All right, praise God. Let's go to Lord in prayer. Father, we do thank you for your goodness. We do pray for your blessing upon the preached word, the baptisms, or be with those that are in your house today. Those that listen online or may listen in the future. We pray this word will mean something, will edify, encourage. Do your work in Jesus' name, amen. I've been preaching a sermon series on the sin of lying. Although we could keep going on this important subject, I'm going to conclude it today, titled, The Message is Lying Wonders in the Last Days. You know, trust in the news media, it's falling fast. A recent survey said that half of all Americans indicated that they believe that the national news organizations mislead you. In fact, nine out of 10 Republicans said they believe the whole news media is garbage. It's not just the news media. 20% of all people say they trust the government. That means the majority of people do not trust the government. We've seen in the past that most scientists today don't believe in facts. You'll see scientific journals. They say, we don't believe in facts. We don't even believe in absolute truth. But they're going further today now. New Scientist Magazine recently reported that what you experience may not even exist. inside the strange truth of reality. It's rather unsettling to discover this might all be a fabrication. Some researchers even contend that the live stream movie in my head bears no resemblance whatsoever to reality. It may be a creation of our own consciousness or a computer simulation designed by super intelligent beings. Isn't that a bunch of garbage? That's Hinduism. That's New Age movement that says everything's just an illusion. But what's closer to the truth is what the Wall Street Journal recently reported. Is anything still true? On the internet, no one knows anymore. New tools can create fake videos and clone the voices of those closest to us. This is how totalitarianism arises. In Nazi Germany, the people whisper, I think people are disappearing. I think they're putting people away and imprisoning them secretly. And one day your neighbor's there, next day your neighbor's not there. And they said, oh, you're a conspiracy theorist. They said, no, there's something going on, man. Do you know many right now are afraid to say what they really believe? There's people in high office, there's people, and they say, hey, hey, you gotta be careful what you say. I don't believe much of what's going on. I don't even believe it's true. Do you know right now you can be imprisoned for just saying the wrong thing? Or sued $500 million. I didn't say $5,000. They're coming after some people for a billion dollars. I think Isaiah 59 sums it up. Listen to these words as I read them for you. Your hands are defiled with blood and your fingers with iniquity. Your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness, and none calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth. They trust in vanity and speak lies, they conceive mischief, they weave the spider's web. In transgressing and lying against the Lord, and departing away from our God, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood, and judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off, for truth is fallen in the street. Yea, truth faileth, and he that departed from evil maketh himself a prey. And the Lord saw it, and it displeased him. The Bible's saying a time's coming, and I believe it's right now, when people do not tell the truth. And when those that want to speak truth are afraid to do so. The Bible says they'll become a prey if they dare mention the truth. Let me get to the point today. The world is about to enter into the greatest age of satanic temptation that has ever been in the history of mankind. It will be the culmination of what began when Lucifer fell. and what Lucifer continued in the Garden of Eden. In fact, everything the devil has begun throughout history is now coming together in one last act, one last rage of Satan. We know how the devil began. He began with lying. not the triune God, not our creator. He doesn't lie. The Bible says, if you look at your notes, Titus one, which God that cannot lie promised, but the devil, he began with lying and he's about to end with one great act of lying like never before. In fact, he will go down to hell lying. He has been preparing for this final act. for 6,000 years, and you are now, right now, young people, you are living in what is becoming and soon will be the final curtain opening, and you will see the biggest theatrical deception coming to this world that the world has ever seen, the biggest lie. that Satan has ever been able to muster. It is the final conflict, the final act, the final battle. And you've been given life by God. And if you're saved, you've been called to salvation in this final act of the drama. Amazing that you've been called to be alive right now. Satan began his career as the devil by lying. and he's gonna go down lying. It says in John 8, our Lord Jesus says, ye are of your father the devil, and the lust of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning and abode not in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own for he is a liar and the father of it. And he will have the son of Satan, the Antichrist is going to come to power very soon with a false prophet. The Antichrist spirit's already in the world. And Satan will be living through these two men, possessing them. And what will they do to the world? They will lie to the world. And their spirit's already manifesting right now. It says in Revelation 13, he doeth great wonders so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on earth in the sight of men and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast. This is what's called the false prophet. And together with the Antichrist, they're gonna do these miracles. It says in 2 Thessalonians 2, then shall that wicked, capital W, be revealed, that's the Antichrist, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming. Even him whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs, and listen to this, lying wonders. Lying wonders. The Antichrist is gonna bring lying wonders. I believe his spirit's already working in the world with some of these