Amen. Good evening. It's hard to preach when you're full. I'm trying to, you know, serve some, but the foods are so good. And thank you, church. Thanks, everyone, for the food that you brought. But of course, they're all good. But if you will ask me what is the best, you know my answer. The upstate. Yeah, the upstate. So thank you very much for sister who brought that. I really miss that and I enjoy it. Maybe some of you were not able to get one because I got three. I confess. But, of course, the German food, brother, for sure. Thank you. I like that, the egg and the beet. Yes, good. I like eggs. Sometimes I just eat four or five boiled eggs as a plain egg, but now I taste an egg that is marinated or been put to a beet. Amen. Thank you very much. Church, thank you very much for your love. Thank God for this church who really love the Lord. love your pastor and of course love the missionaries and we are enjoying and I believe we will enjoy the rest of our stay here and this maybe we have a lot of vacant Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday And Saturday we're just here, so if you plan to play basketball with us, no, just kidding. But we really appreciate Pastor Karl. Okay, so if you have your Bible, please open with me in the book of Matthew, Matthew chapter 28. It was a good song, Brother Tim. Give me a crucified heart. The Bible says that I am crucified with Christ. Nevertheless, I live yet not I, but Christ liveth in me. Amen? And he said, Lord, what's the lyrics? I was trying to listen. Help me to die for thee. Is that what you're saying? A life ready to die for thee? Is that the lyrics, brother Tim? What's the lyrics? Then, willing to die. There's a verse like that played. Oh, may I be willing to die. The Bible says, that's good message, amen? But we must be willing to live for him, amen? If you are not willing to live for him, you will not be willing to die for him. Amen? We can see a future missionary in the making, amen? Amen. Matthew chapter 28. Matthew chapter 28 from verse number one down to verse number Allow me to read it from verse number one down to verse number four. In the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And behold, there was a great earthquake, for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone from the door and sat upon it. His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow. And for fear of him, the keepers did shake and became as dead men. Father God in heaven, once again, we thank thee for what you have done to us and to us, we thank thee for. this church, for the love, for the faithfulness, but especially, oh God, we thank you for your faithfulness and your love to us. Thank you for the good fellowship. Thank you, oh God, for each one who came. Thank you especially, oh God, for the presence of your Holy Spirit. Once again, Father, I do pray that empower me as I share your words, that your Holy Spirit move freely in our heart. We believe, O God, that many have made decisions the past night and even last Sunday. I do pray, Father, that you continue to encourage us that we may be ready to die and to live for you, for your cause, Father, for your glory. Thank you once again, Father, for this we pray in Christmas, precious name. Amen, amen. Okay, so of course, in this chapter, you can find the Great Commission in verse number 18, 19, and 20. And our text, of course, is the whole chapter, Matthew chapter 28. So this is the last night of our missions conference. Maybe we'll be leaving 9.30. No, just kidding. Okay? But the church that I preached the other day said, as the Lord leads you, brother, just preach. Come on. Don't worry about time. As the Lord leads you. So when I preached 35 minutes, somebody Anyway, in these verses, we can see the first witnesses of the Lord Jesus Christ, the first witnesses of His resurrection. In the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and other Mary to see the sepulchre. And behold, there was a great earthquake, for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone from the door and sat upon it. His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow. And for fear of him, the keepers, the keepers did shake and became as dead men. And the angel answered and said unto the woman, Fear not ye, for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here, for he is risen, as he said. Amen? One time, When we are in Cambodia and my kids are very sick, they're really sick, and of course, we ask brethren, we ask pastors, we ask loved ones that please do pray for us. My kids is having fever for four days or six days, and of course, we don't want to go to the hospital, but of course, we really need prayers. And I text one of my friends, I said, pastor, please do pray for my kids. They are really sick for five days already. And he texted me back, he said, brother, we are serving a living God. That's the only message that he gave. He said, brother, we