Well, good evening. It has been a blessed day for me and thank you to all of you for making it special for me and my church. I don't take it lightly being able to preach God's word and to minister to you and you all minister to me and I thank you for that. I appreciate all those in my life, as I said before, that have poured into me. And I took the time to do that and did what I'm doing tonight. They've studied the word and they've simply taught it to me. It's the word that changed me and it's the word that can change you. It's the word that can change the world. It's sharper than a two-edged sword. It cuts asunder to our hearts. And we're gonna dig into it tonight and I hope finish up what we started last Sunday night in the book of Acts, Acts chapter one. I shared how important the book of Acts is to me. It's important to us. church to study through it and to know it and I would again encourage you if you're not read through Acts and went farther than just reading and studied through the book of Acts I would encourage you to do that it it will brew up within you a deep appreciation for the holy men that built the early church to the Holy Spirit's guidance in their lives so Acts chapter 1 I want to read again verses 1 through 11 to kick us off into what we will look at again tonight. Acts 1, verses 1 through 11, says, The former treaties have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and to teach, until the day in which he was taken up. After that, he, through the Holy Ghost, had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen, to whom also he showed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God, and being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water, that ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost, not many days hence. When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and in Samaria and unto the uttermost parts of the earth. And when he had spoken these things while they beheld, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, which also said, ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven." Speaking to you tonight, once again, about a message worth sharing. A message worth sharing. I want us to take a moment at the beginning of this message, towards the middle of our service, to think about the last time that we shared the gospel. The very last time. I hope it's been recently for many of us. If not, it'd be a good time in the service to make a commitment to share the gospel. To share the gospel tomorrow. Maybe this week. Just reach one. This week with the gospel. Share your testimony. how the Lord saved you, how that you repented of your sins, and you placed your faith and trust in Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. And if they will do the same, they too will inherit eternal life. I pray that we would commit to do that. But as you think about the last time that you shared the gospel and I shared the gospel, what was it that we said? What did we say? Did it include the elements that we talked about a little bit last week, the elements of the true gospel that we find in the scriptures? What message did we preach with our body language? Were we attentive to them? Did we tell them we loved them by the way we were looking at them? Were we in the moment when we shared the life-saving gospel with them? Some of these questions are easier to answer than others. I mean, if you're a true believer, you no doubt know the gospel. You can't be a believer if you don't know the gospel. And you gotta go farther than know the gospel, you must believe the gospel. But I think these tough questions are good for us to ask. They're good reminders that we must be sharing the gospel. And if your answer is, I hardly ever share the gospel, My response, and I believe the Lord's response, would be why? Why? Why do we not share the gospel more? Why do we not share the cure for the terrible disease that we were cured from? Why do we not? These answers We can answer them individually, of course. We can give this reason and that reason. We can answer the question, why do we not share the gospel more as a church? Is it that we are not equipping good enough? We all can do better. But ultimately, it comes down to us. The person between the hair of our head and the toes on our feet. We have to care. We have to care about the person in front of us. We have to care about our Lord who suffered on the cross for three hours. Jesus Christ had the wrath of God poured out upon him. Three full hours. God poured out his wrath, turned his back on his son, and Jesus Christ paid for our sins. endured the wrath that was pointed towards us. So I believe the least that we can do is share the gospel, share the cure, share what the world needs, share what others need in front of us. So my prayer is that as we comb through this passage, my prayer is that we would allow this passage to do what Romans 12 to says and renew our mind. I pray that we would allow the Word of God to transform us. Because, see, we stand in the way. We're the only thing that stands in the way from the Spirit working through us, from making a difference. So I pray we would be in the backseat. I pray that we would be in the trailer, and we would let the Scriptures guide us as we comb through this passage. I want us to first consider the message for the