Hello again and welcome to the program. We're here with a little strength for today. Luke 17, 26 says, as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man. Genesis 6, 11 says, in Noah's day the earth was filled with violence. The world has always seen violence ever since Cain killed Abel. However, never has the world been filled with violence as it is today. As we mentioned in our previous program concerning conflict-related deaths, civilian deaths in armed conflicts surged by 40% in 2024 compared to 2023 reaching at least 48,384 people who were killed by violence. Casualties among children and women in armed conflicts have quadrupled in just two years. Concerning terrorism, in 2024 worldwide deaths from terrorism rose by 11 percent to 7,555 people. In 2024, there were 3,492 terrorist attacks. The number of countries with terrorists increased from 58 in 2023 to 66 in 2024. Terrorism in what we call the West in this world, the statistics say the West saw a 63% jump in terrorist attacks. Lone Wolf actors carried out 93% of fatal attacks in Western countries, in the last five years. Attacks by young people are increasing, with Jewish hate crimes surging around the world. Our world has never seen anything like what happened on October 7, 2023, when Hamas came in, raped girls for no other reason than they were Jews, murdered 1,200 innocent men and women, including children, simply because they were Jews. In what is labeled intimate partner family violence, conflict-related deaths surged by 40% in 2024. Concerning what they call gender-based violence, One woman or girl is killed by an intimate partner or family member every 10 minutes worldwide in 2024. That means in 2024 approximately 50,000 women and girls were killed globally. Globally, 263 million women have reported experiencing sexual violence in their lifetime, though this is very likely, according to the statistics, underreported. In the United States of America, someone is sexually assaulted every 74 seconds, and every 9 minutes a child is sexually abused. Over 80% of sexual assaults of victims are under the age of 17 years of age. According to police departments, it is reported that only 6 out of 100 sexual assaults are actually reported. Once again, Jesus said in Luke 17, 26, as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man. Genesis 6, 11 says the earth was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. Luke 21-28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up and lift up your heads, for your redemption draweth nigh.
