All right, let's start tonight. Don't know how far we'll go. I've got how many points in the outline here? 50. So what this is, what we're gonna start this evening on the next few Thursday nights, this is too long for a Bible study or a sermon. It's too short for a Bible school class. These are 50 things the Bible says about Jesus Christ. that the Bible also says about itself. So this modern Christianity that talks about Jesus but doesn't open the Bible, it's gonna lead you astray because the true Jesus is aligned with the Word of God. and the word of God is aligned with the true Jesus. And people say, I'd sure like to get to know Jesus better than get to know your Bible better. I'd like to have a better understanding of the Lord and a better relationship with the Lord than get in the pages of this book. I'll show you the start and then we'll pray. Philippians chapter two and Psalm 138. Philippians chapter two and Psalm 138. In the Philippians passage, I expect that you will know Philippians chapter 2 and verse number 5. Let this mind be in you which is also in Christ Jesus. And just stop for a minute. Do you think Jesus is going to transplant His brain into your brain? Do you think He's going to say some spiritual words or some supernatural words and suddenly, boom, there's the mind of Christ? Or are you going to learn to think like Jesus by reading His words? What does Jesus think about marriage and child raising and earning a living and divorce and diet and finance and politics? Don't ask a panel of experts. Read the Bible. So anyway, take a look at this, verse number six. Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to equal with God, but made himself in no reputation, took upon in the form of a servant, was made in the likeness of men. Being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Amazing thing. Wherefore, God also hath highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name. That in the name of Jesus, every knee should bow of things in heaven and things in earth and things under the earth. That every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. A name above every name. A name before which every knee shall bow. Praise the Lord. Psalm 138. Psalm 138 in verse number one. I will praise thee with my whole heart, before the gods will I sing praise unto thee. I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth. For thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. So the name of Jesus is above every name. and the written Word is above the name of Jesus. You say, Preacher, do you worship the Bible? I do not. Preacher, do you think the Bible sits on the throne? I do not. But the reason the Scripture boldly says that God has magnified the Word above the very name of Jesus is Mormons use the name of Jesus, Muslims use the name of Jesus, Jehovah's Witnesses use the name of Jesus, liberal politicians, conservative politicians use the name of Jesus, but it's not this one. It's not the true Jesus of the Bible. So why is the word magnified above the name of Jesus so you get the right Jesus? Praise the Lord. So if people say, I don't read the Bible. I don't study the scriptures. I don't go to a Bible preaching church. I just love Jesus. I just listen for the voice of Jesus. You're so off track, you don't even know it. It's just not the Bible pathway. All right, Father, bless your word tonight to our hearts. Help us. Encourage us, enlighten us, give us instruction that'll lead us and guide us in the way that we ought to go. We thank you for it in Jesus' name and amen. All right, so what we're gonna do tonight, back and forth comparison. Revelation 19 and Luke chapter five. Revelation 19 and Luke chapter five. The first of 50 comparisons between Jesus Christ and the written scriptures. Revelation 19. And Luke chapter number 5. The Bible says, verse 11, Revelation 19, I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes was a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns. He had a name written that no man knew but he himself. And he was clothed with the vesture dipped in blood, and his name is called the Word of God. See that verse 13? His name is called the Word of God. Now, that's not a Bible. That's not a book. That's the Son of God. The name that He bears is the Word of God. Now, think about something. In Revelation 4, that door of heaven is opened and the believers, the believers go up through that door into the presence of the Lord and that door closes. Seven years of great tribulation commence. the door opens again and down comes the Lord Jesus Christ. The church, the believers go out, great tribulation, Christ and the believers return. What happens in the meantime? You say, well, I'll just, I'll get in the church after the rapture. I'll get right with God after the rapture. I'll find my way after the rapture. Verse number 12 says, here he comes returning. He has a name that no man knew. but he himself. Verse 13, his name is called the word of God. If you don't know the Jesus of the Bible, you'll miss the rapture and you won't find him between the rapture and the second coming. His name's the word of God and at his return, nobody knows that name. You know what they've been doing? Trying to stay alive. They're not going to church. They're running for their lives and hiding. That's what they're doing. You know what the Bible says? Behold, now is the accepted time. Behold, today is the day of salvation. Seek ye the Lord while he is found. Call