We've had 164 or 168? Now I'm curious. A million visitors. I forgot which. I'll open my file up and see. But we've had a lot of traffic over the years. excuse me wow sorry about that what i'm going to do is we're going to have a kind of a feature where 168.5 million visitors we've had so we're going to be opening it up one particular day the 25th uh on the radio show i'll be doing that because that will be Oh, October, it's the Saturday. So what we're doing is on the 24th we'll open it up, you know, it was just a Friday, have people call in to the show and things like that. And then on the 25th we're going to have an online kind of a meeting. And we'll just have people come in and we'll talk and stuff like that. It'll be fun. And we stay on the air by your support. Just letting you know. I'm going to tell you, we've got so much new stuff coming with the new website. Now, you won't notice much. It's not going to look like a big deal, but we're going to be releasing some information on what it can do. There's a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff that is going to be fantastic. Just letting you know that it's going to be a unique sight behind the scenes. And we're going to go through some stuff. It's going to be something. I keep giving generalities. So anyway, there you go. If you want to give me a call, you can. 877-207-2276. Let's get to Dave from North Carolina. Dave, welcome. You're on the air. Hey, Matt. Hope you had a good sabbatical. You were off for a few days, I noticed. Yeah, I had to go to my 50 year high school reunion. It was great. Yeah, anyway, I had a question about Islam. It seems to be a huge growing concern in America, especially in Michigan and Pennsylvania now and Texas. But I was wondering what you suggest about how how Christians should, uh, it seems like being nice, being nice and loving them isn't working. They're, they're, they're, uh, outbreeding by 20%. I mean, not that we should be nice, but, uh, uh, I just, I actually went and spoke at a place and probably didn't make any friends, but it seemed like the church was really scared of them. They invited them to the church and I went there to speak. And, uh, I just told them everything you said just about as a lie, it's plagiarized from the Bible. You know, it's about 650 years after Jesus, so how do you have anything to do with the Bible? I have no idea. Anyway, so I got some weird looks, but I'm just like saying, wondering what we can do to fight back the way Jesus would fight back, you know? I'm running out of equipment right now, so I'm going to hang up and just I appreciate it, buddy. Sure, no problem at all. What needs to happen is the Christian pastors need to start equipping Christians for the work of ministry. That's a new concept. They need to train the Christians in all kinds of stuff. Islam is one of them. They need to do that. They need to train Muslims. And for the most part, they're not. because they don't know what to do. So there are a lot of websites out there that deal with Islam. A lot of ministries out there that deal with it. I can teach on it as well. We even sell a course on Islam and how to go through a workbook, videos and things like that. We've got to revamp it with the new site and everything. There's a lot of ministries out there. A lot of people don't understand that the Islamic religion is a dangerous religion. It flat out is. When they become dominant in a society, they kill. They kill people. So what do we do as Christians? Well, we don't hide. We don't just go to our Sunday morning churches and then hope it goes away, the problem goes away. No, no, no. We're called to be evangelists. We're called to be ready to answer and it doesn't take very long for Christians to develop answers. I've written 150 or so articles on the QARM website on Islam and I can teach people how to witness to them and what to do. Others can too. Christians need to be ready for the coming onslaught of Islam. Just think of Islam as a cancer. It invades a body and it destroys what it comes in contact with. Just think of Islam that way, because every country it's gotten into and starts becoming, of any significant percentage, there's usually violence that follows. And then they make demands. They want halal food. They want you to bow to their culture and their needs when they come into your country. I think it's Sweden. I think it's Sweden or Switzerland. Sweden, I think it is, before the immigration of the Muslims came in, it was a pretty peaceful country. Now there's, how do I say these words on the air without offending the children and guarding them? But if you get my drift just from what that is, that they do this. My wife showed me a video of a Muslim who attacked a girl, just attacked a woman. She's walking along, he attacked her, pulled her by her hair and the whole bit, drug her like 10 feet and she's fighting back. And what bothered me is the guy didn't do anything, not right away. Then they started coming in to help her and then he left. This kind of thing happens a lot where they get in groups and they attack women in different countries of Europe. If it started happening here in America though, a lot of men would take care of it very quickly. But it's a bad religion. It's a religion of death. It's a religion of dominance. Their goal is to take over the world. When you look at Islamic countries, generally