Bethel Baptist Church, a dear brother. named Cecil Gray, moved me here. And he seemed to be so old to me, and I think he was in his fifties, but when he moved me here I thought, what is this old man doing here to move me? But he had a big, large truck and loaded up my furniture in ways I can't even describe how he loaded our furniture. I do remember our dresser coming in a dolly upside down, but he He moved us here, and he was a character. He was old. Well, he loved music, and he loved music. He loved baseball. I would go visit him. He had a big TV, and he'd be watching baseball. He'd be watching, you know, some gospel music, and he was a character. Those of us who've been here for, oh, 33 years, we remember Cecil and Bonnie Gray and just sweet, precious people. with the Lord now, and I miss him immensely. And I miss him. He would sit in the church, and he would say things. He would say things like, look out now. And he'd have this big, booming voice, look out now. Then he'd look around, see if anybody's looking at him like that. And he'd have a fun time. I'd tell a joke, and man, I mean, he'd get tickled. It'd be hard to get him back in the pew. And I know he prayed for us. He told me, he said, Pastor, I pray for you. Every morning, I pray for you, I pray for the devil to stay out of our church. And when the Lord called him home, Debbie and I both felt the deficit of his prayer life. We actually did. And I preached the message some many years ago, and he came to me after the message. And usually when someone comes to you after the message, it's not a good thing. But he came to me, and he said, Pastor, he said, you made me feel like I was sitting in church 50 years ago. That's the way they used to preach. That's the way it was given. I felt like we were back in 50 years ago, hearing preaching like that. Now many things have changed in the last 30, 40, and 50 years, but let me tell you something that hasn't changed, the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. That has not changed, and for many years the message has been proclaimed from pulpits around the world, from this pulpit here certainly, and the messengers have changed, the hearers have have changed, but the message has remained the same. I believe that the gospel should be given when we preach any message, and I think that we can do that whether we're preaching on faithfulness, whether we're preaching on the home, whether we're preaching on marriage and family, I think the gospel can be given, but I just feel this morning that we just should have a pure, simple gospel message. Now those of us who are saved and saved for a long time, we can say, I know all that, but let me tell you, we should never tire of the gospel. We should be grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ. And in Romans 10, we have this wonderful verse, verse 13, it says, for whosoever. I don't know what the Calvinist does with that, but God says, whosoever. Now let me tell you this, he died on the cross of Calvary for every sin. You name the sin, it can be lying, it can be murder, it could be homosexuality, you name the sin, whatever it is, let me tell you something, it was nailed to the cross of Calvary. Jesus paid the price for all sin. And we see here that it's very uncomplicated, it's very simple. let me say just a few things about the gospel and I'll be done this morning. First of all, let me say that God made salvation all-inclusive. There's no one that that is excluded. I always compare it to Sam's Club and I'll go into Walmart or I'll go into a store without thinking but I get to Sam's Club sometimes I got to go back to the car to the truck to get my membership card so they'll let me in. Usually I'm with Debbie and she gets me in with her card. But let me tell you something, heaven is open for all who will come to Jesus Christ and confess their sins. He says, for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Why is salvation all-inclusive? Let me say It's all-inclusive because we're all sinners. There's none of us that have done good, no not one. No matter what the person may be, no matter what the station of the person's life might be, no matter what their family background might be, no matter how moral of a good person they might be, the scriptures clearly tell us in Romans 3 verse 10, as it is written, there's none righteous, no not one. There's not any of us here that are so good that we don't need our sins forgiven. I mean it doesn't matter who you are, where you've come from, what you've done, where you're at, the salvation of God is there for you. We're reminded Romans 3 verse 23, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Every man has sinned, every woman has sinned, every child is a sinner. We are children of the devil, we are born children of hell. From the beginning, David said, in sin was I conceived. We are the children of Adam, and we need forgiveness of our sins. I want you to just think about it. He said, oh, look at this. Look, I always think of the Rhodes family when I do this illustration. Oh, look at this precious little baby. Oh, their first child. And I enjoyed watching them. Didn't you enjoy watching the Rhodes family with their first child? Their first child. Just their first child right now. And looking there at Abby and enjoying her. But let me tell you something. She's just a little devil. You know, I mean, she's sweet as can be, but she, you know, she's