We'd ride the church bus, we'd follow by the church, but my mother dragged us to church. And in Lansing, there's four or five preachers in my family. Most of them slaves, and they didn't mind, but my mother dragged us to church. And they taught me what's going on. Mother was wrong. And we would talk about the building, the ticket, how to build it, how to get it, how to set it up, how to build it. She'd push me back from the bench. I wouldn't know why, but she said, Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Yeah. Anybody else this morning? I've been a long time since you've testified. I'd get up this morning. I'd give the devil a black eye with my testimony. Get him off your back, shake and bait the snake. Anybody else? It's like a bath house. It's kind of like a therapy. It's in a bath house. It's got all the shapes. You can put your hand in it. You can put your arm in it. You can lean on the grass. You can lean on the dog. The tent pole. It is not in a bath house. It would be in a crab pool. About four and a half years ago. I'm not going to say. Except that I can say. Tell it. Tell it. Tell it. No, no, tell it. Amen. Amen. It's a long story, but sometimes it's the best way. It's as simple as that. It's the only way. She just, she didn't know how to distribute herself to everybody. But at the same time, she has this small, innocent little tear in her soul. Seth, how old were you when your daddy passed? Three months old. How many of you lost a dad or a mom when you were young? I'm sure I'm glad he's our heavenly father. He said, I'll be a father to the fatherless. Thank God he shows himself true in that respect day in and day out of my life. Anybody else that's been in? anybody else this morning. Let me say this for the benefit of every person in this room. What we've just experienced is God being real in some people's lives and them standing up just testifying. And I'm going to say this to some in here that may be lost and don't know about this. Jesus Christ died for your sins. He loved you that much. He became your sin. He became, you think about the worst of worst sins, adultery, murder. He became that. He became your sin, whatever it is, whatever it was. He became that on the cross of Calvary. He was made sin for us, the word of God says. He became your sin, but he became you on that cross and he died for you. They buried him, but I've got some great news for you. He got up out of the grave. He's alive and he's here for you today. If you need a savior, I can point you to Jesus Christ. and tell you he is the one that you need in your life. You're not going to find it in drugs. You're not going to find it in sex. You're not going to find it in alcohol. You're not going to find it in pleasures or money or prestige. You're going to find it only in Jesus Christ. Can I get a witness from God's people in this room? I want us all to stand this morning If you're here and you're not saved, I beg you, come to this altar and ask Jesus into your heart right now. Don't wait on, don't wait on anything else. You just get yourself to the altar and get yourself to Jesus. Call upon his mighty name. He'll save you, forgive you of everything that you've done in life and come into your heart and be your savior from this moment forward. But here's what I want us to do as a church. I want us to come down. I want us to pray for Diane. Is her name Diane? Diane Bennett. Yeah, Diane Bennett. That's Mike's mama. She fell and broke her hip and they found out and discovered some other things and she needs so much prayer today. And I want us to come and gather around and pray that God will be with them. Pray for these kids. These kids, God is working in these young people's lives right now. And I'm so thankful to be a witness of what God's doing in them. How many, I cannot tell you how many of these young kids have come to me personally, talked to me about Jesus. And little Liz came running down Wednesday night from being up there. Joe and Quita, I want y'all to know I'm not able to be up there, but I hear what y'all are doing. You are having a big impact on these kids. She came running downstairs. She said, Mom, I got to preach tonight. Woo. That's all right. Let her come down rejoicing. She was able to do something for Jesus. Amen. Amen. Let's gather around these altars. If you're needing Jesus Christ this morning, I want to ask you to come right now. Come, come, come, but church coming, let's pray. Y'all come on, let's pray. Is anybody here this morning? Heads are bowed, eyes are closed. Anybody here that would say, preacher, I need Jesus in my life? I want Jesus to save me. Oh, preacher, pray for me. I know I need Jesus in my life. Preacher, pray for me. Would you be willing to slip up your hand right now? Preacher, that's me. I know I need Jesus in my life, in my heart. I need him in my mind. I need him in my family. I need him. I need him. Would you be willing to slip up your hand right now and say, Preacher, that's me. You may already be at the altar. You may still be in your pew. But Jesus can reach you anywhere you're at. If you'd be honest with Him, be honest, Lord, in a real way. Anybody at all. Preacher, I know I need Jesus in my life. Here's my hand. I'm being honest with myself, being honest before God. I know I need Jesus. Anybody like that at all? Anybody? Anybody? Don't play games with this matter. Don't just take it lightly. The most serious moment of your life right now is Jesus in your life. Is Jesus your Savior? I've had questions for tomorrow. There's been times I didn't know right from wrong. But in every situation, God gave blessed consolation that my trials come only to make me strong through it all. Through it all, I've learned to trust in Jesus, and I've learned to trust in God. Through it all, through it all, Oh, I've learned to depend upon His Word. Yes, sir. Sing it with me. Yeah. You need to come this morning. You need to come to Jesus. Please, please don't take this lightly. If you need Jesus in your heart, He's here for you. He's here right now just for you. He'll be real to you and save your soul right now. He'll come to you. Through it all, through it all, I've learned to trust in Jesus, and I've learned to trust in God. Through it all, through it all, I've learned to depend upon His power. I've learned to trust in Jesus and I've learned to trust in God through it all. Have you learned that? Have you learned that in your life? Sing that chorus again. Through it all. Through it all. I've learned to trust in Jesus. And I've learned to trust in God. Through it all. I've learned to depend upon His Word. Maybe somebody else needs to say something. Anybody else got anything on your heart? Anybody? God been good to anybody in here? All the time. Anybody else? Yeah. Yes, ma'am. You're a true soldier of the Lord's, Mr. Bailey. You're somebody, you're a hero in the Christian world. You're a hero. You may be here this morning and what you've been witnessing this morning is just not real in your life. We're here for you. As Brother Clay said, you're in the best place you could ever be in. You're in God's house. And if you need Jesus in your life, we're here for you. You reach out to us. Let us talk to you. Don't keep that thing a secret. It's nothing to be ashamed of. It's something to come to Jesus about. So if you need Jesus in your life, we're here for you. You may need prayer for some other reason. Maybe you're saved, but you're just in a deep valley right now. There's people that are gathered around you and pray for you and do whatever they can for you. But don't leave this place empty. Don't leave this place discouraged. Let Jesus do something for you this morning.
