Colossians chapter number three, verse number 22. Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not without service as men pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing God. And whatsoever you do, do it heartily as to the Lord, and not unto men, knowing that of the Lord you shall receive the reward of the inheritance, for you serve the Lord Christ. Notice verse 25, but he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done. And there is no respect of persons.
Verse 25 again, but he that doeth wrong. So Paul says to the Colossian church that there is somebody that does wrong. And so the question I wanna preach about this morning is this subject today, is there anything wrong anymore? Is there anything wrong anymore? Thank you, and you can be seated.
Father, I pray that you'll touch me now for just a few moments of time. Use me for the glory of God. I pray you'll settle in on this place and touch hearts and lives. I pray for anybody among us that may not know the Lord Jesus in a free part of sin, that may be lost, deceived by religion or whatever it may be. Oh God, that the Holy Ghost would touch them and help them to see their need for Christ. I pray you'll help those that are saved. Encourage us and help us along the way, and we'll love you in Jesus' name. Amen.
Is there anything wrong anymore? We're living in a day when our society, as well as it seems to many churches, are doing everything they can to rid the facts that there is right and that there is wrong. We know, or at least we should know, that right is always right and wrong is always wrong. Wrong is always wrong. The Bible said in Isaiah, woe unto them that call evil good and good evil, that put darkness for light and light for darkness, that put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes and prudent in their own sight. There's a curse announced here to them that call evil good and good evil. And ladies and gentlemen, we have that going on in our very day. We have that going on in our Baptist churches all across this land. That's right.
So number one, I wanna say some things about the thought about wrong. Number one, wrong is wrong even if you don't get caught. You ever been riding down the road without your seatbelt on until you see a patrolman go by? And then you put it on, you didn't get caught? Well, I got a policeman lives beside me, amen. I make sure I got my seatbelt on, amen. Got my tag picked up right there, amen, all that good stuff. I don't want my neighbor giving me no ticket, amen.
But anyhow, what I'm saying is, have you ever done that? Can I tell on myself? This is like probably 15 years ago, I was up in West Jefferson, and really, I did honestly forget to put my seatbelt on. But there was a state trooper up there, and she was a woman, and they said she was notorious for catching people without their seatbelts on. Well, when I went by her, I said, ah, and I grabbed and put my seatbelt on right quick. I know she's coming after me, and she did. And she come up to my car and she said, now sir, did you really have that seatbelt on when I passed you? I said, well, no. She didn't even blink an eye, son. She asked for my registration record and wrote me a ticket. That's what I did. I went and paid the fine. I had to be honest. Amen.
Now a lot of people want to argue with her, but there wasn't no arguing with that woman. Amen. I ain't arguing with no state trooper, amen. But this is the philosophy of our times. Do what you will, it's okay as long as you don't get caught. As long as no one sees it or is hurt by it. As long as the game warden doesn't know, you're okay. Or maybe the teacher don't know about that, it's okay. Well, as long as the boss man's in the dark, it don't matter. Well, you know, my parents are never gonna find out. Well, the preacher never found that.
Well, you gotta remember something. The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight, but all things are naked and open unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. The problem is we think we're clever, but the truth is God knows it all. Can I say God always knows it? Listen, do you not think God knew where Jonah was? God knew where Jonah was. God knew what Achan did. He knew what Ananias and Sapphira did. God knew that David had a man killed and committed adultery with his wife.
Wrong is always wrong, even if you don't get caught. But the tremendously sad truth is so many so-called saints are doing wrong and do not care if anyone sees them or what they're doing is going to bring harm to their testimony. Amen. I wanna say, ladies and gentlemen, to the church this morning, you're to care about your testimony, amen. You're to understand that there's people all around you are watching your life to see if you are really who you say you are, and I promise you, buddy, if they can find one thing that's wrong with you, they're gonna point it out, and they're gonna use an excuse to stay out of church and stay lost and go to hell, and it'll be our fault, amen. You better live clean, amen. That's right. Hey, it's wrong, it don't matter if you ever get caught. It's still wrong.
Number two, wrong is always wrong, even if it's done for a good cause. See, it's Satan's job to blur the truth. It's been illustrated this way. Someone said, I will never steal anything because stealing is wrong and forbidden by the scriptures. But if my children were hungry, I would steal enough to take care of them. Now this almost sounds righteous. And any of us might actually do that. But the point of the message is not about stealing. It's about what's right and what's wrong. Right and wrong cannot be redefined simply because of circumstances. It don't matter if my kids are starving. It's still wrong to steal. I might do it if I got in that position. I didn't have no money, had no means of making any money. I might fall into that trap one day and have to do something like that. God forbid I ever have to do that. It wouldn't make it right. It'd still be called stealing, amen.
