He said he gave his life to set me free. Oh yes God, Jesus spoke to me. I then was blind, but now I see. Alright, it's good to be in church this morning. Amen. We'll go ahead and get to the announcements. Nursing home at 2.30 today. Pray for Pastor Andrew as he'll be preaching. And then also coming up is our youth rally and winter revival. So pretty excited about that. Police plan to be here. It's going to be February 7th and 8th. And then our winter revival will be the 9th through the 12th. And there should be a postcard or something to give you the times and all that. The Buster, Kenzie, and the Thrun family will be here with us. So police plan on being here for that. We also are asking anybody that can to bring canned drinks and wrapped desserts for the youth rally. So like the Little Debbie cakes and just some canned sodas. If you could bring that in, it'd be helpful for the youth rally. Also, we're going to be moving our Wednesday night service on the 19th. So just keep that in mind. The 19th of February, we're going to be moving our Wednesday night service to Faith Baptist in Cordova. They're having their Jubilee there that week, so we're going to move our service over there to support them. It's always usually a good meeting over there. Our annual men's meeting is April the 3rd through the 5th. Please pray about trying to attend that. It's going to be ages 13 and up. I think we passed out the flyers last week, but I don't see any. Yeah, if anybody wants any more information about that, there's fliers on the back table. It's just that Thursday night, Friday, and Saturday, I believe. So please pray about trying to attend. I know last year was a really good meeting. And then also, Wednesday, we'll have our prayer and Bible study at 6.30 p.m. So please be here for that if you can. All right, if you'll stand and grab your hymn books, Brother Carl will lead us in a song. Alright, let's turn to page number 173. 173. If Jesus goes with me, I'll go anywhere. I appreciate you being here. Brother Nick gave out the bulletins earlier, so look through there and remember those announcements. We don't typically go over a whole lot of prayer requests on Sunday mornings, but I do have a few that I want to mention. briefly to the church. One of them is Garrett McGahee. We were praying for him. He was down in Honduras on a missions trip, fell through a roof, had some brain damage and some back issues, and they had to medivac him out. There was weather issues. During that time, Pensacola saw more snow than they've seen in a long time, and so they had to delay it a few days, but they did get him to Pensacola. He did have the surgery, and they said everything went really well, and he was actually sitting up yesterday. From what I understand I talked to his dad this morning, so we praise the Lord for that keep praying I'm sure it'll be a long recovery, but man Wonderful how the Lord's worked already in that situation keep praying for my dad. He's continuing chemo and radiation He's losing hearing in both of his ears and he's going to the ENT tomorrow and uh we're just praying that maybe it's something that uh I guess the radiation can clog up the earwax and and make things harder to hear so there he's going to go tomorrow so pray about that uh that that'll get cleared up. Sister Erica's grandmother passed away And I forgot to put that on the list here for us to pray about, but her grandmother passed away. And so their family's down there. I believe they're doing some kind of memorial service tomorrow or Tuesday. And so you please pray for their family as well. And there's always much to pray about church. So please remember each other in prayer. But we also have praise reports. Brother Nick got a job. Amen. Praise the Lord. We can take them off the bum list. And so he's going to be starting here in a few weeks. You pray for him in his new job. And I'm praying the Lord will increase him and will will give him favor at his work. Amen. Just like I would pray for anybody here. So we are going to continue to pray for that. Also, Sister Artman, her. Is it your nephew, Tom? His nephew, Tom, has cancer and is not doing well. I believe he's on hospice now. Right. And he's not saved. And there's a lot of folks we have on our list that are not saved. So on your prayer list, I added it to salvation. He does have cancer and he's on hospice. And I know that is a burden upon her heart and should be ours as well, that he doesn't have much time left. And he can get cured from cancer, but man, if not being saved, that's an awful, awful thing. So please, if you would, our church, make that a matter of prayer. She's trying to be a witness to him. He doesn't want anything to do with it. Doesn't want to hear it. But the Holy Spirit can be very convincing. So we're praying for conviction. So you please pray for Tom. I don't even know if I'll be able to pronounce the last name. What? Kenackie. All right, Kanacki. I was going to say no