Alright, we're gonna pop right into a little bit of what has been going on obviously we New York has Gotten a bit of a lot of press in the last few days with my mom Donnie or if I'm saying his name, right? Elected as mayor of New York City. That's a huge huge move in our country Very unusual, but I think it's going to become much more commonplace than it is unusual In the coming days, so I look at New York you look at Michigan major cities there you look at Minnesota some of the other major urban areas and the Muslim world is definitely doing what they intended to do and which is get into the country as many as they can from the Middle East, start having as many children as they can, and begin their trek, if you will, to take over the United States. I don't say that loosely. It is certainly their goal. Whether they will accomplish it or not remains to be seen, but it's definitely getting our attention.
If this kind, and again, we're looking at it from a prophetic perspective, and the political always plays into the prophetic perspective because there's so much dealing with governments in the Bible.
So when you look at what's taking place and you have a conservative Republican named Christian who is the president right now, now whether he is A believer like those in this room tonight is still suspect, but at least he, from a Christian perspective, that's what he claims is who he is.
So when you look at that, when you look at the strength of our country right now and the strength of the leadership and something this, if you will, catastrophic takes place, in our country.
You say, why is it catastrophic? We have freedom of religion. Yes, we do. We have freedom of, I mean, you can choose to believe what you want. You can choose whatever religion you want to follow. All that is true.
The issue being that America was not founded on, if you will, the Muslim beliefs. It was founded as a Christian nation. Literally, when the folks came from England, their Britain Their main goal was to, yes, get religious freedom, but what did that mean? It meant getting away from the tyranny of the state and being able to practice their reading their Bibles and preaching from their Bibles and having churches that weren't run by, if you will, the state.
So that's been the history of our country and now all of a sudden things are beginning to change.
So what does that mean to us? Well, we're going to get into it.
When you see how the Jewish people are being treated, it's a good indicator of which way the country is going. Anti-Semitism in New York has gone up dramatically over the last couple of years. And now it's almost tongue-in-cheek because you look at the politics that's taking place, you look at the anti-Semitism or basically being against the Jewish people that's taking place, and the new mayor is stating that he is not for anti-Semitism. He outright rejects it according to what he states in his political speeches. However, if you've listened to his rhetoric before he was elected, it's quite a different story. So I guess you'll just have to figure out what he really believes, and one day we'll figure it out, even though I think we already have.
All right. Vandals defaced a New York Jewish day school with swastika graffiti on Tuesday night. Of course, this is, we're talking November 8th, so we're just talking a short time ago. The New York Police Department and New York Governor Kathy Hochul reported A Jewish cemetery and emergency medical services dispatch center were also vandalized.
All right, so the news, even in the liberal media, came out pretty strong associating these things with the mayor's, if you will, winning of the election. So what do we have? I'm gonna give you a little bit from the Jerusalem Post here.
Vandals defaced a New York Jewish day school with swastika graffiti on Tuesday night. The New York Police Department said it had found out about the graffiti on Megan David Yeshiva Day School in Brooklyn. Now, Yeshiva is basically, if you're not familiar with that term, it's basically for very orthodox or Hasidic, ultra-orthodox Jewish boys. That's the normal use of it. If you go to, again, some on the north side in the Sherman Park area, I've been to a couple of their yeshivas there, and it really is something. I mean, you walk in, and it's very old-fashioned-style desks. The Torah scrolls are in the back. I mean, everything's in Hebrew. And they really, really push learning, of course, the first five books of the Bible, the Torah, and studying that. But that's what a yeshiva is. So it's basically a Jewish school, very orthodox, and this is what was attacked in New York.
So the school said the incident was a shameful act of hate and that it was grateful for support from the New York Police Department and local, state, and federal elected officials.
Extra security funding for New York Jewish community. At a Wednesday press conference, The governor hokumet with faith leaders. I I always bristle when I see that Faith leaders are anybody that claims any type of a religion. So when you see faith-based leaders or faith leaders, it basically means Anything and everything. It's a total eclectic group Kits my feet Pete place here so Huckle met with faith leaders and politicians to denounce a spate of anti-semitic incidents in addition anti-semitic graffiti had been discovered overnight at a pet Zala Dispatch Center and around Washington Cemetery To all those in this community who are feeling anxious, especially the parents of the school, the children, know that we stand here to protect you, Hochul said. That is my solemn commitment to every one of you.
Graffiti made by Donovan Hall on the door of the Blue, oh, forget that, it's a picture. I view what happened today as an act of terrorism, a violation of our safety and security. When we stand together, we are one community, she said. An attack on one is an attack on all of us, and you will not get away with this.
