Praise his holy name. Praise his holy name. We're going to read in two different
places and not that we need to preach anything after for that
wonderful message, but the Lord's called us to preach, and we gotta
do our little part, right, with the Lord's help. And the Bible
says in John, the 12th chapter and the 38th verse, it says,
that the saying of Isaiah is, the prophet might be fulfilled,
of which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and
to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed. Therefore they
could not believe because that Isaiah said again, He hath blinded
their eyes and hardened their heart, that they should not see
with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, and be converted,
and I should heal them. These things saith Esaias when
he saw his glory and spake of him. So we're going to read that
first verse again. Esaias said, Lord, who hath believed our report,
and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? And he said
these things when he seen his glory. And so he was thinking
about that very thing that who can believe the unbelievable? Glory to God and I'm thankful
that the Lord comes back. I'm thankful. I was 12 years
old. We were trying to get this priest
held up. But I was 12 years old when the Lord spoke my name.
It was unbelievable how righteous and holy He was. I was raised
in a Christian home. I had a sheltered life, but hallelujah,
I seen the wickedness of this world. When a man of God called
me priest, it was almost as if I heard, Darryl, how can you
believe the unbelievable? I'll tell you how. Jesus Christ
said, I must go away, but I'm going to send a companion. Glory be to God. He sent that
companion my way. When I was little, I knew how
I ought to try. Let her please my God. But he
weren't my God. He was the God of my parents
and my grandparents. Oh, but I see that they believed
in one. Even though all that he's done
is entirely unbelievable. And by the world and all of its
ways of thinking and what it measures success Oh, I see. When I was a kid, there'd be
people there. Well, they didn't have much money. If they did, I don't guess they
had much skill. I don't know what to do with
them. Oh, but they had gained by exchanging
them. They gained the world. No, they
gained eternal life. Each and every one of us. If
we would just put our faith and trust in Him and wait on the
Lord. I say again, wait on the Lord. Now what does that look like? If you're waiting on the bus,
you can wait and be asleep. But God's coming back for eternity. That's gonna be awake and looking
for him. So I'll ask you, can you wait
and be asleep? Yes, you can. But you'll be waiting
on your destruction. I encourage you to wait on the
Lord. When times get hard, God's children
begin to pray. When troubles come, God's children
look to the Lord and say, Lord, who would believe the report? God said, look at my glory. He'll prove himself over and
over and over again. The Bible says there in the 18th
chapter of Luke, in the first verse, and he spake a parable
unto them to this end, that man ought always to pray and not
to fade. Are you weary? Are you tired? I just put my head on my pillow
and pray until I drifted off to sleep. I tell you ain't it
good that the Lord ever woke you up and you can't get back
to sleep. He puts somebody's name on your
mind and you don't know what to do. But I tell you what, the Lord
would have us pray. I don't know what sometimes our
people are facing and the troubles we're having. Oh, but ain't it
good to intercede on behalf of a brother or sister in Christ. Whoops, glad when troubles come. If they're out of control, you
can pray to God, and God will send the barbagillion to your
brother or your sister, though they be miles away, though they
be behind locked door. The Bible tells me there's spiders
in king's houses, and the Holy Ghost. and there ain't no hidin' from
the power of God. That's why it's a scary thing,
is it not? When we see these, that'll turn
their back on the Lord. Think they can steal our church? I'm tellin' ya, you better pray. You better wait on the Lord,
because if you think The Bible tells me that you can't
let the Holy Ghost won't dwell in an unclean temple. If you're
walking through try times, if you're being tested, pray and
the Lord will deliver you and reveal himself to you. And how
do I know that? Because I believe the report
of my forefathers. You ain't the first one to be
in trouble. You ain't the first one to walk
this straight and narrow road. Oh, the lettuce truss in the
God above, that is delivered. My father delivered my grandfather,
our forefathers. Aren't you glad? Hard times are coming, but this
is where the Lord likes Pray and then pray some more. I believe that the door of mercy
is swiftly closing for the Gentile race. But hallelujah, just like
there's a remnant of our time for the Jew. Till the Lord comes
back, aren't you glad? He's made a way. The Bible says,
it says here, and shall not God avenge his own elect? Oh, it's
cry day and night unto them, though he bear long with them.
I tell you, he will avenge them speedily, nevertheless. When the Son of Man cometh, shall
he find faith on the earth? I ask you, sound my sweet Jesus,
find faith on the earth in this generation. Will you answer the
call? Will you press on, press forward
and trust in the Lord and believe? in the unbelievable, I believe
the one that holds the keys of death, hell, and the grave, that
made a way, that narrow head sleigh, that can walk on the
highway of holiness. Though I fear not God, nor regard
man, yet because this will troubleth me, I will avenge her less. at least by her continual coming. She worries me. Do you see the
picture there? A poor little widow woman. I
reckon maybe, I don't know where her son was or her daughter. She might have been a widow indeed
that never had a child all alone. Or maybe she'd be like some of
these godly women that trained up a child. Oh, they stood that way. Oh, God, don't take your free
will from you. Just because. Oh, I'd force everybody. I'd get them in a headlock. I'd take advantage of those sons. All I have to do is train them
up. Yeah, and the Bible says train
them up. Don't beat them up. The Bible says train them up. There ain't no better teacher. Who will believe our report? I tell you what, I believed it. Because there was some men, some
godly men, men I wanted to be like, that believed it. And I knew. and the demonstration of the
gospel. That's why there's so many counterfeits
out there. Say all you gotta do is believe,
and they don't live by it. Because that right there, that
kind of belief, that kind of faith, if you wanna call it that,
You can have your whole life and they won't affect you yet
your young as it won't affect your neighbor Won't affect your
co-workers. Oh, but I'm telling you something
when you are March as it were to a different drummer if you
read out of a different rule book. Oh, and then when people
come and say, won't you come and go with me? I say, no, I
can't. I don't know where they're headed.