I believe, listen to me church, I believe there is a redefining movement in our Baptist church that's going on right now and it's very disturbing to my heart. If something is wrong, it's wrong regardless of the circumstances, amen. If you were to study 2 Samuel 6, Uzziah touched the ark and died. Why did Uzziah die from touching the ark? It was wrong for him to do it, even though in his mind it was for the right purpose. He thought he would help God out because the ark was something precious and it was toppled over about to fall and he reached down and touched it and God struck him dead. Why? Because God said, don't touch it. It'd been better for Uzziah to just let the thing fall on the ground if that's where God wanted it. That for him to go against what God said. You understand what I'm saying today? That's right. It was wrong for him to do it, even though in his mind it was for the right purpose. This word right is defined as any motive, principle, or act that is in harmony with the divine nature and will of God. Right and wrong are not determined by circumstance, but by the will and the nature of God. That's right.
Number three, wrong is always wrong. Listen to me now. Some of you that are having problems with this and you're seeing people say something, say the one thing and do another, I'm trying to help you now. You can't get your eyes on that crap. Wrong is always wrong, even if it doesn't bother your conscience. Your conscience can be tainted. For example, we see serial killers who have no remorse or no any kind of emotion when they're facing the family that they've killed their loved one by, no response. They have no remorse and we're seeing it more and more in young people who are killing other young people.
All of the horrific things, brother Joe, that have been said about Charlie Kirk's assassination is almost unbelievable. It's almost unfathomable that somebody would even joke and make fun and they are doing this making fun of another human being getting assassinated and his head almost blown off his shoulders and they can stoop so low to make jokes about that and to make fun about that because they didn't agree with his ideas and philosophies of life. I can't believe somebody could be that so wicked and vile. It's possible that our consciences can not only be tainted, but they can be turned.
Here's where we are today in 1st Timothy 1.19, he said, holding faith and a good conscience, which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck. Listen to me, I'm trying to help you. For many of us that are hearing and seeing people who claim to make Bible-believing Christians, and they're going contemporary, and they're going wildly and worldly and dropping wholesome Christian values, try not to be too alarmed. It's gonna happen, and it's probably gonna get worse.
Brother, it's up to us at Temple Baptist Church and churches of light faith, we gotta hold the line. We gotta stay close by the Bible. We gotta keep preaching what the Bible says, amen. It's not what I've got to say about it, it's what God said about it. My opinion don't matter, but what God said, that's all that matters. And so church, you're going to have to be behind your preacher if I'm going to take that stand. Because there's pastors and preachers everywhere. I'm not trying to be critical or down on them, but they're compromising with the Word of God because they're afraid they'll lose their crown, because they're trying to get a crown. Maybe they've got a paycheck tied to their tongue. They're living over in that Parsons and not willing to give up. None of that stuff matters to me. God called me to preach. I've been preaching 40 years. I can't compromise with what God's saying.
If you're wrong, all I can say is get it right, amen. I'm not gonna make no excuses for your sorry way of living. If you're not living right and you're in the wrong, you need to get it right, amen. That's right, amen. So don't be too, don't be too shocked when these, even some of our preacher friends and people you know in other churches start falling into that trap and they're compromising and they're not doing right. Listen, it's gonna happen. That don't mean you have to do it. That don't mean we have to do it. That's right, people are turning from the truth. Like what Charles Spurgeon said. Well, I don't know if I like it, but it's what he said. He said, a time will come when instead of shepherds feeding the sheep, their church will have clowns entertaining the goats. You say, what are you saying, preacher? I'm saying we got a bunch of clowns in the pulpit today, and they're entertaining a bunch of goats. They can't preach nothing and stand for nothing because, well, I'll be offended.
Well, honey, if you get offended, then it ain't my fault. If I've got Bible and I got scripture, it don't matter to me if you like it or not, honey. If God said it's right, it's still right. If God said it's wrong, guess what? It's still wrong, amen. I'm preaching, is there anything wrong anymore? Yes, there's a bunch of stuff wrong. Amen.