upon him while he is near. You don't wanna wait and miss this great opportunity of salvation by grace through faith. It's so simple, so easy, so available. And wake up and find your, listen, Every one of us would agree and we could take turns telling stories from the news about how messed up this world is. That's with preaching and witnessing and hymn singing and Christians just about everywhere. What do you think it's gonna be like when we're gone? You know what the Bible calls the wars, the rumors of wars, the earthquakes, the families of disease, pestilence, you know what the Bible calls that? The beginning of sorrows. Well, if that's the beginning, you don't wanna be here when it's full blown, wide open. I'm leaving, glad I'm saved, hope you're saved so you can get out of here. Luke chapter five and verse number one, it came to pass that as the people pressed upon him, That's Jesus, they pressed upon Jesus to hear the Word of God. He stood by the lake of Gennesaret. So the scriptures and Jesus are both designated as the Word of God. Praise the Lord. So do you want to know the Word? Read the Word. Do you want to know the Word of God? Search the Word of God. All right, let's go to Isaiah 9 and Romans 10. Isaiah 9 and Romans 10. We can actually use Isaiah 9, 6 the day after Christmas, as well as Christmas Day. In fact, it works all year long. Isaiah 9 and Romans 6. At the end of each year, I do what a shepherd is supposed to do. I sit and count sheep and rejoice in all the new people that have come during the year and weep and mourn for all the people that have left during the year. And we had so, so many people leave, quit, move. last year and I was trying to think how is it that we had such a decline and then I realized I've been ill most of December and haven't been able to rail against the holidays and it just, it really, really hurt our attendance. So next year I'm gonna double down on it, Lord, Lord willing. All right, Romans chapter, Romans chapter Let's read the Isaiah passage first. Isaiah 9, verse 6, Isaiah 9, verse 6, It would run a lot better than Donald Trump's going to run it or Jill Biden has run it. The government should be upon his shoulder and his name should be called Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father. Look at this, the Prince of Peace. The Prince of Peace. Won't be great when he comes back. And if He's in your heart right now, you have peace while the world is in chaos. All right, so come down over to Romans 10. Verse 17 says, So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Verse 14, How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? How shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? How shall they hear without a preacher? How shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful to the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace. and bring glad tidings of good things. But they have not all obeyed the gospel, for Isaiah saith, Lord, who hath believed our report, so then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Scripture was scripture. What is the word of God? It's the gospel of peace. You say, well, how do I line up the word of God being the gospel of peace and Jesus Christ being the prince of peace without the word of God? You wouldn't have the story of the terrified disciples in a ship on the sea in a raging storm when the Lord stood and said, peace be still. You wouldn't have the account of a devil-possessed man tearing himself and attempting suicide repeatedly out there among the tombs, and Jesus casting out those devils, and there's the same man clothed and sitting in his right mind. What we have, these are words, and I'm not downplaying the words, but Jesus is the Prince of Peace, meaning what? Read the gospel accounts. Read the record of how He settled the hearts and soothed the minds and made the conscience clean through His righteousness and His holiness and His salvation and thank the Lord. If you didn't have the Bible, you'd say, what do you mean Prince of Peace? We're looking forward to a day when He sits upon a throne and rules and reigns and there's peace on earth. But that doesn't help me now. I need Him now. I need His peace now. Where do I get it? I don't invent it. I don't manufacture it. I don't try to invent some sort of fairy tale stories. I have the record of all the people that Jesus Christ stepped into their troubled lives brought calm and joy and contentment and happiness and rejoicing. Praise the Lord. So what do we do? We learn the facts about Jesus. Here's his title, Prince of Peace. What does that mean? We go to the Gospel of Peace and read. You know Romans 5 says we were God's enemies? God's enemies. And then says we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. I'm glad that's in the Bible. So we see how the two line up. All right, John 6 and Luke chapter number 4. John 6 and Luke chapter number 4. This is the third comparison. We have 50 of them tonight. I'll miss the reruns. John 6 and Luke chapter number four. John 6 and verse number 48, John 6 verse 48, I am, there's Jesus claiming to be God, that bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness and are But this bread which cometh down from heaven, this is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever. The bread that I give is my flesh, which I give for the life of the world. So a million and a half, two million people. Forty years in a wilderness place, every morning and every