Great Sermon! Hebrews 13:8 8Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
4 Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
17 For I will restore health to you
And heal you of your wounds, says the Lord,
6.For I am the Lord, I do not change"
2 But to you who fear My name
The Sun of Righteousness shall arise
With healing in His wings;
And you shall go out
And grow fat like stall-fed calves.
Pastor Cairns , only believe, only believe, all things a
Great Sermon! Amen! If there were ever a gift of healing or healers who had such a gift then why did Paul instruct people to call the ELDERS to PRAY over a sick person, rather than call the healers/those gifted with healing? Pastor Cairns is correct.
Great Sermon! Good clip. And right on!