are serving a living God. I said, yes, sir. Thank you very much. That comforted me a lot. Of course, I was expecting to say, oh, what's the problem? Yes, brother, yes, missionary, I will pray for them. I was expecting that he will give me that answer, but he just sent me back. He just texted me, he said, brother, we are serving a living God. Amen, amen, we are serving a living God, amen. That the Bible says, if Christ be not risen, then we are all Liars. Amen. We are, our faith is in vain. Everything that we do is in vain if the Lord did not face from the dead. Of course, I believe that the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ is the greatest event in the history, and nothing greater has happened since, nor ever will happen again. Because, of course, this is the foundation of our faith. There will be no reason for us to be here if Christ Raised now from the dead. Amen? Okay, so the first witnesses of Christ's resurrection. First, the first witnesses, of course, we can see in this verses that it's Mary Magdalene and the other Mary. Those are the first witnesses. But I want you to see in chapter 27, in verse number 55. Chapter 27, verse number 25. Is that 25? Let me see. Oh, no, no. 55, I'm sorry. 27, 55. Let me read verse number 54. I will read that again. And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee ministering unto him. It says many women. Did not Christ call twelve men? Did not Christ train 12 men, and those 12 men saw how he walked on the water? And those 12 men saw how he raised from the dead? Oh, he gives sight to the blind? Those 12 men saw every miracle that the Lord performed. And of course, one of them, Peter, even walked on the water. And of course, Peter said, Lord, when the Lord Jesus Christ said that he will be killed, they said, not Lord, that will not happen. Of course, we know the story that he tried to even kill the soldiers, but we know the rest of the story, that he even denied the Lord. He said, I know not that man. But church, God will always use someone, a faithful witness, amen? Even Pilate, when he said, what shall I do then to this Christ? I found no fault in him. The wife of Pilate said, are you not going to do something to that just man? There's the woman there, the wife of Pilate. What I'm trying to say in church is, even in the Old Testament, the Lord said, I sought for a man. But praise God, there's a lot of faithful men here, amen? I see Brother Gary, I see Brother Haniff, the first, when I just came here, I asked Pastor Karl, how about, how's Brother Haniff, how's Brother Gary, how's Brother Noel, I keep asking men. Not because I forget the names of the ladies, but of course. In our church, 90% of our members are ladies. Yeah, in Cambodia. 60% of them are widows and seniors. But what I'm trying to say, church, most of the churches that we have now, there are more faithful women than men. Yeah. They are more faithful women than men. I said, and we say it again, the Bible says, and many women were there, beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him. Even the darkest hour to follow the Lord Jesus, those women stood, stayed faithful. They follow the Lord, and not only they follow of our own, they minister unto Him. Amen? So the first resurrection, the first witnesses on His resurrection, we can see in this verse are these faithful women. And Church, God will always honor faithfulness. Amen? God will reward, God will bless those who are faithful unto Him. Look at this verse, in verse number eight. Verse number six, first the angel appeared to this faithful woman. In verse number six he said, he is not here for his reason as he said, come see the place where the Lord lay and go quickly and tell his disciples. The woman was commanded to go and tell those 11 disciples. Of course, Judas is not there, so I said, 11. Go and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead. And behold, he goeth before you unto Galilee. There shall ye see him. Lo, I have told you. And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy, and did run to bring his disciples' word. And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them. You see, God honors faithfulness, amen? It is not Peter who saw the Lord first when he resurrected from the dead. It is those faithful ladies. God gave them the honor to see him first. Most of, of course, always say that ladies are not allowed to preach in the Baptist churches. Yeah, they are not allowed to preach behind the pulpit, but they are allowed to preach in the bedroom. I'm just kidding. But they are good teachers, amen? They can teach in the school. They can be a witness. They can be a sole winner. They can, even during knocking on those Saturdays, we have more women. Fellowship, we have more women. Cleaning, birthdays, we have more women. And praise God for you women, amen? Praise God. Praise God. I believe if there's no faithful woman here, if the