Amen. Praise the Lord. And would you rather be winging or singing? Praise God for what He does and what He is to us. What a wonderful, beautiful day it is to be in the house of the Lord, to rejoice and be glad in it. Amen? Well, this morning I need to do a disclaimer, but I'm going to need at least 42 men. I will not shock you I won't pour water on you. I won't embarrass you. I won't ask you a question. I won't do any of that. But I need 42 men between the ages of 19 and 199. So I need, you're all volunteers. We've not practiced this. I'm not asking you to walk. But I need 42 men to line up from right here, back that way, and down that hall. Come on. I need 42 men. I need y'all to stay this way and down that way, 42 meters. All that way. Hey, tree, could you count me? Just count one. There you go. Go that way. Go the other way. Other way. Other way. No, you're okay. You're okay. Stay right here. Keep on going to the left. Praise God. Beautiful sight. Amen. Amen. Now, some of you are already counting. I know. But we're just going to say that this is 42 men. OK? 42 men. Thank you, men, for volunteering. What I need you to do, and I know this will sound a lot, John, have you ever played Abraham? Have you sung Father Abraham? You're going to be Abraham. Father Abraham, he had many sons. Trent, have you ever played Jesus? It was perfect. in Matthew chapter 1, verse 17 and 17. So all the generations from Abraham to David are 14 generations. And from David into the carrying away into Babylon are 14 generations. And from the carrying away into Babylon and to Christ are 14 generations. 14 generations. Now listen, when they started, God made a promise to Abraham. He made a covenant and he said, Abraham, I'm going to change your name to Abraham. And Abraham, I am going to bless you. And all those who bless you will be blessed. I'm going to bless the nations. I'm going to bless your generations and multiply your seed. To Jacob, to Isaac, and so forth. So men, I know this may sound odd, but I need you to turn John, you're going to turn that way, and all you men are going to turn this way. I need you to put your hands on the bands in front of your shoulders. It's going to seem odd. It's weird, I know. But both hands, both hands. That's as far as it goes, OK? So from Abraham, Jacob, Isaac, all through the lineage of the generations, all the way to right here, to Joseph, was a bloodline. I want you to get this. This is the purpose I really want you to grasp. The generation from Abraham to Joseph, you and I as Gentiles could not get in. This bloodline whatsoever, we could not get in. It was impossible. Have you ever tried to be a part of something that you couldn't be a part of? That's this, the promises of God. You and I could not get in the bloodline of Jesus Christ. We could not get in the bloodline of God's promises to Abraham. But get this, 42 generations, God had a unique plan. And His unique plan was this, that through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, Satan didn't recognize this, listen to me, Satan didn't recognize this, but he did not know because his focus was on stealing and killing and destroying. Listen to me. The bloodline was impossible for us Gentiles to get in. But Satan didn't know this when he put Jesus to death and made Him bleed and die and suffer for our iniquities. And by His stripes we can be healed because of the bloodline that was released to all of us through the blood of Jesus Christ. When it spilled, it spilled out to every one of us. So you and I can touch and be a part of a bloodline of God Almighty's promises for you and I. Praise His name. Thank you, men. You may have a seat. Praise God. The message this morning to you and I, thanks for the help of you men. You see, we couldn't get in We could not get in. And the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ has set us free so that you and I can be free indeed. We never want to take that for granted. And this morning the question is this. Are you in? Are you in? Everybody's not going to be in. God made it a purpose. He made it available to all to get into the bloodline of the promises through His Son, Jesus. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever, put your name there, Whosoever shall believe in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost shall have everlasting life. Are you in? Are you in? If you would, turn to Ephesians chapter 1. Ephesians chapter 1. Beginning in verse 6. to the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the Beloved." Now I want you to get the illustration. Does that cause your heart to passionately praise Him because of what He's done for you and I? To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the Beloved. Number seven, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace. wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to this good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, which are in earth, even in him. Men and women, it's in Him. It's not in you and I. It's in Him. Are you in Jesus Christ? God's blessings are going to pour out upon the children of God because we are in the bloodline. His promises is in the bloodline. So are you in? the bloodline of Christ. Are you His child? Are you receiving His promises and blessings? It is by grace that you're saved through faith. It's not of yourselves. It's a gift of God. And if you have placed your faith in Him and turned your life over to Him to allow Him to be Lord of your life and Controller, and you talk to Him and walk with Him each day as your Savior and as your Lord, you're in. The question is how connected and how in are you? God loves you and has a terrific plan for each of you to receive from Him. You've placed your faith in Him. You're part of His children. You're part of His family. He is in you and you're in Him. It's like abiding in the vine. You're the branch. He's the vine. Be connected tightly to Him. You're connected. You're given all these promises from Him. Receive Him as Lord and Savior. The question is, after you're in, are you being pushed or are you being pulled? Push means you're being forced to do something that you might not want to do. Many of us have been pushed before, haven't we? Are you being pulled by the love and the passion because He has redeemed you by His blood, that He loves you and has forgiven your sins, that you're promised eternal life with Him. You're promised that He's going to give you life here abundantly. And because of that passionate love for Him that you are so focused upon Him to serve Him with all your heart, mind and soul and strength. That you want to do what pleases Him, not pleases you. You're His child and you want to be a part of His family in serving Him. And you are pulled by the gravitational Holy Spirit to do something that is extraordinarily above what you could possibly do. It's a source, it's a mission, much greater than yourself. So are you pushed or are