speaking, they're run down. They're archaic. I remember when I was in Israel, we went across to the Muslim-run area. We had to drive through a big wall, and literally on the Israeli side of the wall, greenery, trees, clean. You go on the other side of the wall, just the other side, dirt, trash. When they get into economies, they tend to destroy them. They tend to do that. Islam is not compatible with a constitutional republic. It's not compatible with a democracy. What it wants, what it promotes is Sharia, which means women can be beaten, which means you have your right hand cut off if you steal something. They force people into submission, paying heavy taxes. I talked once to a Coptic Christian. and who was over in one of the Muslim countries. He had to flee. And the reason was because the Muslims, on two separate occasions, I think he said two, they just broke into his house with his family there. They were Christians, paying the jizya, which is the tax that you pay to the Muslim government if you're a Christian and if you're not a Muslim. It's a form of submission. So they want you to submit to Islam. And so they're doing what they had to do just to survive. And it was very difficult. They're not allowed to hold any jobs of influence or make much money and things like this. They're just trying to survive. And Muslims broke into the house. A lot of families there on two separate occasions and said, everything that you have belongs to Allah and started stealing stuff right in front of them. Just walking out the door with it. This is the mentality of a lot of Muslims all over the world. And then there's a phrase, what your right hand possesses. And the phrase can refer to property and people. And you can do what you want with them, what your right hand possesses. So when they go into a country and they start dominating, then they're saying, my right hand possesses this and that. It's a cancerous religion. And it's just, it's bad. It's a bad religion. It's a bad religion. Okay. Let's get to Adrian from North Carolina. Adrian, welcome. You're on the air. Thank you for taking my call, sir. Um, I have a good friend, my husband and I have a good friend, highly educated, a professor at one of the colleges here. And, um, I talked to him yesterday after I talked to him for a while and he is transitioning from a male to a female and sent me a picture. Oh my gosh. Yeah. And I, myself, I've stumbled all over myself saying, Oh, you look so happy. I'm happy that you're happy. And while I'm saying those words, I'm thinking, Adrian, what are you saying? This is wrong. I did not have the strength, I guess, uh, to, I say that and I'm just wondering what in the same hell happened to me? I faltered, I fell in the flesh, I fell bad. Well, you're just describing it. You failed. And what you do is you repent, you talk to the Lord about it, and you move forward. Don't beat yourself up about it too much. I think it's appropriate for us Christians, when we do something bad, to beat ourselves up for a little bit. Make ourselves feel good. You know, it's kind of good for us. But you have to go to the cross and you have to just know that the Lord Jesus is very forgiving and very kind. So you cannot support this transitioning stuff as a Christian. It doesn't mean you hate them. It doesn't mean you're rude to them. Okay, so we had, one of my daughters invited a girl going to a guy transition over for Christmas one day. We said, yeah sure, come on over. And no problem, we didn't approve, but we loved that person. And the person actually stopped transitioning later on. We don't know why, but anyway, the thing is, you don't have to hate them, just don't approve of what they're doing and don't support it, that's all. But you let them know that you love them, but did not approve of this, but you love them. Yes. And, you know, you say, look, you know, instead of saying, I'm glad you're happy, I wouldn't say that. I would, you know, me, I'd say, well, thank you for letting me know. That's it. I'm not committing, and that's ain't good or bad. And you have to be careful of the thought police, because in England, if you say something bad about Islam, they can arrest you. You can go to jail. But if Muslims say something bad about Christians, that's OK. But anyway, so the thought police are watching. So be careful what you say and putting it in writing. And so be generic, but don't support them. Now, I'm in trouble because I say all this stuff on the radio. They can find old shows, and I've got plenty that could be jailed for. Thank God you do. I'll go to jail for you. Hey, hold on. We've got a break. Okay, folks, we'll be right back after these messages. If you want to give me a call, the number is 877-207-2276. We'll be right back. It's Matt Slick live, taking your calls at 877-207-2276. Here's Matt Slick. Welcome back to the show. If you want to give me a call, the number is 877-207-2276. Adrian, are you still there? Yes, sir. And I want to thank you very much. Well, I'm praying for him. Yeah, you know, we've all blown it and we're going to continue to. Just take it to Jesus and just say, you know, Lord, I was weak in the flesh and please help me. And that's it. Just move forward. And that's okay. You know, and just learn from it and think of ways to say things that are nice and hopefully won't come back and haunt you later because of