Waite's case is contrary to a snooty position that anyone can see the logic of the KJBible. This is contrary to a snooty position that belittles those " outside of the normal channels of technical information and data gathering necessary to understand the debate and issues involved in translation philosophy and N.T. text criticism" as Letis says; To say that non-scholars are not qualified to understand the issues is elitist.Waite makes a good case against this.