Hochul said she was increasing security funding, get this, for Jewish sites from $70 million to $90 million in the next budget. That's a significant chunk of change, obviously, for law enforcement purposes.
Mayor Eric Adams condemned the incident. Anti-Semitism has no place in our schools. It's typical government rhetoric. Anytime a bad incident happens, every politician says the exact same thing. We have no place for this. We condemn it heartily. What I would rather see is you get $90 million worth of cops on the streets and make sure it doesn't happen again, instead of just using rhetoric and condemning it.
Republican politicians blame mayor-elect Zoran Mamdani for normalizing anti-semitism in the city. Mamdani is ushering in the pro-terrorist, anti-semitic takeover of New York City, aided and abetted by the worst governor in American America, Kathy Hochul, Republican Elise Stefanik, posted on social media. Again, you can take or leave the politics. It's simply the reason I Bring it to your attention is whether you agree or not with the political stance here It's showing the progression of what's taking place in our country from a religious standpoint and a political standpoint
New York City Councilwoman Ina Vernovic said the incident had occurred after Mamdani was elected The anti-Semites are emboldened. She said, this is not a game. The Jewish Federation of New York said it was outraged by the incident. It was working with local law enforcement. This act is a painful reminder of the rising tide of anti-Semitism that continues to threaten Jewish communities across New York, it said.
All right, so again, here's a picture. If you haven't seen it, it's all over everywhere. I mean, every media outlet. outlet is showing the swastika, if you will, on this yeshiva. So, from a biblical perspective, what does this tell us? Well, we know, and we're going to look at several things scripture-wise in just a moment, that when you watch anti-Semitism taking place in our country, it's obviously pointing to something is wrong here, something is not working like it should.
Let's go to the Christian side of things and I I just read this a little bit earlier today. I forgot Berkeley I believe it was Berkeley had a turning point Event earlier this week, which apparently had the bad part of it that was kept under wraps But it's out there with pictures now violence took place. There was a strong contingency of protesters against Turning Point, which of course that was the Charlie Kirk group, which is now Erica Kirk's group, his wife.
So we're watching that which many Christians were somewhat hopeful that maybe God's going to bring at least somewhat of a revival through the Turning Point ministries, which is, yes, I think on one side that is happening to a degree, but on the other side it's very hard to preach to college kids to get beyond cultural Christianity and get to true Christianity. So people get hyped up, they jump on the bandwagon, They're like, yep, we're all for Christianity, we're all for conservative politics, and you have this movement of conservative individuals that are buying Bibles and some of them are reading them. That's a good thing.
if what is really happening to a large extent is cultural Christianity. And you say, well, what do you mean by that? They're not true Christians. It's basically, they're getting the basics, they're understanding some of the things, but they're not putting their faith in Christ yet. So there's this big conservative, I'm on the bandwagon, we're all rah-rah. conservative politics and conservative Christianity and we're going against a lot of the social ills of our society and it becomes a cultural movement instead of a true revival.
So again, I think some folks are getting saved out of it. That's wonderful. Praise the Lord for that. But unfortunately, when you have this methodology, you're also going to get a lot of folks that, yeah, they hear some good stuff, but is it really registering where Jesus Christ is the only answer? And again, that's a work in progress. So I don't mean to disparage the group. I think they're trying. in their way to do a good thing, and I think they are producing some good results. But again, if we jump on nothing more than a cultural, well, I go to a church, and it doesn't matter what church it is, but I'm back in church. That's a problem. You say, what do you mean it's a problem going to church? Well, if the church isn't teaching biblical truth, that's a problem.
The great majority of churches in America that call themselves Christian denominational churches, others, that don't believe in salvation by placing their faith in Christ and Christ alone, it's a false church. It's heretical and it's not going to help anyone. It may make them think they're a little bit more moral or a little bit more ethical, but without Christ, let me see, when they die, where are they going? The lake of fire. Without Christ, it's hopeless.
So again, I'm pleased with some of the things we're seeing, but on the other hand, we need to really make sure we don't get caught up in cultural Christianity and make sure we're following the real deal.
All right, so basically I said, where's America at right now? We're seeing America starting to slide again. We saw a huge slide under the previous administration. Now, even with a conservative, Quote-unquote Christian in the White House. What are we seeing? We're seeing a massive movement on the liberal Anti-conservative side is really starting to ramp up
I didn't even think of this yesterday. I'm watching the news with Valerie and Maybe you saw the clip of the honor flight. Anybody see the honor flight clip last night? Okay, a couple of you. Who stuck his nose in the honor flight plane to welcome the people to Washington? Former President Obama. Why in the world he hasn't shown his face in a long time, except for some political rallies. And all of a sudden he shows up on a, on an honor flight, which is getting extreme attention and it's all rah, rah and good to go.