night, God rained bread down from heaven. They gathered it. They ate it. It sustained them until they died. And they died in unbelief. Almost that entire congregation of people died in unbelief. Two people believe God made it into the promised land. They outlived the manna that fell from heaven. So Jesus said, God sent bread down from heaven, miraculous, supernatural, and fed people for decades, but it couldn't give them eternal life. But I am the bread that comes down from heaven if you'll eat this. Now listen, sacramental churches get this all goofed up. God sent manna down from heaven. It's right there on the ground. You got to go get it. He didn't just fill their bellies supernaturally so they weren't hungry, He provided bread for them. Now get up, get out of your tent, go gather it, and then if you gathered it and brought it into your tent and decided, I don't like the looks of it, I'm tired of it, this doesn't appeal to me, I'd rather have something else, then it doesn't do you any good. You gotta eat it. So Jesus Christ, God sends His Son into the world, there He is. you're not saved, you gotta go get him. And you bring a gospel tract home, or you bring a Bible home, or you bring home a recorded sermon, and you listen to one, and praise the Lord, but are you gonna receive Christ? You gotta take him inside you. So it's not a sacrament wafer thing, it's God trying to show you and illustrate to you what they had to do in order to be saved. Praise the Lord. I'm glad Jesus Christ came into the world to do just that. Now, look at Luke chapter number 4. Luke chapter 4 and verse number 3. And the devil said unto him, he's tempting Jesus, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread. And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written that man should not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. You see that? Well, you know, I just want to have Jesus, every word of God. Jesus has revealed in Genesis, Exodus and Leviticus. Jesus has revealed in Numbers and Deuteronomy. Jesus has revealed in the law, in the prophets, in the Psalms. Jesus has revealed in the gospels, in the epistles, in the book of Revelation. You can't pick and choose. I want this part of Jesus and not that part of Jesus. I want this truth that Jesus taught. I don't like that truth Jesus taught. Every word of God. Praise the Lord. It's so much fuller, is that proper grammar, than the manna that fell down in the wilderness. I'll be honest with you. It's nice to live in America and be rich. You know most of the world doesn't say, what would you like for supper tonight? They eat the same thing they eat every single night until they finally die and are glad of it. I've been to some of these third world countries preaching meetings and rice, mid-morning, rice at supper time. Next day, rice, rice. Next day, rice, rice. Next day, rice. The Lord's day. Rice with a little piece of chicken. Rice with a little piece of fish. You've never been so glad to see a piece of meat in your life. That's one week. get on the airplane, come back to the good old USA. So that's that manna coming down from heaven. It's sustaining. Thank God for it. You're gonna starve to death without it. But 40 years of never once saying, I wonder what we're gonna have today. I mean, there's a reason God sent those quails in. They ate them until they The Bible says, came out their nose. That's the bad kind of stomach illness. That's it. Look it up. You'll look that up. I'm going to find that in the Bible. And here you are. You know what you get? Every page of this Bible is bread from heaven, but so varied, so different, such variety. It is the buffet of all buffets. And you can have as much as you want. You can have every type that you want. You can take a Bible reading chart and do Old Testament morning and New Testament in the evening, or you can plow through, you know, Genesis to Revelation, and you can jump around favorite verses. It's amazing. Just amazing, Ecclesiastes is so different from Colossians, and Matthew is so different from Ruth, and yet every bit of it is life-giving nourishment sent down from heaven, and thank God for it. Okay, look in Psalm 36, Psalm 36, and Proverbs 13. Psalm number 36, Proverbs chapter 13. This is the truth before God. It's joy, it's not bragging, boasting. I'm just telling you something. I started reading this Bible Some days, hours and hours and hours of reading this Bible in June of 1976. And I can get up tomorrow morning like I got up yesterday morning and the day before, and the day before that, and I can open this Bible that I have read almost every single day and studied almost every single day since June of 1976 and go, wow, I never saw that before. I never noticed that before. There's nothing like it. On the face of the earth there's nothing like this. You couldn't read any book 10 times and do that. It's just, it's alive. It's the living Word of the living God. Anyway, Psalm 36 and verse number 9, Psalm 36, 9, for with thee, with thee, is the fountain of life. With thee is the fountain of life. Jesus said, if any man will come unto me, I'll give him rivers of living water. flowing, flowing out of his inner man. Isn't that amazing? These springs around here, you go up there, De Leon Springs or Blue Springs, one of those places, there's as much water pouring out of that ground today as there was 200, 300 years ago when Ponce de Leon found that spring and Mr. Blue found that one over there. Guy Wakaiva came through down there by Orlando. It's every day, every day you go out there and there it is just flowing, flowing, flowing. You know what the Lord said? I am, I am a fountain of life. Isn't that amazing? All right, Proverbs 13. Proverbs 13. It's loud. And verse number, let's see if I got the right place here, 13. 