messenger. The message for the messenger. We talked a little bit about this last week. We see the message in verses one And two, particularly in verse one when Luke says, the former treaties have I made. The former treaties have I made. That former treaties is speaking of the gospel of Luke. And the gospel of Luke contained the gospel. So according to, we looked at 1 Corinthians 15, which is a well-known passage that we always go to to tell exactly what the gospel is. The gospel is the good news. The good news that Jesus Christ lived a perfect life, that Jesus Christ died a substitutionary death, that Jesus Christ was buried, and that he was resurrected that third day according to the scriptures. It's the gospel that is the message for the messenger. It is the gospel that is the message for us that we must share with the world. That is true love when we share the gospel. We say the gospel is a message of justice. It's a message of love. It's a message of mercy. For those that refuse to submit to the command of the gospel, the gospel is a message of wrath. The gospel is a message of God's sovereignty. It is the gospel that is the power of God unto salvation. It's the gospel that allows a sinful creature like we are to enter into a loving relationship with our Savior to go to a perfect home forever in eternity. It's the gospel that does the unthinkable, it accomplishes the impossible, and it satisfies those who are unsatisfiable in any way, shape, form. fascist the gospel is the dynamite message for the messenger the message for the messenger number two the proof of the message and this is all review from last week the proof of the message look to verse 3 Luke says, to whom also he showed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. You see, the message of the gospel, it wasn't given in uncertainty. The message of the gospel was not given in doubt. The message of the gospel was not given in secret. It was given by many infallible proofs. I mean, it was given front and center. These proofs were incapable of being false. They were and still are concrete evidence of the gospel message. What are these proofs? Number one, that Jesus appeared to many people after his resurrection for a time period of 40 days. Now, how much more proof positive of an answer can we give them that Jesus Christ truly did what he truly was resurrected from the grave and we know that because we have proof that he appeared to many post resurrection The second proof that we have is that the entire gospel message hinges on the resurrection of Jesus Christ. If Jesus Christ was not resurrected from the grave and Jesus Christ was still dead, this is void. It's of no use. The gospel doesn't matter. The gospel isn't the gospel if Jesus Christ was not resurrected from the grave. The infallible proofs of the gospel, it gives the messenger. It gives us what we need. It gives us first absolute confidence. And I love this. We can enter into a gospel conversation. We can enter in with confidence. We can know that no matter if we mess up, God can still use what we say. No matter if we might not speak loud enough, or maybe we speak too loud, which I do sometimes, God can still use us. He can. We can have confidence. because of the infallible proofs. And secondly, these infallible proofs gives us boldness. It gives us boldness if we truly believe and we can see these proofs in the scripture that the gospel message is real. And we know it's real because we believe it with everything that is within us. We can enter into a gospel conversation. We can be burned at the stake as a martyr. We can do anything for the Lord through the boldness that the Holy Spirit gives us. From within the message for the messenger is backed up with many infallible Proofs so the message for the messenger the proof of the message and number three This is what we will pick up tonight new material. I guess we could say is the preparation of the messenger the preparation of the messenger we can look back to verse 4 and Says, And being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water, but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days. When they, therefore, were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom of Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons which the Father hath put in his own power. And then in verse 8, it starts out, But ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you. Now we can say many things about what's included. In these four verses and half of verse eight, we can actually preach several messages about what's included just in this short passage. But what I want us to see concerning the message tonight is three steps to properly prepare a messenger. Three steps to properly prepare a messenger, to properly prepare us if we're going to enter the battlefield of presenting the gospel because that's what we're doing. If we're going to enter that battlefield, how do we need to enter that? How do we need to enter our ministry? How do we need to enter the hula hoop God has placed us in here in this world? We enter it like this. First of all, a properly prepared messenger must first be spirit-filled. He must, she must be spirit filled. In this passage, Jesus commands, clearly commands his disciples to stay put. Why did he do that? Because he knew that if they did not have the Spirit