We're in Revelation 14. The book of Revelation now, remember,
as you look at your chart, the charts that you have, first
of all, we need to review a couple of things. We live in the church age. If
you'll turn to this side of your chart where the cross is. This
is the church age period. You can see that it says church
age right there. And it says grace. And you can
see the cross. That means Christ will die. Okay? Well, we're right somewhere toward
the end of the church age. How do we know that we're at
the end of the church age? Who remembers how we know that's
where we are? What tells you, what indicator tells you that
we're at the end of the Turchage? We're at the end of the time
of Maryland? That's right. The Jewish people
have gone back to the homeland. If you look down here in the
green area, at the beginning of the Turchage, we have the
dispersion of Israel, and then the Lord told us, when we see
certain things coming to be, He said, Lift up your eyes for your redemption
draws near or nigh. Alright? So, the regathering
of Israel is Ezekiel 36, 20-24. And if you'll take this chart
and look at these verses in here, and as you go, and you'll find
out the different scriptures in the Bible. The book of Revelation
does not stand alone. Every other book in the Bible
agrees. One book does not disagree with
the other one. Every book in the Bible teaches us basically
the same thing. It talks about the end of time
and many, many books. And then your other chart here,
the Tribulation chart that you have. Now, in the 14th chapter
of Revelation, Every chapter, it does not continue. The Book of Revelation doesn't
say 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and down here at the end, 22,
that's the end of the tribulation period. What it does is it shows
you different aspects of what's going on all during here. In
the first half, what happened there, and in the second half,
what took place here. And it'll jump back and forth.
It'll just declarify, in a better way, Now, we're going to go and
find that out in just a minute. Revelation, the fourteenth chapter.
Now, the end of the thirteenth chapter, verses sixteen through
eighteen, what was that? Did any of you mark in the Bible
what that was? Remember, that was the mark of
the beast. Remember that? The mark of the
beast. And actually, the mark of the
beast, when did the mark of the beast actually take place? According
to this Tribulation Act, when did that mark of the beast actually
take place? All right, right up here at the beginning of the
Tribulation, when the Antichrist took over. All right? And you had to have the mark
of the beast before you could work on any job or buy and sell
or anything. You couldn't buy any food. You
couldn't buy any object without money. It's not good there. Gold and silver isn't any good. And there's going to be two classes
of people. There is going to be the princes
and the paupers. That's all there's going to be.
The princes, the very high ruling class, and there will be the
slaves, basically, of society. And the workman's wages will
be what? What was Merkel? What? Just enough to feed yourself. We know that the mother, the
father, and all the children are going to have to work. It's
going to go back just like it did in the 1800s in America and
for the rest of Europe and how it is in many countries today.
Children have to work. As soon as they can get up and
walk around and everything, they have to start working to help feed
themselves by the heart. No, it takes place in the beginning. That's how he sets up his whole
system. Now it doesn't come, the 13th
chapter of Revelation that we studied, some of that is taking
place in the middle of the week. But the last part of the chapter,
verses 16 through 18, that tells about what happened back over
in the beginning. And how he had total control over society
and all the countries. Now how many of you remember
what countries are going to take, what divisions in the world are
there at this period of time? Remember what kind of divisions?
Politically? Where is the Antichrist? What nations is he going to be
on? The western nations. All the
western nations. With Israel as the head. America
won't be the head at that time. It will probably be part of the
western nations, I'm sure. But Israel will be the head of
those western nations. And then what other nations are
going to be against him? the East, the China, and then
the African, and what we call basically the Islamic world. Alright? So we see those divisions. Alright? And they are there today,
aren't they? Now when the Lord said, as I
began the class, He said, when you see all these things begin
to take place, keep on looking up! or your redemption draws
nigh. I don't want to be in that tribulation
period, people. How do you get in the tribulation
period, by the way? Brother Bill, do you know how
you're going to get in there? Yeah, how do you get in the tribulation
period? How do you get left behind? You're not saved when it takes
place. You're going to get left behind. There was a series left
behind. Now, Revelation, the fourteenth chapter. Now we have, it's showing us
a picture of people that are saved during the tribulation
period, and we see the glory of the Lamb of God. And it's
kind of, there's some judgments in here. And Revelation 14, verse
1. Who has that? Revelation 14,
verse 1. You have it, Randy? All right. And I look, and lo, a Lamb stood
on the Mount Zion. and with him a hundred and forty
and four thousand having his father's name written in their
foreheads." Alright, now hold on just there. Now we just, the
16th through the 18th chapter just, or Revelation 13, 16 through
18 just told us something. It told us that Satan had marked
his people. Alright? That tells us here that
God has marked his people. Alright? Everybody's marked with
either Satan's mark or with God's mark. And, but, there are, now
these that are marked by God here is Maximalism. This is the nation, these are
Jewish people, okay? Because God, the whole purpose
of the tribulation period is to bring Israel back to God.
