The Picture of Marriage

The picture of a husband and a wife is a picture of Jesus Christ and the Church. The marriage relationship is designed to bring glory to God. There are times when women marry men thinking they will change them. Women are not to marry men that they will have trouble obeying. Men are called to be husbands that love their wives and lay down their lives for them. Men must love so much that they would die for their wives. The authority that men are given is for the good of their wives. The husband is accountable to God for the way he leads the family. When people see the true picture of marriage they see the Gospel and it is believable.
