Welcome to the From the Field broadcast. It is my hope and prayer that God will use this message to touch your heart. Thank you for listening. May God bless.
What took place in this chamber? The Bible calls it the inner court where Esther went to. It was an inner courtyard. It was one that was without view. It was not visible from the public's eye. It was a place where an inner garden and an inner courtyard. Esther was there alone. with the king. Esther was there speaking to the king in this inner place.
Can I remind us tonight? For he hath made him to be sin for us who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. How was that possible? How? How does God make Jesus, who knew no sin, sin for us that we might be called the righteousness of God, that we might have the righteousness of God?
Between the sixth and the ninth hour on the cross, the sun went out. Darkness was over the face of the earth. Darkness covered Calvary. God, the Father, had private dealings with his son, that no man could peek on the inner court and see. He says this in Isaiah 53. He says, Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him. I want you to listen tonight with your heart. He hath put him to grief, and thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin. He shall see a seed and He shall prolong his days and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. He shall see the travail of his own soul. And shall be satisfied by his knowledge, shall my righteous servant justify many, for he shall bear their iniquities.
I want you to know what took place when that king held out that scepter. I want you to know whose hand the whip was in. I want you to know whose hand the scepter was in. That allows us to enjoy the grace of God. That allows us to walk freely. That allows us to partake in the righteousness of God.
Members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones, that please God to preach it. God in His holiness must judge sin. It had built up over year after year after year. God had picked up the rug and swept it under. But on this day, it was all going to be taken care of. Sin past, sin present, sin future, all of it gone. God poured out His wrath on His only begotten Son. Every last drop of His wrath. Dumped it out. Spited. Wrung it out. There was nothing else left to give. There was no more wrath left in God. His holiness had reacted to the fullest extent to the sin of man that was placed on Jesus. And He was satisfied. I'm glad to know tonight that God is satisfied in Jesus.
Paul was so worried about those Galatian believers. He said, what? He said, have you? Have you? Who fools Galatians? Who bewitched you? You started out right, but you've gone back. Now you're trying to do it in your own power. Christ, he is my sanctification. He's my justification. He's my redemption. He's my everything.
When I ponder on this truth, Jesus told Peter, Peter, get in that boat, son. He said, launch out in the deep. Let down your necks for a drop. In other words, He's saying, get on out there, son. Let's not just enjoy the water on the shoreline. Let's ease on out there. Like old, old prophet Ezekiel. He said that angel took him by the hand and laid him out a thousand cubits. And he was in water to his ankles. Enjoying that. Wow, how cool it felt. My goodness. He splashed around and had a wonderful time. But he said he took him by the hand and said, Come out another thousand. I was in water and I said, up to my knees. And then he said, that's really good. And then he said, a thousand more cubic to his loins. And then he went 1,000 more cubits and said, man, I'm in waters to swim in. He said, behold a river that I cannot get over.
And I say, come on, enjoy the grace of God. Stand on the face of Christ. It'll be so good when it all becomes dark, when there's nobody around, when the worst of the worst come. You can stand flat footed. You can know for sure you're in the family of God. I'm going to call you brothers exactly where you are. I'm glad, I'm glad I'm saved. But moreover, I'm glad he saved me.
Wait now. Joshua, when he was carrying those men, those priests, they had the ark of God. They put it on their shoulders. They were going into Canaan land. He walked out. Those priests walked out in the water. Those priests went first. I don't know what they did, but I like to take something like this. Come on this way. Come on. This is the way. We're not going back in the wilderness no more. We're not going to rely on animals no more. We thank God for Moses. He's a good leader. But now there's a different way. We're going to go on forward. We're going to look to this captain of the Lord's host now. Come this way. Come this way. Oh, if I don't know if I have the strength tonight, but in some way I can't get a few folks to just say, come this way. Come this way. Come this way. It's a good way. Come this way. Come this way. Come this way. It's a good way. That's all I say I just look in the Bible and I say, man, right there's Jesus again. I get over there to Mark and I say, man, there He is speaking again. I get over there to Esther and I say, there He is again. I get over there to the first Jesus and I say, man, there He is again. I get over there to Joshua and I say, my goodness, right there He is again. I get over there to Exodus and I say, my goodness, there He is again. And I get over there to Revelation and I see Him. Right there again. Oh, it's him tonight.
What else do we do when we see him, preacher? Oh, we bow down. Oh, the depth. of the riches of both the wisdom and knowledge of God. How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways are past finding out. Who hath known the mind of the Lord, who hath been his counselor, who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompense unto him again. For of him and through him and to him are all things to whom be glory forever. Amen.
Father, in Jesus name, I want to thank you, Lord, for your grace tonight. Thank you, Lord, for how you intervene in the life of Esther and her people, how you extended that golden scepter, sent out the letter of life. I'm grateful, Lord, tonight for salvation, full and free. for your doing, Lord, for what you've done. I pray tonight you'd help us, Lord, now. I pray the one that's tried to bargain with you, the one that's tried to resist, the one that's tried to get it in their own way, would you help them tonight to come to you? I pray for the Saint of God tonight. Lord, as Paul prayed, as an example for us all to pray, Lord, open my eyes. Can I see you one more time? Help us now in Jesus' name.
Let's all stand all over the building. I want to give you an opportunity, if God's spoken to you in any way, to respond Find yourself in this altar one more time. As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.
Thank you for tuning into the broadcast today. I hope and pray it's been a blessing to you. Please send all correspondence to Brother Andrew at P.O. Box 2237, Blairsville, Georgia, 30512. Thank you. May God bless you.
He's been so good to me. That is the least that I could afford. He's made the good times outnumber the bad. And he's been the best friend that I've ever had. I just want to thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord.