14, yes, 13, 14. The law of the wise is a fountain of life to depart from the snares of death. You know what God is? He's a fountain of life. You know what his words are? A fountain of life. Praise the Lord. Say, man, I feed on the Bible every morning, but how am I gonna wash it down? Bible. More Bible. It's food, it's drink. Some of you, many of you, you've sent me messages or phone calls and you say, anything I can get for you? And I tell you the same thing. I say, a fountain of youth. Be great, everybody's looking for that. You know, drink this and never die. Drink this, have eternal life. It's Jesus. It's the Bible. Let me illustrate, and you say, I don't think you ought to pick on other people's religion. Well, then don't, but I'm going to. Listen, that sincere, dedicated Jehovah's Witness does not believe he has eternal life. He's working in hopes of getting it someday, but he doesn't believe he has it. You know why? He doesn't believe the scriptures. Those Mormon missionaries? Those Imams? Those priests? Those monks? Ask them. Do you know of an absolute certainty that you have everlasting life, no works, no works required, gift of God, eternal life? I don't think anybody can know that. You know why they say that? Because they trust their theology, or their church, or their religion. They don't believe the scriptures. You know what Jesus said? Search the scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life. You wanna get eternal life lined up right in your thinking? You gotta search the scriptures. So shouldn't I just believe in Jesus? I'm gonna say it again. There's a lot of people believe in Jesus and they don't know they have eternal life. You gotta get in this book to learn of the certainty of the full and complete payment for your sins, of the absolute pardon for all of your sins, of justification, standing righteous before God because of the blood of Jesus Christ, a God who says, I will never leave you nor forsake you. That's a blessing. That's where you get that. You don't get it from just chanting choruses about Jesus. You get it from searching the pages of this Holy Bible. Thank the Lord. All right, John 1 and Proverbs 6. Almost said that so, too slow for you to hang on to Proverbs. Proverbs 6 and John chapter number one. John chapter 1 and verse number 1. In the beginning was the Word, capital W, that's Jesus, and the Word was with God, the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him. Without Him was not anything made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of man. And the light shineth in darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not. In John 8, 12, Jesus says, let me get there as quickly as I can, I am. claiming to be God. I am the light of the world. He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Who's the light? Jesus Christ. Who's the light of the world? Jesus Christ. You believe that? Alright, Proverbs chapter 6. Proverbs chapter 6 and verse 23. For the commandment is a lamp, and the law is light. How about that? The commandment is a lamp and the law is light. Bible says in, I believe, Psalm 119, thy word, verse 105, thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. What's the light of the world? Jesus Christ. What's the light of the world? The word of God. What's the lamp that lights your way? Jesus Christ. What's the lamp that lights your way? The Bible. Now wait, again, thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. This isn't my point of view. This is what the book teaches. How do you say that magnified the word above thy name? Okay, so every day, well, not the last few months, but almost every day of my life, I have counseled, I have ministered to a Christian. who is facing a crisis, has a choice to make in their life. Brother David, Brother Ed, almost every day, some Christian believer facing a crisis in their life. I don't know what to do. Well, here's what the Bible says. Number one, number two, number three. This is what the Bible says you should do. Well, I'm just gonna pray about it. Why? because you don't agree with what the Bible says. And then you're gonna come back to me or to David or to Ed and say, I've decided to do what the Bible says not to do, but I prayed about it and Jesus told me it was okay, but he didn't. You made him up. That isn't Jesus, that's Santa. It's the Easter bunny. Just another mythological figure that brings you happiness. So how is the word magnified above his name? Because when you don't know what Jesus wants you to do, you can go to the Bible and the Bible will give you the light that Jesus would give you if he was standing here. And since he's not standing here, you've got to trust the Bible More than you trust Him because you can trust Him without the Bible and you're not trusting Him after all, you're trusting yourself. When people say, well, the Lord spoke to me. He did, me too. And if He told us two different things, one of us got the wrong Lord. So why is it important that you recognize the authority of Scripture being equal to the authority of Jesus Christ? Because otherwise you are going to deceive yourself or be deceived. That's