Fellow Workers for the Truth

3 John 8 implies that all Christians should support the proclamation of the truth of the gospel and therefore be fellow workers. God's redemptive plan will go forward, and he graciously chooses his followers as means toward that end. We should follow the example of Gauis, who helped spread the gospel of Christ by hosting travelling missionaries, and not Diotrephes, who refused to welcome these brothers.