I'd love to go with you, but I ain't willing to pay the cost.
I'd love to be your friend, but I'm telling you something. I
have a friend that's sticking closer to me than a brother. Didn't have a brother. Had two
sisters. Always wanted to have a brother.
But my parents, they begrudge me that, sure enough. I ain't got over it yet. I went
old red-headed sister of mine. I come home from the hospital.
I'm a red-headed sister. But it ain't no brother. I don't
want a brother. Oh, but I tell you what. It kind of grew on me like a
rash or a sore throat. I knew what I needed, didn't
I, honey? I knew that I needed to be on
one side of your mama and you be on the other. Well, it's gonna be a sad time,
a jubilee sad, a dark day when granddaddy dies. Well, well,
more. But I'll tell you what, daddy,
I wouldn't wish you back. When you pass, I'll just be wishing
a little harder that I could be with you. Oh, mama, there
might come a time that I'll brush your hair and you might You offer me anything out there
in the world, it ain't worth it. I ain't gonna trade it no
how. because I believe what most people
figure to be unbelievable. Oh, but I know better because
I've seen his work. Listen, you might be all alone
like that old widow woman, but hallelujah, the Lord was looking
for, looking after, if we'll be persistent, right? The Bible more or less was alluding
to the fact Because she was persistent, she got what she needed. And
then how much more of God being a good judge, and a righteous
judge, and a wonderful savior, and a lovely master, shall he
not give us what we need? Although we live in a fallen
and a broken world, sometimes, certain generations of the Lord
is going to have his children in a community where it's no
longer a benefit. There was people a year ago that
would join the church because it status within the community,
but I see it coming where all the pretenders are going to quit
pretending. There's going to be a purification,
glory to God, of the church when the persecution comes down, and
the farewell of the Christian. we'll walk out the door. I don't
want you to. I want you to be born again.
I want you to see what the Lord has prepared, that you might
believe the report, that your eyes might be blinded and your
ears deaf to the callings of the sweet Holy Ghost. So what are you going to do?
Are you going to trust in the Lord? Or are you going to wait?
The question remains, will there be any faithful? What does it say here? It says,
when the son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? Can you answer that with an affirmative?
Can you answer that with yes, sir? I'm going to tell you, he
comes in my generation. I'm going to do everything within
my will. and in my power, and here's the beauty of it. It ain't
my will, it ain't my power. It's gonna hold me, but it's
gonna be the grace and the mercy of Jesus Christ. But I'll declare
to you, he comes of my generation, there will be those that are
faithful. I gotta go all by myself. I've thought to myself many times
that my daddy's my best friend. Sometimes we walk across the
yard just to be able to hear my daddy's voice. And there'll
come a time, I'll wear up the Lord Terry's. Won't it be wonderful,
daddy? Me and you's on the top of this
here ground. Oh, when he comes. you to the gates of glory. It'll be all right. Used to worry me sometimes. I
thought about what about my wife and all my kids. But I've already
been shown over and over again that the Lord's a better father,
a better a better pawpaw or mamaw than
we all ever could be put together. He will watch after those that
are his. He will watch after those that
put their faith and trust in him. So what do we need to be
doing? Putting our faith and trust in
him. And we can answer that question with the affirmative. By the
grace of God, I'll be found faithful. We worry and we fret because
this life is but a vapor. We were just thinking about that
yesterday. And I thought, there my boy,
and my nephew. And Ron went down there in the
cane field. One year, Jason, and Jubal, you're
in the cane. And it just seemed like a little
bit later, you'll be needing a cane. This life is but a paper. The only thing that'll stand
the test of time is what we do for King Jesus. And it'll be
worth it all. It'll be worth it all. It'll
be worth it all. Let's get some song to sing.
The Lord changed their message there, right there at the end. But we thought, well, we better
be. Since Daryl ain't very good at preaching all by himself,
we thought we might as well listen to the Lord. I'm glad we did,
because guess what? 100, what, 200% of the time,
I've never listened to God. I mean it gloriously. Why? Because the Lord is good and
he knows what's best. Amen. Amen. Do you trust in him? Have you believed the report? Well, they're always blessed
with a godly mother and a godly father. But here's the wonderful
thing about it. You don't have to be raised in
a Christian home. You just have to come to the altar and be adopted
into the family of God. It's not good for man to be alone.
That's why He created family. Amen? We might not know who our
earthly daddy is. Oh, but if I could introduce
you to my heavenly father, I'll tell you, he's good. My daddy is wonderful as he was. He's just a man and he made mistakes. Oh, but I have a heavenly father
and he's never He's never made a mistake. He's never let me
down. He won't let you down. We was
supposed to be singing, weren't we? Go ahead, honey. Oh, God, her heart's heavy. I'm not fit to draw another Holy
Ghost like this for some time. Don't wait. Don't wait. He's passing by, maybe. But he'll
never pass by again. Don't spurn that sweet Holy Ghost. Oh, it's so sweet. that you'd understand that God
is good. And yes, it is unbelievable,
because we ain't dealing with man. We're dealing with the creator
of the universe who knows your name before your mama even knew
it. And I knew that on this day,
this day, that he would pass by your way. Don't spurn the
leadership of the Lord. Dear Heavenly Father, we thank
you Lord. I know God that you are a wonderful son.
Who Can Believe the Unbelievable?
Jesus Christ said He must go away but He would send a Comforter. Has that Comforter come your way? If we put our faith and trust in Him and wait on the Lord, and His salvation. When troubles come God's children look to the Lord. Are you weary? Are you tired? The Lord would have us pray.
