I Am the Son of God

The Jews wanted to stone Jesus, not due to His good works, even on the Sabbath. Rather, they accused Him of blasphemy, for as they said, "making thyself God". Jesus affirmed they were correct in understanding what He said. He declared it saying, "I am the Son of God". By this He meant He was equal with God; the same in essence and attributes with God. Yea, Jesus was God the Son, in every sense God.