in them, in the new way that we see the Spirit residing in New Testament believers and in us today, if they did not have the Spirit in them, they were powerless. Remember, the disciples had been with Jesus around three years. They had sat under Jesus' teachings. Nothing indicates to us, even though they went quickly back to their old habits when Jesus was crucified, but really nothing indicates that they were bi-vocational this whole entire time. They may have been, but we'd have to read between the lines. So this tells us that they were more than likely with him constantly, day in and day out. So there's no doubt that they had the knowledge that they needed. There's no doubt that Christ had taught them many things. Even John himself said that all the books in the world could not contain the works that Christ did. All the books in the world could not contain the words that Christ said. Still yet, with all of this knowledge, Jesus Christ told his most faithful believers, you stay put. Don't move. Don't go. Don't start your mission. Don't start building my church until the Holy Spirit comes upon you. The Spirit now post-Pentecost comes to us at salvation and does a very special work in us. Back then, if you go through the book of Acts, you will see that every time the apostles would go from one people group to another, from Jerusalem to Judea to Samaria to the uttermost parts of the earth, what you saw was you saw the gospel presented, you saw many converts, and then you saw the Holy Spirit come upon them in a visible manifestation. that was to prove that the Holy Spirit really did come to all of these different people groups all the way out to the ends of the earth but post-Pentecost the Spirit comes upon us at salvation and he never leaves he doesn't leave he doesn't come back there's nothing that we can do to make him leave. So what's the big deal? How does it apply to us? Well, even though the spirit doesn't come and go, it is possible to quench the spirit's work through us. Second Timothy chapter 2 verse 21 says, If a man therefore purged himself from these, We'll talk about the these here in just a moment. If we will purge ourselves from a list of things that we'll look at, we will be usable. We will be usable to our master. We will be usable to be on mission for him. We will be usable to share the gospel. We will be usable to minister like God has called us to minister. What are some of those things? Well, you can see some of those things in chapter 2 of 1 Timothy. Things like the affairs of this life. You see that in verse 4 of 2 Timothy chapter 2. Things like unlawful living. Friends, we've got to follow the rules. And when we don't follow the rules, we can quench the Spirit's work in our life. Things of words of no profit. You ever been around those people that always want to talk ungodly all the time? If a Christian does that, the Spirit is not going to work through you. He's not going to use you. We cannot do that. We must be purged from iniquity. We can't have sin residing in our life, unconfessed sins, and expect the Holy Spirit to work through us in a full and powerful way. Youthful passions and learned questions, that is ignorant conversations. You ever been in some of those? Just no point to them. We as God's people are called to always be on mission, to always bring those conversations to a point And hopefully it's something about the Lord, something about the gospel, something about God, something about church. Stay away from ignorant conversations. In verse 24 of 2 Timothy 2, we find that we're to stay away from striving. That's being quarrelsome or always want to be argumentative or always want to fight all the time. We've been around people like that. We can't be a Christian to want to do that and then expect the Lord to use us in a very special way. And then we can't have a hard-hearted correction of others. We can't correct others out of anger. We can't correct others out of malice. We can't correct others in any other way except in a loving way, hoping that they will be restored, hoping that they will repent, praying that they will repent. You see, Paul is saying that we must avoid all of these things in order to stay sanctified, in order to be meat for the master's use, in order to be useful for the Lord, in order to allow the Spirit to work in us and through us in a full and mighty way. And if we refuse to do that, we will quench the Spirit. The disciples, when they heard this, they had to do a spirit check. They had to make sure that they were ready to spread this message worth sharing, and we must do the same if we're going to be a properly prepared messenger. A properly prepared messenger must first be spirit-filled, be in your outline. A properly prepared messenger must be spirit-dependent. Must be spirit-dependent. Look back to verses 6 and 7. Verses 6 and 7 of Acts chapter 1. It says, When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom of Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. You see, the disciples in verse 6 proved, and this is amazing to me, they proved that they still believed that Jesus's earthly reign was soon. They still, at this point, even after being with Christ for three years, even after Christ being crucified, even after Christ being resurrected. After all of that, they still wanted Christ to overturn