pastor's wife, missionary's wife, or pastor's wife are not faithful, what kind of church do we have? We praise God. But not only, this message is not only for the woman, amen? I just want to encourage you tonight that sometimes we start doing things for a while, then when things got harder or something happened that we don't expect, if we don't get positive response from neighbors, from members, sometimes we quit. But these women, they stay faithful to minister and to the Lord. They minister, they followed the Lord Jesus Christ ministering unto him. So the first witnesses that we can see in his first resurrection, in his resurrection is those faithful women. Those faithful, not of course, not only faithful women, there are some faithful men also like Joseph of Arimathea. Nicodemus. But they are a little bit fearful, no? They don't show themselves. But of course, we know the story that Joseph begged the body of the Lord Jesus Christ and he buried the body of the Lord Jesus Christ in his tomb. He did not use the tomb, but he gave it. Anyway, you know the story. But of course, I believe, Church, that the only thing that we want to hear from the Lord is his word. Well done, thou good and faithful servant. Maybe you gave a lot for mission, but if you are not faithful, still, God will not tell you, well done, no good, because faithfulness is including everything. Are you faithful in your giving? Are you faithful in your prayer life? Are you faithful in your devotion? Are you faithful in your service? There will always be a reward, don't forget. There will always be a reward for our faithfulness. We may not know when it will come, But the Lord Jesus Christ said, he will reward it. Amen? So the second witnesses that we can see here, in verse number three to verse number four, and for fear of him, the keepers, the keepers, these keepers did shake and became as dead men for fear, the Bible says. These keepers are Roman soldiers, they are not Cambodian soldiers. They are not Filipino soldiers. They are not Filipino security guard. I have a cousin, one time that he was walking in Station Road in Baguio, and he saw a security guard of PNB, Philippine National Bank. And it was 10 o'clock in the evening. And that security guard was holding his shotgun. But he was sleeping. And my first cousin grabbed the shotgun and ran. He took the shotgun and ran. Fortunately, the street that he ran to, there are some police that are staying there. They have patrols. They caught him. You know what happened to the security guard? He was promoted. He was promoted to what? Taxi driver. Of course, they fired him, right? He was sleeping on the job. But if that security guard is a Baptist, he was holding the gun and sleeping. And the boss said, are you sleeping? In Jesus' name, amen. I'm just praying, sir. But fortunately, these are Roman soldiers. The keepers are Roman soldiers. And they know the punishment. If they will sleep, they will be put to death. Okay? And there's not only one soldier. The Bible says, And for fear the keepers did shake and became as dead men. And in verse number 9, verse number 11, Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch, some of the keepers, some of the guards, some of the soldiers, not all, praise God, but some of the watch came into the city and showed unto the chief priests all the things that were done. And when they were assembled, with the elders and had taken counsel, they gave what? Large money unto the soldiers, saying, Say ye, his disciples came by night and stole him away while we slept. And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him and secure you. So they took the money and did as they were taught. The first witnesses are the faithful. Second, I don't know how to put this, like Brother David showed me last night, his outline is the same, what? I don't know. I'm trying to make faithful, and I don't know how to put this in numbers, but I just put it, lovers of money. Or maybe you can put fatal soldiers, I don't know. But lovers of money, that's the only thing I can think about now. Because they said, they gave large money unto the soldiers, okay? And verse number 15, so they took the money and did as they were taught. And this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day. First we can see in verse number 12, they have a meeting. They assembled. Oh, I was able to put MMM here. They have a meeting. Verse number 12, they assembled. The second, they have money, and not just money, large amount of money. And they have mission to spread a lie. Tell them that his disciples came by night and stole him away. And number four, they have missionaries, the watch, the keepers. And these missionaries, they said they took the money and did as they were taught. They were not, they did not enter in the Bible school for four years or five years to become missionary. Just 15 minutes probably, here money, you have mission. Tell the people, tell the governor that they stole the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. Okay. The Bible says the love of money is When Judas Iscariot betrayed the Lord, how much money the priest gave to him? What is the price of the Lord Jesus Christ before he died? They gave him 30 pieces of silver. When Joseph, the dreamer, sold by his brethren, how much? 20 pieces of silver because he is a youth, 20. 