Almighty God, we thank you, Lord, that we do have peace for now, as Christians, the way you spoil us, that we can worship and call on your name in peace and in safety. We pray, dear God, that we never take it for granted, that we understand how much our brothers and sisters around the world suffer just for calling on your name. We pray, dear God, that today the real, not the fake one, the real Holy Spirit would be in this building and would seal the doors and help us to hear your word and not to glorify ourselves, but to glorify you through your word and through an open heart. And we pray dear God that more than anything, that we wouldn't just glorify you for the short amount of time that we're in this building. When we leave here today, we would be doers of the word and obey and glorify You in our lives. We thank You, Lord, in the name of Your Son, the only King in all the earth, Jesus Christ, amen. Now we're continuing our sermon series, which is America, Repent, Obey, and Revive. And like we've spoken about before, you have seminars on revival, you have books on revival, cassette tapes. You have many opinions on revival. But what we're starting to point out is that if the revival you want is to glorify you or just to save the things that you have, that's not revival. When God says he will not glorify another beside himself, he means that. And when people are trying to revive humanism or self-worship, or a false worship, he won't revive that. And one of the main problems we have today, it's not those outside the church, like we've said before. Our main enemy, it's not Islam. It's not the homosexual movement. It's not evolutionists. It's not the atheists. It's the church. It's the church becoming weak. It's the church becoming humanistic, turning into a time of worship where we worship ourselves, and our own needs instead of glorifying God. And as we've said before, ideas do have consequences. If you believe something long enough and focus on it, you will eventually behave that way. Now one thing we always need, and we spoke about that to get the ball rolling in our spiritual lives, whether you're saved, whether you're saved, or you just became saved, or you're looking to be right with God, it all starts with repentance. Repentance is not only for those outside God's family. It's also for those inside God's family. And we also spoke about this. Most of your prayer time is God I want, God I need. How about God I'm sorry? God I screwed up. Coming before him like a child. Lord, make me right again with you. Now these things sound blasphemous. Many Christians are even uncomfortable hearing things like this said, and then we read Psalm 51. We always pull out Scripture to back up what we're saying. David knew God. David was God's anointing. And when David sinned, he was saved, and he was definitely in God's covenant because he was anointed, his anointed king. When David sinned, he fell before God and repented. We forget that. And then after repentance, there has to become a living faith, an obedient faith. This is also blasphemous today in the modern evangelical church, obedience. I'm no one's slave. Oh, yes, you are. Paul actually said the thing he's most proud of was to be Christ's slave. So we've let all this humanism and pride And all this stuff from the world make its way into the church. And that's why we're suffering now. Now the title of today's sermon is Jihad, Pharisees, and Humanism. What do they all have in common? You say, wait a minute, Jihad, like we just had those horrendous attacks that occurred in Paris. And then we have the faith that the Pharisees had. And then we have this humanistic faith where man glorifies himself. What does this all have to do with each other? Pastor, again, you're grabbing for straws. But I'm not, because they all have the same foundation, self-worship. It looks like godly worship. You might have a zeal for what you call God, but if That's your definition of God. Will you worship and glorify yourself, brother, sister? You have the wrong God. You don't have the God of the Bible. Now let's see why some of these documents throughout church history were written and what made them so valuable. I have something today, chapter 21 from the Westminster Confession of Faith, but I'm going to show you why these confessions of faith and not just something we memorize, and then don't apply them. It's not just dead material, dead things that were written. They were written to push us to the Word of God and to show us something. Now you think we don't need guidance today in the church? You don't think we need to get back to the old ways? What are we told of religious worship and the Sabbath day? The light of nature showeth that there is a God who hath lordship and sovereignty over all. is good and doeth good unto all, and is therefore to be feared, loved, praised, called upon, trusted in, and served with all the hearth and with all the soul and with all the might. But the acceptable way of worshipping the true God is instituted by Himself. You don't make it up. He tells you in the Word how He wants to be worshipped. And so limited by His own revealed will, that he may not be worshipped according to the imaginations and devices of men or the suggestions of Satan under any visible representation or any other way not prescribed in the Holy Scripture. You don't think we need this today? We just had eight people killed over a hundred people in Paris and swear they were worshipping God in the correct way. Allahu Akbar! That's what they screamed as they detonated the bombs strapped to their bodies. And as they shot people, they swear that they were serving God. Now I'll tell you why, if you tell the truth now, as a pastor, you will suffer. Because we