antsy or something. So you pray for Tom. Kanacki, pray for Tom. But he needs to be saved, man. We got a lot of folks that are on our list for cancer and sickness, and thankfully, just about everybody on there for cancer and sickness is saved. And so that's a relief, no matter what you're going through, it's a relief that you're going to heaven if it all ends. But knowing somebody's not saved, that's so hard to deal with. So please, you pray for their hearts and also pray for him for salvation, all right? Okay, does anybody else have a testimony or something they'd like to mention? Yes, ma'am. It's Julia. Praise the Lord. Wonderful. Amen. Anybody else? All right, kids, bring your Bibles. You come. And I want to talk about the blood for a few minutes this morning. What a wonderful subject, the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Peter chapter 1 and verse number 17. We'll find our place there. We'll probably maybe turn to one other place or so. I like preaching expository where I just stay in a text to kind of go through there. This is a little bit different. This is a topical message on the blood of Christ, so we might go to a couple of other passages. But 1 Peter chapter 1 and verse number 17. If you're there, say Amen. The Bible said, and if ye call on the Father, I'm thankful that we have a Father we can call on at any given time. If ye call on the Father who without respect to persons judgeth according to every man's work past the time of your sojourning here in fear. For as much as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things as silver and gold for your vain conversation received by traditions from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot, who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you. who by him, that's what they just sang about, it was by him do believe in God that raised him up from the dead and gave him glory that your faith and hope might be in God. It's all because of the blood. What Jesus did for us on Calvary, verse 19 again said, But with the precious blood of Christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. We live in an age today where it's considered offensive language to talk about the blood in Calvary. I mentioned this back at the time of Resurrection Sunday where churches were celebrating Easter and Resurrection Sunday. There's very, very popular churches that release statements saying that none of their material that they sent out about Easter and none of the service itself would mention Calvary, or the blood, or crucifixion, or death, the burial, and resurrection. But I'm telling you this morning, there's no salvation outside of the blood of Jesus Christ and the death, the burial, and resurrection. And so as the New Age churches and movements are moving away from that kind of language, we need to stand even more firm upon the blood, the book, and the blessed hope, and take a stand for those things. What we just read here in the Bible is confirmed over and over again through all of Scripture. The blood of Christ is precious. That word precious means of great price, held in honor, esteemed, and especially dear. And as a child of God this morning, as a saved person, as a church that's been bought by the blood of Christ, I want to say that His blood is precious. His blood is precious. It's not only highly esteemed or should be highly esteemed by you and I, but it is held in high regard and of infinite value to God the Father. We see the blood of Christ as a redemption, as a price paid. I'm telling you, God sees the blood of Christ as the payment for the wages of sin. And he views the cross of Calvary different than we do. There's a picture, you can find it online, but whenever we see pictures of the cross, we have it here, the three crosses, we see it from this view, but there's a picture online that somebody had a view from heaven looking down on the cross, and it looks a little different. And I'm telling you, Jesus Christ and what He did for us on the cross, it is precious. It ought to be precious to you. It ought to bother you when you hear that people do not want to talk about the blood. Or when they do talk about the blood, they degrade it and say that it's no different than pig's blood as that happened many years ago with a false preacher. It's a dangerous place to be in. We could never gauge how much and how much we owe to Him for what He did for us on the cross of Calvary. It's through the blood that we have what we have. It's through the blood that we do what we do in trying to please the Lord. And I want to preach for just a few minutes this morning on, it's through the blood. It's through the blood. First of all, in thinking about it's through the blood, I want to look at the neglecting of the blood. The neglecting of the blood. We find throughout our Bible, there's a red strain. All the way from Genesis, all the way to Revelation, the blood of Christ is pictured in every single book. In some way or