30 pieces of silver is the price of adult slave. Before the Lord Jesus Christ died, when Judas betrayed him, his price to those priests, his value is just a value of what? Adult slave. But when the Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead, they cannot give just 30 pieces or 50 pieces. The Bible says a large amount of money. Enough money for those soldiers to put their life into risk. They know that if they will be found out that they are lying, they will be put to death. But the Bible says, this will be enough. I will resign. I will quit as a soldier. Okay, I'll just give it this. We'll probably just run away, bring my family. The Bible says a large amount of money. For what? To spread a lie. to spread the light. If you will visit in Cambodia, I will bring you to the temple of Buddhist temple near in our place. I observed that, of course, the temple is too expensive comparing, of course, to many of Buddhist churches. But I will not talk about the temple. I will just tell you about the wall, about the wall. Their wall is very beautiful, it's very nice, it's colorful, red and gold like that. But I've noticed something, it was written in every three meters, probably. Yeah, every three meters. I saw a writing and they put it in English. $500, then in Khmer, donated by Mr. Suka. And some $1,000, U.S. dollar, donated by Mr. Kim Moon. They put every name that donated or gave money for the temple. And I never saw $100, it's just, I think the lowest I saw is $300. There are $1,000, there are $2,000. What I'm trying to say, church, of course, Cambodia is a Buddhist country, 95% Buddhist country. But there are a lot of Mormons there. And of course, you know, Mormons, if they will build a Mormon church, it's huge, man. They spent a lot of money there in Cambodia to spread a lie. They teach that Jesus Christ and Lucifer is a brother. And they have JW there, Jehovah's Witnesses, to spread a lie. The Cambodian people, they said, if I shared the gospel, and they were able, they're used to heard or being shared by the Jehovah's Witnesses, they said, they will tell me, oh, I know Mr. Jesus also. You see, they just call him Mr. Jesus. Because those Jehovah's Witnesses teaching that Jesus Christ is just a man. And the Catholic churches, they're big, they spend a lot of money to spread a lie. They're teaching there that Mary is more powerful than the Lord Jesus Christ. Of course, we know Catholicism. I'm a former Catholic. Muslims are growing fast. They spend a lot of money. There's a lot of Filipino Muslim brother from Mindanao doing a mission work near in our province, 40 minutes away from our province, from that church that I'm pastoring. And every convert, not even convert, they will send to the Philippines to study or to work. What I'm trying to say, they spend money. What? To spend photos, tell a lie. Amen? The Bible says, some of the watch came into the city and showed unto the chief priests all the things that were done. They are the first people who saw that the Lord Jesus Christ is alive. They told, they tell to this priest. And when they were assembled with the elders and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers, saying, Say ye, his disciples came by night and stole him away while we slept. Verse number 15. So they took the money and did as they were taught. And this saying is commonly reported in this passage. Our clearing house told me and my family before going to Cambodia, that was 2009, they said, missionary, you have three kids, of course, a wife, you need to rent a house, you need to go to back to language study, and you need to pay your visa, so don't go to your mission field unless you have at least 1,300 US dollar to 1,500. That is for you maybe first year, and of course, as you start ministry, the needs will increase, and I believe so. But you know what? As I go around and do my deputation, I encourage people that God called me and I will follow Him by faith. And the Bible says without faith it is impossible to please Him. Church, by God's grace, we are in Cambodia. Even we only have 40% of our support. If I waited, to have that $1,200 a month before going there? Maybe until now, we're still doing depletion. Just going back, I'm raising money for the van. Oh, I'm sorry, it's not a van. We have Ferrari already, we have limousine. No, I'm raising for Lamborghini. We want good for the Lord, amen? We want the best for the Lord, amen? So we'll put Lamborghini. If I got that money, I will put the name Helmuth Baptist