going to wake you up at 3 o'clock, and she wants a feeding, and she wants her way, and it's all her. She's a selfish person. She's a narcissistic little child, and she wants her way. She wants up these steps. No matter how many times you tell her no, she's going to climb these steps. She's just a little sinner. And you don't talk to your kids before you put them in the nursery. You don't tell them that if somebody takes your toy away from your nursery, you pick up another one and crank them in the head with it. It just comes natural, doesn't it? You don't have to give them kung fu lessons in the nursery. I mean, that ugliness is there in them. We are born sinners. And I always have, well, I don't always, but I've had parents before, you know, they don't like that illustration. But I just want you to know, there's no such thing as terrible twos. They're terrible when they're born. They're just not mobile. They're not able to get over there. But they're laying there and just a little, diaper and a onesie, and they're thinking, when I get two, I want to break that ashtray. When I get two, I'm going to break that lamp. When I get two, I'm pulling those curtains down. But right now, I can't do it. You say, how do you know this? Are you a professional with children? Yes, yes, I am. I'm glad that you asked that. Now understand this, we're born sinners. We have a sin problem, and you know that you do, and all have sinned, and sinning is falling short, comes short of the glory of God. We have fallen short. How short have we fallen? Ten commandments short. Say, now wait a minute, wait a minute, I haven't murdered anybody, thou shalt not kill, I haven't killed anybody, wait a minute, thou shalt not commit adultery, I have not committed adultery, have you bared false witness? Have you told a lie? Come on now, have you told a lie? And Jesus said, what did he say about the commandments? That if you're an offender at one point of the law, you're an offender of all ten, is what he says. We need a Savior. And God has made salvation all-inclusive because we're all sinners. And then also, he has made salvation all-inclusive because all of us must die. We're going to die one day. We're dying daily. Every day we're dying. The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 9 verse 5, For the living know that they shall die. Understand this, when I was a child, I didn't think about death. I thought I'd live forever. When I came to this church back in 1989 and I met Brother Gray, I thought, man, he is so old. I was a young guy. He is so old. He's not that old today, is he? And man, look, they sent this old guy here to move us. I hope he can do it. And he did it in the Cecil Gray way, but he got it done. and those who I love. I didn't think about them dying. I wasn't thinking about them dying. Now I know that then I was a young child, but I know better now, and there's no fantasies about it. Let me tell you, we're all dying a little bit every day, and we need to be prepared to meet God. Salvation is all-inclusive because we're all sinners and because we're all, one day, we're gonna die. Someone has said, There's two things that are for sure, paying taxes and dying. That's really not accurate because there's some people who have found a way of getting out of paying taxes. But I want you to know this, we're all going to die one day. God told Hezekiah in 2 Kings 20 verse 1, in those days was Hezekiah sickened to death. And the prophet Isaiah, the son of Amos, came to him and said unto him, thus saith the Lord, set thy house in order, for thou shalt die and not live." Now, I'm not a morbid kind of guy. If you know me, you know my cup is half full, it's not half empty. I think that's very true if you know me well. But I want you to know, neighbor, we're going to die one day. And we're not guaranteed to live a long life. Some of you teenagers, you may not live a long life and be 50. We have this concept, I'm young and I have it all going on. You don't know there are young people. Listen, there are teenagers who die every day. and we need to be prepared to meet God. And so we see that God's salvation, it is all-inclusive because we're all sinners, because we must die, and because all of us must stand before the judgment of God one day. We're accountable to God. Now you find the atheist, the Bible says, the fool has said in his heart, there is no God. The atheist wants to dismiss God because he has this feeling that if there is no God, then there's no judgment, there's no accountability. I'll just live my life, I'll do the debauchery things that I want to do, I'll do whatever I want to do, and I'll be guilt-free, and it's a matter of opinion, and I'll live this way, and when I die, they'll put me in the ground, the worms will come and eat my body, and life will end for me, and there's no hereafter. But let me tell you, there is a hereafter. The Bible speaks about the rich man who lifted up his eyes in torments from the flames, seeing Abraham afar off, being comforted. in the bosom of Abraham. He cries out to Father Abraham and he says, please, please help me. Just give me just a drop of water off of your face. Can you imagine? Just a drop. Here's a rich man who was very sumptuously every day, the Bible says, dressed in fine fine clothes, and he had the best of everything. All he's wanted is just a drop of water. Boy, what would he give for just a bottle of water? Can you imagine