The Rise & Fall of Jehoram, King of Judah

Jehoram, son of Jehoshaphat, king of Judah, is following after the wicked, idolatrous ways of his father-in-law, Ahab, king of Israel. But this is no surprise to the LORD at all. Before Elijah was taken into glory, which was years before Jehoram ascended to the throne, the LORD had Elijah write a sentence of judgment against this king's future actions.