And we're not talking about save people. Because in that period,
in this thing, there are three groups of people in the world.
There is Israel. Alright? There is the Antichrist
and those that are starving to death and being killed for the
truth. Those are God's people, but those are the ones that aren't
marked either, are they? They have not taken the mark of the
beast and of course they are not marked by God because they
are not in Nationalism. So there are Gentiles that are
being saved during that period of time. How many of you knew
that? Anybody know that? How many of you didn't know that?
Alright, good deal. So I thought we would bring that
one up. I read that in a series, a Matthew 9 series and it says
that if everybody was marked by that they could see God's
mark on them. Only other people could see that
mark. Is that true? That's just the story. I know
that the series was made after the Bible and everything else,
but all of it is guessing, really. We have certain things that we
find from the Word of God, but a lot of that is writing. You
have to realize that's just prolific writing. But a lot of it's based
on things. All right, now God said that
here, Brandy read that and he said that The name of his father
are written on their foreheads, alright? And Mount Zion, where
is Mount Zion? Huh? It's in Israel, alright,
but where is Mount Zion? How many of you know, have you
ever heard of Mount Zion? How many of you have been to Israel?
Well, it's in Jerusalem, alright. One of the first Christian churches
that was ever built was built on Mount Zion. It is one mountaintop
that's in the city of Jerusalem. The Mount of Moriah, and not
very far from Mount Moriah where the Mosque of Omar is, is Zion. Sometimes the word term Zion
is used for Jerusalem. It's used as a synonym for Jerusalem. Go ahead Brother Randy. And I
heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and
as the voice of a great thunder. And I heard the voice of harpers
harping with their harps. And they sung, as it were, a
new song for the throne, and before the four beasts. Okay,
now hold on. The four beasts there should
be four living beings. Those beings are created by God. King James translated beasts,
but they're actually living beings. They're not monstrosities or
monsters or anything. They're creatures, living beings.
Okay, go ahead, Brother Andy. Let me tell you something else
here. There are more than 144,000 Jews
that are saved during this period of time, but God marked a certain
amount of these Jews, and he protected them especially, and
they are from the twelve tribes of Israel. Name how many? 12,000
each from each tribe. And God marked these for a special
purpose in the end times. Verse number four. Brother Norm,
have you got that? These are they which follow the
Lamb wherever He goeth. These were redeemed from among
men, being the firstfruits of God unto the Lamb. Okay. Now, let's go back and look at
verse number four a little bit. This isn't talking about celibacy
as a close way of being to God, even though the Apostle Paul,
when you get married, You have to please your mate, don't you?
And Paul says, I'd rather be not married because I can put
all of my energy to serving God. Because if I have a mate, then
I have to please her also. But right now, I only please
the Lord. But I know that the Catholic Church talks about celibacy
and many cults and isms. celibacy in the months of all
kinds, and that's a closer way to God. But God made mankind
and made womankind to want to be with each other. That's a
normal thing. And being together as husband and wife is not sin,
as some of these religions say. These are the ones who have not
defiled themselves with women, for they are celibates. Now,
there are two great women talked about in the book of Revelation.
