I believe we are going to need to know the words to the Second Amendment. A well-regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. I want for us to understand that the amendments to the Constitution do not grant us our rights. I believe they protect our rights under God according to scripture. I want to give you an example, a couple of examples here in relation to scripturally the right to bear arms. First of all, I want you to understand that in Israel at times a foreign power took the right to bear arms from them. An example of this is found in 2 Samuel chapter 13. When the Philistines had power over Israel, it says in verse 19 and following, Now there was no smith found throughout all the land of Israel. For the Philistines said, lest the Hebrews make them swords or spears. But all the Israelites went down to the Philistines to sharpen every man his share, and his colter, and his axe, and his mattock. Yet they had a file for the mattocks, and for the coulters, and for the forks, and for the axes, and to sharpen the goads. So it came to pass in the day of battle that there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people that were with Saul and Jonathan, but with Saul and with Jonathan his son that was there found." I also think of the time when the Lord Jesus was preparing to go to the cross. And it says in Luke chapter 22, Verses 35 and following, and he said unto them, When I sent you without purse and scrip and shoes, lacked ye anything? And they said, Nothing. Then said he unto them, But now he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip. And he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me. And he was reckoned among the transgressors. For the things concerning me have an end. And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough. The phrase, it is enough, speaks of it being sufficient and adequate. Now in Donald Trump's first presidency, I have an audio that I want you to hear, and I want you to understand that Donald Trump is anti-Second Amendment. I want for us to see and understand what we can expect as far as the Second Amendment and our rights to bear arms and protect our families. Listen to what Donald Trump said in a meeting. And Mike Pence begins the conversation with this as Donald Trump explains his position on taking guns early. Yes, go ahead, Mike. Well, in the category — you've spoken about it, Mr. President — gun violence restraining orders. They're called. California actually has a version of this. And I think you — in your meeting with governors earlier this week, individually and as a group, we spoke about states taking steps. But the focus is to literally give families and give local law enforcement additional tools if an individual is reported to be a potential danger to themselves or others. Allow due process, so no one's rights are trampled, but the ability to go to court, obtain an order, and then collect not only the firearms, but any weapons. Or might take the firearms first and then go to court, because that's another system. Because a lot of times by the time you go to court, it takes so long to go to court to get the due process procedures. I like taking the guns early, like in this crazy man's case that just took place in Florida. He had a lot of firearms. They saw everything. To go to court would have taken a long time. So you could do exactly what you're saying, but take the guns first, go through due process second. I want to highlight, Donald Trump said, I like taking the guns early. Then he emphasizes, take the guns first, go through due process second. So they're going to infringe on one amendment, the second, while they're waiting to enforce the fourth and so on. Here's the fourth amendment. The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures shall not be violated and no warrants shall issue but upon probable cause supported by oath or affirmation and particularly describing the place to be searched and the persons or things to be seized. So Donald Trump believes that you can take the guns, you can seize guns early as you're waiting for due process. Also, the Fifth Amendment says, no person shall be held to answer for a capital or otherwise infamous crime unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger. Nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb. nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law, nor shall private property be taken for public use without just compensation. Again, I want to emphasize this Fifth Amendment that they are talking about here as far as this due process. nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law. I also want to mention the 14th Amendment because of Pam Bondi that I'm going to mention here in a moment. The 14th Amendment that was adopted in 1868 has this statement as far as the states in Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States. Listen to this. Nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property without due process of law, nor deny to any person within its jurisdictions the equal protection of the laws. Now, I mentioned this because Donald Trump's nomination for the Department of Justice after Matt Gaetz withdrew his name is Pam Bondi. She's a former attorney general for the state of Florida. Pam Bondi, of course, has been nominated for the head of the Department of Justice. And as you think about the Attorney General and the Department of Justice, they have authority over unconstitutional agencies like these. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives. The Federal Bureau of Investigation. I want you to remember that, think about that, because I'm going to mention something else in a moment here. National Security Division, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Antitrust Division. According to Wikipedia, the Justice Department oversees the domestic enforcement of federal laws and the administration of justice. So the question I have is, why Pam Bondi and not one of the other state attorney generals who support the Second Amendment? In an article in The Intercept, November 22nd, it was emphasized that Pam Bondi was a lobbyist, as recently as 2019, for GEO Group. GEO Group is a publicly traded corporation. And they invest in private prisons and mental health facilities. Here's why I mentioned this. Again, the Department of Justice has authority and oversight over the Federal Bureau of Prisons. So there's no conflict of interest here, apparently. Their stock soared more than 100% in the weeks following Donald Trump's selection to be president because of Trump's promise of mass deportations of illegal immigrants. and because of the contracts that would go to private companies for processing millions of people out of the country. It's estimated that the GEO Group would see an increase of $400 million a year. Thus, we understand why their stock soared. The Justice Department has been an important client of GEO, GEO Group, Geo Group has operated detention facilities for the United States Marshals Service, and their jails hold people awaiting a criminal trial. Pam Bondi also has done work for Amazon and Uber. The Attorney General's Office oversees the Antitrust Division. I mentioned that a moment ago. So there's no conflict of interest here. As Pam Bondi has done work for Amazon and Uber, the Biden administration sued Apple, Google, and others for operating illegal monopolies. Amazon, one of Bondi's clients, also faced an antitrust lawsuit from the Federal Trade Commission. So the question we should ask is, whose interest would Bondi represent in an antitrust case? Bondi was also part of Trump's defense in his impeachment charges in 2019. Is that one of the reasons why she's high on Donald Trump's list? And she was a lobbyist for Qatar at $115,000 a month. I remind you of a previous lesson that I gave, a recent podcast, in which I mentioned an executive order that Donald Trump reversed on his last day in office. And one of the things that was mentioned in that executive order was not doing lobbying on behalf of a foreign government. Now, praise for Pam Bondi abounds. As an example, Lindsey Graham. Well done, Mr. President. Picking Pam Bondi for Attorney General is a grand slam, touchdown, hole-in-one, ace, hat trick, slam dunk, Olympic gold medal pick. She will be confirmed quickly because she deserves to be confirmed quickly. So I want you to consider what Pam Bondi is going to introduce as Attorney General based on what she has already said and based on her work as the Florida Attorney General. Pam Bondi, Attorney General of Florida and Mayor, thank you. I know you're going through a lot now. President, she was there that night with me. I think you were there with me until 3.30 in the morning when all these families were being notified and it was horrific. So I know you've been through a lot. So thank you so much. I have a couple issues that I'll wait and talk about them now. Well, one, it addresses some of the things you said. In Florida, it's called the Baker Act, but it's our Civil Commitment Act, and it's weak. And it's about 1,000 pages long, and I've had my solicitor general on it for Four days three days now working on it. We're rewriting it along with Governor Scott who's you're gonna meet with him He's gonna give you a ton of good information We've been rewriting it and we are going to bring in something called the gun violence restraining order So if someone is civilly committed for and typically you can hold them for up to 72 hours But people are getting out within 24 hours the majority of them So what we want to do is let law enforcement come in and take the guns good. They are a danger to themselves You can't do right now Well, because without being adjudicated, so because they're a danger to themselves. You want them to take the guns and not go through six months of legal trials and everything. Exactly. But we also have to give the mentally ill the due process in which they deserve, President. So what we're doing is They're going to be able to take the guns when they're taken into custody or into the hospital. And then when they're released, within 24 hours or 72 hours later, typically it's 24 hours, but law enforcement will have 72 hours to determine whether they should give those guns back or they can go to a judge and say, your honor, please keep these guns. We feel this person is still a danger. to himself or others, whether they're in or out of custody. So this would not have worked the way it's currently constituted? This would not have worked with Cruz as it's currently constituted? As it's currently written. So you're going to make changes? We're going to make changes. And one other thing we're doing about the reporting, President, which is huge, this is a big issue, we need a clearinghouse. And that's what we've all been discussing. And we have created, and several of my counterparts have done it around the country, but we're the biggest state doing it. It's an app, because kids now are on social media. And there were so many warning signs on Snapchat, on Twitter, on Instagram, and they were sending them to all different sources. We're going to have, and we just got it written in our House and Senate budget, it'll cost at least half a million dollars