this? He's crying out. He's so, so desirous for this. He thinks of himself, and Abraham says, there's a great gulf that you can't go back and forth. And then he begins to pray out for his five brothers. I have five brethren who are going to come to this terrible place. they're I'm sure they're living his life he was a great example to them how they should not live and how they should not face God and he said send Lazarus and let him go back and warn my five brethren Abraham said they have the prophets and the scriptures, they have the Word of God, and he said, oh no no, they would believe one raised from the dead. Let me tell you something, Jesus Christ was raised from the dead and people don't believe today. And we see here that there's a time of judgment in Hebrews 9 verse 27, and as is appointed unto man wants to die, but after this the judgment. There is an appointment we will keep. Now you may be tardy, you may be late, you might be slow in making some appointments, you might be late for church, you might be late for your dental appointment, if you are I understand that, but you might be late for that, and you might be in the parking lot just kind of mustering up courage to go inside. get it done. You might be late, but I want you to know when it comes time for us to die, none of us are going to be late. There's an appointment unto man once to die, and then after this is a judgment. We will stand before God accountable. Now let me make it clear. there's two judgments. The judgment of the save will not find condemnation in that judgment. There will be a loss of reward. We'll be sorrowful that we didn't serve God and didn't do what God would have us to do. There'll be a loss of reward. I believe this will happen right after the rapture is when I believe it's going to take place. I'm not saying I know everything, but I think that's when it's going to happen for the save. But let me tell you, at the end of all of this, at the end of the tribulation period, when the devil is, he'll be put into a pit for a thousand years, and there'll be the millennium reign, but at the end of that, the devil will be released, and all those who have been caught and held in torment will come before God at the great white throne of judgment, he'll say, depart from me for I never knew you, they'll be band hand and foot and thrown in to the lake of fire. Understand this, this is not reader's digest, this is what God's Word says. We should understand this, there is a judgment and just as sure as death is, so is the judgment. There is no escaping either one. We will die and we will stand before God accountable and that's why salvation is all-inclusive. I think of the prophet Amos who warned Israel, Amos 4 verse 12 said, therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel, and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel. Preparation must be made for death. Regardless of what Hollywood says, regardless of what other people say, I'm thinking of a dear pastor friend of mine, who has a tremendous family, a great history of walking with Christ and serving the Lord. And he was speaking about his father, and his mother was going to die very soon. And she had, I believe, a cancer that was, her time was limited. And his father spoke to his son and said, I must prepare your mother to meet God. Now, I don't know exactly what was there, but evidently it was very clear. Not only was he her husband, but he was her pastor. And as the pastor, he has to prepare people to meet God. Now, God's made his gospel message all-inclusive. because all of us have sinned, because all of us will die, and because all of us one day will stand before God in judgment. Only those who have put their faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ will be ready to meet God. Let me ask you this morning, are you ready to meet God? Please don't just excuse yourself and please don't be presumptuous to think that you've got all kinds of time. Are you ready to meet God? Have you had that spiritual awakening where you've cried out to God and said, God, I'm a sinner, and I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins, and I cry out to you today, dear God, forgive me of my sins and save my soul and take me to heaven. Have you done that? Do you know for sure you're going to heaven? Because let me tell you this, Jesus suffered greatly, because of our sins, because we're going to die, and because one day we'll stand before God accountable. Secondly, may I say this, God made salvation simple. In verse 13 of Romans 10, it says, shall call upon the name of the Lord." How simple is that? How simple? Now it's man who's made salvation difficult. It's man. It began with Cain in the garden. When he came to worship, he brought his best works. He brought the best of his garden. He came with that, and God greatly rejected it. It infuriated Cain, and instead of shedding the blood of a lamb, he shed the blood of his brother out of anger. And ever since men have become sinners, there's been the way of Cain, who's trying to atone some way for their sins. You know, let me do these humanitarian works, let me feed the hungry, let me clothe those who need clothing, let me house those who need housing. Let me do these things. And there are people who do great works and honorable works that are wonderful things. But let me tell you, we can't do enough works to eradicate our sin. It's not like our sin and our good