Two, I shouldn't say great women, but there are two women that
are talked about in the book of Revelation that are very famous,
all right, because it says that over and over again. One of them
is the harlot, and that's the bride of Satan, which is the
world system. It is the economical system that
the antichrist uses. It's when the church and the
state become one again. All right? Baptists have always
stood for one thing, separation of church and state. They have
stood for that since the Sea of Galilee. Well, in the last
days, the church and state become one again. All right? And it's
a state religion, and the state is also the ruling order of that
time. Now, these people have not been
defiled religiously or spiritually. Now, there's one other woman
in the Bible that Paul talks about in the book of Ephesians
and several other places. What is it? The Church, the Bride
of Christ is also there. Well, this is talking about being
defiled with the great harlot. That's what it's talking about.
They have kept away from her. And in the middle of the tribulation
period, as you look at this chart here, right in the middle of
the tribulation period, that's when the Antichrist stands up
in Jerusalem and declares himself to be the Messiah of Israel and
also demands that they worship him as God. Now, many are going
to do it, but there is a certain elected group of Israel that
will not. When he does that, then they'll
know who he is and they'll flee from him. And that's when God
protects them. Alright? Let's go on a little bit further.
In verse 5, Brother Norm. Okay, what makes a person without
fault before God? The blood of Jesus Christ. And
it keeps saying this over and over again. These people are
believers You know, since Adam, people have only been saved one
way, and that's by repenting of their sins and calling upon
God and trusting Him for your salvation. That's how people
are saved. Okay, go ahead, Brother Norm,
number six. And I saw another angel flying
from the midst of heaven, having everlasting gospel, and preaching
to him that dwelleth in the earth, and every nation, and country,
and tongue, and people. All right. Now, during the tribulation
period again, The church and all the saints have been raptured
at the beginning of the tribulation period. See over here where it
says, the rapture of the saints and the arrows going up? All
right. The Lord comes back and resurrects all the saints. They're
resurrected first, those that are dead. And then, what it actually says in Greek,
it says, one flap of a mass wing. That's what it literally says.
The difference in time between the resurrection of the dead
in Christ and the resurrection of the live is like one flap
of a match swing. How many of you ever had a match
fly in your ear? It goes... I mean, your head is doing that. Well, one flap of a match swing
is what it says. That's the Greek term. That's the difference. One split. One flap of a... twinkling of an eye, but actually
it's the flap of a mass wheel. Well, they're up. They're up
in heaven. So, during the church age that
we live in today, who has the administration of God's kingdom
on earth? Who has the administration of
God's kingdom on earth? God's kingdom. The church that
is the administrator of God's kingdom. All true New Testament
churches, we have the authority to preach the gospel to all mankind. It is our job to do that. There's
a lot of people out doing other things with the name of churches,
but true churches are out, and they're the ones that have the
responsibility. Well, all the same, when they're raptured and
taken up to be with God, that administration is over.
And we talked about two witnesses that stood up and that were killed
and everything. Now that happens to us. We read
that in the 12th and 13th chapter. We read 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th
chapter. We read all that. And that takes place actually
toward the end of the tribulation period. But it's going back and
it's telling us what happens all during this time right here
now. Okay? When God took his churches out
of the way and all was saved, Then who on earth has got the
administration of the kingdom? The Bible tells us. No. God's kingdom over. Satan is
going to be alive and well and really get with it on earth at
this time. But God always had an administrator and an administration
in His kingdom. He always has representatives
to speak for Him. First of all, we see the two witnesses that
stand up. And who in the world ever those
two witnesses are, I do not know. They could be John, they could
be Daniel, they could be Elijah, they could be Enoch, Moses. All right, and it could be two
different people, I don't know. But there are going to be two
witnesses stand up during that period of time. And then it says here
that that's not only the ones going to be preaching the everlasting
gospel. And I told you a minute ago, people have only been saved
one way in God's kingdom. And that's by repenting and believing
in Jesus Christ. And the Bible and the book of
Galatians tells us, Paul tells us in the book of Galatians,
that God preached the gospel to Abraham. Abraham understood
about it. Adam in the garden understood
about the gospel. Every time they ever sacrificed
a lamb, every year for their sins, that innocent lamb had
to die for that one which was guilty. And that's what the lambs
all stood for in the Old Testament. Sacrifice, or whatever sacrifice,
was a type of Jesus Christ. Well now, we have an angel flying
through the heavens, and he's preaching in everybody's language,
or everybody that, wherever he goes, they're hearing the gospel
in their own specific language, their own dialect. If you're
Oakey, you speak in an Oakey. If you're Scottish or whatever
you are, you're going to understand exactly what this dude said.
