Setting the scene

We had a general overview of this book and of some of the things we are going to encounter. We looked at the scene to which this book was written. We also considered a little about the author and the audience of this book. We are anticipating see with the writer to the Hebrews - the excellencey of Jesus. Relied heavily on Stuart Olyott's excellent book - 'I wish someone would explain Hebrews to me'.
