TRUE KNIGHTS IN A FEARFUL WORLD
TRUE KNIGHTS IN A FEARFUL WORLD. Micah 6:8; Joshua 1:9; Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)In a world marked by fear, confusion, and distorted ideas of strength, God calls His people to live as true knights—men and women shaped not by culture, but by His Word. This message reminded us that biblical courage and honor are not rooted in dominance or pride, but in obedience, faith, and Christlike humility.First, God defines true honor (Micah 6:8). Honor is not self-made or publicly awarded; it is found in walking humbly with God, doing justly, and loving mercy. True honor flows from alignment with God's character, not the approval of the world.Second, God commands courage over fear (Joshua 1:9). Courage is not the absence of fear, but the decision to obey God in spite of it. Because the Lord is present with His people wherever they go, believers are commanded to be strong and of good courage, trusting God's promises rather than surrendering to intimidation. Finally, God redeems chivalry through Christ (Ephesians 6:12). Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness. Through Christ, strength is redirected—from fighting people to standing firm in spiritual warfare, clothed in righteousness, truth, and sacrificial love. This lesson challenged us to reject counterfeit strength and instead live as faithful servants—true knights—who honor God, walk courageously, and stand firm in Christ in a fearful world.