Church to donate 20,000, 10,000, 10,000 to put that. On BBC Gateway, I put 1,000. No, I'm just kidding. God knows your heart, man. But you know what? We will go back to Cambodia this January 27. Just the first or second week that we'll stay there, we need to pay 2,500 for our visa for our work permit, for the church permit, and there's a lot, not only 2005, just the first two weeks that we will be in there. So sometimes a pastor or a brother gave me a check or money, I will ask them, but thank you very much, we really appreciate this. Is this for the van, or for the family, or for me alone? No, I did not ask that. Pastor, as the Lord leads you, because if a church will give me that is for the van, I will not use that for anything else that is for the van. Yeah, by God's grace, we have already 8,000 for the van. Oh, I'm sorry, for the Lamborghini. I always forget, a sister told me, Pastor, you raise money not for the van, for the Lamborghini. Okay, so I'm raising for the Lamborghini now, Pastor. Okay, that's a lover-gini. It's lover for the Lord, amen? Of course, we stayed here, we travel, we spend time. So if that's for the family, that's the money that we use as we stay here. But what I'm trying to say, Church, we are there to spread the truth, not a lie. I believe God will supply our need as He faithfully provides our need. One time I made my pulpit, I built my pulpit, and a Cambodian pastor said, oh, do you know how to make it? Yes, sir. Can you build one for me? Okay, of course. And one time, I'm building a bunk bed for my boys. He said, oh, you know how to build a bunk bed? Yes, sir. Can you make one for my kids also? Yes. And after a few hours, he said, oh, I have a friend. He has an orphanage. Can you build? They want you to build. In seven days, I have $350 gained for building something. God is faithfully providing our needs. But church, can we not see that these people are willing to sacrifice to give a large amount of money to spread the light, to destroy the testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ, to destroy the Lord Jesus Christ? If these people are willing to give a large amount of money for those who destroy or for those who spread a lie, can we not give money for those people who give or spread the truth? Can we not sacrifice for the cause of the truth of the gospel? When we are new missionaries, of course, In the Philippines, I have a schedule Sunday morning, Sunday afternoon, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. It's really a blessing. They arrange a schedule for me. Sometimes I don't have voice. I preach one hour, two hours. And of course, one day my wife said, we feel that we are like a beggar because we just live out from the offering. So sometimes we think to, we think to invest or to have some business, but this is not our life, amen. The Bible says, they that preach the gospel shall live by the gospel. God will provide our needs, amen. But you know what? One time I was in California. A friend of mine brought me to his friend. He said, Pastor, I have a friend here. I brought you my friend. He's a Filipino missionary. He's a missionary in Cambodia. And the pastor looked at me and he looked at his friend. You did not visit me for a few months and now you just showed up and you brought a devourer with you?" He called me a devourer, Pastor. I said, he just showed up and you brought a devourer with you. You know, I grew up in the street, I can handle that. And I shook his hand, I said, Pastor, Maybe you don't give your tithe because the Lord said if you give your tithe, he will rebuke the devourer. And he said, you're a joker. No, I don't joke. I don't joke. If he tries to embarrass me, I know what to do because I'm a street boy. I grew up in the street. One time I'm giving a gospel tract. It's a paper. But I'm not telling you that you do this. Serve for you, please read. He took the Gospel tart and said, what's this? Can I eat this? I said, yeah, try it. If you want to, I have some more in you. I'll give you more. I said. I don't know what's that in English. Can you translate that brother? I asked you the right question and you tell me if I eat. I told him, I don't know if you eat paper. You saw it's already a paper. You saw it's a paper. And you asked me, can I eat this? I don't know if you're eating paper, but you can try if you want to. So the pastor said, brother, you bring a devourer. And I shook his hand. Pastor, I'm Brother Joseph de Vera. Maybe you don't give your tithe. That's why God sent me. Because in Malachi chapter 3, the Bible says he will rebuke the devourer if you give your tithe. He said, okay, come back tomorrow and you preach. Yes, it's not a joke. I preach. I preach in his prayer meeting, but after that, he did not support me and maybe he got offended with me. Some people think that missionaries are devourers. Some church members or even pastors think or treat missionaries like