good, preacher, I never thought about it that way. All right, Psalm 119, already quoted it, Psalm 119 verse 105 and 2 Samuel 22, Psalm 119. Verse 105 and 2 Samuel chapter 22. I know, some of you, you can't listen anymore because I left you back there and you're changing a tire back there by the side of the road. What do you mean you don't have to pray about it? Okay, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. You don't have to pray about that, you gotta do it. You pray about it for the next 15 years, you're not gonna get saved, that doesn't say. You gotta do it. Whose service to call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Let me give that some thought. No, you better call on the Lord and be saved. You gotta do what the Bible says. I'm just waiting for a leading don't. Waiting for a feeling don't. Could be heartburn, not a burning in the bosom. Really, I felt peace in my heart. Somebody might have slipped you some drugs. It's medicinal relief for pain. Well, I got peace about it. Well, you might've gotten some psychological peace. You might've gotten some emotional peace. You might've seared your conscience so it's not troubling you anymore. But you wanna know if something's right, you gotta go to the scripture. Not to the Jesus who always agrees with you. There are people telling me, you know, the Lord spoke to me. I always ask them, what's his voice sound like? And they don't want to admit it, but it sounds just like theirs. Except in the cartoon, it says, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. It's like, we're going to get to heaven. Who thought I talked like that? Moses. Oh, man. All right, where were we before you got me sidetracked here? Alright, 2 Samuel 22 and verse number 26. Obviously this man is talking about God. For thou art my lamp, O Lord, and the Lord will lighten my darkness. A lamp. Isn't that a blessing? Now, we don't live in lamp days. We do live in flashlight days. That's pretty nice. We live in headlamp days. Aren't you glad to have headlamps on your automobile? I wouldn't want to drive in the dark without lamps. I wouldn't want to walk from some place to my home at night without a lamp. So here you are. A new year is about to dawn. You want to walk through it without a lamp? Some of you are starting out on new jobs and new relationships and got new marriages and new babies and thank God for all of that. Some of you in a new church. Lamp. Thank God we're not stumbling, staggering like blind men trying to find our way through the darkness. Thank God for a lamp. Every now and then, just because my world's different than yours, I'll be driving someplace out, you know, out in the wilderness, countryside, and I'll just turn the headlights off. Just not long, but just for a little while so I can appreciate them. It's a blessing. You don't go home tonight, flip on all the lights, you know, and leave the room and leave the lights on, wait for me to have to come turn them off. It's just a thing. I just do. But you go home, the power's out. First thing you're going to do is look for a lamp. Look for a light. Used to be just light some candles. Now everybody's got a smoke alarm in their house. Well, the candle's out. Well, the candle's out and the alarm goes off for 30 minutes. Anyway. It's nice to have light. Darkness makes you nervous, makes you uncertain, makes you scared. The best runner in this place doesn't want to run in the dark. Thank God for a lamp. You know who that is? It's our God. Praise the Lord. All right, Psalms 119, verse 105. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Now listen, listen, tell you the truth. Before you got saved, the Bible says you were living and dwelling in darkness. And many of you went to church and they sang songs about Jesus and you stayed in the darkness. And they preached sermons about Jesus and you stayed in the darkness. And some of you grew up in Sunday school, vacation Bible school, and as soon as you were old enough went right out in the darkness. You went to work and people cursed and used the name of Jesus. He's everywhere, and you're in the dark. Then one day, somebody opened a Bible. Look right here. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. That's you. You're a sinner. God knows it. You know it. Look right here. Look right here in the Bible. The wages of sin is death. You're gonna die. It's gonna be forever. You're gonna wake up in hell. But the gift of God is eternal life. You know what brought you out of darkness? You say, Jesus, not without this. You know what brought you out of darkness? This, not without Jesus. Well, by grace you're saved through faith. Praise the Lord. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. So, you get saved. I'm reading all this stuff right now, reading all these commentaries on Romans 6 and 7 and 8, and you'd be amazed how many of these commentators think that if you don't do perfect good works all the time, you lose your salvation. You couldn't have stayed saved two years. I mean, to teach that doctrine, you have to teach that the day somebody gets saved, they're a perfect, mature, finished Christian. And you're not. And you get saved, and a hundred times in the next three years, you're not going to have the slightest idea what to do, and you've got Jesus. He's in you, you're in Him, the Holy Ghost lives in you, and you don't know what to do. Why? Because you've never faced this situation before. You've never had to deal with this problem before. You've never got convicted about that sin before. Now what do you do? Well, I just need Jesus. You have Jesus. You know what you need? You need the lamp. So we're not saying discard Jesus and just read the Bible. And we're not saying discard the Bible and just have Jesus. That's the modern contemporary thing that's going on. You've got to have them both. You got to have them both working, working together, working together. All right, let's do, let's see, two, four, six. Wow, it's taking longer than I thought. Zechariah 2, go. Sword drill verse. Zechariah 2 and Jeremiah 23. Zechariah 2 and Jeremiah 23. When you hear the pages stop turning, just look up. Zechariah chapter 2 and Jeremiah chapter 23. Alright, Zechariah 2 and verse number 4. Like that song, Lily of the Valley, a wall of fire about me, I've nothing now to fear, that's where that line is taken from. Who is the Lord? He's a wall of fire about His people. That's a good thing. You know what that does? That keeps enemies from getting in and it keeps you from getting out and joining the enemy. It's a double security, double protection. Protects you from foes without and protects you by keeping you within. Wall of fire round about, that's the Lord. All right, Jeremiah chapter 23. Jeremiah 23, verse 28. The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream. He that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. If you have a dream, we're just gonna say, yeah, so what? We got the Bible. We got the word of God. and what is the chaff to the wheat? What's the dream? That's the part you throw away. What's the word of God? That's the part you keep and feed on. I've written all these books and they do pretty well, but if I wrote a book and just put my dreams in it, that'd be a bestseller, man. The modern day Alice in Wonderland. That thing be… I had the weirdest dreams. And some of them I wake up and I'm telling people how weird their dreams were and then I wake up because that was part of the dream was me telling people about the… It's crazy, man. Anyway, verse 29, Is not my word like as a fire? What's the Lord round about His people? A fire. To do what? Keep the enemy from getting them. What's the Word of God? It's a fire. To do what? Keep the enemy from getting you. What's the Lord? He's a fire. To do what? Keep you from going over to the enemy. What's the Word of God? It's like a fire. To do what? Keep you from going over to the enemy. Praise the Lord. Now, you know who drops out of church? People who've already dropped out of their Bible. Yoga's back out in the world. People have already gone back to the world's entertainment, the world's literature. You can drop out of church, still have Jesus. But you lose touch with that Bible, you won't be in the place you're supposed to be. You get out of church and everything you said I'd never do that. Look what those people are doing. You'll be posting on Facebook in a year. Bragging about it and joining some group to criticize the church you were raised in. So what happened? Well, you didn't get away from Jesus. You got away from the book. You get out of that Bible, you'll take Jesus with you right out there in that hog pen. and you'll disgrace His name, and you'll disgrace His church, and you'll disgrace the people that love you, and say, I love Jesus. Who are you to say I don't love Jesus? Nobody's saying you don't love Jesus. You just don't love His book. And His book is a fire to keep the enemy from getting you and to keep you from going over there and joining that enemy. And you put the Bible down, you put the Bible down and the restraints will go with it. And the checks will go with it. And the stop signs will go with it. And the shame and the conviction will go with it. And you can find a church that will marry you to somebody of your own gender. You can find a church that will serve you drinks. You want to drink alcohol. They talk about Jesus, you talk about Jesus, we talk about Jesus. Well, how do you know who's right and who's wrong? This book. This book. And if you want to know the real Jesus and you want to live, walk with the real Jesus, you want to be right with the real Jesus, you can't divorce Him from His Bible. You've got to be as serious about the Bible as you are about the Lord. He's got a name exalted above every name, and He's magnified His word above His name. Amen. All right, that's the introduction. We'll be dealing with this for a little while. I hope it's okay with you. If it's not, we're going to do it anyway. Amen. I really truly do appreciate your prayers for myself and for my wife. We've not been through anything like this before. We're hoping through will be the operative word, but it's really a joy to be here with you. I really miss the fellowship and the interaction, but just for a while, I gotta live like a leper. Unclean, unclean. Unclean. All right, praise the Lord, let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for your beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and all that He means to us. Thank you for this blessed, holy Bible that reveals Him, who He is, what He wants for us, how He'll bless us. Thank you, God, for the Bible. Help us to love it as much as we love you. Help us to live by it. Oh, Lord, it's amazing that You want our lives to be better than we want them to be. It's just incredible how much you love us, how good you've been to us. Thank you for our time together tonight. In Jesus' name, amen, amen.