works are way. Well, I just believe when I get to heaven, my good works are going to outweigh my sins. I've had people tell me that. How ridiculous is that? Listen, our good works will never outweigh our sins, but even if it could, we don't need to outweigh our sins. We need our sins eradicated. and only the blood of Jesus Christ will do that. You see, man makes salvation difficult. They place restrictions on the gospel. Some will say only certain people can be saved when the Bible tells us whosoever. Some will say that you must join their church and be saved. You must follow their observances or their ordinances in order to be saved. Unless you've been baptized in my church, unless you take the Lord's Supper at my church, then you can't be saved. Some will say until you speak in tongues, you're not saved. Some will say that you must prove yourself unto God, and once you prove yourself worthy, then he'll save you. There's all kinds of things that men say, but let me say that the salvation of God is simple. It's been made simple, and let me make it clear, it's not simple doesn't mean easy. Salvation is not easy. It wasn't easy 2,000 years ago when Jesus died for our sins. It wasn't easy when he was flayed with the cat o' nine tails. It wasn't easy when they put the crown of thorns on his head. It wasn't easy when they plucked the beard from his face. It wasn't easy when the Bible says they buffeted him, they blindfolded him, and they buffeted him over and over and over, and they said, prophesy, O king of the Jews, who is it that buffeteth thee? It wasn't easy when they drove the nails in his hands. It wasn't easy when they drove the nail through his feet. It wasn't easy when the chief priest was walking back and forth of his cross, wagging his head, saying, you've saved others, save yourself. If you're truly the Son of God, come down from the cross. That wasn't easy. Don't think that salvation is easy, but I want you to know God has made salvation simple. Romans 10 verse 9 and 10, he says, For thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt believe in thy heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. He said if we believe in our heart Not some kind of superficial belief, but, you know, that would benefit others. Not some kind of a head knowledge that we understand with our heads, but a genuine faith and trust in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ. Can you say amen? You see, he said, act on that faith and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. And he says in Romans 10, 13, for whosoever shall call. You need a call in the name of the Lord. Well, you know, I talk to people, do you know for sure you're going to heaven? I've been baptized. Wrong answer. Do you know for sure you're going to heaven? I'm a member at such and such Ebenezer Baptist Church. Wrong answer. Do you know for sure that you're, well, I think my good works will outweigh my bad works. Wrong answer. You see, you can have a head knowledge, you can have this superficial belief but until it's in your heart that you know by faith you confess Lord I'm a sinner and Jesus you're the Son of God who paid for my sins forgive me of my sins we must call upon the name of the Lord he said to call upon the name of the Lord the call it means to cry out it means to pray and we need to call upon him and accept his free gift of salvation. That's right, I said free. Ephesians 2 verse 89, for by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. Oh, there are those in that day who will stand before God in judgment, and they'll talk about the works that they've done. They'll talk about the churches maybe that they have built. They'll talk about all the money they did to help missions. They'll talk about all the works that they've done, and he'll say, depart from me, ye that work iniquity, I never knew you." Understand this, if I could do anything to receive salvation, it would mean that Jesus wasn't enough. And when Jesus died on the cross, he said, Tetelestai, it is finished, and there's not anything we need to add to it. Lastly, let me say that we talk about the gospel, God made salvation all-inclusive, God made salvation simple, even a child can understand, and God made salvation sure. He made it sure. He tells us, for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, here it is, shall be saved. That is sure. You see, there's no doubt about it. He didn't say that we might be saved. He didn't say that we could possibly be saved. He said that we shall be saved. His forgiveness of our sins. Psalm 103 verse 12 says, as far as the east is from the west, I never get weary of that. So far hath he removed our transgressions from us. I never get weary of it. I never get weary of preaching it. I never get weary of illustrating it. East and west. If you're going east, you're going east and you never intersect west. West, if you're going to go west, young man, if you go west, you never intersect east. You go North so far, you're gonna come South eventually. You go South so far, you'll come North. And he says that when he's forgiven our sins, he has cast them as far as the East is from the West. God's promised to have compassion on his people and to cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. Micah 7, verse 19. He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us, he will subdue our iniquities, our sins, and thou will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea." I've