A.W. Tozer said, many professing Christians are caught up with the toys of a contemporary society. They may be going to hell, but it's going to be a comfortable ride for them. What did the apostle Peter say in 2 Peter 3? As also in all his epistles, talking about Paul, speaking in them of these things in which are some things are hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable rest, as they do also all the other scriptures under their own destruction.
What's Peter saying here? Peter sent us a group of people, and he uses that word right there in 2 Peter 3, 16, rest. W-R-E-S-T, that means making them say something other than their plain meaning in order to accommodate some human opinion, amen. We cannot change what this book says to fit our opinion. or to fit our lifestyle, or to fit what we think we believe. It don't matter what I believe, what did God say, amen.
Amen, I feel preaching coming on, amen. I'm just simply saying this morning, friend, that this particular sin is surely as common today as it was in the days of the false prophet rebuked by Jeremiah. They're arresting the scriptures in order to make them fit their lifestyle. Can I tell you something about this Bible? It ain't gonna change for me or nobody else. You're either lined up to the book or you won't be lined up. Amen. Everybody with the preacher?
This word rest, it means to distort the scriptures. I'm not to distort the scriptures. I'm not to change it and fix it how I want it. I'm to preach it just like it is, amen. So this is commonly done even today by professing Christians. What they're doing is they're seeking to justify their own compromises with the evolutionary philosophy and humanistic lifestyles of all their ungodly associates, amen. Men of God should not be afraid to lift their voices, brother Chris, and cry out against what's wrong, and it should be what God's people want and desire, amen.
There was a time, 30 years ago, I've been at this church almost 32 years now. Now when I first come, I'll be honest, I was sort of timid and shy. But I had to get over that pretty quick. Mr. Lee, I'd come in here and I'd be preaching on something I felt like I had to walk on eggshells. And it struck me one day and I thought to myself, I don't have to act this way, I don't have to walk on eggshells, amen. God called me to preach. Any of you call me to preach, God called me to preach. I gotta do what God said. And you as a church want to make sure the preacher's got the liberty to do it. Oh, that's a lot of churches wouldn't put up no preacher dates now. Oh, they'd haul him off in a cart and say, well, you just, no, we ain't putting up with that. I'm glad I got a church that likes preaching, amen. But I had to walk on eggshells. Well, I found out I didn't have to do that. I just come in here one Sunday morning, I just cleaned it all out, amen. I said, I'm tired of walking on eggshells. I said, it's my job, God called me to preach this book, just like you wrote it, and I'm gonna preach it just like you write it, and if you're wrong, you need to get lined up to that, not to me, but the book, amen.
Well, I didn't like it. But that's okay, God liked it. Amen. We shouldn't have to be afraid to lift up our voices and cry against wrong. Is there anything wrong anymore, church? Yes, there are. There's a whole lot of stuff that's wrong. There's no way you can preach all of it in a lifetime, the things that's wrong. I mean, there's over 600 sins named in the Bible that God said was wrong. Have you got time for a 600 point message? You ain't got time for that.
Our consciences are tainted. They can be turned. but they can also be trained. It can be a good indicator of right and wrong. Somebody said the conscience is a tool of education. If it is trained to accept right and wrong from a biblical point of view, that's good. But guess what? We're facing a generation where their consciences have not been trained to accept what's right and wrong according to the Bible. People of the world, they've not trained their consciences to accept what God says right and what God says wrong in the Bible. So hopefully they'll get saved, if they're not saved, and let God begin to work in their hearts and minds, and let God show them what is right and what is wrong.
If it's a train to accept the right and the wrong biblical point of view, that is good, but that's not always the case. Most people follow their conscience as you would a wheelbarrow. We push it in front of us in the direction that we want to go. It is possible that our conscience has been trained by standards other than scriptures. This is very evident by what we're seeing today happening right before our very eyes.
The great thing about the conscience is that it's flexible. It can be formatted. It's like a disk and new data can be entered. It can be retrained. That's what happens when you really get saved. God begins to retrain your thinking. Say when you're lost, you don't think right. Your ideas and philosophies of life are all wrong. Why? Because we've been tainted. It's not until you have the new birth take place in your life, until you really get saved by the grace of God, and God changes your life, and praise God, gets you in the house of God, and gets you to read in the Bible, God will begin to work on your conscience, and your mind has to be retrained into thinking what's right according to what God's saying.