uncover all sin the way we're supposed to. Let us not be hypocrites. We want to criticize the Muslims for saying Allahu Akbar and thinking that they're serving God for what they did. But how many apostate, disgusting churches around Europe right now support abortion? Which has killed more people than just 100 on a day of a terrorist attack. They don't take me as insensitive. What happened is disgusting. And it's horrendous. I'm not defending what happened. I'm just saying, let us all look at our sin. It's all humanism. If I walk into a church, like some of these churches, these evangelical Lutheran churches, they had a whole prayer meeting for Planned Parenthood, saying God bless the doctors for the work that they do. Killing people. Killing children. So let us not be hypocrites. Let us all look at the way we worship. It is all interconnected. God prescribed the way He wanted to be worshipped and followed, and it's not for you to make it up. We all do this at times. So we want revival. We want it in our own lives. We want it in our nation. We want it in our community. Repent, and then learn obedience. Do you know worship is an act of faith? It's also an act of obedience? Oh, come on. Oh, we worship God any way we want? We weren't commanded to worship in a certain way? Should I pray to the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, and Mother Goddess during worship? Why don't I do that? Because I was commanded not to. You need to know the word. Obedience is the mark of true repentance. Not perfection. Obedience. You screw up, you repent, you get back on track. That's true repentance. The truly penitent wish to obey God. They want to obey God and they want to follow God. And the scripture references that I had given, the first one was Acts chapter 26. And we're going to see through Paul, in the New Testament, the message was the same to the Jew and to the Gentile when Christ was on this earth. It's one message to all men. And it's summarized in verses 19 through 20. Now remember the context. Paul is speaking to a king, King Agrippa. Did he back down? Did he change his words? Is he like many of the ministers we have today? They're going to be at the ordination of a president and all of a sudden they get all warm and fuzzy and forget about his policies on abortion and same-sex marriage and all these other things? All the heretics that we bring into the presidency and swear they're Christians? And no, I'm not just talking about Obama. Baby Bush was first. So I don't think I'm picking on a political party. They're all demonic. I'm a political atheist. I believe in God. I don't believe in politicians. Amen. Verses 19 through 20. What does Paul say? Am I lying? Whereupon, O King Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision, but showed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they, what, just believe? Look at the scripture. What does Paul say? He says, just believe on Jesus? What does it start with? This was to the Jew first and then to the Gentile. That they should repent and turn to God and do works. Oh, another dirty word. Do works meet for repentance. This is deep into the New Testament. This is not a new message. This is for both Jew and Gentile, all the way in Acts chapter 26. Because it's abbreviated at times, the Gospel, and we only see believed, doesn't mean it doesn't start with repentance. We see it right here. Here's Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles. We heard Peter say it, the apostle to the Jews. It starts with repentance, a true turning from your sin. A real repentance before God. As we spoke about last week. I go out, I murder somebody. Now a pastor comes to me in jail. Oh, don't you feel bad about what you did? Yeah, I feel horrible. I wrecked my family. I wrecked my life. That's not repentance! And we do this all the time with people. Oh, I feel so bad for you. Look at the way you're ruining your life. You know, just a little bit of Jesus would fix everything. Oh, you know, maybe you're right. That's not repentance. That's not the gospel. You are a dog. You are outside the covenant. You're outside God's people. You need to acknowledge your sin, not to a pastor, not to a priest, not to your mama, not to your papa, but for God. And Psalm 51 is our template for repentance. And who does David call on first when he's confessing his sin? God. before Thee, against Thee, and Thee only have I sinned. When you get that right, everything else falls into place. So we have a whole generation of kids and we appeal to them that way. Oh, you know you should do better? You're really ruining your life? How about you should do better, you spoiled brat, because you're sinning against God and if you don't watch yourself, you're going to be in a fiery place one day. So we correct no one. There's no true repentance. And we're definitely not going to push for obedience when we have a gospel like that. Now, we have a Jesus in this country. But it's the Jesus that's placed on bumper stickers. It's the Jesus that's on Trinity Broadcasting Network. It's the Jesus that the ministers bring when they swear in a new apostate president. That's the Jesus we have. You want to see the real Jesus? Oh, Jesus never condemned anyone. Never got angry with anyone. He's just a big cushion, big pillow, the Jesus pillow. If you need him, just give him a squeeze and everything will be fine. Well, that's why we go to the Word, just like the Westminster would push us to, or our Baptist confessions. They push us to the Word. Let's read it for ourselves. Matthew chapter 23. Yes, God is love, and God does love us. And God is there for you as soon as you turn to Him with an open heart. Regardless of what you did, He is there for you. But you have to turn