been out in the ocean. I've been out a long ways. I've not been out like the Navy, but I've been 300 miles out in the ocean. I've been out where you can't see anything but water, and it's deep, let me tell you. And every time I read this, I think of Corrie ten Boom, the great Christian lady who, there in Holland, who hid the Jews, who helped hide the Jews behind the false wall. Her father perished. Last time she saw her father, the Gestapo, the Germans were putting him, throwing the old man, watchmaker, in the back of a truck. She looked through the window one day of the slaughterhouse for Jews, and she saw these women all piled up just like animals, and she saw her sister Betsy there. You ought to read The Hiding Place. I guarantee if you're a child of God, you can't read it without weeping. You ought to read it. You ought to read it because it'll tender your heart. And she said this, from Micah chapter 7 verse 10, I will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. She says, God has taken my sins and he's plunged them into the deepest sea and there floats a buoy that says no fishing allowed. I like it. I like it. You see, there's no doubt about it, we are placed into the family of God. Notice, when we get saved, we're sure, he tells us in John 1 verse 12, but as many as receive him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. In 1 John verse 3 verse 2 says, beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. Galatians 3 verse 26 says, for ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. We're in a family, the family of God. There's a song about that. I'll give you grace today and not sing it for you. But something about, I'm so glad I'm a part of a family of God. Amen. Join heirs with Jesus. I like it. I sing that when I'm driving, I don't say amen, I just blow my horn. Amen. The choir sings that God is a rock. I wanna get up and run around the building, but my cane won't stay up with me, so I don't do it. Understand this. Some of you have gotten over your salvation. Shame on you. Don't you think that you deserved it? Because you don't, you deserve hell. So do I. Grace is unmerited favor, and that's what God has given us through his son. We receive eternal, everlasting life, listening to these words of the Savior in John chapter five, verse 24. Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word and believeth on him that sent me hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death unto life. And God's people said, amen. In John chapter 10, verse 28, the Bible says, and I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. God made salvation sure. We have his word on it, we have his written guarantee. in the scripture. Now let me finish. He says, whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. This is a message that's going out across the world with missionaries. It's been preached all over the world, believing the message and receiving Christ has brought salvation to multitudes of people. They know that they're going to heaven, but this morning, do you know that? Are you certain of that? If you were to die, do you know for certain that heaven's your home? Some have gone to other ways and different messages, but I want you to know the gospel message. While messengers have changed and while those who hear the messages have changed, the message is the same. We need to commit ourselves to accomplishing the task that God has set before us of getting the gospel out. Now, I don't always, or seldom perhaps, do I preach a whole message on a Sunday morning on just the gospel. But I felt this morning, the Spirit of God just moved me and said, just give the simple gospel, the simplicity of the gospel. Many years ago, I worked for UPS in Memphis, Tennessee. during my Bible college days. And I worked there with a lot of people who were just so lost and vile, some of them extremely vile. And I would be there and I would begin to witness to people and tell them about the love of God. And on the left of me, there is a dear guy who would say, Rick, He said, don't you know you gotta be baptized? They say it differently, don't they? We say baptized, they say baptized to go to heaven. And I pulled over there in 1 Corinthians 1 where Paul says, I baptize none. except for Gaius and the household of Stephanus. For God has not called me to baptize, but to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ." And boy, I hair-lift him. I mean, I put a clip on his mouth. He looked at that, and then he started giving by illustration. He said, no, wait a minute. Wait a minute. He said, remember when you got down in the baptistry, how filthy and dirty you were with sin? and how burdened down you were and how terrible it was. And remember, and then you came up out of the water, glory to God, and you're sinning. I said, no, no, no. I said, what can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Oh, precious is that flow. What is it? No other fount I know, nothing but the blood of Jesus. I gave it to him. There again, I clipped his lips. there's a guy down here who was listening to us and I began to talk with him and he said you telling me that God can forgive my sin I said absolutely he said if I were to jump out they always come with this stuff he's never going to jump out of a plane if I were to jump out of a plane and if I was being hurled towards earth with all of my sin all the things that I