beggars. The Bible says the love of money is the root of all evil. And of course, in 1 Timothy chapter 6, oh, I just read that, 1 Timothy chapter 6, verse number 10, for the love of money is the root of all evil, which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith and purged themselves with many sorrows. Matthew chapter 6, verses 19 to 22. The Bible says, let's read Matthew chapter 6. Lay not up yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal. But lay up yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. For where your heart, for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Philippians chapter four. Many times we claim the verse Philippians 4.19, but my God starts to apply your need. But we need to read the whole context of this verse before we claim it. We claim that God will supply our needs, but if we don't know the whole context, that's not the proper message of this verse. In verse number 15, Now ye Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only. For even in Thessalonica, ye sent once and again unto my necessity, not because I desire a gift, but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. A fruit that may abound to your account. I preached the other day that like Elijah, God fed him. God used even the raven, God used even unsafe to feed his people, amen? and God will supply the needs of Apostle Pablo, the Bible says in verse number 18, but I have all and abound, I am full having received of Epaphroditus and things which were sent from you, an odor of a sweet smell, a sacrifice, acceptable, well-pleasing to God. Your support to the missionaries is an odor of a sweet smell, a sacrifice, acceptable, well-pleasing to God. That's what the Bible says, amen? And he said, but my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. This promise in verse number 19 was given to those who support the missionaries, amen? So if you are not giving your mission, if you are not faithful in your mission giving, if you are not supporting missionaries, if you are not supporting missions, church don't claim this verse. Yeah. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Amen. Church, what kind of witnesses are those in the second group that we saw in this chapter? The lovers of money. You know, it's sad to say that Some pastors are no longer in the ministry because of money. Some pastors, preachers, and I've seen also some missionaries are no longer in the mission field because of money. I know some missionaries in Cambodia. They are not in our group, but they are also Filipinos. But here in this country, they thought that when he came here to raise money to buy a property, they thought that he bought a property and build a school. They thought that he can preach in Khmer and everything. And he received a good amount, large amount of money. But one time they visited him, they surprised him, and they found out that those pictures that he is sending and showing in this country are not his. Those constructions that he sent are not his. He's just renting a school, and he's just renting a property, and of course, and he even, he cannot even preach in Khmer. And wow, what happened. Of course, you will saw what you will read, amen. That's why many times, if I'm in this country or in our country, I invite pastor, pastor, please. If you have time, please come and visit us in our field. Pastor Barker was able to visit us in Cambodia, Brother Noel. And they saw what kind of people we have there, what kind of village, or what kind of church, or what ministry do we have. We don't have a big building, air-conditioned. We have air-continuous, but... Yeah, continues there. But I want you to see the fruit of your support. Church, they said, they said, these people, they received the money and what did as they were taught. They just, it's simple. They spread a line, and they have our big support. I've noticed that, Pastor, those who spread a line receive more support. Right. While we're eating this afternoon, we're having fellowship. Praise God for those wonderful ladies are having fellowship with me. And we're in, suddenly we're just talking about, and Brother Edgar, we just talk about, after COVID, everything is up. It's not everything. Our support did not rise up. It's not everything. So we need to raise our faith. Amen? We need to raise our faith. We need to raise our giving so we can raise the support of the missionaries. Because you are not the only one having problem that everything you buy is expensive. Even in the mission field, everything you buy is expensive. And don't forget, you are supporting a missionaries that is spreading the truth, not a lie. And you have a God. You have fruit in your account. Amen? This is the work. This is our work. The Bible says, and ye shall be my witnesses. They have meeting, they have money, they have mission, they have missionaries. And we have also. Amen? We have mission conference meeting. We have money. I believe we have money. Maybe not large, but I believe we have money. And we have mission to spread the truth. And we have missionaries. And praise God, you have missionaries. Okay, last is in verse number 16. Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. The third witnesses are the fearless. This fearless, Before they saw the Lord Jesus Christ, after he died, before they witnessed his resurrection, they are not fearless. They are fearful. Amen. Those ladies, they stood faithful. Those ladies, they followed the Lord, they ministered the Lord Jesus Christ. But the 11, they scattered, they hide themselves. They even denied, Peter denied the Lord Jesus Christ. But when they saw him, when they saw him, From the very day, from the first day that they saw him, they became fearless. If you are going to study the life of the apostles, how they died, of course, most of them, if not all, they died as a martyr. Only Apostle John the Beloved died a normal death. But before he died, of course, he suffered persecution. Peter, who denied the Lord when he saw the Lord Jesus Christ, that he is alive, he died as a martyr. He was crucified upside down. I forgot the verse. I was not able to put it here, but it just came to my mind that there is a verse that says that those people make themselves addict in the ministry. Do you remember that, brother? I don't know what verse is that. It just came to my mind. It's not part of my message, but I just remember it. Those people, they make themselves what? addict in the ministry. So I found out from the Bible that addict is not a bad word, right? It depends what kind of addict you are, amen? Actually, I'm an addict, Pastor. I'm addict of basketball. Sometimes I hurt my leg because I teach basketball in Cambodia. I really play basketball, but of course not good as pastor. I wish it's like him, but I hurt my ankle and I cannot walk. But every time you heard the ball, boom, boom, you want to go there. And your wife said, where are you going? Just go outside. Don't play basketball. Yeah, I will not play. How can I play? You see, I have a bad ankle. But before you know it, you're playing. So I found out. Addict means you cannot live without doing that thing. And some people now, are addict of cell phone. It's like we cannot live without our cell phone. Okay? But the Bible says they make themselves addict in the ministry. It means they cannot live without serving the Lord. But can we go to the drug addicts to compare? Drug addicts are willing to die for their addiction. Yes, sir? Drug addicts are not afraid to do whatever they need to do to fulfill their addiction. Drug addicts are willing to leave their family because of their addiction. Drug addicts will even sell their kids in order for them to have money to buy cocaine or shabu. We call it shabu in the Philippines. What is shabu here, brother? Brother Noel. Oh, that is. I will say it's shabu. Okay. Crystal meth. Okay. I've been in the Philippines. Of course, I preach in the Philippines, in the streets, under the street or whatever. I've talked to some parents that there are some people there that they will let their kids play in the side of the street so if they got accident or they've been hit by the car, they just Well, give me money so they can buy me. And I've seen that also in Cambodia. They sell their kids. Addicts are not afraid to do anything for their addiction. And you know what? Addicts are generous. They will share. Subukan mo. Try it. It's free. It's free. Try it. Come on. Drug addict makes discipleship, they will find converts. Yeah. No, it's okay, just try once, don't worry, I will not tell your mom, I will not tell your dad, just try, come on, it's free, come on, come on, come on. Then if that addict already, she need it, now it's not free, you have to wait. Now if she cannot pay, if he cannot pay, what? He will go home and find for the cell phone of her dad or the pocket of mom or whatever and they will learn to steal. They will learn to lie. They will learn even to kill for their addiction. And I cannot still find the verse, I'm trying to remember what the verse, but the Bible says this, people make themselves addict in the ministry. If we are addict in the ministry, we should be willing to share what we have for the ministry, amen? We should not be afraid to go in the dangerous place. Addicts are not afraid to go in a dangerous place. They've been locked up. They've been to a prison, they've been to terrible things or places, but they still do it, they still do it. Many of the addict will die, addict. Alcohol, cigarette, gambling, or illegal drugs, and I hope I don't know if we are addict in the ministry, but I hope we feel incomplete if there is a time that we cannot serve the Lord. If it's not like, oh, Sunday again. I need to watch football. Oh, service again. Oh, service again, amen? We cannot wait to go to church. We cannot go to go and