As years ago, they got the hollering, well, the preachers are brainwashing everybody. All I was doing was preaching the Bible. And I got to hearing that so much, Brother Joe, it got to aggravating me, so I worked up a message, and I preached a message on the argument for biblical brainwashing. I said, praise God, you people need your brainwashed. Your think is not right. It's not according to what God said. It ain't got nothing to do with what I think. You're not thinking like God thinks. If you want to know how God thinks, read the Bible. This is God's mind. This is how God thinks. And if you want to think right, you've got to think like God thinks. Anything that's not like God is wrong. Amen. Amen. That's right.
Well, it can be retrained. And that's what happens when you get saved. You get to thinkin' different. You say, Preacher, do you think different now before you was when you got saved? Yes, I think a lot different. When I was lost, I had my way of thinkin'. I was 18 when I got saved, so I'd already begin to gettin' a bunch of stuff before I was even 18 that even to this day I regret.
and wish I could forgive them. My thinking, my thinking, I've told you this a hundred, my thinking was, I'm on the highway to hell. I'm on the highway. That was my thinking. I told you on that, I'm gonna tell you how old I am. I had a vinyl record of that. A vinyl, the vinyl record. How old I am. I got it when it come out on the, when it first come out in the 80s. ACDC highway to hell. That was my thinking. I didn't really get what they were saying. I was too interested in the beat. And my little old granny, we live with my granny, Miss Tonya, she never did like that. She said, you are not to be listening to that. I said, you leave me alone, granny.
But once I got saved, Brother Chris, once I got born again by the Spirit of God, then somebody moved in. He's called the Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit said, you need to get rid of that boy. You ain't on the highway to hell no more. You need to quit thinking like that. And praise God. God changed my whole atmosphere. He changed how I thought about things. Thank God it was for the better and not for the worse, amen.
Is there anything wrong anymore? Yes, everything's wrong but God. God's right. This old book's right. Amen. That's right. I'm just saying this morning, wrong is always wrong, even if it don't bother your little conscience. Well, what I do don't bother me. Well, the reason it probably don't is because you're probably not saved, sir. You get saved, you'll be amazed at the things that bother you. You just ask any true blue Christian that's had a burnt board to get experience with Christ, and they'll tell you right quick, yes, there's a lot of things that was wrong I didn't think was wrong. Reason it don't bother you is because you're not saved. You don't have the Holy Spirit in you to show there's a difference. Your thinking's still tainted.
But once you get saved, God changes the way you think about things. Well, just because it don't bother you don't mean it's wrong. A lot of people, them serial killers, they're killing people. It don't bother them. It's still wrong. They may not never apologize or even flinch or show any kind of emotion, but it's still wrong.
Here's where I really want to get to. Caitlin, wrong is always wrong, even if others are doing it. This is perhaps one of the poorest excuses for doing wrong. When everybody else is doing it, it don't mean I'm going to do it. Listen, turn your hearing aid up. Listen to what I'm about to say now. If God clearly states something is wrong, I said God, not me, God clearly states something is wrong, then it doesn't matter if the entire society, every church member, every preacher, pastor, evangelist, missionary, and the world says or recognizes it as being right. wrong. I love my preacher friends. I pray for them. But just because they're going to go down that little circle, I'm not going with them. My wife is not going to a rock concert. I don't have to tell her not to do that. She knows better herself. I don't have a thumb on her telling her what she can do and can't do. She's a Christian. She don't even like rock music. Why would this pastor's wife go to a rock concert? I'll tell you why. Because there's something deep seated, wrong deep down in her heart.
Listen, I'm just preaching today. I've got to preach. I've got to preach. I've got to preach! When I got saved, God turned everything that I loved around and I began hating everything I used to love. If anybody loved rock music, and I'm talking about the old rock music, it was me. This junk they got today is not rock music. No. And I'm against any kind of form of rock music. But now, I liked it when I was lost. Tell it, tell it. I mean, you couldn't beat Bobby Seger and the Civil Bullet Band, that old time rock and roll man. That's a classic. I can't listen to it now. It's still wrong. It's still wrong.
I had to make cover of them at Walmart. That old man, that old man would jump back up on me. Hey, quit that. What are you saying? I'm saying it's wrong. But what I'm saying is when I got saved, it changed. And I found out, hey, that does not line up to what I am now. So you know what I did, Brother Chris? I thought, well, maybe I'll go country. I mean, that's not like rock and roll. Not going to hell and all that stuff. If loving you is wrong, I don't want to be right. That's Barbara Mandrell. If loving you is wrong, I don't want to be right. It was wrong. She wasn't supposed to love another woman's husband, amen. It's wrong.