Roman rule. They still wanted him to be crowned the king of Israel in an earthly, visible way. And of course, we're looking back, we're looking towards that when Christ returns in the clouds, but they were looking at the here and the now. They were depending on their own wishes and their own desires instead of trusting in God's plan. They wanted an earthly reign of Jesus so bad, it's almost like that it was consuming them. They were tired of Roman oppression. They were tired of the Roman taxation system. They were tired of all of that. And what did Jesus do? He corrected their own thinking. He tells them, it's not for you to know, in verse seven, it's not for you to know the times or the seasons which the Father hath put in his own power. You see, there's no psychic. There's no such thing as tarot cards. They're not real. You can't predict the future. We must get past the us and what we want and trying to see into the future and we must depend on Jesus Christ and His plan and God the Father's sovereignty. Matthew chapter 10 verse 38. Jesus Christ says this, and he that taketh not his cross and followeth after me is not worthy of me." That Greek word for follow, it literally means to drag or to tell after. So if we are totally depending on God's plan, we will take hold of His, we could call it tell, grab hold of Him with an unwavering grip and we will be closely following after Him, doing what He wants. doing what he desires, fulfilling his plans, his wishes, following his commands, loving what he loves. Charles Hodge, he was a Reformed Presbyterian theologian of the 19th century. He says this, the spirit never makes men the instruments of converting others until they feel that they cannot do it themselves. That their skill in argument, in persuasion, in management avails nothing. Sharing the gospel requires and totally dependent on the Spirit. In His work, as we share the gospel, it requires doing what God wants. It requires loving what God loves. Only when we do this are we really about His will. Only when we do this focusing solely and completely on Him will we totally depend on the Spirit to work in us and through us. It's in our dependence on the Holy Spirit that others will find eternal life through the gospel message that we share. We have to be totally depending on God and His master plan before we are a properly prepared messenger. So properly prepared messenger is, first of all, spirit-filled, must be spirit-filled. Then secondly, we must be spirit-dependent. Thirdly, you're seeing your outline, a properly prepared messenger must be spirit-empowered. Spirit-empowered. Spirit-empowered. Look back to verse 8 of Acts 1. But ye shall receive power. Dunamis is what that is, dynamite power. But you shall receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you. Two key words there, power and after. As I've already said, that Greek word for power, it means force and might. Force and might, miraculous power. The application is that the power we receive is not brewed up within ourselves. The power we receive is from our omnipotent creator. The creator that breathed the stars into existence. The creator that spoke the world into existence in six days with no effort in and of himself. That's the one that gives us this dynamite power. This means that if God has planned for us to do something, Then he's going to give us the power to do it. He's going to give us the resources to do it. If he's planned for us to share the gospel with a family member or an individual, he will give us the courage to do it. He will give us the boldness to do it. And if we know the scriptures at the point of that conversation, I promise you, he will give you the words to do it. Don't go into it ignorant. Know the Bible. And the Holy Spirit will do His mighty work and He will use us because we are a willing vessel. After the Holy Ghost has come upon you, we will receive the power. And we receive that today at the time of salvation. What a blessing that that is. 1 Corinthians 12, 13. says, for by one spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free, and have been all made to drink into one spirit. You see, it's the spirit that baptizes us at the time of salvation. The Spirit indwells our soul and we are now baptized or a part of Christ. He is ours and we are His. Once we are His, we can never be stolen. John says that when he says no man can pluck them out of our hand. John 3 tells us we are inherited eternal life. We believe in the perseverance of the saints, and verses like this clearly communicate that. Once we are His, we can never be stolen. The Spirit will live in us and within us until we leave this world. A properly prepared messenger must have true spirit empowerment. So the preparation of the messenger is a vital key to the gospel being spread throughout the world. And if you go back and you read through the book of Acts, you will find that it's this group of people that evangelized the whole world. Of course, Paul took the gospel, Paul and some of his other friends took the gospel to some of these remote places and other, and right there through Rome, and he took the gospel to all these other places. But it was this group of people that had the Holy Ghost come upon them that was able to build the church as we know it. So we've talked about the message for the messenger, the