the Gestapo thought police that's on the rise. Oh, gosh. Yeah. Thank you again, sir. And God bless you and your family. Take care. And thank you. Hey, you're welcome. No problem. Well, God bless. Okay. You too, dear. God bless. Bye. All right. All right. Now let's get to Jermaine from California. Jermaine, welcome. You're on the air. Hey Matt. Um, yeah, so I wanted to ask about the, uh, Charlie Kirk situation. It seems like this, It's kind of just hanging around us in our culture. But one thing I've heard try to use as a judge of character, I don't think it's fair, but is the organization Turning Point USA, I guess they're named. So I guess they had a lot of, I guess you would say people affiliated with it that were not believers. Would that be a form of ecumenical error? No, not necessarily. You see, um, you have an H.O.A. in your housing area and there might be unbelievers on there and atheists on the committee or whatever it doesn't mean you're uniquely yoked anymore than you could have wacko morons like Nancy Pelosi and AOC uh... you know in the government and Schumer and other uh... you know wackos it doesn't mean that uh... that we can't work with them. So when it says unequally yoked in a spiritual context, we need to be very, very careful. We want to carry that over, of course, as much as we can into other areas of life as well. I would prefer that all the people who hold offices in our government were born-again Christians, because then they're not going to be taking bribes and somehow somehow making all the right choices in stock trades so that on a small salary you can be a multi-multi-millionaire very quickly like Pelosi did. So, anyway, I'm kind of rambling. Okay? Okay, well, a follow-up to that is... You're breaking up. You're breaking up there, buddy. Yeah, I was going to say, I personally still believe that Mr. Kirk was a believer. And I see a lot of videos out online, and they seem to be heavily edited, chopped up, and people are using those as fuel. But I see where, you know, some concern would be as far as the associations, because it seemed like, I think his wife was Catholic, and he had some other people around him that We're not, but I don't think that's the fairest indictment on him as a believer. So do you think he may be making an error, you know, in his personal life somewhere to allow so many non-believers in his circle? I don't know. If you had non-believers in a circle, it depends on what the context is. You know, if I had a huge organization that was Christian-based and it was designed to be Christian-based and can't have unbelievers, but if you're having a secular-based system, then, you know, non-believers can be in it. You've just got to be careful. That's what I would say. You know? OK. Yeah, I think that's completely fair. I don't want to sound like I'm indicting him at all, but I still do believe he was a believer. But that doesn't mean everyone around you is a believer, and I don't think it's necessarily fair to judge someone just by who's around them, depending on the context. And he's a strategist too, so he knew what he was doing and he's trying to get a lot of people in and working with a lot of people. Male, female, black, white, you know, believers, unbelievers, all kinds. That's how it should be when you have an organization that is governmentally based and you're trying to do political movement and stuff like that all over the United States. I don't have any problem with that. So he can have people in his past that he's associated with who are unbelievers. It doesn't mean he's an unbeliever. It doesn't mean he should be criticized for it. There are a lot of people in Christian circles who don't know biblical theology very well and they make these judgments. It's the job of the pastor to start addressing these issues and teach them. So, you know, it's a big topic, but I don't have any problem with Charlie Kirk doing what he did. All right, right. Well, good. Well, we're sharing together. It's good solidarity. All right, brother. Well, God bless. All right. All right. God bless you. OK. Well, that was Jermaine from California. We have three open lines. If you want to give me a call, 877-207-2276. Let's get to Ebenezer from California. Ebenezer, welcome. You're on the air. Hey, Matt. Um, yeah, I just had a quick question. Um, yeah, so I was talking to, um, uh, Eastern Orthodox guy and, um, he pretty much, um, uh, so we was talking about penal substitutionary atonement and, um, and, uh, so like, I would say like, I w I said, yeah, you guys don't believe in, uh, penal substitutionary atonement. And then he was like, he was like, no, we do, we do believe in penal substitutionary atonement. So then I said, so do you guys believe that Jesus Christ was a legal death, uh, became a legal death, um, and you know, for your sin? And then he was like, no. And then like, like, I was like, man, you're lying to me, you know? So then like, um, and then I said, so do you believe what the scriptures say in, um, Isaiah 53 and 2 Corinthians 5, 21 I believe. And then he called me in the story. So I'm like, I was trying to figure out, like, how do I answer him? I'm not really much of I'm not really much of a debater. So it's all right. It's all right. You know, Pete, this what what was it that led him to being this, you know, Yeah, because he said, by saying that the Father crushed the