And then I put Alabama in the eight-track tape. That's how old I am, amen. Alabama when they first come out. What was that song, Chris? Yeah, if you want to play in Texas. I was going down the road one day and I put that thing in. And the Holy Spirit spoke in my heart. He said, son, you know this ain't right. And I said, yes, sir, Lord. None of that stuff could help my spiritual life. None of that stuff's gonna help you to grow spiritually. It's gonna hinder you all the way.
If any of you people that are saved still have a problem with that wrong kind of music, it's wrong! You gotta get it out of your life if you're gonna grow and go forward with God! Is anything wrong anymore? It's wrong! I don't even listen to half the Christian music they play this day and time. Why? Because it's wrong! All this contemporary mess, wanting to boogie-woogie Jesus down, it's garbage! It is not glorifying Jesus. Is anything wrong anymore? Oh yeah, that's a lot of stuff wrong.
They might not be hearing it anywhere else in Kanapis, but they hear it from Temple, amen. It's wrong. He don't glorify God. That whole crowd, they don't know God. They've never been convinced that God saved, God changed. Amen. That's right. It's still wrong. I don't care if all the Baptist preachers go to listen to it. I don't care if every church member in the world goes to listen to it. It's wrong. God help us if we get caught up in that mess.
Listen real close. God does not bring right and wrong up for a vote. God ain't asking me what I think about it. God said it's wrong, boy. Period. And I say, yes sir. God ain't bringing it up for a vote to see whether I like it or don't like it or what he says for my life's good or wrong. Oh, no, friend. No, sir. Don't matter to me. If the whole crowds are doing it, if it's wrong, if it's ever been wrong, it's still wrong. Amen. Amen. That's exactly right. And all these preacher guys we know that are getting into all this contemporary worship, they've missed God a million miles. That junk ain't never saved nobody from hell, ain't never brought nobody under conviction. It's what we're doing this morning that makes people feel uncomfortable. You know why? Because I'm preaching truth! And truth upsets the apple cart. Truth upsets people, amen.
You get to preaching against sin in our day and everybody's not gonna like it. Or agree with it or like me, amen. But I am not in a popularity contest this morning, my friend. Right now when I'm preaching, I really don't care if you like me or not. I'm obeying God. I'm preaching the word, amen. I love your soul more and I love your friendship. I love your soul more and I love your little feelings toward me, amen. I have to give an account to God for what I'm saying this morning.
It's wrong. Don't matter if the whole crowd does it, everybody does it, it's wrong. If it is right, it'll be right. And if it's wrong, it'll always be wrong, regardless of who is doing it. Boy, I need this myself. Amen. Our source for right and wrong is not the lifestyle of our friends, or peers, or parents, or even church leaders. It is the Word of God.
Your source for what's right and what's wrong is not preacher deets. Tell it, Preacher. Tell it. Brother Joe, I could be wrong about things. I could make a mistake. I'm human. I could say or preach something that's not actually scriptural. I have the ability to do that. I'm not going to do that intentionally. But I could do that. Always put your faith right here. Men will let you down. Men can lead you astray. Men can tell you the wrong. And a lot of preachers won't tell the truth anymore. They're too concerned about everybody's feelings and if they're gonna be rejected or not.
I don't like to be rejected. I don't like for people not to like me. I mean, how can you not love a little teddy bear like me? I don't know. But I can't let that influence me on whether or not I tell you the truth or not. I gotta give out the truth. Because I'm a God-called preacher. Mama didn't call me. I didn't decide to do this one day as a profession. The church didn't tell me, you need to preach. No, no. God said, boy, that's what I want you to do.
So whatever has been wrong, it's still wrong today. I want to repeat what I just said. Our source for right and wrong is not the lifestyle of our friends. And we're seeing their lifestyles that don't make it right. Our peers, our parents, or even church leaders. It's the Word of God. This is the reason we are to set the right example. People are watching us and our lives are influencing people. I want to have influence and power with people. I want to live right and live clean so people can have confidence in me. And say, man, I'd like to have a little bit of what he's got.
