Does the admonition for believers to examine themselves to see if they are in the faith (2 Corinthians 13:5) mean that we can lose our salvation or perhaps never had salvation? No. Rather, it means we should examine ourselves not for purposes of ascertaining the authenticity of our salvation but rather to determine our growth in Christ!