another, in every book of the Bible, there's a picture of Christ and His redeeming sacrifice. The Old Testament saints couldn't always see it, they didn't always understand it, but we have the full canon of Scripture and we can see it clearly. The theme of Christ's blood is woven throughout all of Scripture. It's there from beginning to end. It's often represented symbolically or a foreshadow or a type or a picture, the sacrifices, the prophetic imagery, but it's found all through Scripture. And I hope this doesn't bore you, but hang on just a minute. I'm going to go through every book of the Bible and tell you how Jesus Christ and His sacrifice and redeeming blood is pictured in every book of the Bible. I'm not going to give you the verses. If you want them later, I'll send you my notes. In the book of Genesis, the blood sacrifice when God clothed Adam and Eve with animal skin was seen. And there's many other in Genesis as well. In Exodus, he's pictured by the Passover lamb on the doorpost. In Leviticus, he's pictured as the blood sacrifices in the temple. In Numbers, he's pictured as the water and blood purification rituals In Deuteronomy, he's pictured as the blood sprinkled on the altar. In Joshua, he's pictured by Rahab's scarlet cord hung out the window. In Judges, he's pictured by Gideon's offering of blood sacrifice. In the book of Ruth, he's pictured as the kinsman redeemer, as we see in Boaz. In 1 and 2 Samuel, he's pictured as the blood sacrifices offered by Samuel and David. In 1 Kings and 2 Kings and 1 and 2 Chronicles, We see the temple sacrifices that picture Him. In the book of Ezra, we see the reestablishment of blood sacrifices on the rebuilt altar. In Nehemiah, we see the covenant sealed with sacrifice. In Esther, we see the willingness to intercede at the cost of a life. And that's exactly what Christ did for us. In the book of Job, we see Him offering sacrifice for His children. In the book of Psalms, We see the prophetic references to Christ's sacrifice in that great chapter of Psalms, chapter 22. In Proverbs, wisdom cries out for life. And that's what Christ did for us on the cross of Calvary. In Ecclesiastes, we see that life is nothing without redemption. In the Song of Solomon, we see the bridegroom's love for the bride. In Isaiah, we see the suffering servant who is pierced. We see in Jeremiah the new covenant written in blood, in Lamentations the prophet weeping over sin, and we see the cost of redemption. In Ezekiel we see the vision of cleansing, in Daniel the Messiah being cut off, in Hosea redemption through love, in Joel the outpouring pouring of the Spirit of God. In Amos, the altar of judgment. In Obadiah, deliverance from judgment. In Jonah, we see three days and three nights in the heart of the earth, just like our Savior. In Micah, we see the ruler of Bethlehem. In Nahum, we see God's vengeance poured out upon his son. Habakkuk, we see the righteous live by faith. In Zephaniah, God's judgment and mercy. Haggai, the rebuilding of the temple. In Zechariah, the fountain opened for sin. In Malachi, the son of righteousness, risen, amen, risen again. In Matthew, we see the Last Supper, and there's many in the Gospels. In Mark, we see the cup of the covenant. In Luke, We see Christ's sweat like blood in Gethsemane. And John, we see blood and water coming forth from Christ's side. In Acts, we see redemption through His blood. We see the purchase of the church in the book of Acts. In Romans, there's justification by His blood. In 1 and 2 Corinthians, we see the cup of blessing as we partake of the Lord's Supper. In Galatians, we see redemption from the curse. In Ephesians, we see redemption through His blood. In Philippians, we see Christ's humility in His death. In Colossians, we see peace through His blood. In 1 and 2 Thessalonians, we see salvation through Christ. 1 and 2 Timothy, Christ as a ransom for our sin. In the book of Titus, we see Christ sacrificed for purification. In Philemon, we see a picture of redemption with a man named Onesimus. Onesimus was you and I. In Hebrews, we see Christ as the ultimate high priest. In James, we see faith accompanied by works to show the salvation. In 1st and 2nd Peter, we see redemption by precious blood. In 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John, we see the cleansing by His blood. In the book of Jude, we see Christ's eternal security. In Revelation, we see that the saints are washed in the blood of the Lamb. And so we see a red strain all the way through the Bible. You say, what does that have to do with the neglecting of the blood? I'm telling you this morning, it's all through there. So how can you ignore it? But the neglecting of the blood leads to the rejected sacrifice. The rejected sacrifice. We see that with Cain's sacrifice. You know what the problem with Cain's sacrifice was? It was not what God required. I'm sure that it was the finest vegetables there were to offer. If there is such a thing. I'm sure