to Him. What happens when you're proud? What happens when you think you got it, and you don't have it? Well, Jesus knows how to address wise guys. He's the King of the Universe. Let's listen to Him speak to the spiritual elite at His time. Now you tell me if this is seeker friendly, if I could do an Oprah Winfrey special with this piece of scripture. Matthew chapter 23. Then spake Jesus to the multitude and to his disciples saying, the scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe. That observe and do. But do not ye after their works, for they say and do not. For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be born, and lay them on men's shoulders, but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do for to be seen of men. They make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, and love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the Vatican, I'm sorry, in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets, and to be called of men rabbi, Rabbi, but be not ye called rabbi for one is your master even Christ and all ye are brethren And call no man your father upon the earth for one is your father, which is in heaven Neither he be called masters or one is your master even Christ on the side But he now you talk about a dirty verse today, but he that is greatest among you Shall be your servants And whoever shall exalt himself shall be abased, and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men, for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretense make long prayer, therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, you make him twofold more the child of hell than yourself. Because they said nice things, but they didn't obey what they said themselves. You need to be in obedience before God. Now why don't we do this? Why isn't this taught often? Because it hurts. It hurts me. I disobey God every week. But I repent. I'm not going to defend what I do. We all get caught up in this legalism. You know, even the church can become an idol. The church can be an idol. My family walks in here today. You see my kids, black eyes, bruises. My wife, part of the hair in her head is pulled out. Right? Hey, but he delivers a nice sermon. When I beat the living daylights out of my family, when we leave here in private, is God gonna accept that type of worship? But Lord, I perform miracles in your name. I cast out demons. And what's he gonna say? Get away from me. I never knew you, you worker of iniquity. Let's not get too involved with the show. Let's be real. Let's be real with one another in humbleness and in faith. God didn't ask me to be super fancy or perform miraculous things without taking care of the most important things that he commanded. Providing for my family, taking care of them. What does the Word say? You don't think we need some reform in the way we hand out money to people? A man who doesn't provide for his family is worse than an unbeliever. Try and say that today in some churches. As you give the same guy $50 every week who abandoned his family, but because he comes to the service or, you know, hands out a couple cans of soup, you just keep supporting him. Where does accountability come from? When is really, really getting to know people? Come in. And love them enough to correct them. I know the people who love me most in my life. They corrected me. They stood up to me. They confronted me. God confronts us because He loves you in His Word. Always stay with His Word. So we are to obey God according to His will. And not our own. Study the Scriptures to follow God's definition. of obedience, and forsake the traditions of men. The Christian walk is more than giving somebody a piece of paper, and if they put three checks on the paper, they're saved. They gotta develop a living faith, a relationship with God. We've brought in so many people unrighteously, that we just declare them a Christian, because they went, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And a couple questions that we asked them, brother, you're saved! Nothing changes. Nothing. Nothing. There's no turnaround. There's no repentance. There's no obedience. They live exactly the same way they did before you tricked them into saying, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, they believed. They said they believed. What did James say? Even the demons believe and tremble. Who wants to go to hell when given a choice? Who wouldn't say, yeah, I don't want to go there. I want to go to heaven. That's not true faith. Jesus said, am I lying? I know I sound like an apostate today, because we don't hear these things so many times. Like even myself, I shock myself at what I say. And then I read the word, and what did Jesus say? By their bumper stickers, ye shall know them. By their fruit, ye shall know them. Now, I am not God, you're not God. I don't know who's saved and who's not, but I can love them enough to correct them when they're not showing work, meat for the repentance that they supposedly made, right? If someone's not showing fruit, if I love them, don't I push them? We do this in sports. We do this with our jobs. We do this in other things in our life. Why don't you do it with the most important thing somebody sold? Let's look at someone who had the look. He was tall. He was handsome. He was all those things. Wonderful. He looked like a king, he smelled like a king, he talked like a king, he walked like a king. But was he the king that God wanted? Let's find out. Turn to 1 Samuel chapter 15. What we read in the New Testament, we can find in the Old Testament. It's not a book with no value because Jesus came. He stood on the whole Word of God. So let's learn this lesson. Now this is the type of church leadership that will get you