have done and I cried out in true repentance and asked God to forgive me Before I went splat on the earth, would I go to heaven? I said, absolutely. On the authority, can you say amen? Amen. On the authority of the word of God. He says, that's just too easy. I said, oh no, it's not easy. It's simple. And I talked about Jesus going to the cross. And it took a little while. First, I led his wife, who was a registered nurse, I led her to the Lord. She didn't have a Bible, I gave her mine. I said, I want you to have a good Bible. I gave her mine. And then later, he was born again and received Christ. Can I tell you this? Don't be jumping out of planes. People who jump out of perfectly good planes, there's something wrong with them. Don't do that. But if you were with all your sin and you truly took time to get right with God and ask for forgiveness. He'd forgive you. Are you prepared to meet God? Would you think about that this morning? I want you. It's an urgent message to you. I'm ashamed to say, but I've had to go before the judge a couple times in my life. You know, I have a little bit of a lead foot. You know, I'm not always been 66, but I had a little bit of a lead foot. And I've had to go before the judge. I've had to go before the judge over a couple other things. He said, what was that about? None of your business. But I know this. One of the things is we didn't have child restraints, car seats. And I had to go before the judge. And I asked a police friend, I said, how? And I had to go before a woman judge. And I thought, oh, that's going to be worse. What kind of a father are you? I could hear it. And I asked the police, for instance, what should I do? He said, You should have receipts that you've got child restraints that car seats when you go in there. And I did. And the judge was most gracious. But you know what? It was trepidatious for me. It was. It was. It was. I had anxiety going before the judge. You know why? Can I tell you why? Because I was guilty. That's why I was guilty. Reminds me of a young lawyer who saved a kid one time from drowning. From drowning. Saved his life. And years had passed by and this young lawyer had become a judge. And this young child had become a thug. And he was arrested and was brought before the judge. And he looks closely, he catches the name. He tells the judge, judge, you may not recognize, you may not remember. He said, but you saved me one time. You saved me. I was drowning and you saved me. And the judge looked at him and said, young man, I do recognize you. He says that day I was your savior, but today I am your judge. And can I end with this? God so much today wants to be your savior. But if you reject him, you tell him no, he will most certainly one day be your judge in the courthouse. There's no room for mercy and grace. It's a place of justice. We get what we deserve. Are you prepared to meet God? It's simple. It's all inclusive. It's there. If you'll come and receive him, would you stand with me? Father, I thank you for your love and for your word. Oh, dear God, help us, help us to take great contemplation, thinking about what we've heard. We've heard the truth today. God, meet our needs today. Help us. Lord, save the loss. And then, Lord, those who are uncertain, who are unsure, Lord, help them. Would you help them? Get it settled today. Salvation is sure, and they need to know that it is. Heads about eyes are closed. If you're here this morning, you say, Pastor, I've been born again. I have a spiritual relationship with God. I had that spiritual awakening. I know heaven's my home. I know it. If I were to die, be ushered into heaven, I would see my heavenly father. I'm part of the family. I'm the sons of God. Would you raise your hand? I know these things. Wonderful. If you're here this morning with heads bowed and axles, no one's looking. And if you would allow me to pray for you, I would love to. I love to. I won't embarrass you. I won't come to you. I won't engage in conversation. I just will pray. If you want to talk about it, I'd be glad to talk with you about it. But you initiate the conversation. But surely I can pray for you. If you're here this morning, you see, Pastor, I wish I had that assurance. And can I say this? I'm speaking from my heart because I struggled so much with this from age 11 to 15. It wasn't until I went to a preacher and he opened the Bible that I got it settled. It's been settled ever since. But if you're here this morning, say, Pastor, I have some doubts where I'd spend eternity. I want to go to heaven. Nobody wants to go to hell. I want to go to heaven. Would you please pray for me? I have some confusion, and I'd love to know for sure. With heads bowed and eyes closed, would you raise your hands and say, Pastor, just pray for me? I'm not certain. I'm not sure. I want to go to heaven. I have doubts. Anyone like that at all? Lord, I thank you for your word. for your truth. I pray those who are listening live stream, uh, you deal with them right where they're setting and meet their needs and Lord help those of us who are born again. Never get weary or tired of the gospel of Jesus Christ that saved us and made us whole. Bless our invitation today. Bless our church. Pour out your spirit upon our church. meet our needs today. In thy name, I pray. Our heads are bowed and eyes closed. God spoken to your heart. We invite you to come as we play the invitation hymn. You come now.