that it was the very best he had. They were the biggest. They would have won at every 4-H competition. They would have won at the county fair. It was the best that he could give, but it wasn't God's way. And you see today, there's a problem with man trying to do it their way. An old preacher by the name of Don Green went home to be with the Lord, but he said this often. He said, I think the problem with most churches is 80% of the people in the church are not saved. And I don't know about those statistics, and I don't know how many. I know one thing only you and God know, and there may be a lot of people that come to church every Sunday, and every Wednesday, and every revival, and sit through Sunday school and services, but I'm telling you they're relying on something other than the blood of Christ as their salvation, and they think they're doing pretty good. The rejected sacrifice. God ordained the sin offering should be blood. He showed him that. He gave him an illustration of that in the garden when he clothed Adam and Eve with that lamb skin, we believe it is the blood. And that was a picture of what was to come, the once and all sacrifice for our sins. There's a rejected sacrifice. Those that believe that they can merit salvation based on anything other than the blood of Jesus Christ are lost. That's all there is to it. It would be so sad to sit in a church pew and every single Sunday going to a good church that believes the Bible and preaches the Word and die and go to hell. You say, you're trying to talk me out of something. I am not. You can't talk me out of my salvation. I know that I'm saved. but I do struggle with people that struggle all the time. Listen, I'm not saying that we're not gonna go through hardships and struggles and we're gonna trip and fall and the Bible has plenty to talk about that, but I'm talking about where the entire Christian life is so hard and, man, it's just so difficult and you just can't seem to get any victory in your life over anything. One of the first things I ask somebody when they're dealing with stuff like that, I say, are you saved? Do you know you're saved? And you might think, well, man, you're trying to talk them out of what they got. No, I'm not. And a saved person is capable of doing anything a lost person is. But man, that's something you better have settled. You better have it settled to know that you're saved. It doesn't matter how excellent you look. It doesn't matter how great things that you do. It doesn't matter how good you do for other people. All that stuff is good after salvation, but it will not get you to heaven. And there are some that I'm afraid may be relying on the fact that, man, everything I've got is put together and it looks good and I'm trying my best and doing my best. And I'm telling you, and I know I've preached here multiple times on subjects like this, you know we're not saved by works at all. It's by grace we're saved. Through faith, nothing else. But we can be so close to church and involved in things the church is doing that we don't realize that we've never put our faith and trust in the blood and what Christ did for us on the cross of Calvary. The rejected sacrifice. Not only that, but the rotten sermons. Talking about the neglect of the blood. I just mentioned that a moment ago. There's sermons and songs. They fall short and they fail because they ignore or they even go as far as intentionally avoiding the blood. Man, you have no message. You have no song without the blood. There's nothing there. It may be very clever. It may be extremely popular. But I'm telling you, if there's no blood, there's no power. And there's no salvation without the blood. Modern Bibles, I say that, the first modern Bible really that came into effect and started damaging us came out in the early 1900s. late 1800s, early 1900s, they remove the blood from several passages. One of the greatest verses in the Bible on the blood, getting saved through the blood, we're going to mention it again, is Colossians 2.14, in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins. They take out through his blood. If you have an NIV Bible in here today, it's not in your Bible. It's gone. They took out the blood. You say, what does that matter? Oh, it matters everything. It's through the blood. First of all, the neglect of the blood, but secondly, the necessity of the blood. You have to have it. The necessity of the blood. You know, without the blood, you're in bondage. The children of Israel were in Egypt, And they got gloriously delivered, the Lord rescued them, and they're a picture of us when they were in bondage and they were enslaved before salvation. Do you know how they got out? They got out through the blood. It's absolutely necessary, the necessity of the blood. There is power in the blood. Power to redeem. Ephesians 1.7 says, "...in whom we have redemption, just like Colossians 1.14, through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace." It