In your very own dialect from where you were, you're going
to hear it just like that. I saw another angel flying in
midheaven having the eternal gospel to preach to those who
live on the earth and every nation and tribe and tongue and people.
And verse number seven now, verse number seven. Tony, have you
got that there? Have you? You're right there
by the camera, so you'd be right in there. Okay, now who made heavens and
the earth? We're going to find out this
on Wednesday night on S22. That's where we are. They moved
us out of here on S22 on Wednesday night. We're going to start the
book of Colossians. And what does the first chapter
of Colossians tell us? Who created the heavens and the
earth? It was God the Son. It was Jehovah
that created the heavens and the earth. It tells us that not
one thing was made without his name. He was the actor. He was
the one that made it. So who are we supposed to worship
here? Jesus. He's the same. He was the Lamb,
too, wasn't he? Behold, the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, him
144,000, and his name and the name of his Father written on
their foreheads. Who is this? This is God, all right? All right, now let's look back
again. Look at our chart. It's talking
about what's happened all during the Tribulation period, but when
does Babylon fall? When does Babylon fall? When
does this great economical system set up by the Antichrist, when
does it fall? At the end of the tribulation
period, that's when it falls, okay? The great tribulation period,
during that period of time. And what is it? It is a religious
and economic social system of the Antichrist. He absolutely
has the answer for everybody's problems. There won't be any
ceiling at that time because you can't buy or sell anything
with money. You can't be conned anything. I mean, here in Bexarstown,
California, in the Sheriff's Department, they have every division
of how people have been cheated and conned out of their money.
Half of society is living off the other half of society by
cheating that part of society by stealing. You have prisons
that have blue collar crime workers. They do. And white collar crime
workers. We have one woman this last week
that just went to prison. That is a worldwide famous person.
Yeah, Martha Stewart. They should have made her pay
everybody back that she cost a dime. That should have been
the first thing. That would have been real justice. But she went
to jail. She went to jail because she's a white collar crime. Well, this is all crime, isn't
it? Crime. We talked about the stock
market. How many people in the last five
years have been absolutely devastated by what those people did in the
stock market? This is what we call white collar crime. Well,
the Antichrist said this is never going to happen again. I'm going
to have total control. I'm going to know what's going
on everywhere, all the time. This isn't going to happen. I'm
going to make everything you have safe and secure, except
he's going to take it away. How it's going to be safe and
secure, it's all going to be in his hands. OK, Babylon, the
grave is fallen. And verse 9, "...who is your
angel, follow them, saying, Look at our voice. If anyone worships
the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead
or on his hand, Go ahead. He himself shall also drink of
the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength
into the cup of his indignation. Okay, now let me explain that
just a little bit. It says mixed. How many of you
make cake mixes and stuff? There's a certain amount of everything,
all right? And there's vanilla extract. Some of it's pure vanilla extract.
Some of it's cut down or whatever. Wrath of God is not diluted whatsoever. It has not been mixed. It has
not been cut. It has not been diluted whatsoever.
It is pure wrath. That's what it means. It's unmixed.
A lot of the translations say mixed, but this is pure, undiluted. That's what it means. Go ahead,
Tony. We shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence
of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. All right.
This undiluted wrath, anger of God. All right? Now, verse 11. And the smoke of their torment
ascends forever and ever, and they have no rest day or night,
who worship the beast in his image, and whoever receives the
mark of his name." Alright, now this talks about even going into
eternity. What happens even in eternity?
These people that are condemned here, there is not going to be
any second chance at the judgment or anything. It's done. It's
over with. Once you make your decisions, it's done. I remember
a story of a woman one time. She was going to be a missionary,
and she was going to come out west, and she had lived in the east.