a year to fund this. But what it does, kids, and so I met with 10 students, and they loved it. And they said, I'm empowering them. Three of them are my graphic designers. They're going to design the icon. Some are going to name it. They're helping us with it. But it'll cost probably about $100,000 maximum to develop. That's all in our budget. So what kids can do now, they can automatically send something that says, I'm going to buy a gun, just like Cruz was doing. I'm going to do this. I'm going to do this. And one of the girls who I met with, one of the students, told me he had been doing this since middle school. He had bullied her, and she reported it. So it will all, they can instantly, and they can do it with anonymity. Put it in this app. It'll go in the app, and it'll go to one clearinghouse with state law enforcement in Florida. AF Post News, and I want to give you a statement about their mission, help us to understand this next quote that I give you. AF Post has this mission online, to articulate the ideas, beliefs, and values of the America First movement. By informing and educating, we shall sow the seeds of a new conservative movement because America first is the future of the America, right? Based on AF post news. and their mission that's posted online, they had this X tweet. Trump's incoming attorney general, Pam Bondi, says American students who protest Israel should be taken out of the country or subject to FBI interviews. I remind you that Pam Bondi in the Justice Department will oversee the FBI. So the question I have in relation to this is in relation to the anti-Semitism bills, that would make preaching the gospel illegal, to make preaching the Word of God illegal. I've talked about this on several occasions. So the question I have is this, if Pam Bondi is our Attorney General and oversees the Justice Department, our preachers, who preach about the Jews demanding Christ be crucified going to be subjected to FBI interviews if and when Pam Bondi becomes Attorney General. I believe that's something very real we need to be asking. So why is it that there's very little reporting of gang violence, gangs shooting one another in Chicago, New York City, wherever it is? It's because it doesn't promote their anti-second amendment agenda. But you have a crazy white man and all of a sudden it's blasted across the news. We have Muslims and Arabs committing crimes against Americans, against Jews. And all of a sudden there's all kinds of news reporting about those events. Something else I want for us to understand and consider, though, is the right time for using a weapon. After Jesus says, sell your garment and buy a sword, this is what takes place in the rest of the chapter in Luke 22, verses 47 through 52. And while he had spake, behold, a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the 12, went before them and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him. But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss? When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword? And one of them smote the servant," and of course we know this is Peter in the other gospel accounts, and one of them smote the servant of the high priest and cut off his right ear. And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear and healed him. One of the things I've been preaching right now is the fact that Jesus Christ was always moving toward His hour when He would suffer on the cross. Jesus Christ did not offer an earthly kingdom. He did not offer Himself as an earthly king in His first coming. He came to proclaim the truth and to die as a sacrifice, shedding His blood on the cross. I want you to understand the right time for using weapons, to protect our families, for self-defense. Throughout the book of Acts, there was no armed resistance for what they believed. Ephesians chapter 6, I believe, is going to be very real, as it has been in other places around the world for centuries, and even greatly here in recent years. Ephesians 6 verse 10, Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore, take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness, and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, taking the shield of faith wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. and take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. Take the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. Now, as a pastor, I believe very strongly that a church has a right before God to protect its people from some violence that takes place in the church house. We're seeing more and more of this in our day. I believe these are false flag events. Am I saying that no one ever dies? No one is ever wounded. I am not saying that. But they are using these types of events in schools and churches and public places, malls or whatever. They're using these things to promote their anti-Second Amendment agenda. Why? Because they know they need to take our weapons in order to continue their agenda in their new world order. But I remind you, there is no evidence of someone defending themselves with a weapon for what they believe. I believe we are going to need discernment in these last days, in these next four years, to understand how we are to respond to these types of situations. But if it comes down to a point where I am forced to renounce what I believe and change what I preach, or die, or go to jail, I will suffer the consequences for taking a stand for the Lord Jesus Christ. Again, we need to be praying for wisdom and discernment and right judgment in these last days as we understand and perceive what is coming in the future.
