Answer Me — In the Morning!

Answer Me — In the Morning!

Answer me, quickly…

Answer me in the morning, yes, cause me to hear, cause me to know, deliver me, and teach me Your will.

I believe there's a great chance that 2 Samuel 2 is the occasion for the providential penning of Psalm 143.

"It happened, after hearing of Saul and Jonathan's death, that David inquired of the Lord saying, "Shall I go up to any of the cities of Judah? And the Lord said to him, Go up." David said, Where shall I go?" And He said, "To Hebron." So David went…" 2 Samuel 2

He wrote in Psalm 143:9-10

"Deliver me, O lord from my enemies; in You I take shelter. Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God, Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness."

The start of each new day…

Psalm 143:6-8 (David understood that He needed a DAILY word from the Lord, and without it, he was as useless as a dead man upon the earth. He asked the Lord to speak to Him quickly/early, in the mornings, to clarify His heart to him and show him which way to go... see also Psalm 28:1.)

Come join us as we look at both… 2 Samuel and Psalm 143

He has separated us from our past foolishness (Psalm 103:12)

"As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. The Lord knows our frame; He remembers we are dust." (Psalm 103:12)

He has removed us from our acts of trespassing by repositioning us in His path and removing us from ourselves and our old ways. How? Grace. He forgave, healed, bound, mended, and now daily reveals His purpose to us. Psalm 103:1-5