And she had all the ambitions of getting out here, and she
wasn't afraid of anything. And people kept saying, you know,
the West is a very wild place. Well, she got on a train in East
and she rode on the train as far as she could go and she just
figured she could ride on the train all the way there. And
she'd get off and she'd be out in Colorado or someplace. Well,
she ended up the train and then she had to start riding in stagecoaches.
And then she, in the very beginning when she got off the train, she
met people and they said, watch out when you run into cowboys.
They were terrible people. No woman is safe in the presence
of a cowboy. Except they're just horrible,
and they do not have any respect for any woman or female whatsoever
in this world. Well, she got on the stagecoaches,
and once she got on the stagecoaches and she saw no more civilization
and everything, all of her courage began to wane away. And she got
out there, and nobody rode on the stagecoach with her, and
they'd stop and try to get her to eat and sleep, and she was
so afraid that she couldn't eat and sleep. She was starving to
death because of fear. All right, well that's some kind
of a, this is fear. How would you like to be in hell
and know that there is absolutely no hope from that point of time
onward? Well, this woman, she rode in this stagecoach. She
finally got out to about 500 miles. You know, stagecoaches
don't go 70 miles an hour on the freeway. She's bouncing around
all of the time. And out, and she'd ridden alone
for herself a long time, and finally she said, this great
big man was a Buffalo rowboat. She had a Buffalo coach. Came
in, and she was setting On the back side of the stagecoach and
he came in and sat right beside her and he had this big pistol
in his belt and another one on and he had his rifle and he set
his rifle down there. And he just threw his rope right
over her. Just like that. And she just sat there and shuddered.
She never said a word. They rolled for many, many, many
miles and she was absolutely, her heart pounded all the time.
She was scared to death that this man was going to violate
her or in some way So she heard no decent woman is safe in the
presence of the cowboys. He finally said, are you thirsty? He said, I have some water in
my canteen. Would you like to have a drink? And she just, your
teeth were shattering. She couldn't say anything, so
he just got the thing out and he undid it and gave her a drink
like this. And they were under the buffalo robes because it
was so cold. And she was afraid to say anything back to him.
They started trying to talk to her. He said, what are you going
to do when you get out west and how far are you going? What's
a girl like you going out here for? Don't you know it's dangerous? And she says, I want to work
in an orphanage. I heard there's an orphanage
in Colorado where many people's children are orphans and I want
to go work in an orphanage and I want to help women and I want
to help build a church out there and all this kind of stuff. And
then she started getting more brave. You know, this guy was
a great big guy, but he seemed like he was, he, and she asked
him, she said, uh, uh, uh, uh, are you a cowboy? He swallowed,
yeah, I'm a cowboy. What are you going to do to me?
He said, uh, nothing. Like this. Finally, after she
got her courage up, she says, uh, Where did you come from? He said, so and so and so and
so. Well, how about your mother and your father? What do they
think about you coming out west? Well, I haven't talked to them
in a long time, and I heard that my father had died, but my mother
is still alive. But I haven't wrote her or anything
in many, many years. And she said, you know, your
mother is probably scared to death and worried about you. You need
to write a letter to your mother. And he said, oh, I will. She
said, I'll pray for your mother and all this kind of stuff, and
I'll pray for you. So she starts witnessing to this By the way, at the end of the
trip, he had promised to ride his mother and everything else,
and he was even going to go to church. Well, these people here in the
tribulation period that have taken the heart of the beast,
there is no hope for them at all. That little old gal rode
across the United States from the stage, scared to death, and
every moment was like hell itself, especially when the cowboy got
in there and threw his robe over her. She finally found out in
the end he wasn't such a bad guy after all. But there's no
hope for these here. Now verse 12, verse 12, I told
them to go over that. Here is the patience of the saints.
Here are those who keep the commandments of God in the faith of Jesus.
