Hello again and welcome to the program. We're here with a little strength for today in a world that is absolutely spinning out of control. I was reading today in 1 Peter 4, verse 12, says, Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you, but rejoice inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's suffering, that when his glory shall be revealed ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. Sometimes we sing about the sweet by and by, but it's the crazy now and now that we have to contend with. But he says here that when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. I've read the last chapter. It turns out well for those who love the Lord. Jude 1 and 24 says now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy." What were we falling for? Well, the whole subject there in Jude is apostasy. Unto him that is able to keep you from falling. A lot of people are falling into apostasy these days. Ephesians 3.20 says, Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us. And then in Romans 4.21, and being fully persuaded that what he has promised, he was able also to perform. The phrase God is able is found in the Word of God five times. "'Tis the grandest thing through the ages wrung, "'tis the grandest thing for a mortal tongue. "'Tis the grandest thing that the world ever sung. "'Our God is able to deliver thee.'" He is able to deliver thee. He is able to deliver thee, though by sin oppressed, go to him for rest. Our God is able to deliver thee.