is a powerful agent against our sin. I'll tell you, there's a lot of powerful forces in this world, but nothing compares to the blood of Jesus Christ. There is no sin too great that the power of the blood cannot wash you clean. That is powerful. You don't know what I've done. You don't know what I've been through. Listen, I'm telling you this morning, the blood of Jesus Christ will cleanse you from all unrighteousnesses, from every one of them. Even after salvation, you may mess up, you may fall. We've preached about that before, about falling down and getting back up again. And young people, you'll make mistakes from time to time, but I'm telling you, there is nothing that you'll ever do that goes so far that the blood of Jesus Christ cannot forgive you. That's what the Bible tells us. The children of Israel were utterly enslaved. They could not raise one finger in their own power to get out of Egypt and to get out of bondage. There's a lot today that are in that same condition. They do everything in their power. Listen, God gave me this message. I know I'm preaching to the choir tonight, to the faithful of our church, and there's some I know that are out, and we don't have any visitors here this morning, but God gave me this to preach this morning. I'm telling you today, there's people that are in an awful, awful condition. They're living their life every day, going about their business. They think they're doing okay, but the blood hasn't been applied. And one day the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back and he's looking for the blood. The blood that's been applied. People today, they're in an endless pursuit of freedom and happiness and peace. You can't find it outside of the blood. I'm talking about the necessity of the blood. Would you be free from the burden of sin? There's power in the blood, power in the blood. Would you or evil a victory win? There's wonderful power in the blood. There is power, power, wonder-working power in the blood. of a lamb, there is power. There's no underworking power in the precious blood of the Lamb. Would you be wider, much wider than snow? There's power in the blood, power in the blood. Sin stains are lost in its life-giving flow. There's wonderful power in the blood. power, wonder-working power. In the blood of the Lamb there is power. You can't get victory? Why don't you try the blood? There's power in the blood. Not only the power of redemption through the blood, but the price of redemption through the blood. Do you know what that price was? It was pictured in the Passover lamb. It was the Lord Jesus Christ. And His blood He shed on Calvary. That's the price of the lamb. In the book of Exodus, they were told to go out in the congregation on the tenth day of the month. And they were to take every man a lamb according to their house. And they gave instructions on how to do that. And every man was supposed to take it and take that lamb and sacrifice it and put it on the doorpost of that house. In the Bible, in Exodus chapter 12, it mentions three different times the lamb. It says a lamb, the lamb, and your lamb. It was a lamb they were supposed to get. And when it came in the house, it was the lamb that was theirs. But they weren't saved until it became their lamb. It's got to go from a lamb, to the lamb, to your lamb. That's how it spells it out there in the book of Exodus. And the price that was paid on Calvary, the Lord Jesus Christ, He is the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. But it won't do you any good until He becomes your Lamb. the price that was paid on Calvary. Jesus Christ is our Passover. The Bible said in 1 Corinthians 5, 7, Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ is our Passover, is sacrificed for us. Man, what a picture there in the Old Testament, I've preached it many times, about that Passover lamb. I can imagine the families gathered there together, and they know that death angel's coming, gonna kill every one of the firstborns in the house, and whether it be a boy or a girl, the Bible doesn't say, that sat there through that time, knowing, knowing the death angel was coming, and wanted to make sure, Dad, did you make sure the blood's on the door? I'm sure just like many today, there were some dads and some moms that said, no, you don't believe all that hogwash, do you? You don't believe all that hoopla. You don't believe the death angel's really going to come. Man, that's just a bunch of fairytale stuff. But I'm telling you, it showed up that night and the firstborn died. And I can imagine there may be some firstborns that were in the house that said, Dad, would you go out there and look one more time and see if that blood's still on that door? Did you put it on thick enough? Did you make sure it was there? And I'm telling you, July of 1995, the blood got applied to my heart and it's still there. and I hope it's there for you as well. Christ our Redeemer died on the cross, died for