lying wonders to some degree. And it says, with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish, because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause, God shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie, Satan's last lie. I'm sure it's all connected with you are evolving to be a God. That if you just follow the Antichrist, you can be a God and we can have peace on earth. The aliens have come to show us how to have peace on earth. It's just gonna be a mass deception. And already you can see this is in the world today. Now we need to ask something. What does the Bible mean by lying wonders? And I believe it can mean three things. I believe it really means all three of these things. Number one, the sign is fake. It's deceitful. What you're seeing is based on trickery. It's a sleight of hand. It's not a supernatural power. It's all just a trick. That's what lying wonder can mean. But the second thing it can mean is that it is real in one sense. That is, it is a supernatural power beyond man's ability. And it's not necessary to try to discern all of the exact differences between Satan's supernatural power and God's supernatural powers, but I do want you to understand some important differences. Satan's power, though much greater than that of man, is extremely limited when compared to God's power. Satan is nothing compared to God. There is no contest. God sends an angel to bind Satan and throw him into hell at his coming. God just says the word and Satan's going to hell. Do you know that? In the book of Job, Satan had to appear before God and give an account. And God tells him how far he can go. Satan's power is limited. Satan's not God. It's not that you have God and then you have this equal power Satan. That's wicked. That is not even close to the truth. Satan is nothing compared to God. If you showed him on a graph, Satan's power and God's power, Satan's power wouldn't even show up. They're not comparable. When Satan worked through the sorcerers of Egypt, They could do some wonders before Pharaoh by satanic power, but they stopped short. This was manifest to everybody to show you that Satan's power is not greater than God's power. It's not even equal to it. Look at Exodus 8. It says, the magicians did so with their enchantments and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt. They use supernatural power, but look at verse 18. And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not. Then the magician said unto Pharaoh, this is the finger of God. We can't duplicate this. This is God's power. It's greater than our power. That's what I want you to always realize, that whatever Satan does, whatever God permits him to do, I'm gonna tell you, it is nothing compared. to God's power. Greater is He that is within you than he that is in the world. Now, look at this prophecy that Paul gives us in 2 Timothy 3. Now, as Janice and Jambres withstood Moses, those are those sorcerers in the days of Moses, so do these also resist the truth. Men of corrupt minds reprobate concerning the faith, but listen to verse nine, but they shall proceed no further for their folly shall be manifest unto all men as theirs also was. Here's what this means in the last days. These people, these devils, these sorcerers that oppose God in the last days, will be manifest that their power is not anywhere near the power of God. They are weak compared to God. It says in Isaiah 41, show the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that you are God's. Yea, do evil, do good or do evil, that we may be dismayed and behold it together. Behold, you are of nothing and your work of not. An abomination is he that chooses you. Our God is saying in effect, impress me. You can't impress me, you're nothing. Nothing compared to God, nothing compared to God's power. God says a word and Satan goes to hell. And the devils know it. It says in Luke 8, these devils besought him, Jesus, that he would not command them to go out into the deep. It says in Matthew 8, and behold, they cried out saying, what have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou son of God? Art thou come hither to torment us before the time? They knew Jesus could just say the word and they go to hell. It says in James 2, thou believest there is one God, thou doest well. The devils also believe and tremble. They know God's power. All the devils of Satan know God's power. And it says in Revelation 12, woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea, for the devil has come down unto you having great wrath because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. So the devil's gonna open the curtain and appear on the stage for one last act, one last deception. So the second thing we see is that the lying wonder is supernatural, but it's way below God's power. The supernatural power is limited and weak compared to God's power. And the demonic supernatural power is used to put forth lies. It is a lying wonder, not because it isn't supernatural, but because it's used by Satan to bring people into false religion and false philosophy. Although the power goes beyond our natural world, it's still weak, erroneous. Deceptive prophet, for example, may seem to predict the future with amazing accuracy, but some details are always wrong. People say, Nostradamus, do you know he predicted Hitler? He called him Hister, but he got pretty close. What kind of power are we dealing with now? Satanic power, see. God gets it exact. Devil's power always will come up short. to show you the manifestation that this is not of God. God never misses. There's one last thing that I believe lying wonders refers to. Again, the wonder is supernatural. It's from devils, but it's not what it claims to be. And this can be a little more tricky to understand. A statue of Mary begins to cry and weep and even bleed. It may be trickery. It might just all be a trick by somebody. That's number one. That's a lying wonder. Number two, it could be demonic power. But the difference here is that the lie is what the devils are claiming is happening here. A statue of Mary begins to weep and cry and bleed. And they say, this is Mary who's upset, and she wants you all to join the Catholic church. No, that's not Mary. Mary's not wanting you to join the Catholic