Thank you, sir. I want to thank
the Lord today for his many, many blessings. I tell you, I'm
thankful today the Lord don't give us what we deserve, but
he's very long-suffering, merciful to us. We're not willing that
any should perish, but all should come under repentance. I tell
you, he's died for the entire world. He gave his son that all
that believe in him should not perish, but have everlasting
life. And once you get saved, I tell you, we belong to God
and he loves us and he wants us to cleanse ourselves daily
from all filthiness of the flesh, striving to perfect wholeness
in the fear of God. It's a daily thing to cleanse
yourself, being in this old wicked world, being in this old body
that we're housed in, the flesh that we are housed in. I'm talking
about the outward man. When you really get saved, he
changes you on the inside. He puts the Holy Spirit of God
on the inside. He changes your nature. He gives you a new nature.
I'm talking about the spirit man. I'm talking about the inward
man. And I tell you that one day we're going to have a new
body. We're going to have a brand new life. But in this life, I
tell you, we're tempted on every hand. The devil's out to destroy. He's that roaring lion, walking
to and fro, seeking whom he may devour. He's my adversary today. He's the one I'm fighting against,
that and myself, the flesh. saying no to self and yes to
God. And I tell you, just examining myself and asking and praying
for wisdom that God would let me see and understand all that
I need to understand, that I may know the devil, that I may know
his tactics, that I may know how he comes against me, and
that I might fight a good fight. The Bible said we must fight
a good fight in the warfare. I tell you, Weapons of our warfare
he said are not carnal being mighty through God of pulling
down the strongholds and the devil works That's what he does.
He works on the mind to tear down the mind To take our minds
away from God and that's where he does but we must gird up the
loins of our mind being the Bible said Clear thinking, just thinking
on things above and not on things beneath, girding up the loins
of our mind and doing that which is pleasing in the sight of God. It's a daily thing and we must
fight a good fight, keep the faith. And I tell you, souls
are precious, souls are at stake. People are dying and sinning
going to hell and we that are saved we that are born again.
We know the truth We must get it out there to them. We must
tell them the Word of God We must let them know there's hope
that got that Christ died for their sins And he is the answer
to all of their problems. He will help them He will pull
them up out of the Puckmeyer sin and set them on the solid
rock, which is Christ He is the way that the truth and the life.
He is that rock. He's the rock of the church.
The church is built upon this rock. He's the rock. He's the
foundation of the church and of our lives. We that have saved
him, I tell you what, I love him today and I appreciate what
he did for me. how he died for my sins and how
he took my sin and bore my sins in his own body on the tree.
He did the same for you. And I'll tell you today, if you
want to get to heaven, you must trust him as your Lord and Savior.
You must repent. You must call upon his precious
name. The Bible said, with a heart
man believeth unto righteousness. And a malconfession is made unto
salvation. You must come, and you've got
to pour out your heart to Him. You've got to cry out from within,
from your total being. And if you want Him to save you,
if you're willing to turn from your sin, you're willing to live
for God. I mean, you're broke, you're
contrite, you're sorrowful. that you sin against God, then
that transformation will take place. When you call upon Him,
repent, He'll save you. When you confess your sins, He'll
forgive you. And He'll make you a new creature
in Christ. Old things pass away. Behold, all things will become
new to you. when you get saved. That's wonderful today. What
a wonderful promises that we have and there's hope for you
today. But today I want to read to you out of book of Acts chapter
4 and he talked about it was dealing and continuing on from
chapter 3 where he was talking about this man that was lame
and potent man that was laid there at the gate. The Bible
said the beautiful gate when Peter and John went up to the
temple at the hour of prayer he was there and he was there
often no doubt but the Bible said when He's seeing Peter and
John about to go into the temple. He asked them for alms and things
of that sort. He was needing help. And Peter
fastened his eyes upon them and said, look on us. And he gave
heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then
Peter said, silver or gold have I none, but such as I have, give
I thee. In the name of Jesus Christ of
Nazareth, rise up and walk. In the name of Jesus Christ,
rise up And I tell you they did this miracle here that God performed
through the hands of Peter here and John and the Lord lifted
this man up. He stood up and walked and entered
to the temple, walking and leaping and praising God for what he
had done. And all the people saw him walking
and praising God. They knew that it was this one
that was laid at the gate, that beautiful gate of the temple.
And the Bible said, this is the man, this is the lame man. And
when Peter and John went that way, then the Lord healed him.
And the people began to marvel at this and look on them like
they had some kind of power or some kind of something special
about them that this man was healed. But they began to tell
them that it was the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God
of Jacob, the God of our fathers, had glorified His Son Jesus. Yes, He has. He has glorified
His Son Jesus. Tell you I love Jesus. He's my
Savior. He's my all-in-all and he should
be glorified He should be lifted up and the Bible said if he'd
be lifted up He would draw all men unto him the Bible said here
that they delivered him up. I And he said, whom you delivered
up? He said, the one you delivered
up, the Lord Jesus, and denied him in the presence of Pilate,
when he was determined to let him go, you begin to say, away
with him, away with him, crucify him. And the Bible said, this
is the name, this is the power, this is the one, this is why
this man's made whole, because of what Jesus done. It's Jesus,
it's through him. And the Bible said, but you indeed,
the Holy One, But you denied the Holy One and the just, and
desired a murder to be granted unto you, and killed the Prince
of life, whom God had raised from the dead. Where are we,
our witnesses? And His name, through faith in
His name, had made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yea, the
faith which is by Him hath given this perfect soundness in the
presence of you all." He said, this is why this man's made whole. This is the reason. And he talked
about this and about, and they begin to ask by what power or
what name have this been done? And it's in the name of Jesus.