share the gospel. We cannot wait to fellowship with our Brethren, and the Bible says, and when they saw him, they worshiped him. But some, those who don't fully believe, those who doubt the Lord Jesus Christ, Of course, we not follow Him. If you have a doubt in your heart, that if you will die, you are not sure of heaven, it's time for you to receive Him, to believe. He's not a liar. He said, these things I have written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life. God don't want you to live in a doubt. If you have a doubt that God will supply your needs, you have to repent. If you have a doubt that He will be with you wheresoever you will go, you have to repent. Because what? And when they saw Him, they worship Him. God is looking for a true worshiper. And if you are a true worshiper, the Bible says in Acts chapter 1, verse number 8, and ye shall receive power. Amen. You will not receive power if you are a doubter. You will not receive power if you are fearful. And ye shall be my witnesses after that ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you. Church, the three groups, the first three groups that saw the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, first are those faithful. And praise God for you faithful. I know you are faithful, that's why you are here. And second are those fatal or lovers of money, the enemy of God. Yes, they are unsaved. They are the enemy of the Lord. But some Christians, some preachers, some pastors, some members, they are also sometimes, or not all sometimes, they love money more than the Lord Jesus Christ. For those unsaved, it's normal. They love the money more than the Lord Jesus Christ because they're unsaved women. They are the enemy of the Lord. That's normal. But to us, if we are Christian, the Bible says you cannot serve God and money. Okay? And of course, the third are the fearless. So I hope tonight, as we conclude our missions conference. During the Sunday school, I preach about what is mission. Mission is partnership. Mission is going. Mission is relationship. Mission is goal. Mission is preaching the word of God. Mission is compassion. And during Sunday morning worship, I preach about we are doing a great work. It's a great work because we give not only money, but we give protection. We gave living hope, and it's a great work because it is the work of the Lord. And of course, in the evening, we preach about how to stay in the great work. Don't compromise, do not fear, and keep praying. And of course, you remember the rest? Just yesterday, the woman who did what she could, and now. We are the true witnesses of Christ's resurrection. If we believe and if we don't have doubt that we are serving a living God, Don't be afraid. Amen. I'm not encouraging you to be addict. But I'm just trying to encourage you to be faithful in the ministry that God entrusted to us. And let's do more. Let's do more for His glory. Father, once again, we thank you for your word. Truly, O God, sometimes that we doubt if you will provide our needs, if we will follow the intermission period. Sometimes there's a doubt in our heart if we will be able to pay our bills or everything that we need to pay. If we will give or double our payment. Father, please forgive us. Father, please remove those doubts in our heart. Remove those fears. Remove everything that is not pleasing to you. Just help us, oh God. to invest, to treasure, to lay our treasures in heaven. We are spreading the truth and not the lie. Just pray, Father, help us to be the faithful, to be the Christian that you want us to be, and faithfully sharing the good news. Thank you for this church. Let your name be magnified, Father, even for the rest of this invitation. In Christmas, precious name of Christ, amen. Let's keep our heads bowed and our eyes closed. Are we being faithful and spreading the truth of the gospel in comparison to those that are so committed and spreading the lies to deceive people? What a convicting thought. So bring message. I was able to find that scripture, but the de Vera was looking for his first Corinthian 16 verse 15, which says, I beseech you, brethren, ye know the house of Stephanus, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints. Before that, in verse 13, it says, watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong, that all your things be done with charity. And that's the disposition we ought to have as God's people I pray if nothing else, this missions conference was used to really motivate a fire in our hearts of getting the gospel out. It's not just getting the gospel to Cambodia. It's when we leave the doors of this church, like some churches have, you are now entering your mission field. It's our coworkers, our neighbors, our family members, our relatives, our friends. What are we doing to share with them the gospel message? Why don't we all stand together as our pianist begins to play, and it's our last