the sinner, paid all his due. Sprinkle your soul with the blood of the Lamb, and I will pass, will pass over you when I see the blood, when I When I see the blood, when I see the blood, I will pass, I will pass over you. Chiefest of sinners, Jesus will save, as he has promised, that will he do. Wash in the fountain, hoping for sin, And I will pass, will pass over you. Judgment is coming. All will be there. Each one receiving justly is due. Hide in the saving, sin-cleansing blood. And I will pass, will pass over you. When I see the blood. When I see the blood, when I see the blood, I will pass, I will pass over you. Has the blood been applied? I'm preaching on through His blood. There's no other way. Not only do we see the power of redemption and the price of redemption, but we also see the pardon of redemption. Can you wrap your mind around the fact that you've been forgiven? I know we've got some in here that are younger and got saved at a young age and thank God for it, but they had to be forgiven just like somebody that was older that got saved. But I tell you, there's some like that woman in the Bible that broke the alabaster box on the foot of our Savior and weeped the tears on her feet and wiped His feet with her hair. Man, I'm telling you, the Bible said she was forgiven much! And she loved much. And there's some that are in here today, you've been forgiven much. You've been pardoned much. What a thought to think about the power of redemption. But God committed this love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us much more than being now justified by his blood. We shall be saved from wrath through him. I tell you what, President, ex-President Biden has nothing on Christ when it comes to pardoning. and he would know he gave out 8,064 pardons during his presidency. The next closest one was Obama with 1,927. I mean that is an unbelievable amount that nobody will ever reach again. Trump might try, I don't know. 8,064 pardons. But you know Jesus Christ has given out a whole lot more pardons than that and He's still giving them out today and the soul that comes to Him in repentance and believing what He did on the cross, He will pardon them also. His pardon list is way up there. And they're all pardoned because of the blood of Jesus Christ. We have been pardoned by the blood. We didn't deserve it. Neither did any of those ones that Biden pardoned. We didn't deserve it, but he pardoned us. He who knew no sin became sin for you and I. He took our place. What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Oh, precious is the flow that makes me white as snow. No other fount I know, nothing but the blood of Jesus. For my part in this I see, nothing but the blood of of Jesus. For my cleansing, this my plea, nothing but the blood of Jesus. Oh, precious is the flow that makes me white as snow. No other fount I know, nothing but the blood of Jesus. Nothing can for sin atone. Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Not of good that I have done. Nothing but the blood of This is all my hope and peace, nothing but the blood of Jesus. This is all my righteousness, nothing but the blood of Jesus. Oh, precious is the flow that makes me white as snow. No other fount I know, nothing but the blood of Jesus. The necessity of the blood, it's absolutely necessary. It's the only way. We've looked at the neglect of the blood, the necessity of the blood, but last of all, the nodding of the blood. The permission given through the blood. And first of all, the nodding of the blood gives you access to heaven. We can only get to heaven by the blood of the Lamb. Our access is only made possible through the blood of Christ. And it is open to every single individual that has been blood washed through the blood of Jesus Christ. And it is closed to every single one whose hearts and souls remain unwashed through the blood. Speaking of Biden, there's no open border policy to heaven. It's through the blood of Jesus Christ. You get in the United States, you got to come legally. That's what it's supposed to be. When you go to heaven, you've got to go through the door. You've got to go through the blood of Jesus Christ. The Bible said in Romans 3.25, whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood to declare His righteousness for the remissions of sins that are passed through the forbearance of God. If you're going to gain access into heaven, it's going to be through the blood. Not only do we have the nodding of the blood into heaven, but second of all, into the holiest. Into the holiest. In the tabernacle, in the temple, there was a veil that stood between the temple inner court and the Holy of Holies. And it barred access to anybody that wanted to go in there. They were not able. Except for one man on one day, once a year. And that man, the high priest, entered in. He took with him the blood of the sacrifice that he offered as God's appointed. But when Jesus Christ went to the cross of Calvary, and He shed His blood for you and I, the Bible said in Mark 15, 38, and the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom. That veil was torn down, and now, because of the blood, we have access into the Holy of Holies. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 10, verse 20, that veil was a picture of Christ's flesh by a new and living way, which He hath consecrated for us through the veil, that is to say, His flesh. Christ, as the high priest, died on the cross of Calvary, and His blood was given for you and I. And He placed it on the mercy seat. And because of that, the Bible says in Hebrews 9, 12, neither by the blood of goats and cows, but by His own blood, He entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. And because of that, Hebrews 10, 19 says, having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus. I'm thankful this morning that we don't have to come once a week and talk to a priest so that he can talk to God. That's what they believe and they're doing it all wrong anyway. They can only go in once a year. But I'm telling you this morning, you don't have to do that. When we mess up and we fail or we have troubles, we can boldly walk into the Holy of Holies and we can talk to God directly. And it's only because of the blood. We only get that nod of approval. You can come in. Into heaven, into the holies, and last of all, into harmony. You say, what do you mean into harmony? Turn with me to Galatians chapter 1. Or sorry, Colossians. Colossians chapter 1. The blood not only saves us, it keeps us. And those that will live a life submitted to Christ and the Word of God through His blood can have harmony. Because of our access through the blood, beyond our access to heaven, beyond our access into the Holy of Holies, we have access to harmony. We have access to peace through His blood. Do you believe that you can have peace in your heart? Do you believe that you can have peace in your home? I know it's hard to wrap our mind around. Do you know, do you believe we can have peace in our church? We gotta keep the main thing the main thing. The blood of Jesus Christ. You find a church where the emphasis is not on missions and gospel and getting the gospel out, and I'll show you a church that has no power. I don't care how big they are, I don't care how many cars are in the parking lot, how much money flows through the church. I'll show you a church with no power. And they won't have peace either. Colossians 1 verse 19-20, you there say Amen. For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell. And having made peace through the what? The blood of His cross by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself. By Him, I say whether they be things in earth or things in heaven. And church, my invitation to you this morning is twofold as it usually is in my messages. Number one is, has the blood been applied to your life? I want each one of us to, the Bible says examine yourself whether you be in the faith. Examine yourself this morning, young and old, has the blood been applied? Can you go back in your heart's mind And remember back to that time. You might not remember the exact date. You might not remember the exact time stamp. But you'll know where you were when you met God. It doesn't just happen by accident. You don't just get up and walking down the road one day and all of a sudden you're magically saved. There was a time where you had an encounter with God. And you trusted in Him and what He did on the cross of Calvary and asked Him to save you. You put your faith and trust in the death, burial and resurrection, in the blood of Christ. And if you don't have that time and that place in your life and your trust in like, I believe I'm saved, I think I'm saved, I've got all this stuff around me, I'm telling you, you need to get it settled this morning. Every head bowed, every eye closed. That's the first part of the invitation. The second part is, if you know you're saved, you know you've been born again, Why don't you take time this morning, whether in your pew or down here, and thank God for the blood. Let's worship Him this morning. Ms. Sarah is going to sing this song I've asked her to sing. If you're here today and you're not saved, why don't you come get born again this morning? And all the sights I'll see. Brother Nick, bring your Bible, Miss Lisa, if you don't mind. The walls of Jasper. If you're here this morning and you say, Preacher, I'm not sure if I'm saved. The clearing of the sea. We got a lady here and a man here. And I know everybody, I know everybody that's here this morning. I believe you have a testimony of salvation. But hey, you better make sure that you're in. Why should I enter in? Why should I enter in? Listen to the words. If you're not saved, we got a man and a woman up here, you come. And if you are saved, why don't you worship Him this morning? It's through the blood. In the presence of Jehovah, as I stand before the throne.
