You have happiness. You shout at us every week and you say you've got happiness. There's no peace for the wicked. The Bible says, there is no peace, says my God, unto the wicked. The wicked are like the troubled sea that casts up mire and dirt. There is no peace, says my God, to the wicked. These people who say, peace be upon him, peace be upon them, they have no peace. That's why they argue with the Lord at all.
But we are not here to argue today. The reason why we are here today is to invite you to come to the Saviour of the world. There is only one Saviour of sinners. And here you have it. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.
Now the problem is this, that if you die in your sin, you'll be cut off from God forever. Because God is a holy God. God is a righteous God. God has no sin in His presence. There'll be no wine like rivers flowing in heaven. There'll be no 72 virgins that you'll have in heaven. Heaven is a holy place. Heaven is a place where there is no sin. And the one who has come to bring you into the peace of God is Jesus Christ. He alone is the Prince of Peace. It's preaching. That Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace. That's why we don't say, Peace be upon Him. Because the peace that you and I need comes from God. It comes from Jesus Christ.
And Jesus said, peace I leave with you. It's in John chapter 14. Jesus said, peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you, not as the world gives, give I unto you. And the peace that Jesus Christ gives is the peace that He knows for He's Himself and the Father. That everlasting peace that God, being the God of peace, has brought through Jesus Christ. And that is why Jesus Christ said, peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you, not as the world gives, give I unto you. And the peace, the peace that you need today, is the blood of Jesus Christ has made peace. That's why we are inviting you to come into the kingdom of God, to come out of the darkness of sin, to come into the light of God's holy presence.
God cannot have fellowship with you in your sin. You have no fellowship with God. You have no relationship with God. But in Jesus Christ we are brought nearer by the blood of Christ. Because the life of the flesh is in the blood. And it's the blood, God said to Moses, that makes atonement for the soul. Not your works, not your fasting, not your Ramadan, not your Hajj, not your pilgrimages to Rome or Mecca or anywhere else. It's the blood of Jesus. I have given it to you. God said, I have given you the blood upon your altar to make an atonement for your soul. That makes atonement for the soul. It's not your words, darling. It's the blood of Jesus. that the Lord has made atonement. The atonement, the way of peace with God, is through the blood, not of animal sacrifices, but of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, that takes away the sin of the world.
Christ Jesus was willing to come from heaven into a world of sin, to save us from sin, to save us from that which separates a man from God. That is sin. If you die in your sin, you'll get You are all bloody sinners! God is calling people to repentance. God is calling you today. Maybe you've never heard the voice of God, as Adam and Eve knew the voice of God, walking with them in the cool of the day. And when Adam and Eve had sinned against God, they were naked to their shame. And they tried to hide away from the voice of God. And when they heard the voice of God walking in the cool of the day, when they heard the voice of God, they were afraid. That's the first time we read of man being afraid. When man had sinned against God, he was afraid because he had done that which he should not have done. And that is why death came, because of sin. And death was on all men. All sin is everlasting burning. The fire that was prepared for the devil and his angels.
And everyone who saw it, everyone who saw it, came there cheering.
Out of the love of Christ, we call you to come to the Saviour. Come to the Lord Jesus. Come out of your sin today. Come out of your fornication. Come out of your adulteries. Come out of your lying. Come out of your deception. Come out of your blasphemy. Come out of your sin. Sin is darkness. And Jesus Christ is the light of the world. And the light shines in the darkness. And the darkness has not comprehended it. When Jesus Christ, the Word of God, came into this world, we are told that He is the light that lightens every man that comes into this world. The very reason that you and I have to be reasonable people, not to be argumentative, not to be riotous like this man. But the very reason why we can reason together is because Jesus Christ, the light of the world, came. And he is the light that lightens or gives man his reason. Even you natural people who have not been saved from your sin. Jesus Christ is the light of life.
And God says this in Isaiah chapter 1. God says, come now and let us reason together. The very logic of God, the logic that there is in mathematics, and the logic that there is in this world, is God reasoning with us. And how does God reason with us? On the basis of our sins being read like crimson. on the basis of our sins being as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. That's what Jesus Christ does. He comes to reason with us. How does he reason with us? On the basis that we have sinned, that we have come short of the glory of God, that we are unrighteous. And God is willing to be merciful to every one of you. who will only come before God as a sinner and say, I have sinned, I've sinned against your holy majesty and I'm not worthy to be called your son. To come to God as a broken hearted sinner is the only way of approach to God.
And Jesus Christ will not turn anyone away who believes that his sacrifice, that his cross What happened on the cross was that Jesus Christ paid the penalty to the holy justice of an infinitely holy God. And only He could pay it because He's the only infinite one, the infinite Son of God. That's why He paid an infinite penalty, not a finite penalty. If He'd just been a man, He could have only paid a finite penalty. But because He's the Eternal, Word of God. The eternal Son of God. He paid an infinite penalty. And He hung there. He was carrying away all the righteous anger of a holy God against sin. That's what He came to do. To put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. That's love. That is not the LGBTQ love. That is divine love. That is sacred. That is sacrificial love.
That love, this is love we are told in the writing of one of the eyewitnesses of Jesus Christ. This is love. Not that we loved God, but that God first loved us and gave his Son. to be the propitiation, the mercy seat, the satisfaction. Propitiation is the mercy seat. The blood was sprinkled on the mercy seat. And Christ Jesus is the propitiation for our sin, and not for ours only, but also the sin of the whole world, so that whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, shall be delivered, shall be saved, and shall never be separated from God again.
However great your sin may be, it's not bigger than the atoning blood of Jesus Christ. The power of the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sin. Not from some sin, but from all sin. And it makes no difference how great a sinner you may be today.
Christ died for our sins. And he was buried. And he rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. Because it is impossible for God to lie. God cannot lie. And Jesus Christ rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. It is written. And the devil knows that he is overcome by the written Word of the living God.
Every time Jesus spoke to the devil, he said, it is written. The devil knows the power of the written Word of God. And that's what causes Satan to flee when the Word of God is preached. Don't ever underestimate the power of the preaching of the Word of God. It's pleading God to save people by preaching. That's how God saves people, by the preaching of the Gospel.
Because for those who do this, it is foolishness. But for those of us who believe, To those of us who are saved, Christ has shed His own blood for the remission of sin. And our sin has been laid on Him, the spotless Lamb of God. And now we have no fear of everlasting burnings. All the wicked shall go to the place of everlasting burnings. That is the second death. But Jesus Christ has saved us from our second death.
And Christ is coming again to judge this world in righteousness. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Amen. Jesus Christ is the Saviour of the world. Jesus said, whoever falls on this stone, speaking of himself, whoever falls on this stone will be broken, but whoever this stone falls on will be ground to powder.
Charles, Jesus Christ will grind you to powder if you do not believe on Him. Why do you want to go in the blood of Christ? No Jesus is to know that I am from the dead. That's why we must preach this gospel. We don't want anybody to go to hell. I love everybody here in the Lord Jesus Christ. If I preach a hard message, it's because I desire that every single person here would find that salvation that comes from God, would find everlasting life, would find the mercy of God, the goodness of God, the salvation of God.
Oh my friend, you have an undying soul. Islam will only damn you to hell. Islam can never save you, never take away your sin, never give you everlasting life. Islam cannot reconcile you to Almighty God. Only the blood of Jesus Christ can do that. He died for sinners. The Lord Jesus Christ loved me and died for me. He gave himself for me. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. Amen.