All right. Commandments of God in the faith
of Jesus. Now, there are going to be people, even at this period
of time, that are going to give their lives for the gospel and
for the truth of Jesus Christ. Rita, are you right there, too,
in the same place? Verse 13. All right, blessed, happy are
the dead. Happy are people that are getting killed. Happy are
people that are being killed. Now that's weird, isn't it? Go
ahead, Rita. All right. These are people saved
during the tribulation period. All right. These are the ones
that are saved in the tribulation period. I've heard many people
and preachers at different times say nobody's going to be saved
in the tribulation period. Yes, they are. It just keeps saying
over and over again. Go ahead, read your verse fourteen.
Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud's edge,
orange, like the blood of man, having on his head a golden crown,
and in his hand a sharp sickle. Now here we have God weeping.
All right? This is weeping. This is what
it's all about, weeping. Go ahead, Rita. And another angel
came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him, and
shed on the cloud. Thrust in your sickle and weep,
for the time has come for you to weep, when the harvest of
the earth is ripe. Go ahead, verse seventeen. 19 and 20. So the angel pressed the sickle
and spear together to bind the deer and threw it into the great
winecrest of the wrath of God. And the winecrest was trampled
outside the city, and blood came out of the winecrest, up to the
horse's bridle, for one thousand six hundred furloughs." What? Two hundred miles long? What
in the world is he talking about here? This is talking about the very
end of this period of time called the Battle of Armageddon. That's
what it's talking about. How many of you have heard of
the Battle of Armageddon? They have movies called Armageddon
and different things like that. This is the period of time when
there's going to be a great amount of death and blood is going to
be flowing all over this battlefield. We find out that this battlefield
is going to be created. It doesn't even exist yet. Did
you know that? This battlefield, there's going to be an earthquake,
and it's going to open up. There's going to be a valley
200 miles long, exactly from one point to the other point,
if you measure them, it's 200 miles long. It's exactly like
the Book of Revelation. And guess what the scientists
have now figured out? There's an earthquake fault that runs
exactly right through that area. What do you think about that?
Do you think that's a chance? Created everything. I mean, it's
there. It's waiting. Things are ready
to happen. Chapter 15 now. Chapter 15. I
told you we studied sometimes more than one chapter. Brother Joe, are you right there? Chapter 15 and verse 1. And I
saw another sign in the heavens, great and marvelous. and because
in them the wrath of God is finished. that's going to be created. It's
200 miles long and 75 miles wide. Okay, if you want to write that
down somewhere. It's 200 miles long and 75 miles
wide, and if you look and study the seismology of the area, there
is where it's going to be, right exactly where it says between
these two points. Alright? And then verse 2, love
y'all. And I saw as it were a sea of
glass mixed with fire, and those who had come out victorious from
the deep, and from this image, and from the number of his name
standing in the sea of glass, holding hearts of God. Okay,
now the sea of glass. Where did we study about the
sea of glass? Where is the sea of glass? Around the throne of
God. Alright. Around the throne of
God. And what in the world is a sea
of glass? What does that mean? It's a precious stone. Alright. And what color is this stone?
It's sapphire. It's blue. It's a sapphire. And
what it is, it is a beautiful polished stone pavement all around
the throne of God. This is a polished stone pavement,
a sapphire stone, one solid sapphire stone that is around the throne
of God. And these people are singing
praises to God around this beautiful, beautiful rainbow throne. What does rainbow stand for?
Yeah, these are the saints that are saved. Now as they're being
killed, they're going up into heaven and they're standing around
praising God for His glory. You know, they had already rejected
God before the tribulation period. And so during the tribulation
period, these people believe and they die for the gospel during
that period of time. How are they going to be killed,
by the way? The Bible talks about how these people, they're going
to be beheaded. They're going to be public beheadings and they're
going to be televised all over the world. That's what it says.
We've got 144,000 students. Now we've got the saints that
were being saved and beheaded and shed their own blood. So
all of this is taking place right here. It's all taking place.
Tell us about it right here. Here is the tribulation period,
all right? Here is when it starts at the end of the church days.