in trouble. This is the type of life, if you live this way, that will get you in trouble. Now, God gave Saul a command, his anointed king. He wanted a certain people destroyed, everything. Let's see what Saul did. Then came the word of the Lord unto Samuel, saying, It repented me that I have set up Saul to be king, for he has turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel, and he cried unto the Lord all night. And when Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning, It was told Samuel saying, Saul came to Carmel, and behold, he set him up a place, and has gone about, and passed on, and gone down to Gilgal. And Samuel came to Saul, and Saul said unto him, Blessed be thou of the Lord. I have performed the commandment of the Lord. Samuel was from Brooklyn. What did he say? And Samuel said, What mean it then, this bleeding of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear? And Saul said, they have brought them from the Amalekites, for the people spared the best of the sheep and the oxen to sacrifice unto the Lord thy God, and the rest we have utterly destroyed. Now you don't always catch this, but what happens when you make a certain sacrifice to the Lord? You get to eat it afterwards. That's why they wanted to keep the good meat. Then Samuel said unto Saul, stay, and I will tell thee what the Lord hath said to me on this night, And he said unto him, Say on. And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, this is all of us at times, was thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel? And the Lord anointed thee king over Israel. And the Lord sent thee on a journey and said, Go and utterly destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed. Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the Lord, but did fly upon the spoil, and did evil in the sight of the Lord. And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I, this is not repentance, I have obeyed the voice of the Lord, and have gone the way which the Lord sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the Lord thy God in Gilgal. And Samuel said, and this is a lesson for all of us, have the Lord as great delight in burnt offering and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry, because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord. He hath also rejected thee from being king. Same lesson as the new in the old. Don't make up your own way to please God. It doesn't work. Stay with scripture. Stay with what God prescribes. Now that's God himself saying, I want the obedience and the important things. Now why was God so angry? You know, Saul was slick. He had no problem killing the women and the men of the Amalekites. Slaughtering the people was no big deal, but to waste a really good tailgate party, to not bring that meat, you know, that's a problem. I mean, come on, that's Angus beef. You know, we gotta, we can't just throw it away. So he'll kill the people, but save the good stuff for himself to please his own people. Is that leadership? No. Don't we have to do things sometimes that make people angry if we love them? Parents with children, are they happy when you spoon feed them the medicine as they're kicking and screaming and trying to spit it all over the place? Do you stop? Do you just let them die of pneumonia? Or whooping cough, whatever you're giving them medication for? Or do we push on? No, you gotta take this. Let's be like that with ourselves. Let's be like that with God. Lord, it's really going to hurt me to give up my secret sin, but you're God, and I'm sorry. And no matter how much it hurts, please Lord, give me the strength to do it. What happened to obedience? Well, that's the Old Testament. We don't see anything like this in the New Testament. Jesus, I read Purpose Journal. Jesus wants me to be as happy as I can be now. I read Purpose Driven Church. You pick out a certain segment, like they did out with Rick Warren's church. You go for middle class white people with some money. You build your church on that. Focus on that. You can't focus on everyone. You think I'm lying? Read the book. I read the book. Focus on a segment that's going to build your church. Can't go for everybody. Okay, yeah, that's the Gospel. That's definitely the Gospel. So let's go to John, the Gospel of John, Chapter 4. Oh, you can't name names. That's why Paul said, Alexander and Hymenaeus. They betrayed me. They're working for Satan. Oh, don't name names. Why? So you people could follow and be fooled? John chapter 4 verses 21 through 26. Now Jesus spoke to a certain woman at a well. But let's see what he was saying to her. Is Jesus really biased? Does he really make a judgment call? Can we really condemn those religious people for what they did in Paris? What's true for you is true for you. And what's true for me is true for me. Blowing themselves up, they just entered paradise. That was true for them. Who are you to judge them? That's why Europe will lay down. Because that's the philosophy they teach their children. Everything is equal. There is no absolute truth. So who are you to judge the people that just killed your citizens? If there's no absolute truth, it was true for them. Oh, you must be a racist. Or biased towards their religion. They like blowing people up. It gets them into paradise. What's your problem? Well, maybe there is truth. Maybe Jesus was biased when it came to the way he wanted his father to be worshipped. Let's see if I'm lying. Starting at verse 21, he has a conversation with this woman. Again, very flattering. You know, Jesus only says nice things. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh when ye shall neither in this mountain nor yet at Jerusalem worship the Father. Ye worship ye know not what. We know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. Woo, that's prejudiced. But the hour cometh and now is when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth. For the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a spirit. They that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. The woman saith unto him, I know that Messiah is cometh, which is called Christ. When he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he. How judgmental! Telling a woman, your people, the Samaritans, worship in an incorrect way. The Jews worship in a correct way. And soon everybody's going to be wrong that relies on buildings and temples and these other things to worship. Because they're all just shadows that I will take up unto me. Once I'm off that cross and I'm raised from the dead. These things are types and figures. You have to really worship. We have an internal religion. It's supernatural. It's not the five pillars. It's not the seven sacraments. It's none of these things. It's not the new three sacraments of modern evangelicalism. It's real. It's from the inside out. You start with your heart. God starts with your heart. And then that river of living water that flows, that's living in you, the Spirit of Christ starts to soak everything around you. It's not external. And he's correcting her. Your people are wrong. Soon my people will be wrong if they reject me. You're all wrong. Oh, he's making a truth claim. We can't do that in school anymore. We can't do that in church anymore. You bet he was prejudiced and biased and all those things. You know why? He's God and he makes the rules. You don't like it, no problem. Don't take this the wrong way. You know, if you don't like it, go to hell. Literally, you'll go to hell. You can't get to heaven without Christ. You can't understand the gospel without God softening your heart and His Spirit living in you and pushing you to repent and obey. And then a real revival will come, not a fake one. Would you be proud of me? You come back here, we set up a tent, we're going to announce a revival. It's definitely going to come in two weeks from now. And I'm collecting all types of money for myself because I'm the new prophet around here. I know you, you'd probably attack me and give me a spanking. I wouldn't do it. There's been a faithful ministry since the past has been here. I wouldn't dare do that and drag our name through the mud. But that's what people do. Who are you to announce a revival? How about preaching the word, let the spirit of God descend and then you'll see a revival. Real fire from heaven that has people down on their knees. That's offensive. You know the word itself worship from the Bible means down on your knees That's the literal translation Love Jesus enough to obey him and the Holy Ghost will follow Turn to John chapter 14 Verses 15 through 16 Now I'm telling you, you repent, and then you obey, and then the revival comes. Repent, obey, and revive. I'm not making this up. Let's read the scriptures together. What did Jesus say to his disciples? What's the message he left us with? If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another comforter, and we should all know who that is from our Bible study. that He may abide with you forever. So I come to the Lord, I obey Him, and when I screw up, I repent again and then start obeying Him again, because none of us are perfect, and then the Comforter comes. Who is this Comforter? Anybody? The real Holy Spirit, that's right. The real Holy Spirit. who teaches us to worship God in spirit and in truth. Now, we use the King James Bible, because my brother called me out on it. And I gave you from Strong's concordance. It's not nice to lie in church. And what the literal meaning in the King James, in the Greek, that you utilize, it means properly to kiss the ground when prostrating before a superior. That's why Vatican worship, papal worship, is so disgusting. What do they do when they walk up to the pope? They bow and they kiss. You kiss the godfather's hand if you don't want to get wet. And that's what world leaders do. You think I'm kidding? Look what happens to countries that don't follow papa. Do a little real history study about the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. We think it was Baptist that killed him? I'm not trying to get in too much trouble. I'm going to shut up now. Properly to kiss the ground that it's proskuneo. That's the word worship. Properly to kiss the ground when prostrating before superior to worship, ready to fall down, prostrate oneself to a door on one's knees. To do obeisance. Literally kissing the ground. And it's a symbol of between believers, the bride and Christ, the heavenly bridegroom. So what we want to do is we want to truly worship. And in worship, it's obedience. You don't worship the way you want. You come to God an inferior to a superior. What are we talking about? It's all about me. I am the most important molecule in the universe. Me. All God cares about is me. It's all about, I thought that was the definition of narcissism. Right? Or someone who is, what do they call that, psychopath? There's a new politically correct term for it. It's not psychopath anymore. I forgot what it is. But the point is, everything's you. This is what we're teaching our kids. Everyone's you. The universe, everything is about you. And then when they grow up and want to kill us because they hate us, we wonder why. You give them everything but the gospel. I hate to disappoint everyone. It's not about you. It's about God first. Then I'm included when he's made first. God will not be the tail. We're not going to be the head and he's going to be the tail. And that's why we'll have more terrorist attacks. We'll have more