Son, you separate the natures of Jesus Christ. He doesn't understand. No, he doesn't understand. Look, one of the things you've got to do is deal with what is a person, and personhood is the issue. Jesus is a person, the Father is a person. The nature of Christ in his personhood is that he has two natures, divine and human. So the attributes of both natures are ascribed to the single person. I can't hear you. I'm sorry. I can't hear you Okay, you hear me now Hear me a little bit. Okay, maybe you can call back If you're a driver or something, it may be a bad connection Are you there? Hello Ebeneezer call back. Okay, buddy. Hello. Yeah, I No, no, I can hear you, I can hear you, I can hear you. Now you can hear me, all right. Yeah, I can hear you. Okay, so the problem would be... I'll do that tomorrow. Yeah, we got a break, so hold on, brother. We'll be right back after the break. We'll get into this issue again. Hey, folks, if you want to give me a call, the number is 877-207-2276. Be right back. It's Matt Slick live, taking your calls at 877-207-2276. Here's Matt Slick. All right, everyone, welcome back to the show. If you want to give me a call, the number is 877-207-2276. Let's get back on with Ebenezer. Are you still there? Yeah, I can hear you. I'm here. OK, so the East Northodox, I've done a great deal of studying with them and on them. You're breathing into the mic, just so you know, buddy. So I've studied them a lot. My notes are very extensive on East Northodox. They teach what's called the recapitulation theory of the atonement. And now they hold to a little sample of PSA, but not very much. They understand that Jesus bore our sins, and they'll admit that. But they don't believe that it's a legal payment and a canceling of the sin debt. And the reason they don't is because they earn their salvation through works combined with faith, in what's called theosis, a process of becoming like Christ over the period of many, many, many years in your life. And you hopefully get to that place where you become saved. Well, if PSA was true, then justification occurs by faith alone. And so they deny that. So they have a false gospel. So they'll teach that Jesus recapitulates the entire events of human life from birth, death, et cetera, and all the things in it. And that Adam disobeyed, but Jesus obeyed. So he reversed Adam's failure. It reminds me of the Jehovah's Witness doctrine, where they teach that Adam failed, but Jesus, the perfect man, succeeded and reopened the door that would give you the possibility of earning salvation. So it's the same kind of a thing that the Eastern Orthodox teach. And that Christ is a new head of humanity. So by the hypostatic union of divinity and humanity, he becomes the new representative of the human race. And salvation is via union with Christ. But that union is through works. And I've got quotes. I've got quotes. So that's really what it is. And it's bad news. It's a false gospel that they have. So when he accused you of Nestorianism, he didn't understand the issues. And you need to study Nestorianism, Eutychianism, Minophysitism, the hypostatic union, so that you can identify what these things are quickly. OK? Okay. Um, most definitely, most definitely. Um, so, I mean, so pretty much Muslims really. Right. I'm sorry. What? You broke up a little bit. What? Pretty much like Muslims. Right. Well, no. They believe in the Trinity and the deity of Christ, the crucifixion and resurrection, but they're like Muslims in that faith and works are combined to get you saved. And that's the same thing with Roman Catholicism, Mormonism, all the false religions teach this kind of a thing because they don't understand the true nature and work of who and what Christ has done. You call it a recapitulation theory? That's what they call it. That's what they hold to, the recapitulation theory. That Jesus relives all of human experience, yet he did it without sin. He experienced infancy, childhood, adulthood, suffering, and death. In so doing, he didn't just die for our sins, but he also demonstrated what it means to be truly human and be made in God's image. And by following his example, you can be saved. OK? All right. You're breaking up again. You're breaking up again. Can you hear me? Yes. Yeah. What's the differences? So this recapitulation theory, what's the difference between that and, uh, what, what the gospel teaches with regards to Jesus life. When we understand that justifications by faith, Romans 5, 1, Romans 3, 28, Romans 4, 5, Galatians 2, 16, Philippians 3, 9. Now you've got a lot of wind going on in the background or something, breathing into your mic. So you've got to, that's, it's just like, you know, all right. So now I forgot the question. Okay. I got distracted by the background sound. What was the question again? Uh, I was saying, hello? Yes. Try it again. Yeah. Okay. Hello. Can you hear me now? I hear you. Yes. Okay. Yeah. So, uh, and what's the difference between their recapitulation theory and what the gospel says about Jesus is, you know, yeah. Now remember, so justification is a legal declaration of righteousness and it's obtained by faith alone in Christ alone. What they will say is that justifications accumulated over a period of time through what's called theosis, where the follower, the East Orthodox person, participates in the moral and spiritual life of Christ and