This is the audio version of
Liberty Gospel track TRE 174. The title is Asheville, Los Angeles. Floods to Fires. What is Coming? God wants you to know what is
coming. The Bible says the Lord is not slack concerning his promise,
as some men count slackness, but is long-suffering to us-ward,
not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3 verse 9. God is showing you what is coming,
because he does not want you to perish. The Bible says, For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting
life. John 3 verse 16 What is God trying to show us
about the future through the events of Asheville and Los Angeles? Asheville, North Carolina had
devastating rain and flooding. When we think about floods, what
historical event comes to our minds? The worldwide flood in
the days of Noah. God said, and behold, I, even
I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth. Genesis 6, 17. For yet seven days, and I will
cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights. Genesis 7, verse 4. Why did God bring this flood
upon the whole earth? The Bible says, And God saw that
the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every
imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Genesis 6 verse 5. But what does that have to do
with Asheville? I quote, according to the latest
United States census, the Asheville area has 83% more lesbian, gay,
bisexual, transgender, and queer, that is LGBTQ+, identified people
than the typical American city or town. God calls that behavior
wicked and says that he will judge it. Bible says for this
cause God gave them up unto vile affections, for even their women
to change the natural use into that which is against nature.
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman
burned in their lust one toward another, men with men, working
that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense
of their error which was meet, and even as they did not like
to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate
mind, to do those things which are not convenient. Who, knowing
the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are
worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in
them that do them." Romans 1 verses 26 through 28 and verse 32. What about Los Angeles? Los Angeles
held the world's first LGBTQ plus parade in 1970. One of its taverns claims to
be, I quote, the site of the first documented LGBTQ plus civil
rights demonstration in the nation, end quote. They claim to have,
quote, the world's largest research library dedicated to honor and
archive LGBTQ plus history, end quote. What does all this have
to do with the fires? Sodom and Gomorrah was also the
hotspot for sodomy, and this is what God said. And the Lord
said, because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because
their sin is very grievous. Genesis 18 verse 20. Bible says, Then the Lord rained
upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord
out of heaven. Genesis 19, verse 24. Before God destroyed Sodom by
fire, he rescued Lot, who was a believer, It is going to be
like the days of Noah and Lot when Jesus comes to take Christians
to heaven. The Bible says, And as it was
in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the
Son of Man. Likewise, also as it was in the
days of Lot, even thus shall it be in the day when the Son
of Man is revealed. Luke 17, 26-30. My friend, God does not want
you to perish in the coming judgment. Repent of your sin, and receive
the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior before judgment falls. The Lord Jesus Christ. is the
Son of God, God Almighty in the flesh. He is Master, Savior,
and Messiah, the Creator of heaven and earth. He died on the cross
for you and gave his pure, sinless blood to pay the wages of your
sin, which is death. Romans 6, verse 23. The Lord
Jesus Christ then arose from the grave the third day proving
that his blood fully paid for your sins. To be saved, you must
call upon him from your heart. The Bible says that if thou shalt
confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine
heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be
saved. For whosoever shall call upon
the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10, verses 9 and
13. Bow your head in prayer and tell
the Lord Jesus that you are sorry for your sin and ask him to save
you, to cleanse you. After we ask the Lord Jesus Christ
to save us, then God instructs us to openly confess him by getting
baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Baptism
does not save us. It is a picture and testimony
of us now identifying our lives with Jesus. When we go under
the water, it pictures death to the old life of sin. And when
we come up out of the water, It pictures a new life serving
the Lord Jesus Christ. My friend, there is a horrible
judgment coming, just as God did in the days of the flood.
He promised he would never send another worldwide flood, but
as you can see from Asheville, the devastation and the death
that came, judgment came upon them. You see the devastation
and judgment that God has brought upon Los Angeles, the fires. God destroyed Sodom by fire. My friend, a horrible judgment
is coming. Receive the Lord Jesus Christ
today. Repent of your sin and by faith
