Every Member Ministry

I. The Church is a Priesthood of Believers in Christ.

II. The Church is the Body of Christ

1. Each member has been given the Holy Spirit as a power to service.

2. Each member has a spiritual gift.

3. Each member has a function to play.

4. Each member is necessary to the whole.

5. Each member is needed for the Body to grow and mature.

Why are not more people in ministry?

1. Disobedience and selfishness.

2. Spiritual laziness.

3. Loss of love for Christ.

How to get people involved in ministry to Service?

1. People need to know they are healthier spiritually when they serve.

2. People need to know that their marriages will be enriched.

3. People need to know that their children will be helped by serving as a family.

4. People need to know they will answer at the judgment seat of Christ for their work and stewardship.

5. People need to be asked and encouraged to serve.