church. It's a lying wonder, you see what I'm saying? It's supernatural power, but the thing they are pretending is happening is not happening. And you better get ready for this now. The Martians that come down to earth and say they're Martians and that they're gonna help you evolve to Godhood, they're not really aliens. They're not Martians. They're not aliens in that sense. They're devils, see. It's a lying wonder. It's a supernatural power, but it's the devil masquerading as something he is not. I'm gonna tell you people, the past 60 years or so have been filled with lying wonders, all in preparation for the Antichrist. We have seen so much that people think they have seen, but it's all been staged. It's all been theater. If I asked you, do you believe this? Or do you believe that? Do you believe that this occurred in history? People say, oh yeah, I saw it on TV. I saw it on TV. How many movies and fake television have you seen from the time you were a toddler? But you say, well, I saw something. I saw the video. This is what they say happened. The nations are mad, gullible. But what's happening now is the powers that be are losing, on one hand, some of their power to deceive, because they've been caught so much. But yet the technology is increasing to deceive you. So it's kind of balancing out to some degree. But a lot of the people no longer believe what they're seeing. They said, no, you've been lying to us too much. We're not gonna continue to believe this mess. And H.G. Wells said in the 1920s in his book, Open Conspiracy, that when the people no longer believe the conspiracies, when they no longer believe the propaganda, I'm sorry, they'll have to try to use violence. How many times have deceivers in the government been caught? And now they have CGI. And they've probably had it before you had it. Tabitha, just the other day, played a joke upon me. Isn't that shameful on her poor papa? She sent me a video with a text message that says, oh no, a pipe busted. I didn't even play the video because I could see that the video showed our floor, our sink, our kitchen with about this much water that was all in waves. I didn't even play the video. I could tell by looking at the actual screen of the video where it shows you to play that this was horrible. I just said, find out where the water's coming from, sweetie. Find it. Just try to find, just try to turn it off somewhere. I mean, it was up to your knees in water. I mean, it was horrible. It was a horrible thing to see. And then I call her up and say, baby, why aren't you turning it off? And she was acting so strange and then she began to laugh. Isn't that terrible? Oh, that's terrible. That's terrible. But it looked so real before I even played the video. How long have they had this technology? Body doubles, politicians with body doubles. I mean, just all of this stuff out here, it's hard to really know what to believe. I don't want you chasing every conspiracy. We need to win souls, amen? We need to concentrate on the work that God has us to do. Build a church, win souls, build a church, disciple people. But we gotta be skeptical, not of God, not of the Bible, but we gotta be skeptical of man in these last days of satanic wonders. Everything's preparing for Satan's last act, his last lie. I think before too long, you'll see how much we have been lied to. So we have to test all things, prove all things. 2 Timothy 3 put it this way. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou has learned and has been assured of, knowing of whom thou has learned them. Listen to this now. The things that you know that you know from the word of God, stick with it. but you need to know that it came from the Bible and not from man. He says, verse 15, that from a child thou has known the Holy Scriptures. And he goes on to tell us that they're given by inspiration of God. And Timothy didn't have the original manuscripts there. You need to think about that. We have the preserved word of God right now, and it's Holy Scripture. People say, you believe that authorized version is God's word? You better believe I believe it is. And I'm sticking with it in these last days. Take a look at 2 Peter. 2 Peter 1. Peter says, we have not followed cunningly devised fables when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. That was on the Mount of Transfiguration. They saw a picture or shall we say a foretaste of the second coming. They saw the majesty of the Lord. For he received from God the Father honor and glory when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory. This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased. And this voice which came from heaven we heard when we were with him in the Holy Mount." So he tells us, I heard with my own ears, God talking to Jesus. He says, I saw the Lord Jesus transfigured in his majesty. But look at verse 19. something greater than the eye, greater than the ear. He says in verse 19, we have also a more sure word of prophecy. Where into you do well that you take heed as into a light that shineth in a dark place. What I'm trying to tell you people is that though everything begins to shake, though you don't know who to believe, and you don't know what authorities to believe, and everything seems to be just one giant lie, I'm gonna tell you, isn't it beautiful that in this dark place, and it's growing darker, isn't it beautiful that we have the book of God, the inspired scriptures, the holy scriptures that are perfect, and they are prophesying everything that's going on here? I mean, God's not in shock. God's not surprised. All of this is right on time, folks. And we have the perfect word of God. And it's more sure than something you could see with your own eyes. We need to think about that, people. We need to think about it. Bible prophecy will come to pass. All scripture is true. You know what I hate? I hate the NIV because it says, Not that we have also a more sure word of prophecy. If you go through the NIV and the new Bibles, anywhere you have certainty or reason or anything that's sure or infallible proof, it gets rid of it. Paul says that we might be saved from unreasonable men, not in an NIV. God says, come let us reason together, not in an NIV. The Bible says, study to show yourself approved, not