is transformed through receiving what Jesus did in his perfect life by living in his life accords with Jesus. then by the means of grace that God enables them to do that with a culmination of all that being salvation. So think of it as Jesus, Adam closed the door to salvation, Jesus reopened it, and you have to step through and do a bunch of good stuff in order to be saved. Oh, just to attain salvation. So Jesus recapitulated life, all the stages of human life, yet without sin. He then made it possible for the Eastern Orthodox person to participate in the energies of God, which are the graces of God that emanate from his essence. that work in you and through you, that enable you to do those good things, participate in the sacraments, participate in the truth of that particular church, submit to what it is, and that through the life of obedience and sanctification, this is how you gradually move towards and achieve salvation. It's a false gospel. It's a false gospel. It's one of the reasons the Eastern Orthodox Church is just simply not a Christian church. Yeah, also I was told, like, why would he call me an historian with regards to, you know, because wasn't it Jesus' human nature that died on the cross? Only the human nature experienced death. Now this is what you've got to understand. This is why theology is important. That's what I told him. That's what I told him. I said, let me explain. Let me explain. So you have to understand the hypostatic union and the communicatio idiomatum. Understand the hypostatic union. That's a Latin phrase. And but now it's English sized and also the communicatio idiomatum or the communication of the property. So this is why your understanding is important. They fail to understand stuff. And when you say, and rightfully so, that only the human nature experienced that death in that sense, he's going to call you Nestorian because in Nestorianism, in the one body of Christ are two persons, a divine person and a human person. That's Nestorian. That's why he jumped on that to say, you're saying only the human nature experienced it. And I say that too, but I always qualify it. I say, you gotta understand what I'm saying first. I said, don't jump. I said, only the human nature experienced that death because divine nature can't die. So what we have in the hypothetic union of Jesus being one person with two natures, they're separate and distinct natures, yet each nature has attributes or properties. The one person of Christ claimed the attributes of both of those natures. So Jesus, the person, said, I am thirsty. That's human nature. He said, I'll be with you always even to the end of the earth. That's divine. So he is the one person. So what we say is the one person died on the cross. And so therefore, we're not Nestorian, we're holding the hypothetic union. And when I explain this to people, they go, okay, we see what you're saying. And I say that the divine nature can't die. We know that, but the human nature can. So how is it then that the person of Christ experiences? And that's by the answer of the communicatio idiomatum. And here's another question I'll ask people, Christians too. If only the human nature is that nature that experienced death in the direct sense related to the nature, then how is the sacrifice of Christ of divine value? And the answer is simple. Because of the communication of the properties. Because it's the person who died on the cross. And the person has the attributes of both natures. And that negates any idea of Nestorianism. Okay? And it's just because Jesus is one person. And what you could ask them, what I like to do with the EO is go to Colossians 2.14, and it says that Jesus, having canceled the certificate of debt consisting of decrees, which was hostile to us, he took it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. I say, what is the certificate of debt? The Greek word is kairographon. handwritten IOU of legal indebtedness. What was canceled? And they'll say, the sin debt. I say, I agree. Did he cancel it for everybody? And they'll say, well, yeah. Well, then how can anybody go to hell if the sin debt's canceled? Because you've got to apply it to yourself. And then they get into it. I say, that's Protestant Arminianism. That's his protestant Arminianism. That you activate the power of Christ's sacrifice by your wise decision to apply it to yourself by believing. And that's heresy. It is. Because it's canceled at the cross, not when you believe. And I throw this at people all the time, and they're dumbfounded. Because they haven't read this and they don't know. That's what the Bible teaches. They say you're justified when you believe. But Jesus cancelled the sin debt at the cross. Logic requires it. He only cancelled it for the people that were given to him by the Father. This requires PSA and it refutes recapitulation. You wanna hold or not? I'll tell you what, we got a break. If you wanna hold, hold. If not, just hang on. No, no, I'm good, I'm good. Okay, buddy. Thanks. God bless. So folks, what I did was just to go through some more details about atonement theories and how they interact and work. I debate them frequently. And if you wanna give me a call, 877-207-2276. Be right back. It's Matt Slick live, taking your calls at 877-207-2276. Here's Matt Slick. Okay, everyone, welcome back to the show. If you want to give me a call, the