My God Does What He Wants

Blessings friends…can I bless and encourage you?

A while back I taught from Jeremiah 46 about the One who changes minds and hearts. We looked at Isaiah 10 and various other truths during the study. We also talked about Nebuchadnezzar… a King involved in Daniel's life.

Last week in revival we studied the life of King Jehoshaphat. When he went out to battle three nations that came to destroy him God set ambushes among the nations. This means they shifted in the assault against each other. The word means to "lie and wait" to take advantage of someone else. Who changed their mind, spirit, will, and heart to do this? God did. Did He ask their permission or authority to do so? I don't think so. (2 Chronicles 20:22)

We're walking through Daniel currently and it's such a glorious and gracious word. One of the clearest truths we find in Daniel is God. And the God we see unveiled in this book is the ultimate sovereign over yesterday, today, tomorrow, and forever. Daniel shared the prophetic future that reaches beyond our days with great clarity and gripping conviction. There's so much to glean from Daniel's revelations, interpretations, and dreams but if you miss the reality of the presence and purpose of God being manifested and ministered in real time, you'll miss the objective of the entire book. God uses everything and everyone as He chooses. Everyone and everything will give an account to him — even those who have zero clue, who are actually fulfilling His purpose around them, or by them, and with those who recognize His work in them and through them.