Folks, Valerie pointed out, and I think she's right. This is, they're starting now, because they have significant momentum. What happened in New York gave the liberal, anti-God, pro-Islamic, pro-Palestinian groups a massive charge. And again, President Obama will deny that he's Muslim, but certainly some of his background leads that way. It's very interesting what's taking place. And if we don't see a resurgence of true Christianity and only cultural Christianity, I'm not saying we're in trouble, but we certainly aren't going in a good direction.
Let's look at some things on this from what happened. How about Esther chapter three, historical anti-Semitism? Which, by the way, when you go against Israel, what happens to your country? Yeah, nosedive. Keep that Genesis 12. I mean, we quote it all the time. Genesis 12.3, what's it say? I will bless those who what? Bless Israel, and I will curse those who what? Curse Israel.
So when your country, our country, begins to go in an anti-Semitic direction, The feds say, nope, we're not going that way. Even the person that is going that way is denying he's going that way, which is the mayor of New York. And we got some suspect issues. Well, let's see, has Satan been trying to get rid of the Jewish people ever since they were started? Yeah, they have.
Esther chapter 3, most of you remember this, after these things King Ahasuerus promoted Haman the son of Hamadathah the Agagite. By the way, Agagite in Esther chapter 3. Someone was told to kill all the Amalekites, do you remember that back in the Old Testament? The Agagites were descendants and part of the Amalekites. If they would have been killed like they were told to do, the Jewish people were told to take them out, this issue wouldn't have happened. This is what happens when you fail to follow the Lord. So we have Haman, the son of Hamadathah, the Agagite, who should have been never existed, and advanced him and set his seat above all the princes who were with him. And all the king's servants were within the king's gate bound and paid homage to Haman. Guy had a little bit of a ego issue. For so the king had commanded concerning him.
But Mordecai, remember Mordecai? Jewish guy, basically. caught up in this pagan area, but he is there with his Jewish people. But Mordecai would not bow or pay homage, of course, to Haman. Then the king's servants who were within the king's gate said to Mordecai, why do you transgress the king's command? Now it happened when they spoke to him daily and he would not listen to them that they told it to Haman to see whether Mordecai's words would stand. For Mordecai had told him that he was a Jew. It's kind of like in New York City, if you wear orthodox clothes or ultra-orthodox type clothing, you're probably going to get punched sooner or later or spit on or yelled at. Mordecai let the cat out of the bag here, so to speak.
Verse 5, when Haman saw that Mordecai did not bow or pay him homage, Haman was filled with wrath. but he disdained to lay hands on Mordecai alone, for they had told him of the people of Mordecai. Instead, Haman sought to destroy all the Jews who were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, the people of Mordecai.
Mordecai told him to answer Esther. Now, who is Esther? Esther became the what? The queen, all right? Jewish young lady who marries into the pagan world. of which Haman happened to be part, and King Ahasuerus was the boss. So Mordecai told them to answer Esther, do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king's palace any more than all the other Jews. He's saying, listen Esther, if something doesn't happen, if somebody doesn't stand up and take a stand here, we're all gonna die, and even though you're the queen, they're gonna figure out you're a Jew and they're gonna kill you too.
Verse 14, for if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. And here comes that famous verse. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this." Folks, we're in such a time as this. We're watching anti-Semitism grow, we're watching a movement against Christianity. President Trump actually signed an executive order defending Christians. Not that that's going to mean a whole lot, just like most laws it will get violated, but it's interesting. It's very interesting that we have a president that is supporting the Christian community while at the same time we have major parts of our country that are going in a totally opposite direction such as New York.
Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai, go gather all the Jews who are present at Shushan and fast for me, neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise, and so I go to the king, which is against the law, and if I perish, I perish. So Mordecai went his way and did according to all that Esther commanded him.
All right, so what's the point? At such a time as this, are we going to take a stand Are we going to defend that which is right? Are we going to keep preaching what we should? Are we going to keep teaching what we should? Folks, I understand many of you don't like politics or getting involved in it. And it is cumbersome. But the minimum, folks from the Christian community, if we don't start voting and we don't start going to the polls, we're just going to keep watching our country go down, down, down, down, down into the deep rabbit hole of Islam and anti-Christian, anti-Semitic, and so forth.
So you say, are there enough Christians? Are there enough conservatives? Well, folks, think about what just happened in the last year plus. We went from a total, and again, Think about, try not to get involved in the politics, but what is taking place from a conservative Christian standpoint. We went from a total anti-God, globalistic, anti-biblical worldview individual, all the way over to the opposite spectrum where the country voted in a guy that was a polar opposite of this, and now we have this. So did the voting take place and did it change the course of America, at least for the time being? It did.