The church goes up, okay? And all that happens, we've got
two groups here. We've got Israel, and then we've
got the Sages that are Gentiles, and then we have the Marks of
Satan, all right? These are people who are marked
by Satan. So we have Israel and we have
the saved people that's talking about right here. Now Israel,
the people of Israel are going to be alive on the earth. These
are going to be killed, alright? These saved people during the
tribulation period are all going to die for the testimony of God. Israel is going to be protected,
alright? And these people are going to be the army of Satan.
They're going to be alive and they're going to be protected.
They aren't going to die. No, they're going to live on
the earth. Because when they go into the millennial reign
of God, which starts over here, this millennial reign, this thousand
year reign, people on the earth are going to go into the millennial
reign in their physical living bodies. And the earth will be
repopulated for 1,000 years, and Israel will be leading out
as the administrator of God's kingdom on earth. Of course,
the Lord and all his people are going to be like the sun shining
above the earth in New Jerusalem. All right, let's go on and look
at that some more. Who was reading? Go ahead. And they sang a psalm of Moses
and the blessing of God, and the songs of the Lamb sang, great
and marvelous are thy works, O Lord God Almighty, righteous
and true, thy way, thou King of the nations. Who will not
fear, O Lord, and glorify thy name? For thou alone is holy. For all the nations will come
and worship before thee. For thy righteous acts have been
revealed." All right. And, say, Brother Bill, are you
there on that page? Chapter five. It starts out with
Metatoptic. That's what it says in Greek.
All right. Let's look at that now. Go ahead,
brother. All right, now here we have a
beautiful scene going on in heaven. The God from heaven, He's sending
out judgments. Now, it's said that the temple
was filled with the smoke from the glory of God and from His
power. Now, on the earth, go back in time, in your chart here,
as you look back, And you come up here, on one side it starts
like this and on the other side it starts like this. Back here
we have the promise of God. The promise of God was made to
Abraham. And God told Abraham to go into
Canaan land. You know, God is able to look
from eternity past and look all the way through time and tell
everything that's going to happen in time. He is omniscient. He knows everything. And he's
omnipotent. He's able to make everything
happen like he wants it to happen. And he can allow evil, vicious
acts to bring about his eternal work. Why did Israel want to
go back to the Promised Land, to the land of Canaan, to Palestine? Why did they want to go back?
And, you know, they were scattered out. The Bible also talks about
over here the dispersion of Israel during the church age. Why did
they want to come back when they were thrown out through all the
world? In Germany, in Europe, all over. Why did they want to
go back to that little piece of land over there in Palestine?
Wherever they were, they were persecuted. Not without cause. The whole world, if you talk
to people today about Jewish people, so many times when they
talk about them, they spit. Because they're angry. Germany
hated the Jewish people. After World War I, the Jewish
people got control of much of the banking and the monetary
system in Europe. And boy, they were mad. When
Hitler came on the scene, he just put into force what Luther
and Calvin had preached before that. Luther called for every
Jew to be put in a concentration camp, and every man to be neutered,
and every woman worked to death until they died. They were going
to exterminate this terrible race of people. Because of what
they did to Christ, alright? Luther thought they should be
destroyed. Well, you know something? God got a plan for these people.
Didn't he read where the regathering of Ezekiel? But he spiritualized
it away in wrong theology and applied the church to the national
Israel. God didn't do that. Luther and
Calvin didn't, alright? We're still fighting that today,
even today. Back in time, when God established
Israel, the nation of Israel, through his prophet that was
called Moses. Remember Moses? Moses, first
of all, he built a tabernacle that was like dwelling place
of God in heaven, like what they call a eutyphic vision or paradise
in heaven. And in the middle of that paradise,
according to everything that we see here, is the Ark of the
Covenant or the very presence of God. And the Ark of the Covenant,
they built this golden box. It was made out of wood, but
it was covered with gold. And gold stands for what? Metallically
in the Bible. Deity. Wood stands for what?