That's where it said, and the Bible said in chapter four here,
When they begin to go and you look at verse number 10, it says,
be it known unto you all and to all the people of Israel that
by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified,
whom God raised from the dead, even by him that this man stand
here before You hold. This is the reason this man is
made whole. And he did the same thing for
me. I was, I mean, spiritually speaking, I was lame. I was dumb. I mean, I was deaf. I mean, I,
I was just a pitiful shape. I couldn't help myself whatsoever.
I was lost. I was a sinner. And I tell you,
I was on my way to hell, but I'm so glad when I called on
Him, when I trusted Him, and I believed on the name of Jesus
Christ, and when I repented, when I confessed my sins to God,
and my heart was broken, I got saved. He changed me. He made
me new. He lifted me up. He pulled me
up out of the Puckmeyer sin. He gave my ankle bones strength.
I tell you, He caused me to leap and to praise and to glorify
the name of Jesus when He saved me. I tell you, that's something
wonderful today. I tell you, it's wonderful. I
mean, it's precious to you when you get saved, when you have
an experience with God like that. I tell you, that's what it's
all about. That's what salvation is. And you must experience that. He makes you brand new on the
inside when He saves you. And the Bible said in verse 11,
this is the stone which was set in all of you builders, which
has become the head of the corner. He said, the one you denied,
the one that you rejected, you desired a murderer instead, but
you said away with him, crucify him in the presence of Pilate.
He said, that's what you did. He said, but the stone, which
the Senate and all of you builders, you rejected the main stone,
the rock, the true foundation of eternal life and of life itself. He said, that's Jesus. He's the
stone and he's the one. denied him. I tell you, you deny
a good foundation. The Bible said that house is
going to fall and it's going to, I tell you, it's going to
grind you. It's going to take everything away and you will
have nothing to show for him. The Bible said here, that's exactly
where it was a man that built his house upon the sand. He didn't
build it upon the rock. He didn't build it upon the firm
foundation, which is Christ and so when the storm came when problems
came the Bible said great was the fall of that house But the
one that built this house upon the rock when the floods came
on the when the storms came it stood it had a firm Foundation
and that's the only way that you're gonna get to heaven. That's
the only way that you're going to have life is through the Lord
Jesus Christ. You cannot reject him and think
that you're going to have everything's going to go lovely with you and
you're going to escape the damnation of hell. You will not. You must
come through the door. You must come through Jesus.
And he went on to say that in verse 12, neither is there salvation
and any other, for there is none other name under heaven given
among men whereby we must be saved." It's through the Lord
Jesus. It's not through no one else.
It's not through Mohammed Allah. It's not through any other person
or man or religion that calls and says, this is the Christ
or this is the Messiah. It's the Lord Jesus. He is the
door that leads unto the sheepfold. And the Bible said if you try
to come up any way, you're going to be tried, you're going to
be dealt with, you're going to be like the thief and the robber,
cast out in that day. And so today the Lord says come
to Him. He's the door, He's the stone,
He's the foundation, the tried foundation, the firm foundation. And I tell you, it'll stand it
all. It'll stand it all. Thank God I'm saved. I'm eternally
saved. And I got the witness on the
inside. He sealed me with the Holy Spirit
of God. And I know when I die, I'm going
to heaven because what he did, Calvary. I tell you, that don't
give me a license to go and sin and act like a fool. I tell you,
I love the Lord. I have no desire to run with
the world and the sins of the world. I tell you, I got something
inside of me that's wonderful, that's precious, and I want to
serve Him and I want to please Him. And when you get saved,
that's the way it is. And I tell you, that's the way
it is. I've got eternal life in you. If you're saved, you
have eternal life. That's the only life he gives,
is eternal life. It is the gift of life. That's
what he gave, and he gave eternal life. What he does, he does it
right the first time. And I'll tell you, I'm so glad
to know that today, that I'm kept by the power of God, and
I'm sealed by the Holy Spirit of God. The Bible said, until
the day of redemption. I'm sealed until the day of redemption,
until I get out of this body. I already witnessed the redemption
of my first body, my life. I've already experienced it.
Experience is what I'm saying, but one day I'm gonna experience
fleshly. I'm gonna have a new body. I'm
gonna have a brand new life because this body can inherit the kingdom
of God. It's gonna go back to dust from
which it came, but yet there's a better day coming. Thank God.
Like my pastor's preached for years, he saved the best to last.
and one day we're going home. But while I'm here, while we
have time, when God says it's time to work, I'm ready to work.
I'm ready to run. I'm ready to fight. I'm ready
to do the Lord's will. God being my helper, I'm ready
to press on. The Bible said press on and the
song says press on for it won't be very long till we reach the
land of song. And I must press on. We must
press on, Christian friend, today. We must fight a good fight, and
we must do the work, and we must get out and win them, because
this coming of day was gonna be too late. And I believe we're
living in the last stage. It's getting darker and darker
in this world that we live in today. But one day is coming.
He's coming after the church, those that are redeemed, those
that are saved. And I hope and pray that you'll be in that number.
I hope and pray you'll trust him as your Lord and Savior.
and I hope you pray and confess your sins to God out of your
heart, out of the depth of your soul today, and then make your
peace call and relationship, but my time is quickly coming
gone. I hope and pray that you'll call
on and get somewhere by yourself and pray, but I love you and
I thank God for what he gave us today. God bless you in Jesus'
precious name, and amen.