proof. of the message, many infallible proofs, the preparation of the messenger, that preparation is a God-given power, God-given emboldenment. And number four, let's look at the mission of the messenger, the mission of the messenger. Acts 1, second part of verse 8. We'll just read the whole thing in verse 8, but ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you and ye shall be my witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and in Samaria and unto the uttermost parts of the earth. Two things I want us to see here. First of all, the mission is both commanded and promised. The mission is both commanded and promised. Christ says in verse 8, ye shall be witnesses of me. Shall is both a command and a promise. Yes, Jesus was commanding them to be witnesses He commands us to be witnesses, but at the same time, he is also promising them that they will be witnesses. You see, the disciples were not only baptized with one spirit. They were not only saved, but the disciples were filled with the spirit. And remember, to be filled with the Spirit doesn't mean we act crazy and dance around and do all those other things. To be filled with the Spirit means we're under the control of the Spirit, being guided by the Spirit, digging into God's Word and living out God's Word in our life, allowing the Spirit to lead us in and through it. And that's exactly what we find the disciples doing. Jesus was foretelling the future to them. He commanded and they would follow. So the mission for the messenger is both commanded and promised. Secondly, the mission for the messenger was to evangelize the entire world. It was to evangelize the entire world. Yes, at first this seems like a very tall order because they were still in Jerusalem. Could you imagine this group of people thinking that they were going to evangelize the whole entire world. But Jesus lays out a plan for them. He gave Noah a plan when he built the ark, and he gives this group of people a plan how that they're going to evangelize the whole world. He gives that plan in Acts 1.8. First, evangelize Jerusalem, and we know that's a modern-day city. And then past Jerusalem, they would go and evangelize Judea, a modern-day state. And then Samaria, a modern-day, you can say, continent or country, however you want to look at it. And then the uttermost parts of the world, the entire world, that's how they were going to do it. They were going to be on mission according to God's plan. This mission is accomplished by following what Christ said in Matthew 28 verses 18 through 20, the Great Commission And Jesus came and spake unto them and said, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all things, whatsoever I commanded you. And lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the earth. You see, the apostles in the book of Acts, they would fulfill the Great Commission. They would go. They would go and make disciples in Jerusalem, in Judea, in Samaria. They would make disciples in the uttermost parts of the earth. And how would God accomplish that? Through the death, really of one man. And it was Stephen. You see, Stephen's stoning would spread the disciples who were there at Jerusalem. They would spread the disciples throughout all Judea and Samaria, and would be a witness to, we think, Saul, who would be later on converted on that road as he traveled, and Paul and others would take the gospel to the very ends of the earth. The amazing thing about this passage is that God planned their evangelism. God empowered their evangelizing. And then God worked through them to execute evangelizing the entire world. And the apostles and those that helped spread the gospel, they loved it. They ate it up. They could identify with what Charles Spurgeon said. He said, and I quote, to be a soul winner is the happiest thing in the world. You see, the mission for the messenger was simple. Our mission is simple, evangelize, evangelize. Number five, the fuel for the messenger. The fuel for the messenger. We go back to verses 9 through 11 of our passage in Acts 1. And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven, as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus which is taken up from you into heaven shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. So what's the point? The point is Jesus's second coming is our fuel. The future reward of our Lord and Savior coming back to get us. The future reward of us being absent from the body and being present with the Lord. The future reward of us receiving those crowns of righteousness that we will lay at the feet of our Heavenly Father. That is our goal. That is our prize. That is the fuel. It's Jesus we are looking for. We are working for. We're looking for him as well. We're looking and working and we're focusing ultimately and fully on him at all times. He is our fuel. It is God that we want to glorify in everything, especially in our evangelizing. I mean, if the fact that God went to the greatest extent that He did by sending His only begotten Son, if the fact that He commended His love towards us, and that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, if that don't fuel us and awaken us, we're dead. If the fact that Jesus Christ is coming back, and He's not coming back as a baby the second time, He's coming back in His fierceness, in His wrath. He's coming