So here's where we're lacking as a country and as a church universal. I strongly believe that God's people were hitting the prayer altar four years ago and five years ago and three years ago and two years ago. Every church was praying. Every church was seeking a change, knowing that America was about ready to go down into a horrible, horrible rabbit hole. The economy was gone. Our security was gone. The borders were open. The fuel issue, we were becoming energy dependent on other countries. Everything was just going in a horrible direction. So we get down, we pray, we beg God, and all of a sudden, boom. God gives us, in my opinion, some relief, at least for the time being.
So we go back to that old Jewish prayer, which I believe is still applicable for the church if we apply it to it. 2 Chronicles 7, 14, you all know it. If my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray, turn from their wicked ways, seek my face, what will we do? He said, I'll hear from heaven, I'll heal your land. Well, I misquoted it a little bit, but you got the idea. We don't pray. The church is prayerless across the country. And we just expect everything, status quo, everything's going to be fine. Well, folks, it's not going to be fine if we don't start moving in a right direction again in the next three years before America is totally swallowed up in socialism, Marxism, and eventually communism. We preached on it for four years. All of a sudden, we got a reprieve, and it's like, ah, it's all good now. No, it's not. So it's coming.
One more and then we'll go into Daniel, Matthew chapter 24, speaking about what's going to be coming during the midpoint of the seven-year tribulation. So again, the next major event is the rapture, the removal of the church-age saints. The Antichrist will come on the scene, confirm a peace treaty with the Jewish people, but then he's gonna mess it all up, and the worst persecution of all time, which we've talked about many a time, is gonna take place. What's taking place in New York and other places is setting the stage for what the Antichrist will do.
Therefore, Jesus said, when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by, oh, look at that, Daniel the prophet standing in the holy place basically within the temple whoever reads let him understand then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Is Jerusalem in Judea by the way in that region? The answer is yes. Remember, it's Judea, Samaria, Galilee. Jerusalem is in that first region of Judea.
Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days. Why? Because they have to flee. They don't have time to even get their baby clothes. He's like, don't turn around. Don't go get your baby buggy. Don't get your bottles. Run or you're going to die.
And pray, verse 20, that your flight may not be in winter on the Sabbath, for then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, basically kept to that seven-year period, no flesh would be saved, but for the elect's sake, those days would be shortened.
Wait a second, he said, listen, Fleer, what's going to happen? How many times have you heard me quote this verse, Zechariah 13, 8 and 9? The worst Holocaust of all time is yet to come. What's taking place in America and around the world with the tremendous uptick in anti-Semitism is setting the stage for this.
And it shall come to pass in all the land, says the Lord, that two-thirds, speaking of the Jewish people, two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die, but one-third shall be left in it. I will bring the one-third through the fire. We'll refine them as silver is refined. and test them as gold is tested. They will call on my name and I will answer them. I will say, this is my people, and each one will say, the Lord is my God.
So the worst Holocaust of all times, as we've said many a time, is yet to come. And we're seeing the beginning stages of that even in our own country. All right, I'm gonna stop there. We'll pick this up. at a later time, but we'll close with this as we always do with Prophecy Focus.
Again, if you've not seen that picture, it was put out by the White House. Is President Trump going to be known as the Peace President? Well, he's trying on certain ends for sure. We'll see how history plays out, but that's the message the White House wants us to have. But here's a message that God wants us to have.
Therefore, I exhort, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority. Why? That we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.
All right, let me just back us up to what we talked about. When you look at the antisemitism, most of that is not going to affect anyone in this room. What took place at Berkeley this week When the riots began and the protesters began to fire back at the conservative Christian movement called Turning Point, that's just setting the stage for what is to come.
So God said, listen, pray for those in leadership. If you got weak law enforcement, if you have a weak government, by the way, why did God establish government? Genesis chapter nine, verse six. God established human government. The first thing he did after the universal catastrophic flood was he said, listen, if somebody kills someone, instead of me killing them from now on, you're responsible to take their life as punishment. It was the institution of capital punishment, which of course was done with human government. So God established whether you, In the New Testament, I know some will say, well, I don't believe in capital punishment and I'm against it. We're not going to go there. That's not the point for tonight. The point is God established human government to protect you.
Catch that. God established human government to protect God fearing good people and to punish those who are bad. If you're going to kill somebody, you're going to murder somebody. Bible said. At least back in Genesis, you take their life. It's part of human government.
So what do we do? We pray for the right people and authority that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men and women to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
If you've never placed your faith in Christ, might I encourage you to do that. It's not what we do, it's what Jesus did. You know the verse, for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him and is what his death, burial, and resurrection should not perish but have everlasting life.