Humanity. box that was put in the middle
of it, this Ark of the Covenant, and inside of the Ark of the
Covenant was manna, alright? It was an unbroken law, and it
was also Aaron's rod, which budded. We see these things that were
put in the Ark of the Covenant. But who does this Ark of the
Covenant, who does it stand for? Jesus Himself, because God, deity,
gold, became humanity, John 1.14, John 1.1, and lived among mankind
so he could redeem them back. And this is the Ark of the Covenant
stood for Christ. God wanted to dwell among his
people, and that Ark of the Covenant stood for him. And the mercy
seat in 1 John 2.2, it says to us there, The Apostle writing in 1 John
says that he is our propitiation, that he is our mercy seat. He
is the mercy seat. He is the one that sprinkled
his... there at that mercy seat, and
he said that the smoke and the glory of God was so great, the
Shekinah glory of God, that they couldn't even see where they
were going. And here we have this again. Then after the tabernacle
was done away with and the Temple of Solomon was built by Solomon,
David's son, They built the temple, and then they took the Ark of
the Covenant and put it in there. And by the way, that's the only
temple that ever had the presence of God in it. None of the rest
of them did. All right? It's the only one. Well, when
they had it built, when it was dedicated, the Chicane glory
of God came upon that temple, and they could not minister for
the presence of God, the Chicane glory of God. Now, here in heaven,
we see that type of presence again. All right? In the great city. Alright. Where do we end up there? In
16 and what? Where? Where? 16 verse 1. Go and pour out the
bowls of wrath of God and the first angel went and poured out
his bowl on the earth and it became a loathsome malignant
sore upon men who had the mark of the beast who worshipped his
image. So there is where we are going
to finish for today. All of this furthermore. But that happened back in the
dark ages, didn't it? This was the time, and what happened
in the Dark Ages was just exactly like this. You know, there was
a period of time when Baptists could not live. They went out.
How many of you ever heard of the Amish? And the Mennonites,
they live in these little colonies and everything else all over.
Those are all Baptists. They have never changed, because
back at that period of time, they had to run and they had
to hide and live in hidden communities, and they lived like this. And
they had to live, because they wouldn't live... First of all,
if you had a child, the Catholic Church said that if it wasn't
baptized in so many days, many times they would kill the child.
And they killed the parents, too. Well, you couldn't work,
you couldn't do anything unless you became a citizen of the Holy
Roman Empire. That happened in history, that
really happened. So we have a type of what took place back then.
Many people were killed, people that would not conform because
they preached the word of God and the truth. They would not
conform to that system and they were killed. So we see that.
Thousands and thousands. You know that between 50 and
100 million people died during the Dark Ages at the hands of
the Roman Church? Between 50 and 100 million people. That's a lot of people. Well,
that was just a typo. That's what happened in the last
days. That was only just a preview of coming attractions. That's
all. And every one of us You know, we need to preach God's
Word to our families. We need to tell them about what's
happening, and that's why I'm teaching this class. Well, the Amish people, there
are some weird things about them. If you look in Baptists, in what
they call the Anabaptists, well, all during time, they had to
stay out by themselves. They had to hide. The churches
of the valley of the Piedmont are what's called the Waldenses,
and I told some of you about this before. But they lived up
in the Alps, and they hid out in valleys, what they call the
valleys of the Piedmont up in there. They were a secretive group.
They made their own clothes, their own furniture and everything
else. And they didn't ever go to town hardly at all. But one
of them went to town one time and they traced him and followed
him back through the different passages where he went. And the
Catholic Church found out about him. And they went in there,
they followed him in, and they killed all those people. They
put them in caves and they burned them. They suffocated them. They
chopped them up into little pieces. And there's a book called The
History of the Churches. The Ecclesiastical History of
the Churches of the Valleys of the Piedmont that was written
by the Church of England. And the Church of England exposed
at that time what the Catholic Church had done in the Valleys
of the Piedmont. That is a book. One of my friends found that
when he was in England. He's dead now, Dr. Conrad Nathan Glover. And I have a copy of it. You
can get a copy of it that tells all the families' names and everything
and where they lived. This really happened in history.
Well, it's going to happen again. These kind of things are going
to happen again, but it's going to be to a greater, greater scale
than ever before. Brother Art, I want you to come
up, and thank you for your attention today. If you want any of these
guys on tape, just call and we'll get them.