you pulled? being connected to the bloodline. You and I are called to the mission. The mission and using our gifts and talents for the glory of God. God gives us when we receive Christ, spiritual gifts. And each of you have been uniquely grafted into the bloodline to use your gifts, your spiritual gifts, and to use your talents for His glory. The choir, wonderful job today. It's fantastic. Leading us in worship and before the throne of grace. But are you using it every week? God gives you the gift of singing. Are you singing for the glory of God each week? Now, God may have gifted you for singing. Bless you, I don't have that gift. But if you even have the gift, the second phrase of that is, if you have a love for singing, maybe not a gift, but you have a love for singing, use it for God's glory. If you have a gift or a talent to play instruments, I'm going to tell you, I come in and I'm looking forward to Ed playing in the mornings. It soothes my soul to hear him playing. There's times when we're doing the Lord's Supper that it sets the tone in my heart when Linda's playing the organ. I love watching and listening to people that are passionate and gifted to use those gifts for the glory of God. We have people that are teachers use it for the glory of God. Some people may just have the gift of cleaning. We've got plenty of kids on Wednesday nights you can clean up after if you want to. We even got vehicles back here, buses and vans that God gifted you clean. You can clean right after they get it done. You may need a blower. God may have gifted you with just people that you connect with people that you're extrovert and you love to be around other people. Connect other people. Contact other people. Tell them about your story, how Jesus saved you. Begin to share with them what God's doing here. Bring them to church. Bring them to Sunday school. You might be that extrovert that just loves to meet people and you're at the doors greeting people, showing them where to go to Sunday school or showing them where to sit and hear or just welcome them in. You might have that gift. We're all called to the mission for the same glory. Whether it's decor, whether it's sound, whether it's music, whether it's video, whatever it is. Are you doing it for the glory of God? And are you doing it for Him? A lot of things go on behind the scenes in the church. Maybe that's where God's called you. Regardless, we praise Him with our gifts and talents, whatever it is, for His glory. We should talk to Him more in prayer. Amen? Your spouse wouldn't like it if you went up that they just ask you questions, they talk to you. They'd get angry, wouldn't they? Some of you right now are saying, I could use a day or two like that. We communicate and listen to the ones we love. We should pray and talk to the Lord Look what He's done for us. The redemption through His blood. We need to talk to Him. We need to pray more. We need to study His Word more. And allow it to do more in our heads. Not just for head knowledge. Not just for information. But to apply it to our lives. And to understand His truths and His precepts for our daily walk with God. So we go through life. We recognize and understand that we are in Christ. But do we really understand what we're in Christ for? What are we in Christ to do? It's not to sit. It's to serve. Because all of us have a part of the body of Christ. And as we've connected to Him, We need to connect to what God's called us to do and gifted us to do, and to do it to the best of our ability, not for us, but for Him and His glory. Studying His Word, understanding what His call is on our life, and understanding His precepts on our daily lives. The Bible says in Luke 9.23, it said, It's talking about a connection. It's talking about connecting to God. It's talking about desiring and following Him. It says, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me. You know, a lot of times, as we go through life, somebody may say something that we don't like. They may say something that just we take for them. And we say, well, that's just it. I'm done. Let me just ask you, are you doing it for yourself or are you doing it for God? Praise God, He's never gave up on me and He's never gave up on you. It's for His glory that we're redeemed as a child of His with the promises of Him to be part of His family, that we have a privilege of serving. And I would just say, thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus, for saving me. It's nothing I did, nothing I said. He loved me and called me as His child. Are you His child? Are you a part of the bloodline? Because you're either in or you're out. If you're in, you should thank Jesus as well. Because you're a part of God's family. You're a part of His bloodline. Are you in or are you out? You have to invite Him personally. He doesn't come in where he doesn't be invited. He doesn't go where he's not invited. Are you in? I'm gonna ask you this. I want you to bow your head, close your eyes. While heads are bowed and eyes are closed and instrumentals come to play, I'm going to read you a promise that God has always had in Scriptures for us to read as well. All of His promises have been fulfilled from Adam down to Jesus, and there are some more promises that are to come. It's found in 1 Thessalonians, and it says this, while you're concentrating on God, for the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with the shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we, which are alive and remain, shall be called up together with Him in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Are you in? Have you committed your heart and life to the Lord Jesus Christ? Have you asked Him to forgive your sins? How long has it been since you talked to Him then? Are you living for Him? This morning, the Holy Spirit of God is pulling at your heart about something that's going on inside. How are you going to respond? He's not going to enter where He's not invited. Will you open up your heart this morning? Christians, is your hands upon Him? Are you seeking Him, following Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength? Are you that connected? Or is it time that you need to repent and come back home and tell Him you're reporting? You're asking Him to forgive you. Some of you here this morning, you're not in. You've never asked forgiveness of your sins. You've never asked Him to be the Lord and controller of your life. And this morning, the Holy Spirit of God is drawing you right now. What are you going to do? Each of us will be held accountable this morning for what the Holy Spirit of God is prompting our hearts to do. Father, as we extend this invitation for You and for Your glory, we turn it over to You, as we did in the beginning, to be in charge and to be glorified. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen. Would you stand please? Number 316. Jesus is tenderly calling thee home, calling today.
