Names of God 44 - I Am the light of life 2

Jehovah presents the Lord Jesus, as the eternal God, without beginning or end. He is the great "I AM" of all time and eternity, wonderfully in charge of all His creation, working all things after the counsel of His own will. Here we look at our Savior's claim to be the resurrection and the life. All power and authority are His and He will raise all, both the lost and the saved, and He will be their judge. Our heavenly Father has borne witness as to why He sent His son to be the God man. His purpose is to give us eternal life, and He wants us to know that we have eternal life right now, having accepted His grace through Christ, through faith in His death, burial and resurrection for us. Scripture is clear about how we are to live, having been given the very life of our Lord Jesus Christ. Scripture reveals that not only do believers have life, we have the light of life.
