The current events update. Israel at war. Today's date 21625. The number of hostages has decreased
to 73. And so we're glad about that.
The hostages came out and found out one of them had a daughter
they didn't know they'd never met. Another found out their
dad had been murdered. Another found out their brother
is still in captivity. So joy and anguish as hostages
were released. Three were released yesterday.
That still leaves 73 to be released. And the reports from the hostages
coming out of Gaza are bad, but they're not surprising. Honestly,
the fact that they didn't abuse and kill all of them is kind
of surprising to me, to be honest with you. But hours after the
release yesterday, those new hostages talked about the torture
and psychological torment that they suffered. Now, the next
slide doesn't say anything because I've been waiting to hear Israel's
response. And there was nothing to say.
They went into a meeting. And I haven't heard, but the
issue is that Hamas had said, we're not gonna release any more
hostages, because Israel's not following the ceasefire, which
they have, but we won't get into all the details of that. So they
weren't gonna release any. Well, then Trump said, you either
release those hostages or you're gonna pay for it. And then Trump
said, not only that, you need to release them all. Well then
Hamas was like, okay, we'll go back to the original plan, we'll
give you three, here you go. I was like, Floyd the barber,
here's your three. So Israel went ahead and went
along with that original plan and they released like 300 and
some terrorists for three Israelis. They then were gonna say, now
that we've got those three, we've made that exchange, are we going
to allow them to go back to the ceasefire agreement? Or are we gonna unleash our wrath? So we're waiting to hear that.
And that's what we'll be praying about as we stand with Israel,
amen? We'll see. In other news, skeptics claim
that whales don't swallow people. You ever heard that? This happened
recently in Chile. Here again, if you missed it,
that's a dude being swallowed by a whale. So, one of the cases
made against the story of Jonah in the Bible, of course, there's
a lot of people who think Jesus didn't know what he's talking
about, because Jesus said Jonah was swallowed by a whale. It
was a big fish. No, it was a whale. You know
I know that? Because Jesus said so. And the
other reason, though, if you want to then, if you have to
have something else to help your faith, that's just one, there's
been all kinds of reports through the years of whales swallowing
people. And there's, got it on video
now. Let's go back, see it one more time, just for, well, let's
do this. Jonah wasn't vomited back up
for three days and three nights. So that's a pretty scary thing
to think about and probably disgusting. Why did he do that? Again, just
like we were talking about in our Isaiah study, in our study
of the second path, the path of the second advent. the Jews
took a certain path coming from Egypt to the promised land, Joshua,
a type of Jesus, was leading them. And then we're finding,
as we in our studies showing, that that's the path Jesus is
gonna take when he comes into the atmosphere and lands the
Mount of Olives. Same thing's true about Jonah.
God didn't just, you know, willy-nilly three days and three nights.
He did that on purpose. Because later, Jesus would say,
just as Jonah, was in the well three days and three nights so
the son of man will be crucified and after three days and three
nights rise from the dead. See the picture? Well this guy
got barfed up just moments later. So you'll be glad to know. There
he is, swallowed and wait for it. These are my sound effects. The
well didn't do that. So look at that, swallowed And
then seconds later, and they interviewed the guy and he was
just, you know, he just didn't know what to say. I think one
thing he did say was, happy to be alive, I think was something
he said in his language. In another story, the Maori,
I can't do the tongue thing. In Auckland, New Zealand, they're
the aborigines, the natives. They've had enough of Sodom.
So this happened a couple of days ago. They were having a
rainbow parade and this is what. That's called a haka dance. They're
getting ready to do. Their shirts are about being
real men, real men. See that? Man up, is what their
shirts say. Another guy has one, real men,
behind him. Now I'm gonna show you this,
just so you see what... This is what's called a haka,
what they're doing right now. Or a heike, haake, or a heike. Isn't that something? Now, just for your info, that
is actually men from a church down there. These are Maori,
or however you pronounce it correctly, who have become Christians. And
then they took a group of men to do that Heka as a dance representing
true masculinity, being a real man. Non-violent, they didn't hurt
anybody, although it was pretty scary. Had to be scary. And you'd always see, you know,
you'd always see, back when Saturday Night Live used to be funny,
and it'd be, the girly man, what is wrong with you, you girly
man? So, the haka or heka is not a
Christian thing. but this was a Christian group
attempting to stand for masculinity and rebuke of Sodom. And so this
was in response, by the way, to a violent clash during a drag
event for children at the library there. And it was violent because
the Sodomites became violent and then there was a clash. And
so it's called Destiny Church. This is how the pro-sodomite
left-wing press reported it. Destiny Church's man-up storms
the Te Atatu library during drag artist's science show. That's in front of children,
perverting children is what they were doing. So good for them. And it's just so nice when your
leaders say exactly what you'd like to hear them say. For the
past four years, our leaders would go over and they'd say
things and online everybody would be like, that's not what Americans
believe. Don't blame that, that's just this administration, you
know, that kind of thing. Well, JD Vance went over to Munich
for a conference. And unfortunately, when I look
at Europe today, it's sometimes not so clear what happened to
some of the Cold War's winners. I look to Brussels, where EU
commissars warn citizens that they intend to shut down social
media during times of civil unrest the moment they spot what they've
judged to be, quote, hateful content. Or to this very country,
where police have carried out raids against citizens suspected
of posting anti-feminist comments online as part of, quote, combating
misogyny on the internet, a day of action. I look to Sweden,
where two weeks ago the government convicted a Christian activist
for participating in Koran burnings that resulted in his friend's
murder. And as the judge in his case
chillingly noted, Sweden's laws to supposedly protect free expression
do not in fact grant, and I'm quoting, a free pass to do or
say anything without risking offending the group that holds
that belief. And perhaps most concerningly,
I look to our very dear friends, the United Kingdom, where the
backslide away from conscience rights has placed the basic liberties
of religious Britons, in particular, in the crosshairs. A little over
two years ago, the British government charged Adam Smith-Connor, a
51-year-old physiotherapist and an army veteran, with the heinous
crime of standing 50 meters from an abortion clinic and silently
praying for three minutes. not obstructing anyone, not interacting
with anyone, just silently praying on his own. After British law
enforcement spotted him and demanded to know what he was praying for,
Adam replied simply it was on behalf of the unborn son he and
his former girlfriend had aborted years before. The officers were
not moved. Adam was found guilty of breaking
the government's new buffer zones law, which criminalizes silent
prayer and other actions that could influence a person's decision
within 200 meters of an abortion facility. He was sentenced to
pay thousands of pounds in legal costs to the prosecution. Now
I wish I could say that this was a fluke, a one-off crazy
example of a badly written law being enacted against a single
person, but no. This last October, just a few
months ago, the Scottish government began distributing letters to
citizens whose houses lay within so-called safe access zones,
warning them that even private prayer within their own homes
may amount to breaking the law. Naturally, the government urged
readers to report any fellow citizens suspected guilty of
thought crime. In Britain and across Europe,
free speech, I fear, is in retreat. Europe, including England, is
just completely swallowed by the spirit of Antichrist right
now. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I'll come back to you on
that because we want to point that out. But just before we
close up, did you see Senator John Kennedy's Valentine's message?
Martin, did you see this? It's a message that you'll appreciate. Folks, I believe that love is
the answer, but you ought to own a handgun just in case. Be informed, pray and act accordingly. Amen?