number's wide open, 877-207-2276. And we have nobody waiting right now. So these issues are important. And what's really interesting about the Eastern Orthodox Church is that it is growing. It is really growing. And I was curious about why, and I watched a video where someone quoted some research and tuned it, the information, into the issue of the Eastern Orthodox and why people are joining it. And it's one of the main reasons is because they want stability. In this world of technological change of government where the left and right is becoming more polarized, where morality is up for grabs. People are wanting more stability. One of the ways they see stability is in a rigid church service that claims to be connected to the ancient church. The smells and bells are seductive. And so a lot of times people will join in with that. Plus the faulty logic of the false gospel that is presented by Eastern Orthodox people. They're polished in how they want to say things. Trust me, I know. I've had many in impromptu discussions with Eastern Orthodox people. And I find them to be arrogant, prideful, because they belong to the true church. Outside of their true church is no salvation. Their church gave us the Bible. We don't have the energies and graces of God. They have the truth that relates to the early church fathers. Their church is where true salvation can be found. And this is their attitude. And it's really difficult to break through that when you ask them, show your position in scripture. they don't really care. They will often rip things out of context, which I've seen many times by Catholics and Eastern Orthodox. They just apply a verse that doesn't really say what they wanted to say, and then they move on. And most people who are just not theologically astute will fall prey to the false gospel of Eastern Orthodoxy. And this is one of the things. And yeah, it's a false gospel. The Roman Catholic Church teaches a false gospel. Both of them are not true Christian churches, just as Mormonism is not a true Christian church. It's not a restoration of anything. They don't believe in the Jesus of the Bible, nor do the Jehovah's Witnesses. There's a lot of false religions out there, and the way to know the truth is to open God's Word and read it and believe it. But too many Christians, they listen to the siren call of false prophets and false Christs, and they follow them. And Jesus warned, in the last days, many false Christs and false prophets will arise and deceive many. And that's what's happening. Let's get to Elijah from Pennsylvania. Elijah, welcome. You're on the air. Hey, Matt. I think, like, sometime last week, I watched a debate between William Albrecht and some Protestant guy, and William Albrecht kept arguing that, both in the Old and in the New Testament, the word faith can be translated as faithfulness, and And the Protestant guy, in his answering period, conceded that he agrees that in the Old Testament, the word faith can be translated as faithfulness, but he doesn't agree that it can be translated that way in the New Testament. And then William Albrecht was like, you just conceded the debate by admitting that the word faith can be translated as faithfulness, and this is William Alberg's way of trying to say that we're saved by faith and works and not faith alone. So, what are your thoughts on that? Yeah, I've debated him, and he's not very good. He doesn't know what he's doing, doesn't know basic logic. So, the word, a word can have what's called a semantic domain, and this is very critical for you to understand and Christians understand. A semantic domain is a range of meanings that a particular word can have in different contexts. So the word green, I always use the word green as an example. Green can mean envy, sickness, being new and naive, money, color. It can mean several things. It has lots of different meanings. So that's called a semantic domain. Now what sometimes the false religious teachers like Albright and others will do, in Catholics and Eastern Orthodox, what they'll do is they'll say a word has a meaning and they take the meaning of a different context and import it over to another context. The example of this is in 1 Corinthians 15, the word heus is in Greek until. And it's also used in Matthew 1.25 where Joseph kept Mary a virgin until Jesus' birth. Well, in the normal context, we understand what that word until means in the context of marriage and fidelity and stuff. But over in 1 Corinthians 15, he will hold, he'll put all things in subjection until, or he will reign until all things are in subjection. And they say the word entail means continued action. So what they do, they transfer the meaning over there to Matthew 1.25. This is the kind of thing he does, Albright does, and other people in false religious systems do in order to make their theology fit the scriptures. It's called illegitimate totality transfer. It's an exegetical error. So I would recommend that you study those kind of things. And you can go to Karm and you can look up exegetical errors and things like that. I don't know if that helps enough, but are you there? Yeah. That makes a lot of sense. I might go on your website and look that up. I have read many of your articles before and it has helped out a lot. I do like them. Well, good. That's what they're for. I'm trying to find my notes on him. I debated