problems with the economy because Western civilization, who was made great, not by race. It wasn't skin color. It was grace having the gospel. We were wild tribes, too. I can say this, I'm speaking as someone of European descent. We were skinning and eating people. We were doing all types of pagan practices. They're coming back. We had group marriage. When the Romans ran into us, they were like, whoa, these white people are crazy. But they meant it because that's the way we were living. Now we have the gospel. We had the fruit of the gospel. God puts us in the driver's seat and what do we do? We throw them out of our schools. We throw them out of our homes. We throw them out of our churches. But when a bomb goes off, why did you do this to me? Think about the schizophrenia, the insanity. Like if I was God, I mean, I'm not God, because I can't wrap my head around that. That's like my kids saying, look, I don't want you to come to my children's school. I don't want you in my house. And you better not show up at church. And then something bad happens. We're not even in touch with each other, and they call me up. Why didn't you help me out? It's crazy. You don't even want me around. So God is taking his hedge of protection away. Now, you'll want to read your work. But remember, it's more than just Bible study. It's application. The word is a lie. This is not the end of the world in a couple weeks. Don't give some crazy man your money. We've always gone through this. Look at the time of the Reformation. Islam was a threat back then. The apostate church was a threat back then. It's 1517 all over again. And our new printing press is the modern media and the internet. So instead of doing foolish things on there, Send your friends and family Bible verses. Send them godly articles. Send them sermons. Send them the Bible study. Send them Christian music against the secular music. Use it. You know, the printing press was the same way. People are shocked when I always bring up the first thing that came off the printing press was pornography. They think that printing press people were really that holy back then. They invented it for the Bible. No, after they made the money off the pornography and racy stories, they go, hey, you know what? We could probably produce one of these on there. And then they started with the Bible. Well, we gotta be brave in these days, and we have to know our word. This is not for you to get scared. We are not affected by terrorists. Because as soon as a man who thinks he's serving God, and has real convictions, pushes that button and blows me up, I enter paradise. And as my blood as a believer hits the ground after he blows me up, it's gonna plant churches. I have no fear like that, and you don't need to have any fear. Obey! Those who obey God have no reason to fear. It's those who aren't repentant, it's the lawbreakers that have a reason to fear. What did Paul say us? What was the law, who was the law made for? First, the sinner. To point out what you're doing wrong in your life. Now after you come to Christ, you can study it and reap the fruit of the law in the way you do things. But that's what it was made for. Don't be afraid. Don't be shocked. Like we said with the transgender stuff and all the other things that are coming forward, it's gonna happen. It's gotta sink some more before people finally repent. And I have faith. I know the Lord isn't finished with us. Then we can have our revival. But don't be shocked. There will be more terror attacks. There will be more problems with the economy. There will be more crazy weather. It is not some guy, you know, some special Illuminati guy with buttons and he's controlling all things. Look in your Bible. It's this guy, the king of the universe, giving us warning signs. He's not going to let us glorify ourselves and not glorify him. Especially in the church. And that was the lesson for David. You're my anointed king. I love you. You are a man after my own heart. I'm even going to let you I'll fulfill the plans through your son to build that temple that you wanna build. Don't you dare disgrace my name. You're gonna pay for what you did. And David grobbeth and came back to the Lord. That's a man after God's own heart. Or a woman. You're not perfect, but you're repentant and you come back to obedience and then you'll have that revival in your life and in your family. Amen. Almighty God, we thank you, Lord, that as confusing and as crazy as things can get in our world, you're in complete control. We can go to the Bible and be comforted and have answers. We thank you, Lord, that it is a simple path that you give us. We repent. We acknowledge our sin. We come before you. We plead the blood of Jesus, the one who died for us. and who rose again and now reigns, reigning now. And we thank you, God, that we have a mediator like Christ who loved us enough that while we would get sinners, he went to the cross for us. We thank you, Lord, that we can have fruit and we do have the ability through your spirit to obey and pick up the pieces where we left off and come back to you. And we pray there, God, that as individual people, and in our families. Like the old hymn says, O Lord, revive us again. That if we've been asleep, if we've been backsliding, if the Bible has become boring, some of the teachings that we listen to about the Bible have become boring, that you would smack our heart that's starting to harden and make it a soft heart of flesh again. We thank you, Lord, that we have a real king who watches over us. We pray, Lord, that you would keep us safe as your little family until we gather again next week and call on your name together. And we thank you, Lord, always in the name of the only King, Jesus Christ, amen.