If I'm out there living shady and I've got question marks all over my life and I've done things that make people doubt who I am and what I am all about, hey, don't ever have no confidence in me. That's right. Oh my, pays to live right. It's amazing how some people are willing to do right in a matter until they find somebody else has done something wrong in that matter, and then they use them as an excuse to do wrong. Well, they're doing it. You ever heard that? They're doing it. They're doing it. Well, it don't matter if the whole crowd's doing it. If it ain't right, it still don't make it right. I hope you're getting what I'm saying. Oh, this goes on all the time. And again, it seems to be something that's catching fire in our Baptist churches. I thought this was a sort of humorous. When I was putting this little message together, and that's some stuff to it, when I was typing this thing in, I was typing in Baptist church, but it come up Baptist circus. And I thought that's what many of them are turning into, a bunch of circuses, amen. Baptist circus. I meant to put Baptist church in there, and it said Baptist circus. I said, whoa. That's what all these places are. It's a circus. Anything goes, everything goes. There's no rules or standards. Nothing. Whatever.
Now, I appreciate my neighbor being back here, Brother Chris. I love my neighbors, amen. Brother Chris is a policeman in Kannapolis. I pray for him every time I walk out my door. I say, Lord, please keep him safe. Amen. Yes, amen. I appreciate his service. Yes, amen. Yes, sir. And I got a sinking suspicion. Anybody miss little Preacher Dietz over there, my neighbor? I believe he'd take care of him for me. Amen. Amen. I'm glad that cop car sits inside my house, amen. Come live next to me. I love it. No, we're not. He's not moving nowhere. But I bet Chris can't go on duty He can't go on duty in short shorts and a tank top. You know what you're going to have to do, Brother Chris, you got to put that uniform on.
Listen, we got churches, just let everything go. No standards, no convictions. You remember God has some rules. He's got some laws, regulations, things to expect, things that are right. And there's things that are wrong. Let's don't have a Baptist circus. Let's have a Baptist church, amen.
What I'm saying is, and I'm about done, do not allow what other people are doing to influence you to do wrong. It's a trap and a snare of the devil. And you don't have to look far in the church as many pulpits today, see many that are simply compromising and not doing right, nor are they accepting a very godly example.
Number five, and I'm done, wrong is wrong, even if it is commonly considered acceptable. What today is called acceptable was yesterday referred to quite clearly as sin. Jesus said, ye are they which justify yourselves before men. But God knoweth your hearts. For that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination to the sight of God. Adultery is now called by a nicer word, which is an affair. living together before marriage is now referred to as a trial of commitment instead of fornication or shacking up. Pre-marital sex is simply called love. Murder is now called abortion. Homosexuality and sodomy is called an alternate lifestyle. When I was coming up, it was a drunkard. Now it's an alcoholic. Gambling is fun. No, it's sin. And these, along with about 500,000 more things I could say, are becoming more and more acceptable, and they have become accepted in our society, and the society is anticipating the church will fit into this New Age movement.
Exodus 23.2, listen, church. Thou shalt not follow a mortitude to do evil. God said that. Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil, neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to rest judgment. Church, may God help us not to follow suit to other churches and pastors who are compromising and allowing things to go on in church and on church grounds and in their everyday lives. The Bible says prove all things. Find out if it's right or wrong. It said prove all things. Hold fast to that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. There's no way anyone can make wrong right. But if you've been doing wrong today, if you've been doing wrong, you can repent and change your life and get back on the right track. You say, I've been doing wrong. Well, you can repent and get back on the right track. Amen. Amen.
Wrong is wrong even if we don't get caught. Wrong is wrong even if it's done for a good cause. Wrong is wrong even if it doesn't bother your conscience. Wrong is always wrong even if others are doing it. And wrong is wrong even if it is commonly considered acceptable. Amen.
So my message is to remind us that there's still things that are right and there's still things that are wrong. Yes, there are still things that are wrong, but he that doeth wrong, the scripture said, shall receive for the wrong which he hath done.
So do not get too upset when you see people who say they're believers and are doing things they're doing that's not right. You know, we go and visit Chaston a lot, and about everybody you talk, yeah, I'm saved, yeah, I'm saved, yeah, I'm saved. But something don't line up. They've been treated and deceived by the devil. The sad truth is they're not really saved. You say why? Because what's wrong is wrong and what's right is right. And their life is wrong according to what's right in this book. That's right.
So a lot of people say they're saved, they're not saved. They've never truly had a new birth experience that absolutely turned their life around and upside down. And that's what salvation does for them, it's a good thing.
So church, I'm preaching to you church this morning, don't get too upset when people who say they're believers are doing things they shouldn't be doing. We must stay the course and be faithful to God and his word. Maybe you're here today and you're doing wrong. Well, here's your chance to come and do right. I'm so thankful Jesus is forgiving, His blood is still cleansing, and He will help you with whatever you need help in.