in an NIV. The Bible says we also have a more sure word of prophecy, not in an NIV. The NIV says we also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable. Do you know a broken scale can be reliable? But it's not true. Every time you step on it, it's gonna give the same weight. But it's not correct, it's not valid. Psalms 1116 says, he has showed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen. The works of his hands are verity and judgment. All his commandments are sure. It doesn't matter if people leave God's commandments. It doesn't matter if people say, we don't believe that anymore. God's commandments are sure. And when he tells you you're gonna have curses if you don't follow him, you won't have rest for your souls. I tell you, in the end, it's always gonna be God that's right. In the end, no matter what they change. Back in the 1940s, Spock and a bunch of psychologists said, don't discipline your children. It'll make it worse for them. you'll ruin them. By the 1960s, articles in the New York Times by sociologists and psychologists began to say in 1969, spank them. We were wrong. Look at what's happening in the world today. We told you this, we were wrong. God's always right. You know what they said? They said, we have evidence that fathers don't matter. Fathers are to go out here and make some money. And that's really the only purpose you have. We could do away with fathers and it wouldn't make any difference to children. Now, even the world has looked at study after study of their research. And they said, we had no idea how important fathers were for the development of children. Their very boldness, their confidence, their ability to excel, everything falling on this father. Hey man, I'm telling you something. God is always right. You just go ahead and leave what God said. You'll regret it later. You'll regret it. His commandments are sure, people. God's ways are sure. His prophecies are sure. And that wicked NIV says they're trustworthy. Hey, I like sure better than trustworthy. I know God's trustworthy, but hey, God's sure, buddy. I'm sure that God's sure. Let me read you one more verse before we close. Romans chapter four. Paul through the Holy Ghost says, therefore it is of faith that it might be by grace to the end that the promise might be sure to all to see. Do you know if salvation was anything to do with works in eternity? It wouldn't be sure for anybody. I'm telling you right now, nobody would have it. Nobody. You know, the only perfect man that's ever lived and not sinned is the Lord Jesus Christ, the son of God, God in the flesh. But if it had anything to do with you, other than you just receiving God's grace, it wouldn't be sure for anybody. But it says it's a faith by grace. so that this wonderful promise will be sure. You have it. If you know you're a sinner and you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, that he's lived a perfect life for you, that you could never live. And he shed his blood and was punished in your place. If you believe that, I'm sure by the infallible scriptures that you have eternal life. We can't be sure what the government says or what the experts say. We can't be sure what they are telling us is right or wrong. But if we shine the light of the scriptures, we can be sure what God has said. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. I'm sure of that. Jesus Christ is the son of God. He lived a perfect life and paid fully for our sins on the cross. I'm sure of that. And I'm sure of something else. I'm sure that he commanded us It wasn't a suggestion. It was a command that after we're saved, that we go, that we go and tell others the good news of this gospel. I'm sure he commanded that to us. He commanded his church. He commanded us individually through the local church to go out here and win souls and get them baptized in the church. and then teach him all of his commandments that they may grow in Christ. I'm sure of that. And I'm also sure of this, that the Lord wants us to do this because we love God. He wants us to do this because we love souls. We don't want to see them perish. But I'm also sure that God wants us to do it because he said, you better do it. There's rewards for us if we will get out here and lead people to Christ and get them discipled. And there's also some negative rewards. And God doesn't lie. He's basically saying, it's not gonna go good for you if you don't get out here and go sowing. And if you say, I don't know what you're talking about, preacher. Look at Ezekiel three, if the watchman And right now, you're not a pastor necessarily, but I tell you, many that are listening out here, you're saved. And in one sense, you see what the lost do not see. You see what's coming when they don't see it. So he says, if the watchman doesn't give the word, the blood will be on the watchman's head because he didn't sound the alarm. Read about Jonah. Now, Jonah thought he had a good reason, but he decided he's not gonna warn Nineveh, and you look what happened to Jonah. He ended up in the well's belly. Bad things happened to Jonah. See, God'll shake up your apple cart, man. I tell you, God'll give you a shake. You're not gonna have rest for your soul if you're not a soul winner, okay? And I know it can be uncomfortable. You say, boy, this person don't wanna hear what I'm about to say. You might be surprised. Start talking to them, go deep with them. Give them the gospel and invite them to church. Tell them about the command to get baptized. And with that, brother, let's close. And we're gonna have a glorious baptism of this brother and sister. Dear Holy Father, we thank you for your goodness. We thank you for the work you're doing, the amazing mercies and grace that you have given us, Lord. the wonderful possibilities that are before us. We thank you that you're coming as soon, God. Let us be found laboring, Lord. Let us be found working, giving out that meat in due season as a faithful servant, Lord. We want to win souls, God. Not to brag and boast, but because they need to be saved, Lord. They're perishing. And we love you. We thank you for these dear folks and all who may hear this message. Thank you for the glorious gospel. Thank you that we can believe you, Lord. In Jesus' holy name, amen.
