Behold the Lamb

In this section, John introduces us to another John: the baptizer. First and foremost, the baptizer was a witness who came to tell others about the person and work of Jesus. A paradoxical mix of personal humility, an eccentric personality, and a prophetic/confrontational style, John just wanted people to experience the forgiveness and Spirit that would come through Jesus' salvation.
