Lazarus, Come Forth

Providence provided an opportunity for Jesus to demonstrate His deity beside the Father, His sovereignty among men and His dominion over death. If this life is all there is, Solomon said, it's "vanity of vanities". But no, in Christ we have the hope of resurrection to life eternal. Jesus' call to Lazarus was particular, powerful and saving: "Lazarus, come forth". So it is with the call of grace.