back to get His children. If that don't fuel our fire, if it don't fan our flame, the spark has not been ignited. You see the true messengers, they have a fuel. And our fuel is our Heavenly Father. So we've talked about the message. The message is simple. It's the gospel. What was the proof of that message? Well, we have many infallible proofs. The gospel message is incapable of being wrong. We've talked about the preparation of the messenger. The preparation is the power that God gives us, the power of the Holy Spirit, and how the Holy Spirit works in us and through us to accomplish God's plan. What is our mission? Our mission is simple, evangelize. evangelize your home, evangelize your job, evangelize the community, evangelize the world. What is our fuel? The fuel is Christ. It's our Lord. So what's the application for us? Three quick points of application. First of all, we must examine and reflect. We must examine and reflect. I want us to examine what we believe the gospel is. Because it's possible that someone may be placing their faith in some kind of work. Somebody might be placing their faith in the water of baptism. Somebody might be placing their faith on church membership. It's possible, but that's not the gospel. We place our faith in Jesus Christ, in the fact He lived. perfect life. We place our faith in the fact that He died for our sins. We place our faith in the fact that on the cross He was, as we learned three or four weeks ago, our propitiation. That He was the wrath bearer for us. We're placing our faith in Him, not ourselves. So we must examine what we think and believe the gospel is, and then we must reflect on What do you and I really believe it is? Have we placed our faith in it? And are we sharing the true biblical gospel? Examine and reflect. Secondly, we must pray and develop. We must pray and develop. I first want us to pray of Pray and repent of not having a desire or having enough of a desire for the lost to be saved. Repent of not sharing the gospel like we should. None of us have arrived. I guarantee you each and every one of us missed at least one opportunity, probably today, to share the gospel. Definitely this past week. We must always be thinking about others, and that starts in our prayer life, praying for the lost, praying for that person that we work with, praying for that family member that God will give us an opportunity to share the gospel with him. And then we must develop a plan. We must develop a plan. Develop a plan to keep the lost in the forefront of our minds. Develop a plan to keep hell. real in our minds. You know, it's easy to talk about hell, but a lot of times we really don't think about it. Hell is not the absence of God. In the New Testament, when hell is spoken of, they were talking about the Valley of Gehenna, a place that burned with fire at all times. A place of stench, a place of smoke, a place that pictured destruction and torment. That's where those that die without Christ are going. We must do more than just talk about it. We must really think about it so that we will develop a desire to see the lost saved. Charles Spurgeon says winners of souls must be first weepers for souls. Lastly, we must go and share. We must go and share the message worth sharing. And I'll just throw this in for free. Tracts are great. Giving a Bible out is wonderful. I'm not trying to say that they're not. But too many people use tracts and handing Bibles out for a crutch not to speak. So I would encourage you to use the voice that God has given you. Use that air in your lungs and that air passing through those vocal cords. Use that for God's glory through sharing the gospel. That's how we see it through the New Testament. Yes, Paul wrote letters and we see, we have those letters today and God does speak through writings. I'm not saying that, but God wants us to share the gospel with our God-given voice. So let's speak up and share the gospel and share this message worth sharing. I close with this quote. I think I shared this last week, but I love it. It says every Christian is either a missionary or an imposter. Every Christian is either a missionary or an imposter. So which one are we going to be this week? Will we be on mission? Or will we continue to worry about self and not worry about others? And if we fall in that category, we're an imposter. We're not a missionary. Father, we thank you for tonight. We thank you for everything that you've done. Father, I thank you that we get to close our service out tonight. Lord, by partaking of the Lord's Supper. Lord, what a visible display of the gospel message. What a visible display of how that your son's body was broken. What a visible display about how that his blood was poured out, Lord, to pay for our sins. Lord, I pray that we don't partake in an unworthy manner. I pray that we don't partake lightly. Lord, I pray that as we partake, that it will be fuel within us to go out. and share the best message, to share the message that the lost can be saved if they will repent of their sins and place their faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for them. Lord, be with us at this time of invitation. I pray that you would work in our hearts so that we would dedicate this week, Lord, to you by sharing the gospel message. Father, we love you. It's in your son's name we pray.
