought of Psalm 23 where I thought, that picture that shepherd, the Lord is my shepherd, that shepherd that's concerned, it takes on the care of every sheep, just wants what's best for them and provides for them. And they don't have to worry, they don't have to fear, even though they're weak, because he protects them and he guides them. His best interest is what they need. his best interest in mind is what the sheep need. As I read the 23rd Psalm and I think of the shepherd, when I lived at the cop's house, they had sheep, and the sheep were right outside where I stayed, the fenced area was right there. And it was a couple times that I would either come home or somebody would come knocking on my door, and they would be like, hey, I don't know if these are yours, but your sheep are in, the road. And I don't know if you can kind of configure that. A sheep's not going to win against a car, you know. So I would go out and I would try to help the sheep. But the sheep know where they need to be. They see where they're supposed to be going, but they're scared. The sheep don't realize that I'm there to try to help them. They're scared, I'm trying to guide them, and they're running away from me. It's like, listen, I just want what's best for you. I don't wanna see you get hit by a car. I wanna see you back where you belong. I wanna see you doing what you're supposed to be doing, whatever sheep do in the little sheep area. I don't know. But the more I tried to help them, the more they pushed away from me. The more I tried to guide them, the more they would go and do things their own way. See, all I wanted was what was best for them. And I think the Lord looks at us sometimes and he's like, man, I'm right here for you. I'm trying to guide you. You know, I got something I want to show you from my word. Why are you trying to do it your own way? I just have your best interest in mind. Why is it that you're trying to do things your way? Why don't you follow me? Why don't you listen to what I'm trying to tell you and show you? But too often, we try to do it in our own strength. Too often we try to do it our own way. Listen, I don't need to be afraid. I don't need to be dismayed if I'm following after God. If I'm doing what he wants me to do and I'm looking to him for my guidance, he's not gonna lead me in a way that's gonna be hurtful to me. He's gonna strengthen me. It says, the Lord thy God is with thee, back in Joshua. The Lord thy God is with thee, whithersoever thou goest. Listen, be strong. I can't. You can't. I can't be strong on my own. but I can be strong with him. I can be strong with the Lord. I need to be in his word so he can show me how I can be strengthened. And I need to be observing it and doing it, and I need to be going with the Lord every single step of my life. You know, we'll wrap up. I'm gonna end with just one more thing. The phrase in Joshua is usually, most of the time when you see it, for Joshua at least, it was, be strong and courageous. Now, I didn't even, I didn't touch courageous. They go together very much so. But when I think about the word courageous, I have a plaque in my house. I had read it one time in a restaurant, and it just was like, wow, that's awesome. It's a quote by John Wayne. And the quote says this, courage is being scared to death and saddling up anyway. Listen, you're gonna face times in your life where you're scared. You're gonna face times in your life where you're weak and beat down. But you know what? If I have God on my side, if I'm trusting him and I'm following him, listen, I'm ready, let's saddle up, let's ride. You know, He's not gonna take me somewhere where I'm gonna be more beat down or I'm gonna be weak. He just wants what's best for me. And because I go with the Lord, I have that strength. Listen, we're wrapping up, we're bringing this to a close. I don't know what anybody here is facing right now. I don't know, maybe things are great, and I hope that's for everybody. But maybe you're facing something right now where you're just like, man, I feel so weak. I feel so beat down right now. And maybe it's not today. Maybe there's going to be something in our future. Just realize, listen. God is still with you. That same God that was with Joshua, that same God that was with Moses, he's still our same God today, guiding us. But if I don't know what he's trying to tell me because I'm not in his word, and I don't know how he's trying to guide me because I'm not listening, and I'm trying to do things in my own strength, I guarantee you I'm gonna stay weak, I'm gonna stay beat down, and I'm gonna make a mess of things. Listen, I know this. The Lord could definitely lead us through anything. And if we're in His Word and we're walking close to Him, then like Joshua, we can be strong.