him. and I'm just going through stuff. I don't know if I can find it or not. But I've had a lot of people say that he destroyed me in a debate. And I say, oh, OK. All right. That's what you think. But he wasn't very good, didn't know his stuff, is not a good thinker. So that's what it is. Yeah. I got, I got a question that's a little off topic, but, um, it's, it's, it's kind of related, uh, what I had talked to you yesterday about, about, um, the end times. All right. Yeah. So, so have you, have you heard of the, uh, asteroid Apophis? Oh yeah. Apophis. Yes. Uh-huh. Yeah, so I saw a video by a Christian, and they pointed out that they named this thing Asteroid Apophis, meaning the God of Chaos, and they also assigned a number to it. The number is 99942, and the person in the video pointed out that that's interesting because The three nines are basically upside-down sixes, so you get 666. And then the 42 at the end of the number, they said that's interesting because Revelation says that Antichrist is going to exercise his power for 42 months. So it's interesting that they assigned those numbers to the asteroid. And one more thing that they pointed out in the video is that they said if the asteroid misses us, in twenty twenty-nine it's going to circle back around and come back in twenty thirty-six and uh... they don't know if you're going to hit or not then but what's interesting about that is that that's a seven-year time gap between those two uh... arrivals and um... you know most interpretations see the reign of the anti-christ being for seven years and uh... and uh... what what are the choices that happen that time or not It doesn't really matter, but it's just interesting observation with all of that. So what are your thoughts about all of that stuff? Well, you can do all kinds of things with numbers. And so maybe there's a cabal in astrophysics that is serving the evil one, and they wanted to do a code and made it 999. It's possible, but I don't really put much credence in something like that. So, I do know about Apophis, and I do know that it's not supposed to hit Earth this time around. But it's a question on whether the second time around, if it will. They don't know yet. And that's just because they don't know if it goes through the keyhole of the gravity well and things like this. So, I would just say I wouldn't worry about it right now. We'll just see. Maybe there's something eschatological with it. It's certainly possible that it's going to be timed to where God's eschatology is working. And maybe in 10 years it's going to come and hit the earth and cause upheaval such that is necessary for us to unify into one government. And the Antichrist takes over. Who knows? All kinds of things. But we don't know what the truth is. you know i just wanted interesting because it pointed out and um... they say that they did the person in the video said that they really believe that uh... god uh... uh... actually does have this thing like like locked into where it is it is going to play out in in time because i did further research and they said if it doesn't have been twenty thirty six then in then it's going to circle back around in twenty sixty eight benefit doesn't pay that in twenty sixty eight that in my head is in uh... the next century after that And so it just seems like it's just going to keep coming back and back and back. So it does seem like it's locked in, and we're not going to be able to escape it. Yeah, but it also could be that it can be thrown into a different orbital plane and won't hit us or be even a threat for 500 or 1,000 years. So in 2029, it's supposed to come within roughly 20,000 miles of Earth, which I think will be visible from the naked eye. And that the chance of collision is something like, the highest is 2.7%. I wouldn't worry about it. So, right? If it goes back into 30-something, whatever it is, I don't know what the percentage is then. We'll just have updated then. But they're already, you know, I follow a lot of science. They've already got ideas on how to deflect asteroids and do various things. So, there's ways where they put an accelerator on it, or put mirrors on it to absorb photons, I mean, that reflect certain things. They have ion engines, they can nuclear this and that. They have all kinds of theories about how to just do something a little bit to an asteroid, just accelerate it a little bit, or slow it down just a little bit, and it would be negated. So, it's already being discussed on how to deal with things like this. It's not just Apophis, but other things. that are out there too. There's a lot of stuff out there. Okay. Yep, I agree. Well, it was a nice talk with you, Matt. All right, brother. God bless. All right. OK, that's Elijah. Now, Ree from Nevada, we only have like 20 seconds left on the show, or 30 seconds tops. So we don't have time to get to you. Call back tomorrow, and we can get on to your question about apologetics in the Army, which I've never heard that before. That's interesting, the topic. I'd love to talk to you about that. So, folks, hope you enjoyed the show, By His Grace. We're back on the air tomorrow. And if you're inclined, please consider supporting us. Just go to karm.org forward slash donate. And what you need is right there. And may the Lord bless you. And by His grace, back on the air tomorrow. We'll talk to you then. God bless. Bye.
